Drake has fallen in battle, as have so many others in this war. Nashi came close to surrendering, but Storm was able to snap her out of it. With more of their friends fallen, they're even more determined to defeat Ankhselam for good.
"What does it take to break their spirits?" Ankhselam said. "Perhaps it's time I quit playing around. I was hoping to break their spirits and have them suffer. Looks like I'll have to skip straight to the killing."
"Come on, Ankhselam!" Nashi called as she held Storm's hand. "Do your worst! We can take anything you throw at us!"
"Is that so? Let's see! Acnologia, use your mighty roar and destroy them all!" Ankhselam ordered. Acnologia was getting ready it's breath attack. It was charging it up with a lot of people getting scared and thinking there would be no way they could survive.
"Storm, do you think we can stop it?" Nashi asked.
"Nashi, I know as long as I got you around, we can do anything." Storm said. That's what she needed to hear as they began to combine their magic power in their joined hands.
"Now burn!" Nashi called.
"And freeze!" Both of them thrusted their joined hands forward and unleash a spiral of ice and fire. The attack made it's way all the way to Acnologia. It slammed against Acnologia's head and it was just enough to tilt Acnologia's head upwards and caused his roar to go completely over the battlefield. The roar caused a large explosion upon impact, but the fact that Nashi and Storm was able to deflect it was impressive.
"Impossible! Where are they getting this sort of strength?!" Ankhselam said. "How is it possible they can keep the fight going?"
"Not bad." Storm said.
"I had you to help me out." Nashi said. Nashi's fighting spirit seems to be fully recharged and she's got her head back in the game. She's got Storm to thank for snapping him out of it. She also looked towards Drake's body knowing he helped out as well. "Thanks, Drake. I won't forget all that you've done."
"None of us will." Sasha said as she walked over. "We all feel the same way you two do."
"You can say that again." Gale said as he joined them with Nova and Simon.
"We're not going to let all those we lost be for nothing." Simon said.
"That's right. We might have lost some people, but that just means we have to fight harder." Nova said. "I think there are some others who need that boost in motivation." Nashi had a look around and saw that some people were losing the will to keep fighting after seeing their friends die as well as seeing the destructive power of that roar.
"We so can't afford that right now." Nashi said.
"That's it!" Ankhselam called as Acnologia landed down. "I've had my fun, but I think it's time I put an end to this!" Ankhselam was done playing around. He thought he could break Nashi and her friends, but they appear to be as strong as ever. Since he failed to do that, he's decided to skip straight to the killing. All of his soldiers stood with Acnologia as he was sent on ending this battle here. "Destroy them!" His soldiers charged right at all of them and kept the battle going.
"For once we agree, Ankhselam. This ends!" Nashi said as she and her friends went on the attack. The six of them kept going as they fought off all the soldiers. As they were trying to push through, some of the other wizards were impressed that they could still fight.
"Are those kids crazy?"
"How can they still be willing to fight that thing?"
"There's just no way for us to beat that thing. Why are they still fighting?" Some wizards aren't sure if they can keep going. They're wondering how Nashi and her friends can still fight.
"Of course we have to keep fighting!" Michael shouted as he unleashed his own blast of light at the soldiers. "We've got to keep fighting! We have to do it for our friends!"
"Michael's right!" Coro called. "We need to keep fighting for those Ankhselam just killed! Their deaths can't be for nothing! Besides, we're all friends, aren't we?! We have to fight for each other too!" Those words from them really got through.
"Friends?"
"Our friends?"
"Friends?" A lot of people know Fairy Tail is all about friendship, but hearing people from guilds like Sabertooth and Lion's Crown made it sound like there was some real truth to it. It allowed people to be more sure of themselves and reminded them why they're fighting.

"We're friends!"
"Let's go!" Michael called as everyone was getting back in the fight. Every guild is surpassing their limitations and are still fighting for those who have fallen and those who are still standing. As everyone was doing their best to fight off the enemy, Kinana and Erik went over to their son. Kinana held the body of her son in her arms as she cried. Erik could barely contained the rage and anger he was feeling. Erik looked towards Ankhselam with his one eye and was ready to lash it all out at him, but Jellal grabbed him by the back of his collar and kept him from going anywhere.
"I can't hear thoughts like you can, but I understand what you must be feeling." Jellal said.
"Jellal, let me go or else you'll be the next on in the grave." Erik threatened.
"So I can release you and you can die too? I don't think so." Jellal said. "Don't give in to hatred and anger. That's just what Ankhselam wants us to do. Think about what your son would do. He's a Fairy Tail wizard after all."
"Wouldn't they just take revenge too?" Erik questioned.
