Time to get back to the comic that Lincoln made, the Ace Savvy and the Night Club Comic and I wanna give a big thanks to my good pal once more, "Marvelomac1010" for making this happen, at this point I'm gonna start calling him the Ace Savvy and the Night Club King of the Deck! Enjoy this guys.
Family of Two.
Chapter 256: The Darkened Silver.
(The Fortress of Solitaire.)
The main doors from above opens and the High Roller on a platform comes down, and the ones coming out are the whole Deck Crew.
Ace Savvy, One-Eyed Jack, The Night Club, Blue Streak, and the Dodge Ball Queen and the team look super exhausted. Wait, why?
Because today is April 1, and they have been going around Deck City and Royal Woods, working together and splitting up to find all of the hidden trap pranks around the two cities, and they were not going to let that pranking evil monster get away with this crime.
Thankfully, nobody got hurt, and the both cities are saved, but the whole thing was hard to do. They just woke up in the morning, with The Night Club informing them of this dark deed and so they sprang into action and dealt some justice before the day ended.
The Night Club and Blue Streak lean onto each other on the couch within the lair. "Dudes, this has been one tough day" said Blue Streak. "That Quinn never stops, does she?"
"No kidding, brah" replied The Night Club. Then One-Eyed Jack hands them some coffee. "I always have to do this, to go through one whole day to stop that maniac clown from doing any damage, but now that we are a team, she's targeting both cities. This is gonna be hard every time it's April 1st."
One-Eyed Jack thinks about this. "Hmm, well we have shuffled through both cities and managed to go through one whole day dealing out with everything the Jokester has left behind on the bets. I think we all need some rest, and glad I saved the local bakeries before they were ruined."
"We all need a break right now" said Dodge Ball Queen, she then goes over to Ace and sees him on his computer and going through the town and its trackers. "So, anything going on?"
"No, not at the moment" replied Ace Savvy. "Seems like we got all of the prank traps that Jokester Quinn left behind. But we haven't even caught the jokester herself, so where the heck could she be hiding?"
The Night Club goes over and so do the others. "We checked the many locations where she hid many times. The old warehouses, the old whoopee cushion factory, the old party stores, the Royal Woods Theater, and the many local eateries that also show stand-up comedy routines, and nothing."
"This doesn't sound too good, chances she may have changed her tactics" said Blue Streak. "She can be quite crafty, and she may have found a new way to mess with us, and that's a bad sign."
Ace Savvy then expands his search and sees something. "The bets are all off! Found out where she is!"
"What?!" they all go over and see the name of the location, but then someone enters the lair and they see who it is, the Silver Storm.
"Guys! Deck Crew, glad I caught up with you guys. I managed to track your ride, sorry about that. But I need some help, an old enemy of mine has resurfaced and she may have hidden someplace that I know about, it's called the old Lewiston West Mansion."
But then Silver Storm sees the surprised looks from the hero team. "What? What is it?" They then look to the screen and see the location where Jokester Quinn has been last seen, the Old Lewiston West Mansion. Wow! What a coincidence of a deal.
"Well, looks like it's time to deal out some justice" said Ace Savvy. But deep down, he can tell that something is terribly wrong.
(The Old Lewiston West Mansion.)
They all look upon the old mansion, and it looks burnt to the ground too. "So, what do you know about this?" asked One-Eyed Jack.
Silver Storm then tells them. "This place belonged to a nice and rich family, but then their daughter went rogue on them and became a bad gal, so she came back for some revenge, stole the cash and burned the place to the ground, and didn't care about the parents who perished."
She didn't wanna tell them anymore, because this mansion bears the last name of her family. "The enemy I face is less of a threat, but more skilled when it comes to taking cash and paying those who would do her bidding and I found out something you guys haven't…."
"And what might that be?" asked Ace Savvy. They then slowly open the gate, by lifting it and letting it lean onto the wall, they don't wanna make some noise.
"My arch enemy, the Dark Silver stole some heavy duty tech and she used that tech to get Jokester Quinn out of the asylum, and she's been the one helping fund her pranks today. I was able to go through my own investigation while you were all shutting down the prank traps" replied Silver Storm.
They all did not see that deal coming, and this angers the heroes. All this time, that new villain they don't know about released the Jokester?!
"Well, glad we know about who did the whole thing." Blue Streak then has her keyboard ready. "I'm gonna go and look for the fuse box, chances this place has power and chances they might know where we are and so I gotta use my new tech."
They all nod to her idea. "Go on ahead babe, we'll handle the rest" replied Night Club.
They watch as Blue Streak pushed the button on her suit, and she enters stealth and then she sneaks past the mansion and looks for anywhere to hack and see what might be around, but at the same time this happens the team sees a tripwire and Dodge Ball Queen has stepped on it. "Dang it."
They then fall into a hole, and Blue Streak sees this. "No!" The door closes, and so she acts fast and looks for a way into the mansion, but first she needs to track down anything within the place.
(Inside.)
