"So... what's with the Spanish inquisition?" Isaac asked as Alice and Penny helped him sit up.

"The very fact that we are here." Enterprise said as she finally made her way into the room, closing the door behind her.

"Ah, that would probably be the biggest reason why you all would be here." Isaac reasoned as he looked around the room, seeing Azuma, Mutsuki, Enterprise, Akagi, Perkins and Kaga, and Helena.

"I have to admit, Admiral, I was not expecting to end up in Australia just because I was spending a night with Kaga." Perkins said, his voice hiding a tinge of disappointment.

"I can explain." Isaac said.

"Please do, Commander. Because that was a Mirror Sea, a tool of the Sirens." Enterprise said as the girls all glared at Isaac.

"Well... first and foremost. I have captured Observer Zero, and in exchange for not executing her outright, she agreed to help me and this fleet defend Australia from invasion. While she was below deck on the Norfolk, she informed me that we were in possession of a Mirror Sea Generator, the only downside being that a Siren would have to be the one to use it." Isaac said.

"So that explains the Mirror Sea, but not why we were the only ones taken." Azuma said as she held Mutsuki close.

"I gave Zero the location of the multiple fleets under my command during the heat of battle. I told her to grab whoever she could. I had no control over the generation of the Mirror Seas or who they took." Isaac said.

"And what about me? I wasn't a part of your fleet until this battle. I still have yet to pledge my allegiance to you, but yet I was picked up by a Mirror sea, leaving 3000 men on 3 ships that now have to haul ass to get here." Enterprise said.

"Zero explained that she had the approximate location of you, and I requested that she pick you up if able, not knowing you were traveling with a fleet." Isaac said.

"Hmm..." Enterprise pondered.

"And What about me, Shikikan? I wasn't with the fleet when I was dragged away. I was mourning my Husband at Niue." Akagi hissed.

"Once again, I do not know the specifications. Zero is still under guard and is to be transferred to the Vengeance once I'm back on my feet, which is right after this little meeting..." Isaac said, causing Arizona to speak up.

"You're not moving until your arm is healed. I will not allow it." Arizona spoke sternly.

"I am the Commander. You can't order me here." Isaac joked.

"But I can, and as your nurse, in my med bay, I have power. So you're not moving until you are healed." Alice said as the girls in the room all looked to Isaac for his reaction.

Isaac sighed and accepted his fate.

"Fine. Did you girls need anything else?" Isaac asked as Kaga and Akagi walked forward.

"Shinano-sama said something about a little one during battle. She has never mentioned a little one before." Akagi accused.

Isaac blushed and looked at Shinano.

Shinano nodded.

"Well... Shinano is pregnant." Isaac managed to say before two aircraft carrier riggings were pointed at him.

"WHAT?!" Akagi screeched.

"Akagi. Please do not accost my husband. We have been blessed with a child, this is not cause for anger." Shinano said as she put her hand on Akagi's shoulder.

"You as well, Kaga." Shinano added as the Kitsune's of Carrier Group one looked up at her.

"But if you've become pregnant, then what about the rest of us?" Akagi asked.

"Isaac?" Shinano asked.

"Graf Zeppelin has had a child as well. And with her help... we have discovered that Kansen Pregnancy is not an isolated incident, as it has now happened to two Kansen at completely different times." Isaac explained.

"I want to dispute that fact, Admiral." Perkins spoke.

"Oh?" Isaac asked.

"Kaga and I have... expressed a desire for something more, like a child. But we have been unsuccessful." Perkins said.

"If I remember correctly, Kaga was launched November 17th. And her greatest victory was December 7th. According to Zeppelin, if an attempt is made in close proximity to a date of importance... it is possible to get a Kansen pregnant." Isaac explained, causing the girls in the room to whisper among themselves.

Perkins shut up quickly after Isaac's explanation, as Kaga was eyeing him with a look akin to a fox eyeing its prey.

"So... how far along is she? Is it like you humans?" Akagi asked as the other girls listened in.

"Well, according to the charts, the baby's development matches the three month mark for human babies. So we can assume that there is a much shorter period of time where the baby is formed and developed. But as a human Nurse, and this being the only time I have seen a Kansen getting pregnant, I am unsure as to how this will go." Alice said.

