The time has come and now it's back for another round and now we can see how things have been since the whole incident from April 19, and to see what surprise is in store for the mother of her brother, and so enjoy reading this and prepare for anything unexpected.
Family of Two.
Chapter 243: Many days later.
(April 30. The Loud House.)
The morning dawns once more and now we see the mother of the boy who she once saw as her brother is awake and walking out of her room, she's feeling fine and groovy and she ain't gonna let bad vibes ruin this day that she is looking forward too and that teen's name is Luna Loud.
Luna's attire: A white t-shirt underneath a purple jacket with orange colored sleeves, black fingerless gloves, black jeans with a white belt that has an orange bunny emblem on the buckle, and her signature purple boots.
Luna heads down the stairs and she goes to the dining room and she sees the others are awake, Michelle, Delilah and Great Grandma Harriet, and breakfast has been made. "Good morning, dudes."
"Good morning Luna" said Michelle. She hands her a plate of bacon and eggs with waffles. "So, any plans for after school?"
Luna sits down and she eats her food. "Yeah, I do have plans after school. Gonna go to the park and chill out with Sam, and then the two of us are gonna go and… We're gonna go and see how my son is doing."
They all saw this one coming. After the whole ordeal from April 19, Luna has been always visiting her unconscious son after a day of school or spend the whole weekend with him and wait for him to wake up, she's still heartbroken that he's unaware of what's going on and not coming back to them.
But that wouldn't stop Luna Loud from enjoying her life with her friends and family and sure to hell she's not gonna let anyone go anywhere near her son, unless those are friends and family. The hospital Lincoln is in has been on guard 24/7 and they won't leave until he has awaken.
Even after the attack from the vile snake who is dead, Jak. The whole town is still wary about the one who sent that monster to kill Lincoln, the hunt continues and they ended up taking down a lot of people who Jak is alliance with and those folks are going to be locked up forever.
Luna is still super ticked off they didn't find the real person who wanted her son dead, but what matters is that her kid is okay and alive, and that Jak is gone for good, and one day they will get the dirt bag who wanted Lincoln Loud dead.
Delilah then speaks. "Well, mom and I plan to do the same too, after school and work and Harriet is gonna tag along too. That sounds cool with you, right Lunes?"
Luna nods. "Of course dude, we're all family and I know Lincoln would be happy to see you guys." They all continue to eat they're breakfast and they begin to talk about the incoming mail from the rest of the family who were all once Loud.
The Louds were all informed of this, and are saddened for Lincoln not waking up, but they will not lose hope and they know he will wake up soon.
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luna walks down the halls of the school and she greets the rest of the students and they greet her back, she then goes to her locker and checks on what she needs for the day.
Luna closes her locker and she's greeted by someone she knows and loves, her girlfriend Sam Sharp. "Hey Sam, you ready for what we got to do after classes?"
Sam nods. "As I'll ever be." She then notices something. "We got friendlies, Lunes."
The duo see Sully and Mazzy go to them. "Hey Luna, hi Sam" said Mazzy.
Then Sully asks. "So, any more annoying words from Crest lately?"
Luna and Sam recall what he means, after what happened to Lincoln, that woman known as Katie Crest has been an annoying pest to them and hasn't stopped calling since, and even Mick Swagger joined in to help Luna cope with her son being in the coma.
But the band keeps telling them to leave them alone and shut up, but no matter how many times they do so, Katie Crest always calls back to make the changes to the rules and that's where Luna reaches the boiling point and she had some backup from the Allied outpost.
They gathered a lot of forces and through some talks with Merris and StoneHeart they had a private chat with Katie Crest and Mick Swagger, and at the hotel too.
They gave those two so many warnings to stop calling them and to leave them alone, but no. So, the best option now was to make Katie Crest and Mick Swagger have a choice, to leave Luna Loud and everyone else alone and never come back to Royal Woods until Luna says so.
Or, Luna Loud and the band don't cooperate and don't become part of the tour and they have Katie Crest and Mick Swagger put on the restraining order and that they call possibly the most dangerous lawyer alive, and he's not from this world.
Seeing no option, Katie Crest and Mick Swagger pack up and leave, and the numbers that they have of the band and Luna have been removed and they have been banned from making any more calls to them within the range of Michigan, which really angers Katie Crest.
Luna still recalls the day she had those two leave town, and she has no regrets for doing all of it. Luna and her friends hear the school bell ring. "Well, time for class dudes" said Mazzy.
The teens head down the halls to their first period, and while they walk, Luna looks to the necklace that her son made last year on her birthday and seeing this makes her smile. 'Just hang in there kiddo. I know you'll wake up soon and then we can be a family once again.'
Sam notices this and she smiles, and yet feels bad for Luna. 'Still hard to get over her son not being here, but Lincoln will be back soon and when he does, then everything goes back to… Wait, the month of May is when he has that trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes Camping grounds!'
