Enterprise walked along her flight deck surveying the damage taken after her escape from Washington.

"Reactors 1-8 running normally. No damage sustained. Armor has held. No structural damage sustained. Flight deck is in proper repair. Aircraft can launch normally. All systems green." Enterprise murmured slowly as she checked off the list in her head.

Enterprise looked out over the waves, thinking of how she could improve herself in lieu of the fight ahead of her.

"Dauntless's, Hellcat's, and Avengers... Not good enough." Enterprise spoke softly as all three types of aircraft disappeared from the flight deck.

"I managed to snag a few blueprints from the Washington Naval Yard before confronting Empress. There might be something there for me to use." Enterprise spoke as she walked into the island to retrieve said blueprints.

Enterprise looked over the stolen blueprints and found two that looked promising.

"Skyraider?" Enterprise asked as she rolled open the blueprint, taking in all of the information before looking at the second blueprint.

"F2G Corsair." Enterprise read as she rolled the second blueprint open and absorbed the information needed to recreate it.

"I wonder if Vestal is okay..." Enterprise wondered aloud as she walked back out to the flight deck. With a glance at the elevator, Enterprise produced a perfect recreation of the Douglas A-1 Skyraider she had seen on the blueprint.

"This looks stable enough to be a multi role aircraft. Is this the answer? The weapon needed to bring me peace?" Enterprise pondered as she watched several different munition loadouts shimmer into existence under the wings.

Enterprise was about to walk back inside when the screech of an eagle forced her eyes to the sky.

"Grimm?" Enterprise asked as she held out her arm to block the sun, not expecting the bald eagle to land on her aptly provided perch.

Enterprise smiled as she brought her arm down, allowing the eagle to see the face of his old keeper. Upon seeing her, the eagle nuzzled it's head against her cheek.

"Always my loyal companion... ever since Midway." Enterprise said as she ruffled the feathers on the bird's head before allowing him to take off and find a place on the island to nest.

"Hope in the most unlikely of places. Is this what you always spoke of, Sister?" Enterprise asked as she walked into the island.

"Ent...ise" The radio sputtered as she walked onto the bridge.

"Hmm?" Enterprise wondered as she adjusted the frequency.

"Enterprise, come in." A man's voice came over the radio.

"Who is this?" The carrier asked accusingly.

"Vice Admiral Ghormley." The man spoke.

"Vice Admiral. What do I owe the pleasure?" Enterprise asked.

"I see you're finally answering your radio." Ghormley grumbled.

"Yes... well, I have no excuse. I just managed to break free of the Siren Blockade." Enterprise spoke.

"Good. I guess I can't blame you for going dark. They took you at the end of the war and did god knows what." Ghormley stated

"I received power through Siren experimentation, Vice Admiral... hopefully my suffering was enough to free the world from their clutches." Enterprise spoke.

"I am sorry to hear of your suffering... but there is hope. A fleet currently in Australia." Ghormley spoke.

"I can be there in a week and a half. These new reactors certainly push out a lot more power than my old boilers did." Enterprise boasted modestly.

"Reactors?" Ghormley asked.

"Yes sir. I can feel the tingle of Nuclear Material within my hull. I have 8 nuclear reactors powering my vessel, Vice Admiral." Enterprise explained.

"Good lord... What else did they do?!" Ghormley exclaimed.

"My AA array has been reduced to three guns, but after using them in my escape, I can say I have more AA power than the entirety of Ford Island, Sir." Enterprise boasted, a bit more proudly.

"Three guns equaling an entire military base?! That's impossible!" Ghormley yelled over the radio.

"As impossible as it sounds, these guns pump out more lead than anything we have ever seen before. Had these guns been mounted on... Arizona or Oklahoma, those two alone could have defended Pearl Harbor back in '41. These guns... they're an active area denial system. They shred anything they come across." Enterprise explained as she looked out the window of the bridge, seeing the Phalanx system mounted on the island.

"This sounds like a load of bull, Enty." Ghormley spoke.

"Sir... I have intelligence from my own personal commentary with the Siren known as Empress." Enterprise replied.

"What?! You spoke with that demon!?" Ghormley cried.

"Yes sir... Apparently, without siren intervention, the technology used to make this hull would have come about in the 70's, two and a half decades from now." Enterprise said.

"How is this possible?" Ghormley asked as Enterprise looked out at the horizon, seeing the familiar land mass she saw frequently during the war.

"Sirens apparently have the ability to traverse different timelines. She told me this tech was lifted from a timeline they visited where the year was 1970. Apparently this exact hull was being used by the Union Navy against Northern Parliament and Dragon Empery." Enterprise spoke.

"What? We're allied with Northern Parliament and the Dragon Empery. You mean to tell me that we are set to go to war with them?" Ghormley asked.

"I don't know. Sirens seem to always mess with the timelines they visit... as they have with this one. I do not believe this would have come to pass without their intervention." Enterprise explained.

"I would have to agree, Big E. Please avoid Pearl at all costs. If you just escaped, you'd be walking right into a trap here. I'm hidden in the radio room in the bunker. Admiral Nimitz is in Australia with the Commander of Azur Lane. Seek them out. We'll be fine." Ghormley said as his voice dropped to a whisper.

"Vice Admiral, is everything okay?" Enterprise asked.

"Hey! You shouldn't be in here!" A female voice shouted in the background, followed by the sounds of plasma fire and static.

"Vice Admiral! VICE ADMIRAL!" Enterprise yelled as the line went dead.

"God damn it." Enterprise spoke as she pounded her fist into the steel desk on her bridge.

"Your sacrifice will be remembered, Vice Admiral. I will evacuate everyone else. Pearl will be freed... today." Enterprise ground out with tears in her eyes. She ran from the bridge onto the balcony overlooking the flight deck. Splashes were heard as Enterprise dropped anchor on both sides of her hull, rapidly slowing her to a stop a few miles offshore. Jumping to the flight deck, Enterprise had only one thing to say.

"Enterprise... engage the enemy." The carrier spoke as a massive fleet of Skyraiders appeared on the end of the flight deck.

"Launch!" She yelled as she took off in a sprint, activating her rigging as the first Skyraider was catapulted off the flight deck, laden heavy with bombs and rocket pods. A massive leap from Enterprise put the silver haired woman on the canopy of the fighter as others followed her into the sky.

"To think I'm attacking the very place I fought for." Enterprise said as her bow materialized in her hands. Drawing the string, an arrow of yellow energy came into view as she took aim at the biggest target she could see, the Strategist class Siren standing in the middle of what used to be battleship row.

"Your reign ends here." Enterprise ground out as she let her fury guide the arrow to it's target, slamming the siren to the water as the arrow exploded within the Siren Carrier's chest before she had time to react.

"All wings, gun down every siren you see. Minimize collateral. Every sailor we save is a soldier, Medic, and Engineer to help us in our fight." Enterprise spoke as her fighters broke off, creating a scene very similar to those who witnessed the infamous day known as December 7th, 1941.
