Time to have a nice visit to some former family members of The Loud family, and they would be the ones who are getting ready for the time when they do come back to town. Also, to the big plan Leni has for Luan, and how they feel after what Lincoln and Luna have been through. So, enjoy reading this guys.
Family of Two.
Chapter 258: Luan, Leni and a Plan.
(Crotus Penn Mental Hospital, Marquette.)
Now we go to the location to where Luan and Leni are, and the duo are busy reading some books as they sit around at the bedroom they share. They share the room, but their beds are far apart on opposite sides of the room.
They have chosen to be roommates, and this helps them feel as if they're still family, and Leni has been doing a very good job with the whole deal within Luan's head, but only Leni can explain the whole thing. But deep down, Leni has a new plan, one that would be good for when the time comes for Luan to be cleared from her stay there.
Then they hear something from outside, and that would be someone at the door. "Leni, Luan. It's Dr. Himmler, you have guests waiting for you at the waiting room."
"We're on it." Luan and Leni look to each other and chuckle, they spoke about that at the same time. They then walk out of the room and make their way down the halls, and they wave and greet to the staff and patients of the place, and the folks there are happy for Leni and Luan.
The duo then make it to the double doors and they open it to see the guests who have been waiting for, and that would be Lincoln and Luna Loud, along with Michelle and Delilah Lewis Loud.
"Leni! Luan!" Lincoln runs towards them and the two former sisters open their arms and hug him.
"Oh Linky. We heard about what happened and we're so sorry you had to go through and we wish we were there to help out!" said Leni.
"Same, I wanna try and see if I can use the old me to take those bozos down for what they did to you and Luna" said Luan.
Hearing this shocks them and then Lincoln departs from the hug. "Wait, what?" asked Lincoln.
Leni and Luan smile and look to each other, and then they look towards the group. "Come on, we need to tell you guys what's been going on here since the last time you came to this place" said Leni.
They all go over and take their seats near the window that has a clear view of the city. Luan then speaks. "Alright, so you guys were last here when it was my b-day, right?"
"Pretty much" replied Delilah. "So, what the heck is with the whole mentioning about the old prankster you? I mean, you are cured…. Right?" This kinda makes them cautious, especially Luna and Michelle.
Luan chuckles. "Yeah, I am. But, the whole pranking thing is under my control and recently, this whole thing has been put to good use."
"What do you mean, Luan?" asked Michelle.
Leni then tells them. "Last week, someone broke into the mental hospital and that man was lookin for the medicine that the staff use for those who need it the most, and then the guy tried to kill someone. But then Luan came and she improved and made the guy go through a series of horrible events."
Luan chuckles. "All I did was grab the banana peel from the trash can and it went onto the man's foot, he slipped and then dropped the knife to the ground. Then he stumbled onto the bucket and then tripped again and ended up rolling down the stairs."
"After that he slipped onto the wet floor spill from the drinking fountain at the bottom and then he fell right into the closet, and was locked in, and then the cops showed up and took him away. The whole place was grateful for what I did. That wasn't even a prank, I just looked at how it would turn out."
"So, I guess my pranking skills is actually something else… A skill or talent in seeing how an outcome could be made by improvising in traps and making things that would benefit in keeping trespassers out of the homes of good people."
Everything she had just said surprises them and they see Leni nod. "It's all true, and I was there to see the whole thing. Heck, we even have some video footage of the whole thing."
Lincoln is the first one to speak. "Congrats Luan, that's awesome. At least the prankster side of you is putting to good use, and not hurting folks."
Luan nods. "And all thanks to mo… I mean, Luan." she blushes when she nearly said that name and this catches the attention of the others, for they can see that something is up with the former comedienne.
Leni then looks to Luna and Michelle. "Ladies, can we speak in private?" the two mother's nod and then they get up and walk with her someplace else. Leaving Lincoln, Delilah and Luan to talk.
"So, what do you plan to do for when you do get out of here?" asked Delilah.
Luan thinks about this. "Well, I still have to see what my grades are, and when I do see if I pass, then chances that I need to go to summer school. Because unlike Leni, I need to improve my education if I wanna advance in high School."
"We understand and we know that you can make the pass" said Lincoln. "But still, what do you plan to do when the time comes for you on what to do with a hobby?"
Luan then thinks about this. "Well, I think comedy is something to fall back onto, but I do plan for writing. Like, make some scripts for plays and other events, and I am learning on setting up events from Leni, and I am doing well on that."
"Another thing I could do is acting, I did perform for acting back when I was in elementary school and Middle School. Remember that one, Linc?"
