Inuyasha started walking. "So, uhh… you guys seem close."
"It is the wish at work."
"You figured it out, then?"
"No."
He risked a look. His brother's face was inscrutable as ever. "No?"
"There is no other explanation."
Inuyasha snorted.
This time, Sesshoumaru archly demanded, "No?"
"You actually think nobody would get close to you unless a cursed jewel forced them to?"
Arms shifted, and Sesshoumaru's chin came to rest on Inuyasha's shoulder. "Hnn."
"No. Obviously. Idiot."
His brother sighed.
"You gonna tell me what happened?"
Sesshoumaru's hold tightened briefly. But then he sagged, sighed again, and abandoned his silence.
