"I think he has your mouth," Deeks said quietly, gently cradling their newborn in his arms as he sat on the edge of Kensi's hospital bed. She pushed aside the baby blanket he was wrapped in, marveling at his tiny features.

"Mm, I still think he looks just like you," she disagreed.

"Either way, he's beautiful. Even though his little face is all wrinkly." Kensi shook her head, sighing contentedly as Deeks cradled the baby against his bare chest.

There was a perfunctory knock on the door and before either of them could respond, one of the nurses walked in. Kensi was vaguely annoyed at the lack of privacy, but figured at this point they'd seen everything.

"And how is everyone doing this morning?" Nurse Stacey asked brightly while she changed the date on the whiteboard across the room.

"We're good," Kensi answered, glancing up at Deeks who nodded happily. He hadn't stopped smiling since setting eyes on the baby.

"Very good." He eased off the bed, placing the baby in Kensi's arms and then stood slightly to the side.

"Excellent!" Stacey said, turning around. "Now I'll just–oh my god." Her mouth dropped open, her face flushing as she caught sight of Deeks. Apparently she hadn't seen him in all his half–naked glory yet. Kensi saw her eyes travel down his torso and up again before she caught herself. "Uh, vitals. Let me check your vitals."

Kensi held back a smirk as the poor woman took her vitals, her cheeks bright red the entire time. Deeks seemed oblivious, standing off to the side.

"Your Doctor should be around in a couple hours," she said when she was finished checking Kensi and the baby. She stole one more glance at Deeks before she speed walked from the room.

"Did she seem a little off to you?" Deeks asked, reaching to take the baby back.

"Yeah, and it's all your fault," Kensi told him with mild amusement.

"What's my fault?" He sounded outraged.

"The fact that you look this gorgeous. Right now she's probably either hyperventilating in the break room or telling all the other nurses to look out for the hot dad in room 12," Kensi said, shaking her head.

"Wait, so you're saying I shouldn't do skin-to-skin?" he asked incredulously.

"Of course not. I'm just saying that you might want to throw on a shirt when a nurse comes in." He sighed at her suggestion, but grabbed his shirt anyway. Kensi snatched it from him and tossed it on a chair across the room.

"I thought you said I should put on a shirt," he protested. Kensi grinned at him, tugging on his hand until he sat down again.

"I'm not a nurse. I have absolutely no problem being stunned by your beauty," she said, happily running her hands up his shoulders. Somehow seeing him hold their son made him even more attractive, if that was possible.

"They must have you on some really good pain meds." Kensi ignored his comment.

"Just sit there and look pretty."

A/N: This is meant to be humorous and not as a negative portrayal of nurses. I'm sure many people, of all professions, could be caught off guard when seeing a person they find highly attractive.
