Then she stood up and started picking up the plates.
"While our main course is settling down, Jack and I will take care of the dishes then we will bring out Desert then after that… presents"
The kids smile and are looking forward to opening up their presents. Jack stood up and helped Sam take the dishes into the kitchen.
"Sam I'm proud of you, you will make a wonderful mother"
"You think so?"
"Yes after all you got those kids in there to eat their vegetables" Sam look at him
"Well we can start planning on our own family in six months time, in the meantime, you want to take care of these dishes while I'll bring the rest back here"
"Sure" he gives her a kiss before Sam walk out of the kitchen
While Jack was sorting out the dishes and putting them in the dishwashers Sam was making the custard. When Jack Finnish and the door were close, and he started the first one since it was full, he steep behind Sam and wrap his arms around her waist and put his chin on her shoulder
"How is the custard coming along?"
"Almost ready, what to take care of the plates, and spoons"
"Sure" he kisses her neck before stepping back and turning around and walking over to where the plates are.
When the custard was thick, Sam pours it into two jugs while Jack sorted out the ice cream and steam pudding. When they finish, they walk into the dinning room and sit down then they all help themselves. Mark and Ann sorted the kid's desserts and passed it to them. They try the steam pudding and custard; they love it with the chocolate ice cream. They talk while enjoying their deserts. When finish they all sat back and patted their stomach
"That was a good meal," Jack said
"Yeah, now I have to work it off before returning back to work" Mark said
"Oh I'm sure Ann can help you out on that one Mark" Sam said smiling
As she sips her non alcohol wine while smiling Grace looks at Sam then looks at Mark and Ann who was blushing, then she clicks onto what Sam was saying, she looks at Sam shaking her head.
Jack stood up and started picking up the plates and taking them into the kitchen, Sam did the same a few seconds later, while Mark and Ann took care of the kids and walked into the living room with Grace carrying John who was looking around the big room.
They sat down on the floor while Grace sat down in a chair, while the kids were looking at the presents that were under the tree. When Jack and Sam walk into the room they walk over to the tree and look at the kids
"Ok kids go and sit next to your mum and dad, while we get these presents out, ok"
They walked over and sat between Mark and Ann. Jack picked up two presents, then Sam did the same, they passed them to who names it is on then went back for more. Within minutes everyone got their presents and was opening them up. Jack and Sam sat next to each other as they opened their presents.
Sam got Jack a year's supply of 'old spice' after-shave and deodorant and she also got him his own personalised number plate that said 'ONEILL' which he loved and reward her with a kiss. Jack got Sam her favourite perfume 'lily of the valley' and lavender bath salts, bubble bath, body lotion and scented candles, which she loved. She gave him a kiss in return.
Jack and Sam got Grace some perfume and year supplies of hand and body lotion since she loves the smell of it and it makes her skin smooth, even though she only got some just for her hands, now she got enough for her whole body.
They got Mark and Ann perfume and after-shave plus a big box of chocolates each, which they know that they are going to love to eat. The kids all got toys which they love, two of them they can play while in the bath and others in the swimming pool. They all got colouring in books and crayons, which they could use on cold wet days. Plus they got them two Walt Disney videos for them to watch.
They all talk and look at what they got from each other and from other family members. Half an hour later the kids were put in the guest bedroom so they could have their afternoon naps while the adults talked and cleaned up the paper mess and had hot drinks.
Grace shares some stories about what Mark and Sam were like when they were the triplet's age which makes Ann and Jack laugh. They all watch a Christmas movie they were on TV that was on every year.
Grace looked at Mark and Ann first, they were sitting on the couch with his arm around her shoulder as she leaned against him, then she turned to see Sam sitting on the edge of the long couch with Jack lying on the couch with his head on Sam's lap. She could see that his eyes were close and Sam got her hands going through his hair which made him smile.
Sam turned to see Grace looking at her, she smiled at her grandmother then turned back to the TV again. Grace turns back to the TV thinking how happy both Mark and Ann are, she hoping that Jack and Sam will start a family soon, but she knows that Sam is busy with her training and will be up till June next year, after that she doesn't know what that air force has got plans for her after that. She was lost in through till she heard footsteps, she turn and smile when she saw MJ walking into the room
"Mummy pee" Ann got up and walked over to MJ and picks him up
"Ok, let's go to the bathroom, are your sisters awake?"
"Ah ha" he said with a yarn, then Ann walked down to where the guest bedrooms were.
Jack woke up when he heard MJ's voice, so after Ann took MJ down to the bathroom he got up and walked into the kitchen and made everyone drink. By the time he returned with a tray in hand all the kids were in the living room watching TV.
Jack put the tray on the coffee table and picked up the mugs and sippers, he passed them around to every one then he picked Sam and his up last and sat down next to her and passed a mug to her. She gives him a kiss then he wraps his arm around her shoulders and she snuggles up to his side while they all talk for a while.
Grace, Mark and his family left that night not long after a light dinner since it was almost kids bedtime. They thank Jack and Sam for a wonderful Christmas day. After they left Jack and Sam decided to go to bed and watch TV in bed and have an early night.
Over the next four days, Jack and Sam relax at home; they went into town once to pick up a few groceries for the New Year party which they were holding at their place. On Sam eighteenth birthday, Phillip, Tracey and family showed up at the hotel ballroom that Jack got booked for the evening, which made Sam happy.
There were over three hundred guests at Sam's birthday party. They all wish Sam a happy birthday. She knew that Jack was full of surprise and that was one of them. They all ate, drank, danced, talked and laughed. Everyone enjoyed their evening. Sam spoke to everyone there that evening.
