After the whole ordeal from the last chapter, now things are about to turn sideways real fast, with one super pissed off mother-teen-rocker and one ticked off group of folks who all wanna know who this new menace is and where is he hiding. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 240: The menace that struck.
(Royal Woods Hospital.)
Right now we see Luna Loud, in the waiting room and with her is Albert, Myrtle, Sam, Sully, Mazzy, Michelle, Delilah, Harriet and some others who they know who were there when they found her son, Lincoln Loud. He was attacked and now they're all back to where they always have to see him from the aftermath of the pain.
The rest of their friends are also there, such as Clyde and hi dad's and those from Lincoln's school and then we have the former Loud sisters, Lucy, Lola and Lana and Lisa, and with them are their families, Lori was informed about this and is heartbroken, and the same goes for Leni and Luan.
Jordan and her parents are there as well, and the girl feels bad at what had happened, she goes over and sits next to Luna. "Ms. Loud, I should've went with him to the park… I shouldn't have let him go on his own, I just…. I'm so sorry, I wish I could've…"
Luna holds the girls hand, and Jordan sees the tears and face of comfort from Luna. "J-Jordan…. This wasn't your fault, we both didn't know this would happen. The only one to blame here is that sorry ass person who hurt my boy, and tried to kill him."
Jordan still feels bad for what had happened and she hugs Luna, the teen hugs her back and both shed some tears from what had gone down with Lincoln at the park.
The others feel bad for both of them, Sam is the one who is more hurt as Luna is. She sees Lincoln as her kid too, as he sees her as his other mom. 'What the hell?! Who the heck was that guy who attacked him?! The cops had better find some way and information on that man and fast.'
Amongst the group, we also see Mick Swagger and Katie Crest. Mick feels bad that this had happened to the son of the teen rocker, but Katie Crest isn't pleased. She does what she can to have a look of concern, but deep down she is not liking at how the plan went.
'God damn it! Are you kidding me?! That asshole Jak, didn't finish the job, I could only guess that he toyed with the kid and then beat him to make him suffer! He always does this, he never does he job right! Just like with the last moron I made millions in the music business.'
'He had better come up with some plan to get away and then come back and finish off that kid, or else I am removing all connections with him, for good!'
She fails to notice Harriet looking towards her. 'She's up to something. I can see that she's hiding something that we all don't wanna know, but what?'
Then the doors to the room open and they all get up and see Dr. Kendrick, the doctor goes towards Luna and Jordan, and the duo depart from the hug. "Doc, how's my son?"
Dr. Kendrick smiles. "Lincoln's gonna be fine…." The group all sigh in relief, but then Dr. Kendrick has a saddened expression, and this does not make Luna or the others happy. "But, he took so much hits, that we don't know if he'll wake up. Luna Loud, your son Lincoln is in a coma."
Hearing that shatters everything inside of her mind, her son that she swore to keep safe from last year's court conflict is now badly wounded and in a coma, after the turmoil he had to endure from the other day. Everything around her was falling apart, and she feels woozy and is about to collapse.
But Sam helps her. "Easy Lunes." She has tears in her eyes and is also shocked to hear this. Everyone else is as well and Jordan begins to shed tears, the boy she's dating is in a coma.
The others are angered, confused, scared and in fear, saddened at this outcome. Albert feels like going after this man and beating the living snot out of him, and Harriet is truly angered by this knowledge and is hoping that when the cops do find this man, she'd get the chance to torment him.
Mazzy then asks. "There's no other way you guys can wake him up?!"
Dr. Kendrick sighs. "Sadly no. We wish we could, but that would mean we might cause damage to his head. We managed to repair some damages to his head and all thanks to the FutureTech equipment too, and we nearly lost him. He also had tons of damage inflicted to him all over his body."
"Broken ribs, and his spine was nearly damaged to the point of nearly losing his ability to walk. He also had a puncture in his lung because of the tree branch, he suffered so much damage to his legs and hands and a dislocated arm, but we were able to patch up everything."
"Also, he lost some blood, and thanks to the blood donations from Luna, and also from Sam, he was able to regain some through the transfusion and he'll live, but like I said we don't know when he's gonna wake up and we don't know if there's still any other damages within his mind."
