Paraguay's truth

Chapter 157

She walked into his room watching her patient finished up his breakfast. Even though he wasn't happy about it. She had pulled her grey coat off and placing it on the chair before sitting down and opening her briefcase to pull out the yellow notepad and blue pen for the notes.

"Special Agent Gibbs good morning. How was your breakfast?" she asks to begin with.

"I had so much better at my favorite diner. I even at one time had an idea about buying the diner and run it once I finally retire?" he was joking even though at one time it might have been true.

"I love that diner Jethro. You remember the first time we met with my patient Taft asking me a favor?" she said to him with a smile.

"Sure I do Doc. I had a feeling that you were snowballing me with accidentally getting to know each other. Anyways I am glad your here before I blow up from sheer frustration unable to move my legs."

"Okay. So your condition is going to be permanent?" this was a question that can go either way with the patient getting upset.

"The doctors have been telling me that the situation will be short-lived for the most part Doc. Otherwise depending on how things go with my spine and the swelling. There is always a chance that they might consider using the Cell Regeneration program once again on me."

"This seems to be a very popular procedure to use on patients? Especially using it on you four times and once with Shannon to place her cancer into remission. When do this is going to happen Special Agent Gibbs?" she commented.

"I have no idea at the moment." with the shake of his head and demeanor.

"One thing for sure Doctor I hate feeling so helpless like this right now not able to move my legs or toes. Even though only slight at the beginning. I can't be dependent on someone that loves me that has to go out of her way to take care of someone that can't walk?" he cries out loud with his response.

"Jesus h. Christ Leroy Jethro Gibbs, you need to stop already with the pity of yourself? and besides, it's not going to last for long. What happened when you were in the hospital for two months having been castrated by Juan Jose Hernandez?"

"At least Doc I was able to move my god damn legs and toes," he responded strongly. However, Doctor Confalone was going to get down and dirty now with the session.

"True but yet Loreile was able to help you in every way for when it comes to getting your penis up and working?" She quipped mostly with the question and the anger in his face. "What's the matter Gibbs it's the truth?"

"How dare you bring that situation up with this session?" he tried to sit up further to prove his point by trying hard to move his toes and legs altogether.

He broke out in a sweat on his brow and chest. When he wasn't able to move them to slam his fist from sheer frustration. "See! Are you happy now Doc?" he cried out with his response.

"It's a damn shame that you're given up on yourself and no doubt as to why Loreile is doing the same, Jethro. A woman can only take so much in her condition with the latest pregnancy and you had to get your injured again only to enhance her emotional and mental state."

"I didn't know I was going to get hurt like this for when it came to the bastard Alejandro Riveria?" he cried out in pain emotionally.

"The hell you did Gibbs! Even your own team actually knew the outcome of what was to come with the battle between good losing and evil winning again!" she blasted out at her patient for a chance and for which he needs it.

"I don't believe you on that one Doctor Confalone. No one knew what I was really doing. Even my own wife was kept in the dark on what I was on planning on doing with Riveria." he cried out with the response.

"And no doubt as to why your wife is angry at you once again for the move you pulled with going after Alejandro Riveria?" she was serious when it comes to the question.

"And if she wants to divorce me that's fine with me Doc?" he commented with tears falling down his face.

"You do realize that Loriele if she decides to divorce you. She will be taking the boys with her and you won't be able to see them for a long time to come plus with the court and alimony both the children and for Loreile?" she had hit a real nerve.

"So be it, Doctor Confalone! I paid alimony before with my other ex-wives. I will just continue to work and stay in my basement working on my projects." he exhaled with his emotions getting the best of him.

"One thing for sure Jethro, you're a real mess? One session is one going to help in any way," she commented with having to end the session for now.

"You're leaving Doc?" he asks with a shift in his position.

"For now yes. I suggest you try and get some rest tonight Gibbs and think about what was said today to me," she responded by putting on her coat while packing up the brown briefcase.