Lincoln nods. He remembers that, but he also doesn't wanna remember when Luan nearly got hurt from the whole play of Peter Pan, because that nearly ended so badly.
Delilah is confused and sees the nervous looks from the duo and she can feel something is up. "Alright, what the heck happened to Luan back then?"
(With Leni and Luna.)
We now see the mother of the only loud boy in the family and the mother of Delilah, and the duo are speaking with Leni at the bedroom that Leni and Luan share, and the duo sit onto the bed. "Alright, Leni Lauren. What's this thing you wanted to talk to us about?" asked Luna.
Leni takes a moment to breath and so she shows them her notebook. "Okay, so I have been making this since the day I became part of Luan's whole teaching here at the mental hospital, and I wanna know what you think."
Luna and Michelle check out what this is and are both surprised by what they are reading.
First: Help Luan with her issue, and convince her that she is not a monster with these pranks of evil she made long ago, and help her change into a better person.
Second: Bond with her more, and wait for when the go is made, and when I mean go, I mean the day where Luan is cleared and let out back to society.
Third: Look for some help from the manager on something planned, or wait for Luna and speak with her.
Fourth: Surprise Luan when we go back home, to Royal Woods, and then when we do go back, see how she feels about the home I managed to get.
Fifth: Adopt Luan and make her part of the last name I made, I just hope this plan works.
Luna and Michelle are shocked and then look towards Leni. "Well, is this a good idea? Because I don't know if this is a good idea, I wanna give her a home and family to look up to, and I know that I can be the mom to her as you were towards Lincoln."
"Guys, I'm 17 now and I recall that Lunes was given permission to be Linc's mom at the age of 15. I need to know if someone of my age of 17, is allowed to be a mom to someone who is 15. So, what do you guys think?"
Luna and Michelle think about this, and everything she said had a good point. "Well, this is gonna be tough, we would have to talk to some folks at the higher law, and then see what they can do. But in the meantime, I think you should try and get a job to earn a house back at Royal Woods said Luna.
"I have that one set, I got some cash from which I have managed to save from when I helped back at the old mental hospital" said Leni. "So, I did the counting and I have made approximately 450,000 dollars, and I wanna know if there is any house that would cost less."
Michelle Lewis is the one who thinks about this. "Hmm, I think there is a house that is on sale, and doesn't cost a lot. I can contact the real estate department and see the place for you and then video record the whole thing."
Leni smiles hearing this. "Oh wow. Thank you! Also, I will wait for when you guys do make the call to me on if it is fine for me to take in Luan as my daughter, and also I do need a job back home. But I don't know what…."
"The Mayor's office" said Luna. "She doesn't have anyone to act as her assistant, and right now she has an intern and that intern is Carol Pingrey. You could work for her."
Michelle then has a suggestion. "There is going to be a possible opening at Reiningers. Because we could use some more help when it comes to sales, and those stuff are a total cluster nightmare."
Leni thinks about this. "Let me go through both options in my head, and then I'll give you gals a call on what I chose."
Luna and Michelle smile and nod. They then go over and hug Leni, and she hugs them back. "We're proud of you for making this awesome plan, Leni" replied Luna.
"We notice how Luan was close to calling you mom, and that would mean this plan to adopt her is a sure to be a good idea" said Michelle. "We'll be sure to reason with the others on making the whole thing a possibility, so that both of you can see through the future that is awaiting you both."
Leni smiles and she sheds some tears. "Thanks so much, girls. This means so much to me, and Luan means a lot to me as well."
They then depart from the hug and head out of the room, not knowing that Dr. Himmler heard this and smiles. 'Now that Leni Lauren, is a darn good idea. Perhaps I could help out and make the call for her, that would save them the time to find her a good house for Luan and herself.'
Meanwhile: Leni, Luna and Michelle head back to the waiting room and they see Lincoln, Luan and Delilah playing on a board game and it seems like Delilah is winning.
"How the heck are you so good at this?" asked Luan. "This board game is new."
Delilah smirks. "What can I say? I know how to strategize and get the numbers right." She rolls the dice again. "And I get to cross over twelve times."
Lincoln chuckles. "Luan, she turns into a powerhouse when it comes to Monopoly, and none of us win. I thought Harriet was the ace of the game, but never mind."
The trio laugh, and then go back to playing. Luna, Michelle and Leni smile seeing this and they can only imagine the day when Luan does go back to Royal Woods, they could see an image of all three of them together on Christmas and opening gifts with them.
The future feels close, and yet far from them. But the feeling they have makes it feel all too real.