Now that is something they can discuss for next time.
(Ketcham Park.)
We now see Luna Loud at the park and with her is Sam Sharp and the duo walk around and talk about what happened the other day with her brother Brian Sharp's 17th Birthday and how fun it was to see him so happy for being 17, and older than Sam, sort of.
The duo then watch as the rest of the park is alive with folks they know who are having fun. Lisa and Darcy are playing by the swings, Lola and Lana are playing with Lily in the sand box with their mom's watching over them and then we see Lucy is talking to Haiku by the pond.
To Luna, this feels like old times. She then takes a seat at the same tree where she and her son would sit and so she looks onto the sky as the clouds fly on by. Sam notices this and sits next to her and she too relaxes with the peaceful nature of the park.
Luna sighs. "Sure is nice and peaceful, something Lincoln would've truly loved."
Sam nods. "Yeah, he would. Lincoln always loved it when he would spend time with either of us and then we retreat to this very same tree where we always find peace and solitude in each other's company."
"As if we're already a happy family, two moms and one kid" said Luna. She then wipes away a tear. "Sure would love to see our kiddo here with us and enjoying this moment."
Sam notices this and she too shares the same sadness as Luna. Sam then embraces her girlfriend and Luna does the same. "Lunes, Lincoln is not gone. He's still here, just not waking up, and he will soon. Maybe not tomorrow, or the day after that, or even next week. But he will, soon. Just be patient and have hope, Luna."
Luna nods, and wipes away her tears. "Yeah, Lincoln will come back and everything will go back to the way things were." Luna wipes away her tears and looks towards Sam. The two share a small kiss.
Sam then asks. "So, you wanna go and see how our boy is doing?"
Luna nods. "Yeah, we should…." Luna then gets a text from someone, and that someone is Dr. Kendrick and she reads it and is shocked. "Lincoln?" she then grabs Sam's hand and she leads her out of the park, though Sam is confused.
"Lunes, what the heck are you doing? Slow down!"
"No time Sammy!" Luna then opens the door to her car and she goes in and so does Sam. "Our kid is awake." Sam is surprised and they speed away to the Royal Woods Hospital, but they didn't know that Katherine Mulligan has overheard this and she gets in her news van and they drive off to see what has happened.
(Royal Woods General Hospital.)
The purple Ferrari has made a screeching halt and then the red Ferrari from Michelle Lewis has arrived and coming out are Michelle Lewis, Delilah and Harriet and they follow Luna and Sam towards the building.
They pass by many other people going down the halls, but Luna is faster and she looks for the room where her son is, and she passes by Dr. Kendrick and so do the others, the man notices this. "Wait! Luna, everyone, stop!" the Doctor goes after them.
Luna goes through the doors she goes by and she sees the one door where her son is. 'Hang on, baby. Momma's coming!' Luna opens the door, and she sees him.
Lincoln Loud, finished drinking his can of soda and he looks around the place, he then looks towards Luna and she smiles. Luna also smiles and has tears of joy and she goes over and she hugs him and cries.
"Lincoln, oh my boy, Linc, you're awake and I missed you son…. So, so much!"
Lincoln smiles and hugs her back, and looks confused, but he accepts this embrace. "I missed you too." He then sees Sam join into this hug, and then Michelle, Delilah and Harriet come in, but then the ghost stops and realizes something.
'Wait a minute. Something's wrong.'
Luna then departs from the hug and so does Sam. "We're so glad you're back with us again Linc, now we can be a family again. I love you so much, kiddo." She then kisses her son's forehead and this makes Lincoln chuckles and blush with embarrassment.
"Okay, okay. But, there is something I need to know, Luna."
This confuses them and Luna. He hasn't called her by her name in a long time, since last year and so Luna asks. "What is it Lincoln? Is everything okay kiddo?"
Lincoln sighs and asks. "Luna, why did you call me your son? Also, where are the others? Where are mom and dad? What the heck happened to me?" He then looks to the others. "Also, who the heck are they and why is there a ghost that looks like Lucy?!"
Lincoln then looks to Luna who is stunned and speechless. "Luna, what the heck is going on?"
Sam is teary eyed and she covers her mouth. "No… No, no. No."
Michelle is also surprised and so is Delilah and Harriet sighs. "He… He doesn't remember us, he lost his memories of the Lincoln we know!"
Seeing and hearing all of this was too much for Luna. "No, I just… Linc, you…" she then feels light headed and she passes out, this has everyone shocked and they go over and check on her.
Dr. Kendrick walks in and sees this. "God dang it." He then sees Lincoln who is awake, confused and concerned. "Lincoln, you have a lot to cover up on what the heck is going on."
A/N: Dang, it feel good to be typing this story again. Gave it a long while to rest and do nothing, and now that I am back, things turned bad real fast and now they need to figure out how to fix this. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