"He took a lot of hits and managed to stay alive and keep himself sustained, he's strong and he didn't seem like giving up just yet. He's doing fine, he's stable but the coma is the one thing blocking him from trying to regain himself. Once he's awake, we need to keep him in the hospital to see any more signs of damage."
Luna snaps out of it and looks to the doctor. "Can I see him?"
Dr. Kendrick nods. "Go ahead, but be careful. He's still recovering." He steps aside and Luna, Sam and Jordan are let in and they go to see the boy and are shocked at the state he's in.
He had a lot of casts and bandage wrappings, mostly his head. The kid looked like he got out from one intense car crash, with an 18-wheeler semi-truck, and he manage to survive and look like what he is now.
Luna walks towards her son, slowly and nervously and she sits and looks to her son, the face that took a beating and won't wake up for who knows how long.
Luna sheds some tears. "Lincoln… My boy, no…. Please, no." She breaks down onto the ground and cries, Sam hugs her and does the same and Jordan as well. Michelle and Delilah join them too.
The others see this and cover their mouths and are horrified at the state he was in. He has been through so many scraps, but this one seems far more horrible than the one with Chandler.
The teens didn't know what to think and they just shed tears and cry at this and the same goes for the rest of Lincoln's pals, and the former family members. Lisa didn't know what else to say, she wants to help, but she just doesn't know how.
The twins hug Lucy, and the Goth whispers to herself, as she cries, as if she's praying and Harriet goes down and hugs them both, also feeling the heaviness of this outcome, though Albert is both saddened and angered.
Mick Swagger is shocked beyond belief at the state of the kid, he was beaten to near death and yet here he is, recovering and trying to heal. He feels bad and is impressed, the boy is more resilient when trouble comes, as he is with singing as good as Luna. 'Maybe I can help with the coverage to his bills.'
But Katie Crest pretends to feel bad at what had happened, she is really ticked off. 'Well, well. He looks like a mess, and recovering, maybe when the time is right, I'll do this myself. Something that moronic fool Jak couldn't do!'
Luna and Sam continue to cry, and the folks all go over to comfort them, but then they hear someone speak. "Guys." They all turn around and see StoneHeart and Merris, they look concerned and have a stern look.
Rick then speaks. "Guys, I don't think this is the moment to…"
"No…" Luna gets up and she looks to her son, and she doesn't look to the others, and same with Sam. "Let them speak…. What is it?"
The detectives look to each other and nod, and then they look to Luna. "We know who the attacker is."
This shocks them and even Katie Crest, she can tell that this is bad, for her associate. 'No!'
Luna asks, with a voice sounding like poison. "Who is it?"
StoneHeart begins with the file he has. "This is from the FBI, and this man has been on the list for so long and manages to evade the law. His name, is Jack Dillinger Heron Sr. The father to a boy who is close to the same age as your son, a man who has lost his mind."
Merris then continues for him. "A 69-year old man, responsible for nearly murdering his own family when his mind snapped, and he worked as a critic till he went delusional and insane to take down those he deems not good for criticism and teaching them to improve."
StoneHeart reads the files. "He's been dubbed crazy for the past 10 years and hasn't been caught, yet. He was last reported when his wife called the cops and he fled, and nearly killed his wife and child, he was last seen many times in the country, all 50 states. Each one reported with crimes of murder."
"The man is hired to check on a business, and then criticized the local place, and if that they don't improve then he attacks with no mercy, tormenting the folks who run the place with painful methods, and then finishes them off, the ones who hire him are rival competition and we can name tons of them."
Merris then reads the file she has. "Every single person Jack has been called by are top notch companies and businesses and all have been at the top of the game in the country because of his acts. This man, the 69-year old Jak has been turned into a ruthless critic/bounty hunter, or assassin for hire, a crazy one."
"FBI have been trying to find him, but he's always disappearing and when he does so, he always does so after he's done the job. The man has a record of killing more than 1,069 people, and half of them are kids with talent, which is why he's always hired for ruthless attacks and possible rape to some young folks."
