Chapter 249: The Specter of the House.

(May 6, the Loud House.)

Daytime is up and now everyone in the house is ready for the day, and now we see Luna Loud, along with Michelle and Harriet finished making breakfast, and they setup the table for all of them.

Michelle looks towards Luna. "So, tomorrow is the moment for you to setup a day to hang out with you son, right?"

Luna nods. "I am, and I just hope that the plan I made will work. I really want him to recall me and what we have been through, but not the bad times. The good times, the moments where we would bond and share so much good when together."

"Lincoln means so much to me, and I don't want him to struggle in this life he had no clue about, the memories he lost are still there and as Lisa mentioned to me the other day, that it takes time for Lincoln to reclaim what he lost, and sometimes it takes some point where the moment is recognizable."

"I watched as the rest of you guys went along with the plan of bonding with him to regain what he lost. Jordan at the park and spending some alone time, which reminds him of the dates he went with her. For Sam it was the recognizable kindness and emotions she shares similar to mine."

"Michelle with her mall tactics and the day she saved us from those two stinkers, which when that robber came it sparked the memory from when we first met you, and then we have Delilah and her distress of guilt that was the old memories of which Lincoln could redeem."

They think about this, and it does make sense, but the rest of his memories are yet to be fully made and brought back, then they look to Harriet. "Now for you, Harriet" said Michelle. "We have yet to see and hear about…"

"That one might not be needed, since it's already done."

This shocks them. "Wait what?"

Then coming down the stairs are Lincoln and Delilah and the duo are both talking about something that's trending in town soon. "So, if I do get some of these cards and pull of a rare card, that'll be worth a lot, right?" asked Lincoln.

"Technically, yeah" said Delilah. "Though, it's your choice if you wanna keep that rare card, but if you have a replica of that said card, then you can sell the replica and keep the one you originally got. Any of your friends mention this?"

Lincoln thinks. "No, I don't think so. But perhaps I can ask Renee, she seems to be all about the collection and stuff and if she does know, then I could ask where we could…" Lincoln then sees the others. "Good morning everyone and hello Great Grandma Harriet."

Lincoln goes over and he hugs the ghost and she hugs him back, she managed to break from her ethereal form and be as solid as anyone, but for a brief moment. "Good morning, Lincoln. Did you sleep well last night?"

Lincoln departs from the hug. "I did and thanks for trying to help with some of my memories."

This shocks them all. "Wait what?!"

Harriet smirks. "Come, eat and I shall explain." They all take their seats and enjoy the food, and then Harriet tells them what she did.

"Last night, I decided to intercept within Lincoln's thoughts and his inner self met with me and so we spoke, and through my time within his mind, I managed to help him with some memories that needed to be fixed. So, we did just that."

Now that was something they did not see coming. "Well, did it work?" asked Delilah.

Harriet felt a bit unsure. "Sorta, we managed to repair some of the memories and even some of the bad times, but the rest were still in shattered ruins, and were healing by themselves, and then we fixed those that are memorable and what he cherishes."

Hearing this was making Luna smile. But then she sees the upset look from Harriet. "But there were some memories we could not access, and those were the locked memories of the best and most bonded of moments and I could only assume that they are from Luna, and we couldn't go through."

"Though it should be the one part of the mind that cannot be shattered, it seems to be blackened and locked up, and it won't be broken free unless he can truly think hard enough to remember the best moments that might trigger those good memories and then he could be able to recall everything."

"If Lincoln can unlock the memories of himself with Luna, then everything will be back to normal."

This shocks them all and Delilah then sees the real deal. "Huh, kinda like when it comes to rebooting a computer or trying fix the internal systems." Then she asks. "Wait, how did you manage to do all that stuff in his head?"

Harriet smiles. "That would be from our associates from the other world, the guardian Gyro let me one of the books from his world and I managed to study them and thus I learned how to go into the thoughts of others and do what I can to help."

"And no this is not a Nightmare on Elm Street thing, this is a total opposite, kinda like someone who was tasked to enter the dream realm and help others."

"Wow. Well, that sure sounds nice and all" said Michelle. "But the fact states, that he can't be himself unless he recalls the best times he had with Luna."

Luna didn't seem happy about this outcome, and that it would take her moments with her son to let him unlock what he lost. But then Lincoln speaks. "Then I can't wait for what tomorrow comes."

