Having used her illusions to fool both Zeref and Irene, Mavis made her escape, making her way slowing across a cavern. "To think I would have to flee our own Guildhall..." Fairy Tail's First Master muttered. "I need to rendezvous with the others somehow. But given my current position, reaching them would be difficult."
"I can take you to them." Mest teleported himself on the hedge behind Mavis, reaching out a hand to her.
Meanwhile...
"Don't give up!" Gajeel burst into the battlefield, swatting away the charging soldiers away from Jet and Droy. "I'll deal with this. You guys stay back. I already almost died." he used the chainsaw mode of his 'Iron Dragon's Sword'. "So I'm more than glad to protect my friends."
Pantherlily took out the incoming soldiers charging Gajeel with a blast of his Musica Sword. "You're surprisingly candid today, Gajeel." he teased his partner.
"Levy." Gajeel turned to the Solid Script mage.
"Gajeel, you big dummy!" Levy landed a furious kick on the Steel Dragon Slayer's face. "You dummy..." she saddled Gajeel's waist.
"Adolescence is great." Zera teased, hiding behind a destroyed brick wall.
"That voice..." Pantherlily recalled.
"I'm Zera." Zera nodded.
"That person who gave us directions?" Levy blinked.
"She's Shodai's friend." Gajeel supplied.
"But, your body..." Jet gawked at Zera's almost transparent body.
"It looks like Mavis has finally regained consciousness." Zera realized. "I was starting to worry she might never remember me. I'm an illusion created by Mavis' unconsciousness, which means I'll disappear once she remembers me. "
"A girl's voice told everyone to gather here?" Mavis echoed after Mest informed her about Zera's instructions.
"I'm pretty sure only Fairy Tail members can hear it." Mest confirmed.
"Who could it be?" Mavis pondered. Zera. She realized. "Now, it's time for us to return to our Guildhall." she declared.
Outside the hideout where Dimaria was holding Lucy and Natsu captive...
Natsu, upon hearing Lucy's wail of help, woke his E.N.D powers, frightening Dimaria and stormed out of the hideout, his homing instinct on Zeref leading him to head to where Zeref was. "There." he spotted the Fairy Tail Guildhall on top of the spiral hill.
"Natsu..." Gray stood in front of his best friend/rival.
"Gray..." Natsu growled.