Jack was at the bar drink his coke while watching Sam talk to one of the black ops guys when Phillip walk over to him
"Good party Jack"
"Thanks Phillip, enjoying yourself?"
"Yes thanks, I spoke to Sam before she told me what you got her this morning"
When Sam woke up and noticed Jack wasn't in bed, she sat up just as three dozen red roses floated into the room and on to her dresser then Jack was buck naked, tray in hand and rose in his mouth which made Sam smile. She quickly sorted out the pillows as he walked over to her and put the tray on her lap. Sam took the rose from Jack's mouth and smelled it then she gave him a thank you kiss.
"I know I heard"
"Ah… your super hearing, I forgot about that"
"Well there you go" then he took a sip of his drink.
"I haven't told Sam and Mark… Tracey and I saw Jacob and Elizabeth just before Christmas, we accidentally bump into them at the mall" Jack look at him
"What happen"
"Elizabeth asked after them, I said that if they wanted to know how they are doing, they give them a call"
"Ok, what else?"
"When Jacob left to go to the men's room, Elizabeth almost broke down, she asked me how they are doing, how the grand kids, are you guys happy"
"Sounds like she wanted to contact them but Jacob holding her back"
"That what I'm thinking also"
"Does she know about Sam promotion?"
"Yes someone by the name of George Hammond told her, she told me and she said she is proud of Sam and she did tell me that she and Jacob are going to be here in February for Crag wedding"
"We know, Sam is one of the bridesmaids, when Carol told us about the engagement and asked if Sam would be matron of honour, Sam was happy and of course said yes. Then when Sam asked who the luck guy was, well he pick a good time to show up, Carol was shock when she saw Sam gave crag a hug and she for got that crag and Sam have known one another for years"
"Really"
"Yep and guest where they first meet?"
"Where?"
"At our wedding, I think Sam was playing matchmaker" Phillip laugh
"Well you never know with Sam"
"True" Then Sam walk over to them, Jack wrap his arm around her shoulder and she gave him a kiss
"I heard you two talking about me"
"Oh"
"Uncle I was playing matchmaker, Carol used to go out with Jonas Hanson, till he put her in hospital two months before our wedding. She told me that she doesn't want to go out with any other guy again, she lost her confidence in men… till I introduce her to Crag''
"Are, you're a sneak you know that Sam"
"I know, after we returned from our honeymoon she told me that Craig asked her out for a drink, she turned him down and ran away so to speak, we talked about it and I said to her. That he and I knew Crag all my life won't hurt her, but she was scared and of course Crag spoke to me, so I got them together… I trick them both, saying I was going to meet them at a café for lunch but they didn't know that the other one was going to be there" she said smiling
"Sam you can be full of surprises," Phillip said
"I know" hey talk for another ten minutes before going their separate ways.
Jack and Sam finally walk in the door just after one in the morning, it was a long day for them both but a happy one. Later that morning while they were sleeping, their phone rings so Jack reach over and picks it up
"Hello"
"Morning Jack, it Andy"
"Andy, oh morning what can I do for you?"
"Is Sam there"
"Yeah, she here" then he pass the phone to Sam
"Morning Andy"
"Morning Sam. Happy birthday for yesterday"
"Thanks, how Jane?"
"Good the reason I called is that Andy Anderson junior was born at twenty three fifty last night" Sam sat up in bed
"Your joking, wow congratulation"
"Thanks, I said to Jane now there going to be a double birth day from now on, she forgot it was your birthday"
"Ah… some birthday surprise" Jack got out of bed and walk into the bathroom
"Yeah it sure is how the party went last night?"
"It went great, everyone had a wonderful time"
"That good to know… oh I for got to congratulation you on your promotions and awards"
"Thanks"
"I was almost thirty when I was promoted to captain"
"Really, well I think the way I'm going by the time I'm thirty I might be a full bird colonel or brigadier colonel"
"Heaven help the air force" then he laugh
"Funny"
Then Jack walk back into the room, Sam smile and raised an eyebrow, then she look at Jack and lick her lips which made him groan
"When Jack and I get a chance we will drop by at the hospital to see Jane and… AJ"
"I'm sure she would like that Sam, I better go Rose just finish her breakfast… now she need a bath" Sam laugh
"Ok have fun"
"Thanks wait till you and Jack have kids, then you will be going through the same things that all parents will be going through"
"I know and we will be loving it"
"We will see, I better go, bye"
"Bye" then Sam rolled over to Jack side of the bed and hung up, then she rolled back over to her side of the bed and got out of it
"I'll be back and take care of your problem Jack" then she walks into the bathroom and closes the door.
Jack got back into bed and waited for Sam to return. When she did and was in bed, they both kissed and made passionate love twice before they decided to get up and have a shower together before breakfast.
They spent the next two days getting everything sorted out and plans for their New Year party that they are hosting at home. The night of the party everyone showed up for it and the party was in full swing. Everyone was having a wonderful time. Jack and Sam made sure that there was plenty of drinks and food for their guests. When it was time Sam was next to Jack when he turn the music off
"Ok every one thirty seconds to midnight so make sure you're with a love one"
Every one moved around till they found their husbands and wife's. Then Jack started the countdown, then everyone join in. When it got to three Jack and Sam kiss while every one bring in the New Year when they sing the New Year song. When Jack and Sam pulled apart he look at her
"Happy New Year Sam"
"Happy New Year Jack" then they kiss once again then they join in on the song, then they wish others that were around them a happy New Year.
Jack and Sam finally got to bed just after five that morning after the last of their guests was gone. Soon as their head hit the pillows they were sound asleep.
