Unova Part 10

Ash and his friends are doing a little training on their way to Nimbasa City when they are interrupted by a lone Cottonee. Cilan explains that this is pretty unusual because it's the time of year when large groups of Cottonee visit the nearby Rainbow Valley to pair up and ride away on the Diamond Breeze. It turns out that this Cottonee wandered away from its group to pursue a prospective partner, but was rebuffed. So they decide to teach the rejected Cotonee the art of battle so that it can gain some much-needed Confidence. After some intense training, Cottonee is ready for courting once more. In the end, it is still rejected, but he is happy to be with Ash and the others as he joins their team.

Unova Dex Entry No.53 Cottonee: The Cotton Puff Pokemon: Grass and Fairy Type. Perhaps because they feel more at ease in a group, they stick to others they find. They end up looking like a cloud.

On their way, they hear an explosion, so they decide to check it out, and they see something that shocks Iris and Cilan. They see Dr. Colress and Elena battling another Elena, with their Metagross clashing at each other.

"Give up, Hunter E, you are not going to take those Petilil away for your own greed!" Elena yells, and Hunter E just snorts, "Even though you are me in this world, you really are as stubborn as me..."

"Elena?" They notice how Ash and the others are approaching, Colress says, "Looks like we got the help that we need."

But Hunter E is not happy, she recognizes Ash and Lillie, she mutters, "So they are here as well...damn it..." Then she decides to retreat as both her workers and herself flies away with their ship.

"They got away!" Lillie says. Elena says, "It is fine, at least they didn't capture the Petilil. Though it is good to see you again."

Iris asks, "So you were just battling yourself? I can't believe there is a person that looks just like you..."

"I got that a lot, that is Hunter E, and she is from the Darker Dimension." Colress sighs, then the depressed Cottonee that Ash has noticed a Petilil and it immediately falls in love with it. And the Petilil is doing the same. Colress asks, "Is this Cottonee yours?"

"Yeah, it was rejected by the other Cottonee, so we captured it recently." Ash says.

"I see...by the way, Ash and Lillie. Since you are here, I have a gift that was given to you by Agent Daybreak." Colress says.

"Agent Daybreak?" Ash is confused. "You know her?"

"Of course, we have been working together for a lot of times." Colress says, but he decides to keep her identity a secret. Ash takes the gift and opens it, it turns out to be an Elgyem. Ash thanks them and he befriends the Elgyem.

Unova Dex Entry No.112 Elgyem: The Cerebral Pokemon: Psychic Type. Rumors of its origin are linked to a UFO crash site in the desert 50 years ago.

After the two Grass Type Pokemon are getting along, Petilil also decides to join the group, and Lillie captures it.

Unova Dex Entry No.55 Petilil: The Bulb Pokemon: Grass Type. The leaves on its head grow right back even if they fall out. These bitter leaves refresh those who eat them.

"You know, it is lucky that we have some Sun Stone so you can evolve the two Pokemon." Colress says as he gives them each a Sun Stone, and they evolve the Cottonee and the Petilil at the same time.

Unova Dex Entry No.54 Whimsicott: The Windveiled Pokemon: Grass and Fairy Type. Evolved from Cottonee with a Sun Stone. They appear along with whirlwinds. They pull pranks, such as moving furniture and leaving balls of cotton in homes.

Unova Dex Entry No.56 Lilligant: The Flowering Pokemon: Grass Type. Evolved from Petilil with a Sun Stone. The fragrance of the garland on its head has a relaxing effect, but taking care of it is very difficult.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has come and tries to force Dr. Colress to help them with their work. Dr. Colress, who knows that they are the evil team made by evil Giovanni, doesn't agree to help them, so Ash and he work together and send them flying. Then they bid farewell as Colress and Elena want to keep track down the Hunter E

Ash and his friends stop by the road having lunch, Cilan wants to cook and asks Ash to rest for the day. Ash agrees and he, Lillie, Golly, and Iris go for a walk. They meet Trip on the way, who is capturing a Palpitoad. When Ash calls out to him, the Palpitoad runs away.

"You again? Can't you see I am in the middle of capturing?" Trip says with a little annoyed.

"Sorry, it is an accident…" Ash says with an apologetic tone.

Then Iris sees Trip's Vanillite, she freezes and starts to shiver. "Get that away from me!"

Ash and Lillie's sweat drops, Trip recalls Vanillite and says, "You have defeated Alder easily and you are afraid of Ice Types? What kind of Champion does that…"

Ash sighs, "This is why we are training her to conquer her fear of Ice and Fairy types, somehow she manages to make progress with Sylveon and our Whimsicott."

Trip then says, "So how many badges do you have, I don't think you have more badges than me…"

Ash says, "4. I am going to Nimbasa City for my next one."

Trip says, "So you have four as well… fine. I accept the battle, 3 on 3."

"Sure." Ash replies.

Trip sends out Servine, while Ash sends out Lampent. "I see you are having stronger Pokemon…" Trip comments and he takes pictures of Lampent.

The battle begins with Trip's Servine using Leaf Tornado where Ash counters it by having his Lampant use Shadow Ball. The two attacks collide and Trip immediately orders his Servine to use Leaf Blade. Ash orders his Lampant to dodge and then use Will-O-Wisp, causing the Pokemon to burn, then Ash finishes off with an Inferno.

"I am still not strong yet…" Trip mutters as he recalls the Servine.

Ash asks, "So what is your dream, Trip? Being strong is not the reason why you are going on a journey, right?"

Trip says, "My dream is to fulfill my promise with Alder, I want to battle him. But I couldn't do it at the league because he is not the Champion anymore…" He grits his teeth.

