I don't want to take up too much of your time, but I simply love your Sonamy prompts, especially the Boom ones. I'd really love it if you did another one. I'm up for anything!

After losing a bet to Amy, Amy slyly slips in that she wouldn't mind a 'date' with Sonic.

A little taken aback, Sonic asks if there's anything else BESIDES a date that he could do for her to settle the debt.

She simply states no.

Never having gone on a date before, Sonic slightly panics, and seeks the help of his closest friend, Tails.

"What would I know about dates? I'm only 10!" Tails exclaims, sitting behind the counter and placing his arms on it, holding them out to really show how little experience he had with these things.

"Come on, Tails! You're a wiz at everything! You've gotta have some idea… I need an idea." Sonic bent his eyebrows back in desperation as he spoke, before dropping it and slamming his chin down on the counter, showing how helpless he was at even thinking of one single thing to do with Amy.

"I know! Take her mud wrestling! Ho-ha!" Knuckles grabbed a pillow and started wrestling with it on the floor, getting it in a headlock. "Yeah! And then, winner has to eat your own booger!" Knuckles then got up and turned his nose up, as the two flinched back, 'ew'ing at his suggestion.

"Do you even know girls, Knuckles?" Tails sarcastically asked, "For one, they hate dirt, and two, boogers? I think most people would hate that idea." Tails rolled his eyes.

"Oh, this is terrible. If I can't figure out how to plan this… date thing… then I'm still gonna owe Amy. I hate owing people." he rolled his eyes on 'date thing' and looked down with a hopelessness that made even Knuckles and Tails feel sorry for the guy.

"I'm sure Amy just wants to spend time with you, so… whatever you decide will be good enough." Tails tried to cheer him up, shrugging an arm up, but then looking to Knuckles, as they both clearly didn't know what to tell him besides that.

"Well, you always have a plan B."

"No, Knuckles." Tails shook his head to him as Sonic groaned and face-smacked his head to the counter.

Something shined from outside Tails's window, as a CameraBot flew in just above so no one could see him.

"Ohh~ So, Sonic's stuck planning a romantic evening with Amy, is he?~" Eggman watched his monitor and rubbed his hands together, as Orbot swooned into Cubot's arms.

"Ah~ Young love."

"So sweet, so pure."

The two kid, as Orbot turned around, "Oh Sonic, this is so sudden, but so… wonderful~" he was being dramatic, and apparently playing the part of Amy.

"Anything for you, Amy." Cubot stated, holding Orbot as he swooned around some more.

"Oh, Sonic!" Cubot caught Orbot in a dip. "We should get married." Orbot lifted a hand to his head, still playing the 'dramatic' damsel.

"Heck no!" Cubot dropped Orbot, spreading his arms out and away and scooting away, and shaking his head.

Orbot got up, hands on his hips, glaring. "Cubot!"

"Sorry, I just got really into character."

"Quiet you fools! This gives me an idea… Sonic will desperate for ANYTHING that will count as a date to Amy.. and I know just the thing…" Eggman snickered, his mouth curling into a smirk.

"A lovely walk around the park?" Orbot suggested, lifting a hand up as he spoke out his suggestion.

"Pizza?!" Cubot excited stated and pointed a finger up behind Orbot.

"No, no… to.. mediocre. We're forgetting this is their FIRST date, we at least have to ruin it with a bit of flare." Eggman shrugged, and then rubbed his hand under his chin, looking up and thinking.

"Well, he could just take her to dinner and show. Better than a movie date I suppose." Orbot stated.

"That's it! A dinner and a show! Oh-ho, me and my clever mind! Ehem, come on you two! I need show girls~ for this scheme to work!"

"S-show girls?!" Cubot and Orbot looked to each other worriedly, and then followed after Eggman.

Sonic, while running around the place for an idea, came across a flyer that seemed to be LAUNCHED in his face, and fell backwards. Shaking his head after taking the flyer off of it and rubbing his head, he read the paper.

"Fine dining and a show? Best for those first dates parties? Hey! This is it! Eh, looks nice enough. I hope Amy thinks so, too." Sonic got up and zipped off, heading to get Amy as Eggman retreated with evil snickerings into the dark alley way.

Amy got all dressed up, excited to actually hear Sonic planned something for the two of them, and nervously hoped she looked nice enough. "What do you think, Sticks?" she observed herself in the mirror. "I want it to say, 'Free and Loveable' not, 'Take me now, I'm Yours' you know?"

"Eh, looks like red over purple, if you ask me." Sticks was sitting on her couch, fiddling with her shiny hair clip, as Amy sighed in annoyance and swiped it away from her, giving her a look.

