Paraguay's truth

Chapter 159

"Three days Madeline. The rest of the time will be by email, webcam, and Text messages. Whatever you do please don't mention any of this to Gibbs. Since he is very resourceful with trying to find me?" she cried out with being alone inside the quarters having to be very spacious. She said.

"Understood Loreile. I am really sorry about all this happening."

Two weeks later with Special Agent Gibbs released from the hospital and with going home to his house in Alexandria, Virginia. As per orders, there will be a visiting nurse every few days to keep an eye out on Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

He didn't feel like sleeping up into the main bedroom. But rather sleep on the couch. He walked into the nursing noticing that all of the boy's things had been taken as with the D.O.D. an agent having been assigned to protect them as Loreile.

He felt saddened all of a sudden needing a beer from the fridge having been stocked along with the beer and Bourbon. Moving slowly into the kitchen. He opened up the fridge to pull out the Budweiser beer bottle sipping it to head for the couch alone.

Turning on the TV with the remote scanning the channels. He was more interested in getting drunk instead of pulling out two more bottles to head downstairs to the basement to work on his boat. It's been a while since he was working since finding himself in the hospital.

He was sitting on the bench looking over at the boat trying to gear himself into working but couldn't for the moment feeling sorry for himself for the most part.

When all of a sudden he heard the door opened upstairs as he grabbed his weapon to see who the hell it was coming into his home.

Seeing the familiar face. "Jesus Tobias I almost shot you! What the hell are you doing here?" he cried out almost to the point of stumbling.

"Are you drunk or what Butch?" Fornell needed to say about his friend.

"Now what do you think Tobias?" he takes another sip this time of the Bourbon that was sitting inside the tin cup. "Do you want a drink or not?" he asked again with the question and moving slowly with his movements.

"Fine Butch I will take one for now. I came to see how you're doing in a general old friend?" he came over to grab the other cup that was sitting on the bench.

Taking a sip of the Bourbon to almost choke on it since he's not had a drink since the death of his daughter Emily. "Jesus this stuff is potent for the most part Butch?" he said to finish up the last of the liquor going down his throat and stomach burning a little.

Meanwhile, Gibbs was writing something on a piece of paper giving it to Tobias with a curious look on his face. "I had enough Butch with going upstairs and so are you to get your sorry ass sober?' he cried out loud enough. "Let's go or else I will carry you over my shoulders," he exclaimed with Gibbs going willingly.

UPSTAIRS OUTSIDE ON THE FRONT PORCH

"Do you mind telling me just what the hell is going on Butch?" he said with annoyance in his friend's altitude.

"Cartel is listening in to my movements and conversations ever since my wife and family left me. I received a letter from a lawyer in Washington, D.C. that the divorce proceedings were going to begin within the week." Gibbs lied to keep the lies of the undercover operation going.

"I am truly sorry Jethro that Loreile had gone through with the divorce and the boys? Do you have any idea where they are located at the moment?" he needed to ask with placing an emotional hand onto his shoulder.

"No, I don't and don't care anymore Tobias. I just hurt too much now to do anything about it now." he lied to his friend. "Thanks for your comfort just I did with yourself and Emily dying?" he had gone back into the house with his friend leaving to head back to his work at the regional F.B.I. office.

Meanwhile, Gibbs had sent off a text message on the phone that was given to him by his wife. Afterward, he went back to drinking his Bourbon down in the basement. However this time he was going to try and finish up some of the boats.

A message had been sent back on the phone while he was working and drinking at the same time. He had smiled for the first time in a long while from his wife. She had told him that she loved him a great deal and that the boys were adjusting well.

He sent back another text..."LOVE YOU AS WELL!"

Afterward finishing for now he needed to lay down with heading upstairs to his couch instead of the bedroom and his memories.