StoneHeart then speaks. "Because Lincoln is still alive, chances he might not have left the state yet. He hasn't finished the job, and he will be back. He's never had a person or kid walk away free from his attack before he kills them. So, we made some calls and the manhunt is underway."
Merris speaks. "FBI and the National Guard are now on the hunt, because your son survived they are taking advantage of this to hunt him down before he skips the state. We wanna know if you're…."
"This is fine" replied Luna. She then places a hand on her son's cheek. "As long as he's still here, he won't hurt others and then he can be taken down, before he does anything else."
Sam looks to the detectives. "Do they plan to arrest the man?" The others look to the cops for any answers to that, because they don't want this man to walk away and live for what he did.
The detectives knew they would ask. "They made the call, and also FutureTech is sending in forces and someone from their division has been sent here to assist and the call has been made. We're told to shoot on sight, take him down and don't arrest. He's been dubbed extremely dangerous and demented in the head" said Merris.
"So, the teams on the hunt are gonna find this man and put him down, for good" said StoneHeart. "Were gonna be leading a team too, and we believe that his vehicle has been sighted and has been evading cops for some time, he came to the state two days ago."
"And if we find this man, then chances we'll find clues as to who hired him for this attack onto your son. Because he wouldn't have targeted him randomly, this was a hired assassination" said Merris.
Luna doesn't respond, but deep down Luna is glad that this man is gonna be….
"They wanna know if you wanna be involved with this." replied Merris.
Luna is shocked to hear this and so are the others. StoneHeart then speaks. "FutureTech has some forces on standby and they want you to lead them, a special team to hunt down the bastard who did this. They don't want another person to go through this hell, and not make it."
"We have forces defending the hospital" said Merris. "We understand if you don't wanna…."
Luna gets up, she kisses her son's cheek and whispers. "Lincoln, everything is gonna be okay. He won't harm you anymore and I'm gonna make sure that promise stays, and I'm gonna make sure that man doesn't come back…. I love you, my son."
Luna then looks towards Sam. "Stay here and watch over him, even with this place fortified and junk. We can't let anyone…."
Sam kisses her and hugs her. "I know and I will do this, just… Make that man suffer for what he did, and then find out who hired him and make them pay for hurting our boy."
Luna smiles and she kisses her too and returns the hug. They soon depart from the embrace and Luna looks to the detectives.
"Alright guys. Let's go and hunt this bastard down." The detectives leave the room, and the others all look to Luna and nod, they too are in agreement and chances the whole town is. Michelle also follows, she's not letting Luna do this thing alone.
As they all walk out, Mick Swagger goes to Luna. "Lunes, listen I know this has been a rough time and the whole meeting with you was…."
"Shut the hell up." The rocker is shocked she would say that. Luna stops walking but doesn't look to the man or the manager. "Get the hell out of this place, get the hell out of this town and get the hell away from me, and my son."
Mick then speaks. "Luna, let me help pay for the…"
"I don't need your charity. None of this would've happened if you hadn't showed up, and a part of me is thinking that this whole thing might have something to do with you and the bitch by you side."
This shocks Mick and Katie, but this puts concern inside of Katie Crest. 'Damn it!'
The two detectives and Michelle notice this and are thinking of putting the pieces of the puzzle together. "Luna, I wouldn't want your boy to get hurt, you have to…."
Luna looks to StoneHeart. "Make sure some guys come here and escort them out of town, I don't want them anywhere near this place until further notice."
StoneHeart nods and makes the call and soon two Heavily Armoured Peacekeepers show up and look to the two musical tour folks. "Sir, ma'am. Please follow us."
Mick Swagger and Katie Crest accept this and follow the guards, Katie Crest then realizes how bad this was gonna go down. 'No, no. No! This was not supposed to go down! Now o can't kill the kid, and soon that idiot Jak is gonna be the reason why they're gonna come after me! I need to do something and fast!'
Meanwhile Luna goes into her car and she follows the cops, and the detectives and Michelle is with her. The duo then see some FutureTech vehicles, but they don't look like FutureTech. They look advanced, like space based soldier advanced.
Luna calms down and drives carefully as they head to the Allied Outpost. 'Hang on Linc, I'm gonna get this guy and then I'm coming back for ya. That's a promise I am not gonna break!'