Luna then looks to Lincoln and she can see the determination on his face. "Lun… Mom, I know that you have something in store for me when tomorrow hits, and I will try and keep up and see if anything can help me recall what I lost."

"After last night, I feel as if there are so much good that I wanna experience and it felt awesome seeing them. From the day we met Michelle and made her family, the redemption we're giving to the former family and the day we let Delilah into the life we have, and giving her a family to fight for."

"When the day comes, then I'll be there to walk by your side and then it'll be the moment when I regain what I lost and we can be the family we were once before, the Family of Two."

Luna gets up from her chair and she goes over and she hugs her son, and Lincoln returns the embrace, and soon Michelle and Delilah joins them.

Harriet sees this and she smiles. 'Well, looks like that's one part of Lincoln that still remains within him. The courage and determined side of the boy, and I have seen that side of him many times and when he goes against the odds, she would never give up and do whatever he could.'

'Really does feel as if a part of… Wait, his blood has some of Luna's blood, perhaps there might be some way to…' She smiles when she sees Lincoln snuggle close to Luna in this family hug. 'Or perhaps the best way is to let Luna and whatever she has planned be the one to do so. I'll let Luna handle this.'

Luna then kisses his forehead and hugs him close to her. 'I promise you Lincoln, tomorrow you will regain everything and then we can be a mother and son again.'

(Later.)

The group all walk out of the house, and each of them goes to the car, while Harriet watches them leave and also watching them is Merris and Grouse and they all recall about the ordeal Lincoln is in.

Luna then opens the door for her son. "Let's get you to school buddy." She then looks to Harriet who waves to them and she smiles and then she goes into the driver's seat and they prepare to drive off.

Michelle with her daughter Delilah are in the red Ferrari and they prepare to leave as well. They watch as the red Ferrari drives off and so they follow.

Harriet smiles watching this. 'In due time, when the moment does come, then Lincoln will…' Then they spot this moving truck drive by at full speed. "What the heck?"

Merris and Grouse sees this and so do the Yates, and what they see next shocks them. The moving truck rams onto Luna's Ferrari and the purple car tries to get clear of the moving truck. Merris gets into her car and gives chase and Harriet also takes off after them.

Luna tries her best to drive clear of the truck and she looks to her son Lincoln who is holding on and freaking out. "Luna! What the heck is going on?!"

Luna sighs and she takes a moment. "Hang on, kiddo. This is gonna be close." She swerves the car hard and it's now facing the moving truck while driving backward and Lincoln is confused.

"Luna, what the heck are you doing?!"

Luna sees the two masked drivers. "Just like the same retard who tried to kill you at the mall, someone is still after you!" Luna then pushes one of the buttons and the front of the purple Ferrari turns into spikes and then some guns appear at where the headlights should be and she opens fire.

The men in the truck try to defend themselves, but the bullets pierce through, and this makes the truck swivel out of control and the truck begins to roll over multiple times.

Seeing this happen, Luna then gets off her seat and she grabs Lincoln to protect him, and then the truck hits the top of the purple Ferrari and this causes both vehicles to smash into each other and then slam onto the nearby lamp post.

Merris and Harriet arrive and watch as the truck is now on fire, and then they see the purple Ferrari door opens and its Lincoln dragging and unconscious Luna, then the red Ferrari comes back and Michelle and Delilah go over to see what has happened.

They begin to call the paramedics and Lincoln cries as Luna holds his hand, and is looking tired. She has a cut to her forehead and some bruises all over her, and her left arm looks badly twisted.

Harriet remains silent, but then she sees Merris go to the broken moving truck and one of the men are alive but injured, and this makes the ghost angry and she goes after the man. While Delilah checks on any other injuries Luna has and she knows how to tend to injuries.

Michelle is calling the cops and calling EMT's to arrive and quickly. Everyone in the neighborhood sees this, and go over to see what they can do.

Luna coughs out blood and smiles. "L-Lincoln… You're gonna be…. Okay, Lincoln…. Son." she slowly closes her eyes and she only hears the voice of Lincoln.

"Luna, please wake up I…." Lincoln then begins to cry some more. "Mom! Mom, no. Mom wake up, don't leave me!"

And everything goes silent.

A/N: A change of everything and we all know that Luna will be fine, and now this makes things more complicated. Someone is still after in taking out Lincoln, and we all know who sent those men in the moving van and the robber from the mall, as the same as the person who sent that bastard bitch Jak.
