Prompt: Could you do a drabble about where some hits on Deeks or Kensi and one of them says "I"m/She/He married." I've always wanted a scenario like that and I've been waiting to see it happen since they got married.

"So, uh, how long you been with NCIS?" Agent Manos asked Kensi as they returned several weapons to the armory. Jason Manos was on loan from another team, filling in while Sam spent a week with his kids in Florida. Manos was tall and dark haired, and had an infectious smile. Kensi had liked him almost immediately.

"Oh, I'm not sure I want to answer that," Kensi said with a chuckle. "Let's just say it feels like forever."

"Is that a good or bad thing?" Manos accepted a sniper rifle from her, set it in its designated cage and then locked the metal gate. Kensi considered his question for a moment.

"Mostly good. If you haven't noticed, the team is kind of like family now, so I get to see my favorite people every day. That's always a plus."

"Yeah, I'm a little jealous of the bond you all have," Manos said. He was a few years younger than her, but still had the enthusiasm that came with being relatively new to the job.

"Well, if you saw the way we bicker like children sometimes, you probably wouldn't be so jealous. We've been on our best behavior the last few days," she warned him and he laughed.

"Noted. So what are you doing after we get out of here?" Kensi shrugged, thinking of the half of mushroom and onion pizza left if the fridge at home. Maybe Deeks would go out and grab Mexican if she gave him the right incentive. Holding back a grin at the thought, she answered Manos.

"I'll probably just go home."

"Or maybe we could go for a drink. I found a great place a couple days ago not too far from here," he said nonchalantly. She didn't really feel like going out, but she also knew what it was like to be the odd guy out.

"Sure, I'll ask the guys," she said. Manos made a strange noise in the back of his throat, rubbing his top lip.

"Actually, I was just talking about the two of us," he motioned between them, "you and me. Going out for drinks. Like a date," he clarified awkwardly.

"Oh," Kensi said in surprise, blurting out the first thing that came to mind. "You know I'm married, right?"

"You are?" Manos sounded horrified. "I didn't realize. You don't wear a-otherwise-who?"

"Deeks," she said, feeling equally as horrified and dismayed as Manos looked. "I thought you knew." It suddenly occurred to her, now that she knew his intentions, that Manos had been lightly flirting with her all day.

"You're married to your partner," he said and it wasn't a question. He nodded, pressing his lips together. "That makes a lot of sense, I should have seen it."

"What do you mean?"

"You guys kind of move and act like your one person sometimes. I just assumed it was because you've worked together so long."

"I'm sorry if you thought I was–" Kensi started to say, feeling a little bad for the other agent. Maybe she'd been a little too friendly.

"Oh, god no!" he interrupted, sounding horrified. "No. You've been great. I knew I was pushing my luck by asking you out in the first place, but I figured why not?" His voice was self-deprecating and Kensi rushed to reassure him.

"You are a great guy, Jason. Any woman would be lucky to have you." Just not her.

"And Deeks seems like a great guy." He nodded awkwardly. "I genuinely mean that. He gave me some good advice the other day."

"He is a great guy," Kensi agreed. The best.

"But, uh, could we maybe not tell him about this little fiasco?" he asked and Kensi nodded.

"I don't see any reason why he'd need to know." Manos nodded gratefully and muttered a goodbye, making a hasty escape.

"Hey, you want tacos?" Deeks texted her a few minutes later as she straightened a last few things in the armory. She grinned at how well he knew her. Manos was a nice guy, but he had nothing on her husband.

A/N: I usually have guys that are interested in Kensi be kind of jerks, so I decided to switch things up a little.
