So the recent chapter is not going so well, and not the kind of comeback you guys had in store from the long awaited delay of this story, so now it's time to try and figure out how to deal with a memory lost Loud, and they don't know how he'll react with the truth. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 244: The lost thoughts.
(May 1, Royal Woods General Hospital.)
Luna Loud, the teen rocker and mother to her former brother is in the waiting room outside of the room where her son is and she's talking with Dr. Kendrick.
"There's nothing else we can do to help him recall the memories he had with you, but perhaps some small talks and showing him some stuff that he knows about could jog back his memory. The one thing I do fear is his mind resetting, after the hits he took, we're not sure how much damage was fully done."
"FutureTech scanners showed that his nervous system is slightly damaged and would take time to heal. The results of what he went through is what sparked the whole ordeal we see now, so try not to be too much for him, and just take a few steps so that he might be able to recap some lost memories with you."
Luna nods and wipes away some tears. "Y-Yeah, thanks doc."
Dr. Kendrick then leaves Luna be so he could deal with another patient. Luna then thinks about the damage that was done. 'All of this. This whole thing started because of that bastard who tried to kill my boy! The person who wanted him dead! I want them to keep finding out who wanted my son dead!'
'That person is gonna pay, and I'll be the one to collect the debt when this shit is all over!' Luna then calms down and she gets up from her seat, she then opens the door of the hospital room and she sees Lincoln all dressed in the clothing he wore long ago.
Seeing him in that clothing was not making her have the good vibes, so Luna walks in and Lincoln sees her and smiles. "Hi, Luna. Well, I'm ready to go home now, well the home that I should've seen coming."
Luna nods. "Yeah, the new house."
She recalls that the other day, Luna along with the others told him what happened, the truth about what he went through after the whole bad luck ordeal. The memories that he bears now are what takes place before the crisis of the bad luck scenario.
That means he has no memory of the torment he went through when he was in the squirrel suit, no memory of the trial they had to face, the family they said goodbye to, the friends they had to confront about, the new family, the love life, the adventures, the good moments and the bad moments.
But most of all, he has no memory of Luna being legally his mother, and that hurts Luna so much in her heart, it's almost like someone destroyed her vision of reality and that the best moments she had have been vaporized and unable to be repaired.
Luna then goes towards her son. "Linc, are you feeling alright?"
Lincoln has an unsure look. "I'm not so sure, I mean… The whole incident with me nearly getting killed, now that's dark and to the fact that the family is…. Well, not the same, and the life we have now is something I don't think I'll ever believe."
Luna sighs. "This isn't an easy thing for both of us and… And I nearly lost you, so many times and now… This feels like I did, and I don't know when the hell am I getting you back." Luna sheds some tears, but she wipes them away.
Lincoln could tell that this is eating her mind and heart, and so he goes over and hugs her. "Luna, I'm sorry this is happening and I wish I could regain the lost memories I had from before this happened, but I don't know what to do and I don't even know how we can fix this."
"But, I'll try and adapt so maybe my memories will come back and then things will be back to normal."
The duo depart from the hug and Luna looks towards her son, she places a kiss on her forehead, which surprises Lincoln, but he feels calm and looks towards Luna and smiles. "Well, we should get going now, Linc."
Lincoln nods. "Alright…. Mom, still gonna have to get used to that."
Luna smiles, but she feels sad inside. She then offers him her hand and he holds her hand and Luna guides him out of the room and they walk down the halls of the building, and they reach outside of the hospital and Lincoln is surprised by what he sees.
"What the heck?" Lincoln sees the purple Ferrari that Luna owns.
Luna smirks at his reaction. "Come on Linc, into the family car." She and Lincoln go towards the ride and they get to the front seats.
Lincoln is still surprised to be inside of a fast and beautiful car that Luna owns. 'This is a lot to take in, and so much more to come as well. But, I'm in a relationship with Girl Jordan?! Wow!'
(The Loud House.)
The duo arrive back home, and but before they head out of the car, Luna looks towards Lincoln. "Linc, when we get inside, the rest of the family isn't there. Just Michelle, Delilah, Harriet, and some others we know and trust."
"I informed the others, and they were told to back off so we could help you, and make sure nothing else turns into a spiraling void of chaos. Alright kiddo?"
Lincoln nods. "Still hard to believe that this is the future that I have now. Not much of a family, new family, redeeming family and a future with my sister who is now my mom, a lot to take in and so much to catch up on." He then looks away. "Sorry I was in the coma."
Luna pulls him into a hug. "That wasn't your fault, that madman did that to you, and would've killed you for sure, thank goodness there were friends nearby who came to your aid and now things are… Well, we're all healing."
Lincoln hugs her back, and the duo stay like this until Lincoln departs and looks towards his sister now mother. "We should go inside and see the others, I need to get used to this new life… Mom."
It hurts for Luna to hear him take a moment to call her mom, but she knows he's trying to adapt and trying to see what else he missed, and what else he needs to recap. They both get out of the car and Lincoln looks onto the house.
"Wow. Not so messy anymore, and is that a red Ferrari?" He sees the other car neighboring Luna's.
"Right, that was is from you're Auntie Michelle" replied Luna. "Now come on, they're all waiting inside."
The duo then enter the house, and right there by the stairs are those they have come to know as closest friends, loved ones and family. Michelle, Delilah, Sam, Jordan and Harriet.
Lincoln is surprised to see some of them, mostly the ghost and then he recalls that incident he was told about, from the TV show he used to love watching known as: ARGGH!
