Prompt from: Julia notices Deeks' new muscles and drools about them to Kensi (bonus if Julia gets a little tipsy and lets Deeks know she's noticed too).

"Marty is certainly looking very well," Julia commented as Deeks walked around the bar, passing out drinks. Frowning at the undercurrent she heard in her tone, Kensi squinted at her mom, following her gaze which was completely focused on Deeks.

"Mom, are you checking him out?" she asked, gaping as Julia flushed a little. "Mom!"

"Like I said, he looks good." While she certainly seemed embarrassed, it wasn't enough to make her gaze waver. Kensi tilted her head, observing him. He wore a sinfully tight blue shirt that made his eyes pop, his hair seem especially blonde, and emphasized every muscle in his chest. Kensi really couldn't disagree.

"He's been working out a lot more recently," Kensi told her mom, unnecessarily. "I think I should be horrified that you're checking out my husband."

"I am not checking him out!" Julia protested. "It's just impossible not to notice him. Especially in those jeans." Kensi snorted and took a healthy swing of her beer. Her mom was already on her third screwdriver, which probably went some way to explaining her sudden lack of filter and wandering eyes. "And just look at his arms, I bet he could lift a tree."

"I'll tell Deeks to put on something a little less revealing."

"Oh no," Julia said at Kensi's offer, putting her hand on her daughter's forearm. "You don't need to do that. I mean, you don't need to go to the trouble."

"Sure, mom," Kensi said, shaking her head as Julia finished her third drink. She stole another glance at Deeks who was chatting with one of their regulars, one hip cocked.

"He should be in one of those calendars. You know, the kind they put firemen and police officers in. They could have one of his pictures for every month," she said in a loud whisper.

"Hey ladies, do we need another round?" Deeks asked, stopping by to grab Julia's empty glass. Kensi spoke for both of them

"I think we're good."

"Actually, I would like another." Julia laid he hand on Deeks' bicep, and then, winking at him, she deliberately squeezed. Deeks' eyebrows rose into his bangs for a second as he glanced down at her hand and then to Kensi.

"Uh, sure," he said, looking a little bemused.

"Oh, and keep up the good work, sweetheart," she added, squeezing his arm a second time. "You look wonderful." Deeks pressed his lips together, obviously holding back a grin.

"Thanks, Julia."

"Kensi is certainly a lucky woman."

"Okaaay and we need to leave," Kensi said firmly, tugging Julia out of her seat as Deeks finally broke down in laughter.