"I see…" Iris says, feeling sorry for the boy since she is the one that beats him.

Trip sends out Timburr, Ash sends out Elgyem, Trip once again takes the picture of the Pokemon, since he says that it is rare. Ash orders Elgyem to use Zen Headbutt, while Trip commands Timburr to counter with its wood. Then Timburr uses Low Sweep, Elgyem uses Protect to defend himself, and uses Calm Mind. Ash finishes it off using Psychic to let him smash on the rocks.

Trip sends out Vanillite last, Iris says, "Why do you send it out again…"

Lillie says, "Hey, it is not that bad, it is cute too, I wish I have one."

Ash sends out his Tepig and battles him, Tepig easily defeats her using Flame Charge to smash through Blizzard.

Trip is sad at his loss again, but he sees Vanillite enjoys the battle and even happy to meet them. Trip then stands up and says, "Ash, this time I lost again. But seeing Vanillite is happy with you, why don't you take her?"

Ash is shocked, "But what about you, since you want to battle Alder…"

"I can go and capture another Ice Type, consider it my prize for winning against me." Trip hands over the Pokeball to Ash and walks away.

True to Trip's words, Vanillite has gained a liking to Lillie. Iris asks, "Ash, where is Trip, and what is that Pokeball?"

"Trip says that after seeing Vanillite likes us, he decides to let us take care of him." Ash says, causing Iris to fall into the ground defeated.

Lillie says, "That is great, Vanillite, let's become strong and be an Ice type Master."

Vanillite nods in agreement as they head back to see Cilan.

Unova Dex Entry No.89 Vanillite: The Fresh Snow Pokemon: Ice Type. Theoretically, this Pokémon formed from icicles bathed in energy from the morning sun. Their breath is -58° F.

They are passing by a lake, where Scraggy has angered some Foongus and causing every Pokemon except Oshawott to get poisoned. But Ash manages to capture one of the Foongus and adds it to the team.

Unova Dex Entry No.97 Foongus: The Mushroom Pokemon: Grass and Poison Type. It lures Pokémon with its pattern that looks just like a Poké Ball then releases poison spores.

"Man, there are a lot of Pokemon, I can't heal them all…" Ash says with a groan.

So, Ash, Lillie, and Cilan go to the lake to find Remeyo Weed, but they are ambushed by a Palpitoad and two Stunfisk. Ash and his friends battle them with Oshawott, they defeat them and even capture them.

Unova Dex Entry No.42 Tympole: The Tadpole Pokemon: Water Type. By vibrating its cheeks, it emits sound waves imperceptible to humans and warns others of danger.

Unova Dex Entry No.43 Palpitoad: The Vibration Pokemon: Water and Ground Type. Evolved from Tympole at LV:25. It lives in the water and on land. It uses its long, sticky tongue to immobilize its opponents.

Unova Dex Entry No.125 Stunfisk: The Trap Pokemon: Ground and Electric Type. When its opponent can't be paralyzed, it contorts itself with unexpected speed and flops away.

They meet a Dragon Buster named Georgia, she wants to battle with the Dragon Type Champion. So she uses Beartic while Iris sends out Haxorus to battle. After winning, Georgia demands another one as she sends out Vanilluxe. Iris decides to call out Excadrill, who is in the Drill mode once more. Georgia thinks that she isn't serious and walks away.

Iris then tells them that after Iris gets the Champion, she goes back to meet the Opelucid Gym Leader, Drayden, and have an unofficial match, Excadrill loses to his Haxorus and becomes like this. Lillie asks if the reason is Iris doesn't know his feelings, which turns out to be right. Iris apologizes to Excadrill and they decide to work together in the future.

When they are having lunch again, they meet a Roggenrola, who has been telling them that his friends are attacked by Team Rocket, so they decide to go help them and save the other Roggenrola. In the end, the Roggenrola thanks Ash and the group for help, so it decides to join Ash's team by Ash battling against him with Tepig.

Unova Dex Entry No.31 Roggenrola: The Mantle Pokemon: Rock Type. The hexagonal-shaped hole in its ear. It tends to walk in the direction the sound is coming from.

Lost in thick fog on their way to Nimbasa City, Ash and his friends come across a wandering Audino who appears to be in a trance. Suddenly, they are stopped by Officer Jenny and two young detectives, Christie and Doyle, who accuse them of having something to do with the recent disappearance of several Audino. A background check reveals their innocence, and when Officer Jenny tells our heroes what's been happening, they offer to help.

Splitting up into three groups, they vow to find the missing Audino and keep an eye on the town's remaining Audino, with the help of some high-tech tracking devices. But just as they begin the operation, the remaining Audino start moving, and everyone takes off after them.

When the tracking signal gets jammed, Cilan speculates that someone might be controlling the wandering Audino and causing the tracking signals to fail by using high-frequency sound waves. With its excellent hearing, Ash's Roggenrola leads the investigators to an abandoned wind farm, where they discover Team Rocket behind it all. Jessie, James, and Meowth have been luring the Audino, intending to use them as part of Doctor Zager's powerful new radar device.

A fierce battle ensues and Team Rocket's sound-wave machine is destroyed, freeing the captured Audino. However, when Officer Jenny attempts to arrest the villainous trio, they escape once again. Fortunately, the Audino are now free and safe, and Ash manages to capture a wild Audino who was also controlled by Team Rocket as well.

Unova Dex Entry No.38 Audino: The Hearing Pokemon: Music Type. Using the feelers on its ears, it can tell how someone is feeling or when an egg might hatch.

Here is a new chapter, and this one is hard to write as I included 7 episodes inside it. I hope you like it and the next chapter will be the movie.
