Delayed

"Attention all Delfino visitors. Your flight has been temporarily delayed. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

"Gah! That's another delayed flight!" A Toad grumbled.

"Well, at least the other flights haven't been delayed. They should be arriving at any moment." A Pianta said, and then the board switched to all flights delayed. "ALL FLIGHTS?!"

"What is going on at the other side?! There shouldn't be any weather delays, right?!"

At Sunshine Airport…

"Wow! This definitely beats the theater." Donut said.

"And you thought this idea was lame." Grif said proudly.

"Well, I have to admit… it's very life like!" Sarge said as they were standing on the roof of the airport.

"Alright, I wanna see more action!" Grif said from a megaphone as a giant Donkey Kong had fallen on an airplane.

"BWAHAHA! That all you got, monkey face?!" Bowser roared as he breathed fire but Donkey Kong grabbed the airplane and used it as a shield before tossing it into a few other planes as he delivered a nasty right hook on Bowser's face to make him stumble. "Ooof!"

"That's more like it! Who needs CGI when you do live reenactments!" Grif said.

"Uh… guys? I think we need to move!" Simmons said.

"Nonsense! This is pure raw material!" Grif said, and then Bowser unleashed an uppercut that knocked Donkey Kong toward the airport.

"MOVE! MOVE MOVE MOVE!" Simmons yelled as they took off running.

"Ah, he'll catch himself!" Grif said.

CRASH!

Donkey Kong got back up, moving away from a pancaked Grif underneath all the rubble as he rushed toward Bowser while letting out loud gorilla noises.

"Oooogh… maybe I should've reenacted Disney movies first…" Grif groaned. "Ooooow…"

Team Yell

Luigi wandered around in a mansion, Poltergust in hand as he was searching around for some ghosts. His eyes shifted over to a lamp post that was moving suspiciously. Aha! He thought as he moved his way over to the lamp and gently tapped it, and then an Orange Ghost popped out.

"Got ya!" He smirked, flashing his light at it and then sucking it up, but as he did…

"RAH! RAH! GO LUIGI!"

"Wah?!" Luigi yelped, jumping in surprise and seeing some Team Yell members. "Where'd you guys come from?!"

"Suck in that ghost! It's not gonna last much longer!"

"GO LUIGI!"

The mere distraction from Team Yell was enough to pull the ghost away from the suction and then laughed, before flying away.

"It's getting away!"

"After it!"

The Team Yell members quickly chased after the ghost while Luigi looked on in disbelief before facepalming.

Neo looked directly at Yang, smirking at her as Yang cocked her gauntlets as the two rushed at each other, both of them attacking each other with Neo swiftly dodging Yang's punches as she kicked her in the gut and then backflipped, giving her a playful smirk.

"GO NEO GO!"

["Wha…?"]

Neo turned to see a few Team Yell members cheering them on. "You got this! Kick that blonde's butt!"

Neo rolled her eyes as she rushed at Yang, but the loud cheering was distracting her as she tried to hit Yang, but she blocked with her arms and then gave her a good solid right hook to knock her sideways as she then kept punching her.

"GO NEO GO! GO GO GO! YOU GOT THIS!"

Neo turned to Team Yell. ["Will you be quiet!"] She glared and turned around… to get punched in the face by Yang to knock her out.

"Oooooh!" Team Yell winced.

"Heh, thanks for the distraction!" Yang waved.

Later…

"I told you they can be a handful." Marnie said, handing a bag of ice to Neo, where she would put it over her black eye.

"Are they always like this?" Luigi asked.

"Yeah… they mean well, even if they tend to go to the extremes…" Marnie admitted.

"That's one way of putting it…"

"I mean, I do tell them to knock it off, so there's that?" Marnie shrugged.

["I think telling them you made some new friends was a mistake…"]

"Oh, they're not that bad." Marnie said.

"Lady Marnie!" Captain Goomba came running in. "Your Punk Squad is all messed up! Some thugs came in and decided to give them makeovers, including giving them facepaint!"

"Oh, for the LOVE OF…" Marnie let out a sigh, turning toward Neo and Luigi. "Okay, so they're a little mischievous…"

"They also did it to Lord Bowser."

Marnie's eyes widened. "Oh no… NO NO NO NO!" She went running out the door. "GUYS, WAIT A MINUTE! STOOOOOP!"

With Bowser…

"Hey, this ain't bad at all!" Bowser said, his face covered in Team Yell colors, even his Koopa Clown Car was painted differently.

"You're welcome!" A Team Yell member grinned.

"BWAHAHAHA!" Bowser would then hop in his Clown Car. "This is gonna strike fear to those Toad Town do-gooders! HYPE SQUAD, MOVE OUT!" He yelled as he took off flying while Team Yell took off after him in Team Yell-ified Airships.

Storming Bowser's Castle Alternate Take

"Lord Midbus! Bowser and Co are here!" A Goomba said.