The team all fall through the hole in the ceiling. The Night Club lands inside of a cage and some robot arms grab her axe. "No!" Then she's tazed and she falls to the ground unconscious.
Dodgeball Queen and Silver Storm land onto a metal table and are held down by metal shackles, while Ace Savvy and One-Eyed Jack are tied up by metal tentacles. One-eyed Jack uses an explosive poker chip and he breaks free, but then someone hits him in the neck of the head and he's out of the gamble and out cold.
"One-Eyed Jack!" they then see who did it, and this person/villain chuckles evilly and she steps out of the shadows and reveals herself.
Jokester Quinn.
Around her early 20's, with her hair being brown and in pigtails and both being held by red and yellow scrunchies. She's wearing a black mask that is forming the shape of laughing faces, she's wearing a red and black jester's shirt with a white flower backpack, black leggings with red stripes, and yellow boots with black and red flowers on them and red and black gloves with a large flower through the wrist.
She also has braces and some freckles on her cheeks, and a tattoo of a joker card on her right arm.
Powers: She has no powers at all, but she is cunning and sneaky. She is capable of making some odd ball stuff that act as pranking tools, and she has little combat skills, but good when it comes to making a getaway. Her real skills are in her flower backpack.
Identify: Layla K. Armonsoft, a former comedian and actress. She was part of the biggest play in all of Royal Woods, until she got hit in the head when the stage light fell, and that was on purpose in the hands of her understudy, she awoke with a side of her that is delusional, crazed and out for revenge.
She got what she wanted and took down the gal who tried to end her, but then she craved more, and her demented side hasn't left. So now she wants to spread the pranks through everyone around the world, starting with Michigan.
"So glad of you all to come and join in, we didn't think that you guys would wanna come dropping in on our true schemes of the day, because we know that you guys wouldn't be joking around and…"
"Please stop!" They see this other person, and this person angers Silver Storm. "Hello, hello. My old enemy."
Dark Silver.
She is a year younger than the silver storm, she has silver hair tied into a ponytail by a silver scrunchie, wearing a long black strapless unitard with a silver dollar sign on the chest to the waist, black boots with silver laces, and long silver gloves. She's also wearing a silver and black mask that are the shape of dollar signs. She's also wearing silver lipstick and dollar sign silver earrings.
Powers: She only has combat skills, and they're not that pro or good. She isn't that smart either, she uses the cash she stole to get her hands on some folks who can do the job for her, or invent something she can use for her evil deeds, and usually it involves her associates from a local science division that is also dubbed illegal in their actions. So, she has friends in an illegal science team and she helps fund them.
Identity: Lisa S. Lewiston, she is formerly a rich gal, but she went through some bad times and got into the wrong crowd and so she became a horrid person and everything she was taught about was nothing more than a shattered memory, and now she stands as a thief, criminal and then a vile evil villain.
She started off stealing stuff from folks and taking from poor people, especially kids. Then she broke into houses, got caught and then became disowned for her actions, thus she had her scheme of revenge and stole the cash from her parents and now the mansion is nothing but ruins. She is the former cousin of Dalia S. Lewiston.
Dark Silver goes towards the heroes. "As you see, I have managed to make a new friend and her name is the Jokester Quinn, and though I wouldn't work with such clowns, I had no choice and so while she made all of you run around stopping her pranks. I was able to make this happen."
Jokester Quinn cartwheels to the location and she removes the white tarp and they see what it was, and are shocked. "Behold, our world domination machine!" The machine is a large vat with rockets and wings, and is armed with a lot of stuff for the thing to work.
"As you see, Jokester Quinn managed to make a new kind of formula that would make people fall under our control, and we both agreed to split the planet and our territorial control" said Dark Silver.
Jokester Quinn chuckles. "She gets the folks who will listen and do her bidding! While I take the folks who are willing to be my pranking test subjects and they sure are gonna be gassing out when I show them what I can do! All jokes, and no chuckles, folks!"
Dark Silver is irritated by her partner. 'Gosh. I wish the Royal Emissaries were around, where the heck were they anyway?!'
Silver Storm can't move her hands, but she can see some sparks coming from her wrists. "You sick twisted fiends!"
"You two aren't gonna get away with this!" yelled Ace. He tries to get a card from his sleeves, but then Jokester Quinn takes it.
"Whoa, oh! Not so fast, there Ace. We don't want any more deals to come up thy sleeve!"
Dark Silver chuckles and goes near Ace. "You know, we could make our own deal here, cutie." She then walks closer to the tied up hero, and this angers Silver Storm and the Dodge Ball Queen. "How about, you ditch this dumb card stuff and hero gig and join me? We could rule this world together."
The Night Club gets back up, but the cage shocks her again, and what they don't know is that this is making her purple fiery powers enraged than they normally are.
Ace Savvy scoffs. "Never. I would never ditch the bets on the table. Because I am a hero and not some scum bad guy who wants to ruin the lives of innocent people!"