"I need you to be serious right now, Sticks! This could be it, you know." she hurriedly tried to put the gold hair clip in as best as she could.

"It for what?" Sticks suddenly gasped, "You're dying! You're dying aren't you!? Oh, I knew it! Those bags under your eyes, that scent of…. of… -sniff sniff- pretty flowers! You're dying any minute!" Sticks jumped up on the couch, as Amy sighed.

"No, Sticks… I just… Do you think I put too much perfume on?" Amy sniffed herself, and then ran back to her room. "If Sonic knocks, tell him I'll be out in a minute!"

"K."

-Knock Knock-

Sticks casually jumped off the couch and opened the door, "She'll be out in a minute." then slammed it on Sonic's face and walked casually back to the couch.

"Who was that?" Amy asked, fiddling with her hair.

"Eh, Sonic. Hey, when do I tell him you're dying?"

"What?! Sticks! Let him in! Oh, nevermind!" Amy rushed to the door, but stopped herself to take one last look in the mirror, before groaning at thinking her efforts weren't nearly as good enough as she needs them to be and opened the door. "H-hi, Sonic! I'm sorry about Sticks, but I'm all ready to go!" she chimed, and closed the door behind her.

"W-w-woah…" Sonic took a moment to look at her, seeing her in a new light, with all her extra little touches to make herself look nice, he had to shake his head just to stop staring at her. "I-I-I mean, you look nice." he smiled weakly, nervous as ever as he put his hand to the back of his head.

Amy giggled, blushing and looking down, having her hands out in front of her, and her body slightly turning to and fro.

"So~ Where are we headed? Hehe." she giggled. 'Aw, he's so nervous!'

'Geez, she smells like a garden!' Sonic looked away, "O-oh, um, a fancy dining place with a live show or.. something." Sonic rotated his hand up next to him, as if acting like it was no big deal. He actually whaffed a big loud of her perfume in his face and did one big cough to get it out, turning his head so she didn't see. 'Why does she smell so good!? And why is so darn… powerful!?'

She turned away, being cute. "Oh, Sonic! That sounds… wonderful!" she spun a little, super excited as she then looked to his arm, and then up, as if waiting..

"Uhh… oh." Sonic noticed her cue and held out his arm. "Shall we?" he nervously asked, having an awkward sweat drop on the side of his face, as he really didn't know what to do right now.

"Why, thank you. I would love too." Amy chimed, enjoying herself and taking his arm.

He then swooped her up into a bridal style, startling her a bit as he then dashed off to the village, where the flyer said the dinner and a show would be.

"Aw, if only she wasn't dying." Sticks sniffed, blowing into a tissue. "Then they could be happy together~" she put her hands together, before looking to the side, "Yuck. That really does sound terrible. Almost like a really bad episode on some sick t.v show." she jumped down from the window and was out of sight.

Sonic and Amy made it to the restaurant, as it looked like it was hurried patched together with cardboard and some metal.

Not wanting to embarrass Sonic, Amy just played along, although the floors were dirt and the stage looked metal and bear of any real 'passe'.

They were served by Orbot and Cubot in disguise, as Eggman played the piano, which was actually his control panel, as the two spoke for a moment or two, he then activated some keys.

Orbot and Cubot rushed out as show girls, before a huge army of beefy metal show girls, totally robots in disguised, came out and danced while Orbot and Cubot sung, with Eggman sometimes chipping in.

The food was terrible, and the song was deafening.

Amy and Sonic plugged their ears. "Maybe we should just go somewhere quiet and cuddle? I MEAN, SUBTLE, I MEAN-"

"What?"

"Nothing!"

Finally, Eggman attacked, and the two were forced to battle along side each other.

However… that battle proved to be more romantic than they thought, and the two actually enjoyed themselves.

Once the battle ended, Sonic offered Amy his arm. "Excellent battling, Amy."

"Ah, and you, yourself, Sonic." Amy took his hand and giggled, playing along with a sincere smile. "You know, for a first date, this wasn't so bad." she leaned up against him, making him step back a bit and look away.

"Y-yeah? You think so?"

"Em-hmm." she giggled, seeing as he wasn't quite ready for that, and moved away.

"Eh, it was alright." he shrugged, and smiled up to Eggman, hanging from the paper hideous chandelier, as Sonic tripped the wire and he came flying down, screaming.

"How about another one, sometime?"

"Sorry, Amy. I think I'll step out of the 'dating' light for a while." Sonic admitted, heading out the door with her as Eggman had stars above his head.

"No.. tip…?" Orbot stuck his head out, with his finger up in the air from the remains of the poorly constructed restaurant, before falling backwards and having paper from the music fly up behind him.

END.
