So, Michelle did her part and she helped Lincoln regain the good memories she had with him, and now it's time for Lincoln to try and reunite what was shattered with the cousin he came to share a bond with, Delilah Lewis Loud, Enjoy readying this guys.

Family of Two.

Chapter 248: The cousin adopted.

(Mat 5, the Loud House.)

Right now we go to the house of the new Loud family, and we see the adopted daughter of Michelle Lewis. Delilah Lewis Loud, and she is at her room and going through some stuff in her room.

She's been having trouble, and that trouble is her cousin Lincoln, and his lack of memories of the life he has now, and that hurts her a lot. She fears of him regaining the memories that were terrible, the memories that were dark and bad and had her involvement in one of them.

Delilah wants to speak to Lincoln, but seeing the face of someone who doesn't know her scares her thoughts and she doesn't know what to do and this scares her, very much, and then she recalls something, something that her mother told her last night.

Michelle. "Delilah, I get that this is a hard time for you to understand, but you know you can't just stray away from him. It's only a matter of time before you have to talk to him and see how he feels and if there's anything he will remember."

"Sure he will recall the bad moments he had when he first met you, last year. But he would then have the memories of the Lincoln Loud who saw the saw redemption for you, the Lincoln Loud you see as your cousin and the one you care for and see as family."

"We're all gonna be going to somewhere tomorrow after school, and that place is where you and Lincoln could be able to reignite some spark within the bonds you had, and perhaps the rekindling family love as well. You two have had some fun times and they were moments even I and Luna treasure."

"It almost looked like you were both siblings, and that's a good thing to have as a feeling."

Delilah sighs, and thinks about what her mom told her. "Mom is right, I can't just sit here and wait for him to regain the memories, and that one could be a long, long time. I wanna help him regain what he lost, and that's gonna be today."

She then looks to the picture of herself with Lincoln fast asleep on the couch after watching their favorite game show and this makes her smile. "I promise you cousin, we will help you get back what you lost and then we can be family again."

Then Delilah hears someone calling her, Michelle. "Delilah, we're gonna head out now. Come on sweetie."

Delilah gets out of bed. "Alright, coming mom." She brings with her, her bag and whatever else she needs, and then she recalls the day they were attacked by the boy who raped her mother and so she brings with her a taser. "I am not letting anything bad happen to us again."

Delilah then leaves the bedroom and gets ready for what this day has for her.

(Royal Dawn.)

The two vehicles arrive and coming out are those who have come to check out the place. Michelle, Delilah, Luna and Lincoln, and oh boy, Lincoln is surprised by what he sees.

Right in front of Lincoln is the large mansion, the mansion that belongs to Michelle Lewis Loud, and he is astonished by this. "Whoa! So this is your house?"

"My house, yes" said Michelle. "Our home, soon to be when the old tenants of the Loud House come back." She then has the keys to the place and she turns off the security of the mansion.

Lincoln looks towards Luna. "Is that true?"

Luna nods, and they follow Michelle. "That's the plan, even though it seems like your girlfriend's mom and pops wants us to reside in their home, but with the presence of the Lewis Loud Mansion, we can now take refuge in here instead and within the new neighborhood, Royal Dawn."

"It's a lot to take in kiddo, and it's hard to try and comprehend. But we talked about this long ago, back when this big place ended up in Royal Woods, and once you got the lost memories back, then it'll become clear, the real issue we have is going from school and then back here."

Lincoln is surprised by all of this. 'Wow. The life I has now sure is wicked awesome, and also unexpected. I wonder what else this mansion has in store, and it seems big enough for more than two families, and… Wait, when are we going to move here again?'

They all walk into the mansion, and they begin to check if everything in the mansion is doing okay, but for Lincoln, this feels like the first time and he tours the mansion and what it has.

Heck, even to Luna and Delilah it feels like they've seen this for the first time again.

(Moments Later.)

Now we see Delilah sitting in the backyard of the mansion and near the pool that has no water, not yet that is and she thinks about what to do to talk to Lincoln.

Delilah then goes through some notes. 'Dang it. What the heck do I do to help Lincoln get back his memories, without even letting him feel bad about the moments it all went from bad to worse?'

As Delilah continues to think about her plan, she doesn't even know that someone has left the mansion and is walking towards her. "Hey, this seat taken?"

Delilah looks to her left and she sees that it's her cousin, her cousin who has yet to regain all of his memories, Lincoln Loud. "Hi, Delilah. Cool if I sit here next to you?"