Dark Silver smirks. "You are so funny when you are…" Then someone breaks through from the vents and they see who it is, Blue Streak. "What the heck?!" she then looks towards Jokester Quinn. "How did she get in here?!"
Jokester Quinn sees that all of her traps have been disabled. "What?! No, not possible!"
Blue Streak chuckles. "I managed to hack my way through, and it was all too easy. Night Club was so right about you being an easy card to bet on."
Dark Silver is shocked and looks to Jokester Quinn who chuckles. "She's not wrong. When it comes to good old Jokester Quinn, I have tricks that seem so obvious, that it's okay to be classical!"
"You little…!" Dark Silver then begins to strangle Jokester Quinn back and forth and she just laughs at this. Blue Streak just watches this happen, and so she just blasts the cage and Night Club is free.
She is super miffed. "Time to shred!" She then grabs her axe, and charges forward and with one swing she knocks away Dark Silver and Jokester Quinn, while Blue Streak hacks the machine.
Then One-Eyed Jack wakes up and he goes over and frees Ace Savvy, then Silver Storm focuses her powers and she busts out of her metal shackles, and soon she gets up and she helps free the Dodge Ball Queen.
The Night Club continues to fight off Dark Silver, but she dodges all of her hits. "My turn!" Dark Silber is about to use something in her sleeve, but then she's electrocuted by Silver Storm and then a dodge ball hits her in the head and she hits the wall and is out cold.
"You're going back to jail, Dark Silver!" said Silver Storm, and so Dodge Ball Queen goes over and cuffs her.
They then see the machine is now shutdown and with one shock from Blue Streak it malfunctions and now it's… Wait, just confetti inside. "Wait what?" said Ace Savvy.
Then they hear Jokester Quinn laughing on the catwalk. "Double pranked! There is no such thing as a gas that could control folks! As you should know, that thing was supposed to prank the Dark Silver, but now that the prank is a bust. I am gonna make my big getaway, catch ya next time!"
"Oh no you don't!" Before Jokester Quinn could take off, Ace tosses a sharp card, and One-Eyed Jack throws an ice poker chip, and this freezes the Jokester Quinn's flower back pack and then the sharp card shatters it.
"Uh oh, looks like I got put on ice cold…" Then Jokester Quinn is hit in the gut by a dodge ball, and then Night Club whacks her hard in the head.
"Just shut the heck up, Jokester. The asylum is gonna have their doors open for you!"
(Moments Later.)
The cops are there and are pushing Dark Silver into an armored car, and this one is being transported via special aircraft to a secured facility, since she is notorious for bribing folks for a way out, and then they see the Jokester Quinn being put into a strait jacket and she laughs maniacally.
She's then tossed into the back of an armored car and it drives off. "Well, that's the end of them" said Ace Savvy. "Their bets are off, and no need for them to make trouble in the table." Then the rest of the team looks to Silver Storm.
"Thanks for the intel, and thanks for helping us see who the real caper of this truly was" said The Night Club. "But we gotta know, are you still thinking about…"
"Becoming part of the team?" said Silver Storm. "I did some thinking, and you know what? Heck with it, I am so in and my mom was the one who reasoned with me to join, and she is right. I need a team, and friends. I mean… I don't have any… friends."
Hearing what she said made things… Kinda awkward, but at least they got a new member in the Deck Crew.
(Epilogue.)
The armored car that was supposed to go to the asylum makes a different turn and then heads to an old clock factory, and the back doors are opened and Jokester Quinn sees who it is. "Well, well. This is something I did not reptile to see coming."
She's then removed from her strait jacket, and Jokester Quinn is freed by… the Roughian Reptile Gal. "Wow. Thanks, but what the heck is the whole…" Then she sees that they're not alone.
Also there: the Gambler, Spade Digger, the Royal Emissaries, Lady Sergeant Boss Lady and the Pink Pageant Diva.
"We are at the same issue as you are" said Gambler. "But I do believe that someone seeks an alliance of all of us villains, and this is also the first time we have been gambled into one big group."
"We are here to work with someone, but some of us don't even know who" said Spade Digger. "But I know who."
They look to the top of the building and see the lady in the cloak, and she calls herself: The Time Witch.
"My fellow villain's, thank you for coming here, well I brought you all here so we can exact the greatest villainous plan on dealing with that wretched Deck Crew! But we are missing one more into this timeline mix, The Sports Luckiteer!"
They all laugh evilly, for they are close to getting this evil alliance and plan underway.
(Reality.)
Lincoln is now tucked in bed, and wearing his orange pajamas. He's now fast asleep, and Luna takes his pencil and his comic and she places it onto the desk. She recalls that this is the comic he began on April and never got to finish it because of his coma.
Luna then kisses Lincoln's forehead. 'Sleep well, Kiddo. You worked hard to finish this, and I know it was bad that you couldn't make the comic.' Luna then turns off the lights and she goes to her bunk and gets some sleep.
At the desk is the comic titled: Ace Savvy and the Pranksters Silver Strike.
