Sonamy Boom Prompt where Sonic has to leave on a mission by himself for a long period of time. Left behind with the rest of the gang, Amy is heartbroken. Fast forward 3 years, and Amy is coming back from the village. When she enters the hub, she sees Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks celebrating the return of *gasp* Sonic! You have to remember that was an AU, and I made a lot happen to have Amy trying to 'escape' her love for Sonic, which ultimately, failed to say the least.
Where a typical girl would have let her heart be broken and move on, but hate the guy forever more, Amy couldn't move on from Sonic, and so, she let her heart stay broken for over the span of many, many years. Resulting in her being a bitter old woman who Sonic has to charm back in order to find the real Amy Rose again.
….How the heck do I do that with Boom!Amy!? I barely even know who she is right now! -cries- I could do that fanfic because 1. I knew Amy pretty darn freakin' well from all the research I did on her, and 2. I knew she couldn't get over Sonic due to an interview I read through from an official of SEGA, and 3. I PLAYED OUT THE SCENARIO FIFTY THOUSAND TIMES IN MY HEAD before figuring out how Amy would suppress her love for Sonic and try desperately to hate him like she felt she should.
Conclusion?
WHO THE HECK IS BOOM!AMY, AND WHAT WOULD MAKE HER LOVE SONIC TO WHERE SHE COULD NEVER STAY MAD AT HIM, EVEN IF HE WRONGED HER SO HORRIBLY BAD?

This Prompt, because I feel really bad now for going on a funny tangent about my AU XD Here's a rip off of my Fanfic because I I want to appease you and you're desire for a spin on my Fanfic that you so generously read through *w*
Also, I hope you understand that when Sonic Boom comes out, and this Amy has a completely didn't point of view from regular Amy, that you will be able to forgive me for not knowing any better and just writing what I feel may occur. Thank you.
(gosh, that was a long rant, I'm SO SORRY. I'm just constantly worried I'm getting the Boom!dynamic wrong T-T and I don't want to disappoint you guys!)
After years of he who shall not be named being gone, never once coming back to check on his team, Amy has grown bitter and rejecting of most things that would remind her of 'love' or her 'blue hero' that abandoned her behind.
She walked the roads of the village once again, seeing them all cheery about something or other, but she herself was saddened by all the memories this village held for her. The time he was there… saving lives, destroying robots,… oh yeah, and apparently hearts too because hers was pretty broken up about now.
He never called, never once spoke to her,… she eventually left the village and team to try and find happiness else where.
But she couldn't, and she never knew why, but when that man left, he left with her heart and all her dreams too. She could never recover from it, no matter how hard she tried.
Coming up to the hub now, it almost killed her with all the nostalgia. Tails and Knuckles had told her to come back, for a special 'family reunion' almost, as she sighed and thought it best to try and put on a smile for her old friends. After all, they shouldn't still worry about her, not after all these years. Best let them see her good side-
She opened the door to see that scruffy bandanna still intact, that smug of a carefree grin, and that blue that haunted her dreams with peaceful sunsets and lazy star-gazing nights.
His light green eyes turned to meet her own darker emerald green eyes, as his grin turned to a smile, but his eyes turned to one of regret.
"Hello… Amy."
She remained silent, as he leaned off the table, her blue scarf flying a bit in the wind that stilled quickly, as the gang all froze in hopes that Sonic and Amy would make up after all these years.
After a few words, turning into harsh sentiments (mostly from Amy), and apologies (mostly from Sonic, actually, all from him.), Amy stormed out of the house, overcome with emotions she didn't want to surface, as her tears started to water.
So many years of crying, she thought she was drained clean of it. But apparently, she missed a reservoir.
Charging into the jungle, she ran blindly, her feet wobbly and her eyes blurry from the tears she dared and threatened not to fall or else, but she stumbled over some rocks and fell.
Getting dirt all over her, and not having the energy nor motivation to stand, she let herself lay there and sob, as a familiar gust of wind rose, and a figure stood at the epicenter of the wind blast.
"Amy!" Sonic quickly made his way down the slight slope and knelt down beside her. "Are you alright? Are you hurt? Geez, Amy. You'd think by now you'd master your craft of perfect falls." he stated, remembering how she always fell in style, and landed on her feet, being an acrobat by trade.
"How could you!?" she pushed him away, as he remained silent to listen, respecting her anger, but also wouldn't let her push him to far. He held his ground, gripping her arms tight as they tried to shove him away from her. "You left me! Did I mean nothing to you?! You knew I cared about you and you never once came back! You left me wondering what I did wrong! What I did to deserve this! You… you monster!"
He let her say what she needed too, his eyes in shadows as she cried on his chest, before holding her and speaking softly.
"…I'm sorry… with my all my heart, Amy… I'm sorry."
After Eggman's passing, Sonic had felt he had nothing stopping him from moving on with his life. Getting old, he also felt he needed to right some wrongs in his life, and Amy…. Amy was the first thing he could think of, and the last wrong…
He ever wanted to make.