"So... we have to wait and see?" Akagi asked.

"Yes." Isaac stated.

"I have a question, Commander." Enterprise spoke up, ending the few moments of awkward silence.

"Ask away... I can't leave so now's the time." Isaac said with a shrug.

"What shall we do now? These girls have been pulled from all over the world. And I'm not even going to mention Ark Royal. That vessel feels completely different than a normal Kansen." Enterprise said.

"Well... it's your choice. I won't order any of you to stay here. I can attempt to send you back to the fleets I pulled you from." Isaac said.

"No. I wish to see combat. While I enjoy being a mother to this adorable destroyer, I wish for the enemy to meet my blade." Azuma said as she stood with Mutsuki, who nodded happily.

"You are heading back to New Guinea anyway, so we can stay as well." Kaga said as Perkins nodded.

"But what of the Iowa?" Isaac asked.

"I have a competent first mate. He can handle the Iowa just fine. It's not like she has a mind of her own to get in trouble with." Perkins said.

"Hey..." Kaga said with a slight pout.

"Do you remember the small cell of Explorers hiding out in the mountains? And how we had to send out Fusou and Yamashiro just to get you out?" Perkins asked with a hand on his hip.

"Fine... but it was a complete surprise attack. I checked the area with my fighters beforehand." Kaga argued.

"I know, but still." Perkins said as Isaac chuckled.

"Alright. Then you two can meet up with Richthofen as she has been placed as our air wing leader for right now." Isaac said.

"I left the Union to search for you. I too shall join." Enterprise spoke sternly.

"It will be good to have you. Although, I would also like to look over your vessel on the way back to New Guinea if it doesn't bother you." Isaac said.

"I don't see why you couldn't. I'm not sure I understand it myself to be quite honest." Enterprise admitted.

"Akagi?" Isaac asked.

"I... will not be staying, Shikikan. If you call, I will answer, but I wish to return to Niue so I can properly grieve my husband." Akagi said.

"I understand. You are free to leave immediately if you desire. Or you can wait until I can figure out the Mirror Sea." Isaac said.

"I shall sail. Shouldn't take me more than a couple days. I thank you for your understanding Shikikan." Akagi said as she left the room grumbling about children.

"And you, Helena?" Isaac asked.

"I shall stay. Sitting in Fiji was nice, but I wish to be useful." Helena admitted.

"Well, Then we will make a place for you." Isaac said as Ark Royal appeared in the doorway.

"The destroyers have been tended to and are now resting. Shame on you for not keeping them more defended." Ark Royal spoke.

"I see. Well, thank you." Isaac said as he used his good arm to scratch his head.

"Bismarck has also received Oscar." Ark added.

"Oscar?" Isaac asked.

"It's a cat. Specifically the cat that joined her on her voyage where she was sunk." Ark Royal spoke flatly.

"Ah." Isaac said as he wrapped his brain around everything.

"Alright everyone, please leave for now. Isaac is still recovering." Alice said as she stood up.

Isaac didn't say anything but he silently thanked Alice for getting him away from more questions.

"Please defer to Odin or Admiral Nimitz for orders. When I am back up and about, I will address the fleet once more." Isaac said as the girls all looked at each other and nodded before heading out. Shinano stayed behind and sat on his bed.

"Shinano?" Isaac asked the oddly awake kitsune.

"Yume said she was happy to meet her Papa, and she can't wait to play with you again." Shinano said softly as she laid down next to Isaac and looked up at him.

"Really?" Isaac asked.

"She is awake right now... feel." Shinano said with a heightened level of excitement.

Isaac put his hand on her stomach and felt a small pressure push back.

Isaac gasped happily as Shinano smiled.

"Yume can't wait to see her Papa with her own eyes." Shinano said softly as Isaac leaned back against the pillow on his bed.

"I can't believe it." Isaac said as Atago walked into the room.

"Atago?" Isaac asked.

"Shikikan? Are you alright?" Atago asked.

"Yeah. What brings you here?" Isaac asked.

"I've come to get Baltimore. She hasn't left her sister's side for over a week now." Atago said.

"Come to think of it, neither Baltimore class was active in the last battle. I see. Well, as you were then." Isaac said as he laid back down next to Shinano, who was completely enamored with playing with her belly.