Lincoln nervously greets towards them. "Hello, everyone."
Jordan is the first one to go towards Lincoln and she hugs him, the white haired boy blushes and he feels a rush of blood inside of him as this girl hugs him and he feels very warm. He then slowly wraps his arms around her. "Girl…. I mean, Jordan. I really wish I remembered the moments we had, but I don't."
Jordan has some tears, but she continues the hug. "I know, I know. But, we'll get through this, and when the time is right, then you and I can be the couple we were meant to be… Gosh darn it, I missed you."
Lincoln smiles, but then he's caught off guard when she places a kiss to his cheek. She then departs from the hug and Lincoln looks to the upset face of the girl he sees as his classmate, who is actually the one he's dating.
Lincoln then sees Sam go towards him, she kneels down and looks to the features of the boy. "This is painful for me, to see that you don't see me as your second mother figure, I'm so sorry Linky." She then embraces the boy.
Lincoln is surprised that Sam is hugging him, he's never had her do this to him before, and he feels bad for her. "Me too, Sam. But we'll try and pill through and maybe then I can see you as a mother, like Luna."
Michelle and Delilah are next, though Delilah is nervous and doesn't go to him and this concerns Lincoln. "Is she okay?"
Michelle sighs. "She thinks that you'd be afraid of remembering the Delilah who helped attack you, and she also fears of you not remembering the nice times you had with her. You two bonded like cousins and it was nice."
Michelle then hugs Lincoln. "I'm sorry this is happening, I'm sorry you got hurt and don't remember anything, I'm sorry that this happened to you. I just wish we could…"
"It's gonna be okay." Lincoln and Michelle depart from the hug. "We'll pull through, together and then I'll regain my memories back."
Michelle nods, then she lets Harriet go towards him and seeing the ghost was now scaring Lincoln. Seeing this makes her back away. "Sorry, I didn't think you'd be scared of me, but now you are. I wish I knew what was happening, and perhaps you wouldn't have to lose your good memories of all of us."
Lincoln summons enough courage to speak to this apparition. "Umm, it's okay Great Grandma Harriet, we'll all find a way to help me with this, and I'll try to interact with you more."
This makes Harriet less pleased, and so she walks away from them. "Enjoy the cake everyone." She then walks up the stairs and to her room and she closes it.
Lincoln was now feeling bad for what had happened. "Is she gonna be okay?"
Luna goes over and she puts her two hands on his shoulders. "Linc, we're all having it hard with you and this memory loss, and we're all trying our best. But not all of us can be so easy to get over some of this madness, such as myself and the others around you."
Lincoln understands and he sees the upset looks from Jordan and Delilah, and even Sam and Michelle were not looking to good with the state he is in. 'we're gonna have a long way to go. I just wish I didn't suffer from this memory loss.'
Luna then pulls Lincoln into a hug, and then the others join in and this makes Lincoln smile, he feels like this is right, which is a perfect first step to regaining what has lost.
(Night Time.)
Luna finishes using the restroom and she's now in her night wear. She then thinks about what to do next to help Lincoln regain the memories of the boy she sees as her son.
Lincoln is sitting at the lower bunk of the bed and he looks to the comics he made, the Ace Savvy and the Night Club comics and he is impressed and also very much confused. Luna goes over and she sits next to them.
"I honestly couldn't believe I made these, and they became one epic hit and is selling. I mean, I made the Full House Gang, but to make this is like a total opposite of me. But that's just how I'm coping with the loss of so much and it makes sense."
Luna then gets the comics from him and she makes Lincoln look to her, when the boy looks towards Luna he has this odd sense of seeing someone who was there to try her best to help him.
"Lincoln, listen to me. You may have forgotten the memories of who we are and what we're meant to be now, but that doesn't mean that we're not family, and we are still family and you are my son and nothing in this world is going to change that."
"We've been through so much, and we nearly ended up in tight situations that would've gotten us in bad shape or worse, and yet we managed to pull through and continue the amazing life we have now, a Family of Two. The very same family life we started, last year."
"Myself with the others are gonna be there to help you regain what you lost and we're gonna do whatever we can to help you if you got some problems with trying to get to know the whole issue at hand, I promise you that sweet child of mine."
Lincoln nods. "And I'll do whatever I can to try and be the son you had, and reclaim the memories of the life we have, let them be the good ones or the bad ones."
Luna smiles and she places a kiss on his forehead. "That's my boy. Now come on, we should get some sleep now. Tomorrow is when you're gonna spend some time with someone very special."
But just as Lincoln is about to lay down, he stops. "Lunes, I think this is supposed to be what we do some times, but is it cool if I bunk with you?"
Luna is surprised to hear this, but she smiles. "Alright, kiddo. Come on."
Lincoln gets out of bed, and he decides to bring the Polar Bear plush with him, and he follows Luna to her top of the bunk.
Lincoln lays down, and so does Luna, she then pulls the blanket onto them and the duo look to each other. They both take a good look at one another, as Luna looks at everything that is her son and Lincoln looks at the person who was once his sister and now his mother.
Lincoln then scooches closer and hugs Luna, as he closes his eyes. "Good night Luna, I love you."
Luna smiles and she places a kiss on his forehead and she too closes her eyes. "Goodnight, Lincoln. I love you, son." Deep down, she's afraid of what worse things might come, she has to make sure he's safe and that his memories might come back.
A/N: First steps to trying to get used to everything, so on each day he's gonna spend some time with those he has seen as his closest allies and loved ones, and even family, this is not an easy ride, but he'll manage. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
