Paraguay's truth

Chapter 172

"I will certainly agree with you, Doctor. However, my entire life had never been easy. Especially when I always had to prove to everyone that I was able to do my job, learn, grow as a woman in every aspect. However, living the past four years has been a challenge for me?" she says.

Shifting in her chair. "Don't you think it was the same thing for Jethro as well?" Doc said with emotion. "Gibbs has worked hard to better himself as well with you by his side. But he's not used to communicating when it had destroyed two of his marriages."

"My husband had always been obsessed for when it comes to his work. However, as he had gotten older things have changed a great deal."

"It has Loreile. When he's going to be turning seventy in a few months and way past the mandatory age to retired with NCIS?" Doctor Confalone had to point out the response.

Shaking her head. "I do know that about my husband and why we had a number of arguments in regard to it. I have a feeling now with the latest injuries he's going to finally take that retirement package from Director Vance?" she needed to have said to the doctor.

"And what package is that Loreile?" Doctor Confalone had to ask with needing to know every detail.

"Leon had asked my husband to work at the Academy as a teacher along with the gun range. With the occasional OFF THE BOOKS undercover operations. I know this is rather crazy for Jethro to do? At least he will be semi-happy to be with NCIS working on a case that he loves the most!"

"We must remember that Leroy Jethro Gibbs has been an agent for over 30 plus years. Prior to that having been a Marine and still is in many ways Loreile? I don't think anyone let alone Gibbs to get that out of his blood?" she said with enthusiasm in her tone of voice and demeanor.

Shaking her head. "It's basically the same thing with me as well with having to be a marine for two years in the field of communications. I understand the thrill of all of it Doctor Grace." she smiles before grimacing slightly with her face thinking about her husband.

"Thrill! I have never heard Gibbs express it that way whenever we had chatted over the years? It was his duty mostly to serve his country. Even though he had told me that there had been too much bloodshed over the years. Even though he's been an NCIS agent for 34 plus years." she said.

"Doc! It's like with every war that the United States had been through. And it will be worst if ever there is a world war three for when it comes to the Atomic/nuclear bombs?" she cried out with the stress hitting her neck and shoulders.