Delilah is nervous, but she calms down and replies. "Y-Yeah, sure go ahead."

Lincoln smiles and sits next to her. The two remain silent, and this become awkward for both parties, and so Lincoln talks. "Delilah, I wish I did recall what we did back then and mom told me that we met on some bad terms, is that true?"

Delilah didn't respond, and she just remained silent and she looks towards nothing.

Lincoln knows what something is going on in her mind. "Delilah, I'm sorry I mentioned that. I just… I never thought that I would have a cousin, and that…. Never mind."

Then Delilah hugs him and she begins to cry. "Lincoln, I am so, so sorry for everything you went through! I am so sorry that I was the cause of you nearly getting scarred and I am sorry that I wasn't there to help you."

"I wish I could just take back everything I did, everything I committed and what I did to you, Luna and Lori. I didn't know what I was doing, I was so angry and they took advantage of me, I wish I never had met Sasha Alabaman and I wish I was never even sent to that juvie in Royal Woods!"

Delilah runs her hand through his hair and she hugs him tightly. "I always wished…. That maybe I was…. That I was better off dead, for what I did."

That made Lincoln go wide eyed and then he stars blankly at nothing, and soon he begins to slowly wrap his arms around Delilah and this alarms the girl and look to the boy. "L-Lincoln?"

Lincoln begins to shed some tears and cry into her chest, and seeing this hurts Delilah and so she hugs him back.

"D-Delilah…. Don't say that, please don't say that. I don't wanna watch you suffer… I don't wanna see you die. You're family, always."

Hearing those words, has Delilah confused, but feeling this kid hug her tightly and show how much he cares for her as she has since they became family has her realizing. "Lincoln? A-Are you okay?"

Lincoln slowly departs from the hug and has tears. "I have never felt any better, because even with the bad time we had when we met, I would never let that overwhelm me, because the good memories and moments we have will always keep me happy."

"Delilah, you were alone and scared and then angry and confused and that was the Delilah who had no options, but here you are now, in our family and no more the name of Silver. You are Delilah Lewis Loud, and you are my cousin and I love you so much."

Delilah is now seeing, that Lincoln is back and all it took was an emotional moment between two cousins from different families. "Lincoln, I love you too. So, much!" Delilah embraces her cousin and Lincoln returns the embrace.

Seeing this makes two figures smile, from the balcony watching over them are Luna and Michelle and they can tell that Lincoln now has the memories of his cousin once more.

Michelle then looks to Luna. "Do you know what to do when it's your turn?"

Luna sighs. "Sorta, I have this plan, but I'm not so sure about if it'll work or not. The real ordeal is seeing if he will recall the memories we have had for so long and it scares me to see him not seeing me as his mom, and yet he's trying to get used to all of it."

"I mean, every morning I see him wake up and look to me as if I'm his sister, and not his mom. But, I know he's trying and even he wants to regain what is lost, and so does everyone else… Even those who we were once related to as a family."

"Did Lori ask if she could see him?" asked Michelle.

"Not yet, well she hasn't even called, she knows but it seems like she doesn't wanna intervene and let things roll" replied Luna. "It's nice of her to do this and let me and the rest of us deal with Lincoln and his memories, but it makes me feel bad for not letting the rest of the former family into helping."

Michelle places a hand onto Luna's shoulder. "Lunes, the reason why they do that is because they know that you and Lincoln have been family for some time, and that you two have been happy together after the whole verdict that caused the shattering of the family we see now."

"They know what we all have to do, and they know that it's the right thing and it shows that they do care, I mean why else would they send letters to ask how things have been doing and how Lincoln has been trying to regain what he lost?"

"Don't see this as something to be guilt ridden over, see this as a chance and plan that everyone is on your side and doing their part to watch and wait for when he regains what he lost, because this change is necessary and the future is something everyone wants to see, let them be Loud or not."

Luna smiles hearing that. "Yeah, I guess you're right." She now has confidence inside of her. 'Hang tight baby, when the time comes then it'll be you and me and I'll do what I can to help you regain what you have lost kiddo.'

'I'm your mother Lincoln, and as you're mom I will not let you down and I will continue the promise I told you long ago.'

A/N: Looks like Lincoln and Delilah are back together once more, and the next one will involve the being who they truly have seen as family, and we know who that one is, and of course we have Luna Loud, the best for last. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
