Ankhselam managed to take some of Acnologia's power and combine it with his own. Thanks to Meldy and Wendy, people across Fiore have given their power to Nashi. Now, Ankhselam and Nashi have flown higher than anyone has flown before in this world. This is where the real final battle begins.
"I don't know how you got here, but you are going to wish you never came." Ankhselam said. "If I had known you would cause me this much trouble, I would have destroyed you when we first met. "Now it's time to say goodbye!" He fired a blast of magic power at Nashi, but Nashi easily deflected it with it burning away.
"You're going to need a lot more than that!" Nashi called as she flew at him and hit Ankhselam hard across the face.
"You've gotten in my way for the last time!" Ankhselam called as he unleashed a series of attacks. Nashi flew around to avoid the attacks. When she had a clear opening, she launched a fireball at him, but he was able to block it. Nashi closed the distance and the two of them kept trying to land a hit on the other. There is so much on the line for both of them and they can't afford to be defeated.

Hargeon
Everyone was too exhausted and injured to do much else for Nashi. All of it was on her. Everyone stayed where they were and could barely see what was happening up in the sky. It just looked like two lights clashing against each other.
"Is there really nothing more we can do?" Gale asked.
"This is a battle that takes place in the heavens, maybe even beyond the heavens." Simon said. "There's nothing we can really do from here."
"We've done all that we can. The rest is all up to Nashi." Sasha said. They hated that they're leaving Nashi to fight this threat alone, but there's nothing more anyone can do.
"Do you think she's doing okay?" Nova asked.
"I sure hope so." Storm said. Everyone was hoping for Nashi to win. None was more worried than Lucy. She was praying for her to return.
"Please, Nashi. Please come back." Lucy prayed. All she wants is for her daughter to come back to her. All she can do is wait an hope for the best.

The Fight
Nashi and Ankhselam continued to fight against each other. Ankhselam fired a laser-like attack, but Nashi flew around and was avoiding the attack. When Nashi had the chance, she threw an even larger ball of fire at him, but Ankhselam formed a shield and was able to block the attack. The two of them flew at each other again and kept trying to strike at each other with incredible speed. They didn't stop until they both were able to land a hit on each other and knocked the other back.
"You can't win, Nashi. I have the powers of a god and the mightiest dragon there is." Ankhselam said. "What chance do you have to actually defeat me?"
"A better chance than you have of actually winning." Nashi said.
"You fool. Do you not understand the punishment of defying a god? You will face oblivion!" Ankhselam called as he unleashed a large dark blast, but Nashi breathed out fire against it and caused an explosion to give off. Nashi flew right through the smoke and was able to land another attack against him, but Ankhselam swung his leg up and kicked her back. "I am the god of life and death! You can't win against me!"
"Will you knock that off?! Get off your high horse already!" Nashi called. "You're no god! You were a regular guy who messed around with magic that he shouldn't have! You're not Ankhselam! You're Romero!"
"Silence!" Ankhselam shouted. He blasted her hard and grabbed her by the neck. "That's not who I am! The fool known as Romero died years ago!"
"You're the one that needs to wake up!" Nashi said as she tried to break free from his hold. "You're not some sort of god! You're a human that had a terrible life! I know what you went through when you were just a kid. I can't imagine how awful that must have been for you. It still doesn't mean you should being doing any of this."
"I've had enough of your talks!" Ankhselam said as he was about to finish her, but Nashi burned his arm and was able to get free. She swung her leg around and smashed it against him with him being knocked back.
"I actually would have felt sorry for you!" Nashi claimed. "I would have tried to help you, but you've hurt far too many people!"
"That all means nothing to me!" Ankhselam said as he continued to attack. As he unleashed a barrage of energy attacks at her, Nashi flew around and was trying her best to avoid each one. "The end of this world will soon be upon us! The truth of this world shall be revealed! A pity you won't be around to witness it!" Nashi wasn't going to let him continue like this. She unleashed her own blast of fire to burn away his magic. She flew at him and smashed against his gut, but Ankhselam knocked her down. "I will not be stopped! I didn't spend a lifetime waiting for this day just to have a little brat like you and your friends ruin it!"
"You might think hope is an illusion, but it's what gives us the will to live!" Nashi claimed. "You can't destroy it!"
"This world is one of lies, despair, and misery hidden behind the illusion you know as hope." Ankhselam said. "It's time for those like yourself to see what the world is really like."
