Prompt 47: "Trust me."

"Trust me," Deeks said, holding out a hand with a winning smile. Kensi refused to take it, planting her fists on her hips.

"Deeks, I am not skinny dipping with you," she told him firmly, ignoring his puppy dog look of dismay at her refusal.

"It'll be fine, I promise." Kensi snorted.

"There's no way you can be sure that someone isn't going to catch us."

"We have the whole area to ourselves," Deeks reminded her. He gestured to the woods and small lake that accompanied the cabin they'd rented for the week. He was right; the neighboring cabins were uninhabited. That still didn't mean Kensi was ready to strip down.

"Somebody could still wander by," Kensi insisted, refusing to give in.

"I guess I'll just have to go by myself." He started walking closer to the lake, reaching for the hem of his t-shirt. Kensi watched as he slowly pulled it over his head, revealing the expanse of his tan back inch by inch. A slow wave of heat, that had nothing to do with the blazing sun above them, flooded her stomach as she remembered grasping that back the night before.

He tossed his shirt to the side and then reached for the waistband of his shorts. Kensi followed the movement eagerly.

"I know you're watching!" he shouted over his shoulder.

"Just take your damn pants off," she shouted back, done pretending that she wasn't enjoying the show. Smirking at her, he let his shorts drop and kicked them to the side.

Apparently he'd decided to go commando that morning. He really did have a good butt, she thought, wondering what Deeks would do if she tackled him to the ground and had her way with him in the middle of the woods.

Deeks walked to the very edge of the lake, completely confident and slid into the water. He disappeared from sight for a moment and then popped back up, smoothing his soaked hair back from his face.

"Are you coming?" He waited expectantly and Kensi hesitated for another moment and then jerked her shirt off. She was sweaty and, despite her objections, the thought of skinny dipping with Deeks was surprisingly exciting.

Kensi had just reached for the clasp on her bra when she heard approaching voices. Her mouth dropped open in horror and she glanced at Deeks who had frozen, apparently unsure if he should stay in the relative cover of water or get out.

Not waiting for him to decide, Kensi put her shirt back on. The voices were getting closer; by the sound of it, they'd reach the clearing in a couple minutes.

With a lot less grace than he'd used getting in, Deeks pulled himself onto the shore and grabbed his shorts, frantically trying to force them past his wet hips.

He didn't bother zipping them. Their unexpected visitors sounded mere feet away. Deeks picked up his shirt, grabbed her hand and tugged her toward the path that lead back to their cabin. Together, they ran down the path, only stopping when the lake was no longer in view.

They glanced at each other and both burst into laughter. Kensi fell into Deeks' side, breathless from the combination of laughter and running and they sank to the ground in a pile of tangled limbs.

"Oh my god, you should have seen your face," she gasped.

"I'm glad you find my distress so amusing," he said, still laughing himself. Kensi was completely unrepentant.

"Hey, I told you skinny dipping was a bad idea." Deeks sighed and ran a hand through his hair which was clinging to his face in random clumps as it air dried.

"Well, what do you want to do now that swimming is out of the question?" he asked. Kensi grinned, hopping to her feet and pulling Deeks with her.

"I have an idea," she said, grinning mischievously as she started walking backwards. "And it doesn't involve any clothes either." She dropped Deeks' hand and slipped her shirt off again.

His eyes widened and he reached for her, but she danced away, giggling.

"Oh no, you have to catch me first," she told him.
