Frost Waver's Realization

Ultra Space: Unknown world

In the world of Malummox's servants, the last two remaining: Frost Waver and Drakkor Ferros, gathered to discuss their plans.

"Now we have lost Floraltox as well. Does this not concern you at all, Drakkor Ferros?" Frost Waver asked.

"None of that matters. Our sole purpose is to bring back Lord Malummox. Everything else is insignificant." Drakkor Ferros replied in clear disregard for the loss of his comrades. "I have discovered a way to gather human suffering as energy for Lord Malummox. Go, and make those humans suffer to nourish Lord Malummox!"

"If that is what you wish," Frost Waver complied, she was distressed by Drakkor Ferros's answer but said nothing.

Melemele Island: Big Wave Beach

There were many people enjoying the hot sun and playing in the ocean, enjoying themselves.

But then, a cold front appeared and light snow began to fall.

The beachgoers were surprised by this and soon, they began leaving as things quickly became cold.

As the people were in mass panic, their bodies started giving off strange bits of energy that were invisible to their eyes.

The bits of energy flowed into a small distortion in space that was also undetectable to human eyes, allowing Drakkor Ferros on the other side to collect it.

Then, the Tortuga descended and the heroes came out with winter clothes.

"Whoa, it's already all white everywhere!" Mallow said.

"And freezing!" Lana said, shivering.

"It's gotta be them. Though I'm sure they did something like this before." Kiawe said.

"I can't tell what they're planning this time." Chris said.

"The one that's responsible can't be far away. Everyone look around!" Gladion said.

Then, the heroes turned their gaze towards the sea and found Frost Waver in the water.

"We've got a suspect! This deduction was made courtesy of Alolan Detective Rotom!" Rotom, with its Alolan Detective Laki wig, pointed out.

"Well, she clearly doesn't look human or Pokémon. I'd say you're spot on, Rotom." Martin said.

"I think it's time for some answers!" Gladion said, and the heroes confronted Frost Waver.

"So you've come. I, Frost Waver shall take you on." Frost Waver readied herself.

"So you are responsible for this snow!" Lana said.

"If you plan to throw Alola's natural order into chaos, then we'll stop you!" Kiawe said.

"Very well, have at thee!" Frost Waver said, sending a wave of water rushing at the heroes, who managed to leap out of the way.

The kids sent in their Pokémon to battle, and Chris and Martin activated Dragon and Thunderbird Powers.

Frost Waver lowered her arms and then raised them up to summon snow monsters from the ground.

"Go forth, my servants. Attack." Frost Waver commanded.

"Let's go!" Ash shouted and the heroes all shouted in agreement.

"Pikachu, use Iron Tail!" Pikachu slammed a snow monster with his steel-hard tail.

"Turtonator, use Flamethrower!" Turtonator breathed out a stream of fire to melt some snow monsters.

"Jellicent, Shadow Ball!" Jellicent fired a black energy ball at a snow monster.

"Umbreon, Dark Pulse!" Umbreon fired a beam of black and purple spheres at some smaller snow monsters.

"Magearna, Fleur Cannon!" Magearna its hands and fired a pink beam at the snow monsters

"Tsareena, Trop Kick!" Tsareena hit a big snow monster with a kick that unleashed petal-shaped bursts of energy.

"Vikavolt, Guillotine!" Vikavolt bit down on the big snow monster with its mandibles, cutting it in half.

Martin formed a cage of electricity around some medium-sized snow monsters then Chris added a layer of fire breath around it, trapping the monsters in a heated circle, causing them to melt.

Soon, the heroes defeated all the snow monsters.

"There's more!" Frost Waver raised her arms and summoned dragons made of water.

"We have some more up our sleeve too!" Ash said.

"Heliolisk, Parabolic Charge!" Heliolisk shot out multiple electrical blasts at multiple water dragons to vaporize them.

"Volcarona, Bug Buzz!" Volcarona fired a sinister pink beam at a water dragon.

"Sandy, Glitzy Glow!" Sandy unleashed a telekinetic force at a water dragon.

"Lucario, Aura Sphere!" Lucario formed an orb of aura in its hands and launched it at a water dragon.

"Tropius, Air Slash!" Tropius blew out air blades to split apart some water dragons.

"Decidueye, Spirit Shackle!" Decidueye fired an arrow quill at a water dragon, causing it to burst.

"Florges, Petal Blizzard!" Florges sent a tornado of shining white petals at the water dragons.

Soon, the water dragons were defeated as well.

"You all are very strong. I should test you myself." Frost Waver said.

Frost Waver sent more waves of water at the heroes and their Pokémon, but they all dodged.

The heroes' Pokémon all attacked with their moves, and Frost Waver formed a veil of water like a shield, but the attacks broke through, though Frost Waver wasn't harmed.

Frost Waver tried to retaliate with ice shard attacks, but they were all quickly stopped before they hit.

Then, Frost Waver suddenly stopped, much to the heroes' surprise.

"Even with the power that Pokémon possess, our powers are greater, yet why is it that when humans and Pokémon work together, they are able to draw out an even greater power?" Frost Waver asked.

"Because of bonds!" Ash answered.

"'Bond?'" Frost Waver said with inquisitiveness.

"It's because our feelings become one when we work together!" Lillie declared.

"That allows us to draw out greater power!" Lana declared.

"Because we understand one another!" Kiawe declared.

"That's where our strength comes from!" Sophocles declared.

"It's an incredible thing!" Mallow declared.

"You lot wouldn't know anything about that!" Gladion said.

The kids' declaration caused Frost Waver to go into deep thought.

"Is this why Namasao turned against us? I don't grasp its meaning." Frost Waver spoke to herself, reflecting on the answer.

Then, Frost Waver decided to withdraw, teleporting away, leaving the heroes staring confused.

After Frost Waver disappeared, the weather returned to normal, bringing back the sunny skies.

"She left…" Sophocles said.

"Did what we say really affect her that much?" Mallow asked.

Ultra Space: Unknown world

Back in the world of Malummox's servants, Frost Waver was alone, pondering, when Drakkor Ferros interrupted her.

"I believe I ordered you to Alola." Drakkor Ferros said.

"I had an epiphany. Of why our forces have been defeated by those humans and their Pokémon." Frost Waver said. "I feel as though we should learn more from this…"

However, Drakkor Ferros interrupted her. "Lord Malummox, nor I, have any use for failures who cannot follow orders!"

"Don't let your obsession with bringing back Lord Malummox overtake your reason. It will be the end of you!" Frost Waver said.

"This discussion is over. And so are you!" Drakkor Ferros fired a gray energy beam at Frost Waver, causing her extreme agony.

"Drakkor Ferros…!" Frost Waver muttered before her body fell apart into blue dust which then disappeared.

Then, Drakkor Ferros turned to a ball of fire resting under a slab with markings on it and got on his knees. "Lord Malummox. I have purged another weak-minded fool that was unfit to serve you. Rest assured, I will serve you faithfully to the bitter end, even if it costs me my life."