"Finally. This time, I'll crush that Koopa with everything we have. Commence procedures!"

"On it!"

Outside…

The castle lifted itself off the ground, its thrusters making it fly up. "Gah! Do I have to get giant again!"

"Okay… how are we gonna get in there?" Mythra wondered.

"Hmm…" Sora looked directly at the entrance to the castle. "I got it!" He said, getting into position and Airstepping his way into the door.

"Great! …So how are we going to get up there?" Terry asked.

"We'll find a way to get you up here!" Sora said.

"Just hang tight!" Donald said.

"Huh?!" Aoi looked to the side and saw blinking outlines of where Donald and Goofy used to be. "How did they… when did… how…?!"

"We'll be right back!" Goofy said and the trio took off.

"Okay… you guys didn't see them go with Sora, right?" Aoi asked.

"Yes… they were right here, but how did they get…?" Kyoko wondered. "You know what, it's probably not worth questioning."

"Let's hope they find a ladder." Pyra said.

Later…

"What?! Who are these three? How did they get into the castle?!"

"No idea!"

"OW! OOOF! GAAAAH!"

"WHERE'S BOWSER?! I SHOULD BE FIRING A CANNONBALL AT HIM NOW!"

"GIVE ME STRENGTH!"

"GAAAAAH!"

"What is going on up there?" Bowser wondered.

"It's over!"

Suddenly, Midbus and some Goombas were kicked out of Bowser's castle. "AAAAAAAAAAAH!"

THUD!

The thrusters deactivated as the castle landed on the ground as the Disney Trio walked out. "Come on in, guys!" Sora waved.

"I missed a good butt kicking… aaaargh!" Bowser grumbled as they walked into the castle.

Ninja Guy

A blue Shy Guy, decked out in ninja garbs surrounded himself in candles. "I will not fail my mission." He said as he swiftly slashed through the flames to extinguish them. "Ninja vanish!" He said, disappearing in a smoke bomb.

With Blake…

Blake's cat ears twitched as she walked around. "…My ninja senses are tingling… why do I feel like someone's copying my shtick?" She wondered, unaware of the Ninja Guy staring at her from a tree.

"There you are." He whispered. "I see you…"

Suddenly he heard chatter next to him as he turned his head to see a Waddlewing shaking its fist at him. "Oh, am I in your home? I thought this tree was occupied." He said, causing the Waddlewing to push him out of the tree. "Waaaah!"

Ninja Guy landed gracefully on the grass. "Back to my mission." He said as he then noticed that Blake was no longer there. "My target… she's gone! She's not going to escape me for long, however. Ninja vanish!" He threw down another smoke bomb.

Blake wandered around in a grocery store as the Ninja Guy appeared on top of a shelf behind her. "You cannot escape me." He said as he started to move.

"Oh wow! Look at this! It's a stuffed Shy Guy toy!" A kid Toad said, happily picking him up.

"Wha?! Hey! HEY! PUT ME DOWN!"

"Oh wow, he also talks and moves! He's so life-like!"

"Put me down, you kid! You're making me fail my mission!"

"Mommy! Look what I found!"

The Toad mother looked at the Shy Guy. "Honey, put it back."

"Why?"

"Because we have a lot of stuffed Shy Guys at home."

"Oh, good point." He said, tossing the Shy Guy behind him.

"Waaaaah!"

CRASH!

"Oooow…" Ninja Guy groaned as he was covered in items. "Rrrgh… I'm not through yet! Ninja vanish!"

Some failed attempts later…

Ninja Guy peeked out of a bush, looking directly at Blake who was sitting on a bench. "I have you now Blake Belladonna…" He said as he rushed over to her. "YOU ARE MIIIIINE!" He yelled, diving at her… but she disappeared the moment he touched her. "Wha?!" He yelled as he ended up in a rope trap. "Gah!"

"Got you." Blake said as she walked over to the Ninja Guy. "Don't think I didn't realize you were following me all day."

"Rrrgh… clever girl!"

"So, let me ask you something. What's with all this ninja nonsense anyway?"

"You've… you've inspired me with your ways of the ninja, so I thought I'd follow in your footsteps…"

"Wait, what?"

"And now that you're within my grasp… can I have your autograph?"

"Oh! Of course." Blake nodded as she pulled out a small piece of paper and wrote up her name before handing it over to him. "Here you go." She said.

"YES! Finally! My mission is complete. NINJA VANISH!" He yelled, dropping a smoke bomb… but when the smoke cleared, he was still stuck in the rope trap.

"You're still stuck."

"The escape was a lot easier in my head…"

I may not play Mario Kart Tour, but I do follow the updates and see what kind of costumes the characters are put into. (Luigi with Lederhosen was... definitely something I wasn't expecting.) So seeing the latest update where they put in a Ninja Shy Guy made me go "I think I can do a Chibi with this guy."

...I do question why they dipped King Bob-omb in gold though.