"I've had enough of this nonsense!" Nashi called. She twisted her body around and unleashed a vortex of flames. Ankhselam tried his best to resist the flames. When Nashi flew back up to him, she gave him a powerful uppercut. She also kicked him pretty hard and knocked him back. "Hope is not some sort of illusion! It gives us the will to live! It helps us find a better future!"
"It's all a façade." Ankhselam said. "I will be the one to destroy it. I will reveal this world for what it truly is!" Nashi couldn't take this guy anymore. She kept the fight going as she flew at him with a flaming fist, but Ankhselam moved out of the way and blasted her in the back. "You've done well, better than most humans, to have make it this far against me, but you're journey will end here."
"No it won't!" Nashi said. "I swear that I will bring you down if it takes everything I have!"
"Don't you get it? I'm invincible." Ankhselam stated.
"No you're not!" Nashi called. "I don't care how powerful you think you are! I'll bring you down!" Nashi was as hopeful as ever. That's why Ankhselam was resenting so much.
"I think I now know why I held an interest in you, why I wanted to bring you down so badly." Ankhselam said. "It's because you represent everything I wish to destroy!"
"I guess that shows that I really am the best person to take you down!" Nashi claimed. Nashi is carrying the hope of everyone. She is hope itself for the world. All the more reason for her to bring Ankhselam down once and for all. The two of them went at each other again. They had their fists collide and caused powerful shockwaves to travel through the air. They also bashed their heads against each other. The two of them continued to push the other back. Both of them refused to let the other win as their opponent represent what they wish to stop. As both of them moved back, Ankhselam and Nashi launches blasts of darkness and fire at the other. With the way this fight was going, it was practically impossible to tell who was going to win this fight.
"I will not be stopped!" Ankhselam claimed as he used more of his power. Tendrils of darkness were unleashed from him and coiled around Nashi. "You and that pathetic guild fight for fantasies! Wake up to the real world already! All that stuff your guild stands for is all just nonsense, fantasies, actual fairy tales! None of that is real!"
"You don't know that!" Nashi said. "You're only saying that because we stand for everything that is the opposite of what you fight for! We value life, but you just want to destroy it! Have you really forgotten what it means to be a human?!"
"You and your worthless friends have gotten in my way for the last time!" Ankhselam claimed as he electrocuted her, trying to drain more and more power her power.
"I'm not worthless! Neither are my friends, anyone in my guild, or anyone at all!" Nashi called as she broke through and burned away his magic. Nashi breathed out fire and unleashed a powerful blast. It swallowed Ankhselam, but he was resisting the flames.
"Damn it!" Ankhselam groaned as he pushed through the flames. "After everything, she still isn't giving up?"
"I can't. I won't." Nashi said as she remembered all the battles, all the hard times she's been through with her friends. She brought down Dantu and his tower. She and her friends defeated enemies of their parents. They took on a fellow guild with a madman to destroy an old weapon. She met and lost her long-lost cousin while also facing her own inner demon. Zeref came into her life and she was happy about it when others weren't. She and her friends won the Grand Magic Games while beating Lion's Crown. Taking on evil versions of the celestial spirits. Defeating etherious hybrids. Facing Ankhselam's past with those who worshipped him. Even through this entire war, she and her friends have come such a long way. "I've been through too much to have it all end with you winning. All the pain, hardships, and tragedies I had to endure... It's helped me become as strong as I am. I won't let it all be for nothing."
"I swear I will end you." Ankhselam said as he began to gather magic around his hand for one massive attack.
'I've got to stop him. I've got to stop him no matter what it takes.' Nashi thought as she was gathering power herself around her fist, around her emblem as she was drawing on the power of everyone. 'Everyone, please continue to give me strength. Ankhselam is all alone, but I have all of you. He can't win as long as I do. Help me fight for the world that we believe in!' She was putting all her hopes, everyone's hopes, and everything she can in one last attack. "Burn! Burn away and destroy all evil!"
"Disappear! Cover everything in darkness!" Ankhselam chanted. Both of them were gathering power for one powerful spell, a spell that will put an end to all of this.
"Light my fire with every ounce of my heart, my spirit!" Nashi chanted.
"Send all who stand in my way to oblivion!" Ankhselam chanted.
"Eternal Dragon Inferno!"
"Dark Purgatory!"
"Ankhselam!" Nashi called.
"Dragneel!" Ankhselam called. The two of them flew at each other. Nashi possessing the strongest and most intense heat she's ever generated, Ankhselam with a mass of pure darkness. They were going to clash at each other and one could tell that there will be quite the power struggle. One last attack, one last chance to finish this. This on-going battle between Ankhselam and Nashi, a battle between despair and hope, finally comes to end.