"True, but there are times they take control of their anger." Jellal said. "Let your son's sacrifice mean something by protecting those close to him rather than lashing out in anger." Erik wanted nothing more than to kill Ankhselam for what he's done, but he can see what Jellal was saying. He needs to channel his anger and not act recklessly. It's hard, but he has to do it for his son. Everyone was still fighting and still going strong. It was like some sort of miracle.
"What's the deal with these guys?!" Gale said as he hit a soldier back. "After seeing what they just witnessed, how can these giant tin cans still want to fight?"
"Who knows?" Nova said as she tried to fight some off herself. "Maybe Ankhselam has threatened to kill them if they don't fight to the finished. Either way, we have to keep pushing past them." Nova proved her point as she slammed her fist against the ground and released lightning and knocked some away. Some were even brave enough to attack Acnologia directly.
"Pests." Ankhselam said. He had Acnologia raise a claw and swiped it against the field as he tried to take some out. Simon went directly to Acnologia as he had an idea that could do some harm.
"Requip! Heaven's Wheel!" Simon changed armor and was calling upon all the swords he could. "I sure hope I can call on enough swords to help with this. Magic might not hurt him, but his scales can't be impenetrable. There must be a way to get through."
"I can help with that!" Erza called as she requipped into the same armor as her son and was doing the same thing.
"Wait for me!" Ranko called as he called on all the swords that he could as well.
"You too, Ranko?" Simon questioned.
"I can't let you show me up. I'm the best swordsman in Fiore." Ranko said. Simon didn't even bother arguing him about that.
"Let's see which one can penetrate the scales first." Simon said as a way to motivate Ranko to go harder. "Here we go!"
"Dance, our blades!" All three of them called. All three of them unleashed their swords or whatever weapon they could at Acnologia. They tried to break through Acnologia's scales, but that wasn't doing much. Acnologia swung his tail at them, but they were able to move out of the way before the tail crushed them.
"Damn!" Simon said. "All those blades and not one scale broke off. How tough are those dragon scales?" It seemed like nothing could stop that beast as Acnologia continued to smash his way through the place.
"Lennis! Try your magic!" Stella called. "You magic isn't tied to just human beings. Maybe it can work on him and Ankhselam too."
"I never used it against anything so big, but I'll try." Lennis said. He clapped his hands together and tried using his magic. White tentacles appeared under Acnologia and tried to tie around him. Lennis tried his best to use his magic against Acnologia and it seem to be working as a white aura started to show on the beast.
"That's it, Lennis! You got him!" Coro cheered.
"This magic...!" Ankhselam said as he was familiar with it, but couldn't believe it. "They're getting crafty, I'll give them that, but it's going to take a lot more than that. Acnologia, help yourself." Acnologia was able to get one of the tentacles between his teeth and started to devour the rest of it as well.
"Are you serious?! He's eating that kind of magic too?!" Lennis said.
"That magic is like sweet dessert to Acnologia." Ankhselam said. "Zeref thought that kind of magic would work against Acnologia himself, but even that won't be enough. At least not while I'm the one in control."
"This isn't working. Nothing is working." Storm said. "As long as Ankhselam is the one in control of Acnologia, he'll see through all of our plans."
"That's why we have to take him down now." Nashi said.
"How? We can't even get close enough to him." Storm said. Nashi thought about that. Ankhselam is acting like the brain of Acnologia, as well as the entire kingdom. Taking out the brain might help them out.
"I have an idea, but I need your help, Storm." Nashi said.
"Anything if it means we can take him down. What do you have?" Storm questioned. While they were trying to think of some plan, the chaos ensured. Ankhselam looked around and saw chaos. He welcomed it, but he was getting annoyed with all of it, feeling like it's gone on long enough.
"While I'm actually impressed they still have the will to keep fighting, this has to end." Ankhselam said. "I have a world to change. Acnologia, get ready for..." "Hey, Ankhselam!" Storm called to him.
"Ice-Make: Gungnir!" Storm launched a spear-like weapon and launched it right at Ankhselam.
"You must be kidding." Ankhselam said as he had Acnologia use his arm to shatter the ice. "Did he really think that would work on me?"
"Quit looking down on us!" Ankhselam was surprised to hear that voice. He looked up and past the ice to see Nashi as she came right down at him.
"She was in the ice?!" Ankhselam questioned as he didn't expect that. He didn't get the chance to defend himself as Nashi hit him right across the face. She did bounce against Acnologia and was about to fall off, but she was able to latch on. She glared right at Ankhselam as he glared right at her. Now that Nashi has a clear shot at Ankhselam, she won't let him go until she crushes him.
