Family of Two.

Chapter 259: A B-Day for Lily.

(D. Pingrey House.)

Elena and Tristen D. Pingrey, are the uncle and auntie to Carol Pingrey and right now have setup everything around the backyard for the whole birthday gig and the whole place is looking quite nice, and even got some help from Carol and her parents.

Lily's attire: A light Lavender shirt, and dark lavender shorts, and a lavender party hat on her head, with a small lavender bow on her hair. She's also wearing brown sandals.

Lily is waddling around, and she nearly falls, but then Carol grabs her. "Easy does it, Lily." she then carries the little girl and she giggles and then hugs Carol.

Carol smiles from this and hugs her back. "Happy birthday Little Cousin. You're like a little sister to me, Lily." she then kisses her cheek and then boops her nose.

Lily giggles and she smiles at the sight of her cousin. "Twank you, Cawol."

Carol chuckles at the name. She then goes over to her uncle and auntie. "So, are you guys sure about not taking the job at Detroit?"

Tristen comes down from the ladder after putting up the lavender colored decorations. "Sure am. I mean, a promotion someplace else does sound like a good idea, but I'd rather not go for that kinda stuff. I think we're happier here in the town we're all born from."

Elena goes over and kisses his cheek. "A lot of stuff is changing and we're glad to be part of this new change." Carol then hands Lily over to Elena. "Especially Lily here, she knows that she wants to stay with those she calls her family. Though they might not be related anymore, they're still family to her."

Carol nods. "Sooner or later, when the time does come, she'll be told about how this all went down, right?"

Tristen and Elena know that is true, Lily will need to be informed of the truth behind the fall of her former family. "We plan to do so when the time is right, and that time will be when the louds all come together again" replied Tristen.

"It's a better idea and a good option." Elena then kisses Lily's forehead. "She's a brave girl, and I know she'll be fine dealing with the whole truth. She knows what's right and wrong, and even though she's too young, I can feel that she's got a bright future ahead of her, and an understanding heart too."

Carol is touched hearing this, and she knows this is true. Then she recalls something. 'Lori is here in town, and if she does get released soon… what the heck does she do then? I don't even know if… No, I will help her. I'm gonna help her find a college to be a part of, once she's out of jail.'

Carol knows that once Lori finishes her summer classes, she will be dubbed a graduate from High School, and that could mean she might get transferred out of juvie and into actual jail, and Carol doesn't know if Lori would even make it, but chances she might and she will.

"Are we late?" They all turn around and see who it is.

Lincoln, Luna, Lola, Lana, Mrs. Johnson, Darcy, Lisa, Teri, Maggie, Lucy, Michelle, Delilah, Albert, Myrtle and Harriet. The former family of Lily D. Pingrey.

"Actually, you guys came early" replied Carol's father. "We're still setting up everything, and we catered some food from the Rosato restaurant too, so they'll be here soon."

"Well, then. Might as well help making this party a success and something to look forward to" said Albert.

"We also got some unexpected surprises" said Luna. She then steps aside and so do the others and they see Lori, Leni and Luan.

The trio smile, and Lily is let down and she waddles towards them, and the trio go over and hug their former baby sisters. "We're so glad we could be here Lily" cried Luan.

"We didn't wanna miss this moment, the day you turn three and you look so pretty" said Leni.

"We all came here just to spend this day with you, and say… Happy Birthday Lily" said Lori.

Lily smiles and hugs the three former older sisters, and soon the rest of the former Louds join in, even though it is a shame for the other missing three to not be there, this was okay to Lily.

They soon depart from the hug and Lori carries Lily, like old times and she goes over and she hands her towards Elena, but the mother to Lily decides. "No, you carry her for a while, and take turns to let the others do the same, like old times."

Lori smiles and she nods, and then she goes over towards Leni and the blonde teen looks to Lily and kisses her cheek, the rest of the former louds and Lincoln and Luna go on to help around in setting up the decorations, but then Leni intervenes and she helps set this up.

Leni still has the skills on making the right birthdays to those who she can tell what they likings are, and even Luan helps out. Why? Because Leni taught her on proper party placement, and that could be another kind of gig Luan could take up one day.

As they make this whole thing as the best looking birthday party for Lily, Michelle goes towards Luna. "So, you got the guy who's gonna come along with Lincoln and the others to camp?"

Luna and Michelle watch as Lincoln and Lucy setup the chairs, and then he helps Luan and Tristen with the banner that has Lily's face on it. Luna smirks. "Yeah, I do. The guy will make an incoming when tomorrow hits, and he'll take Huggins place and help keep an eye on the other kids."

"But I also told him that Lincoln is a top priority, I don't want my kid to get hurt from whoever wants him gone for good. I know one thing, and that's that the whole camping ground lies outside of Royal Woods, and the long range defenses don't have the perimeter for that sector."

Michelle nods. "I get ya on that, Lunes. I hope that he'll be safe, and same with everyone else around town."

"Yeah." Luna then looks towards Michelle. "So, you plan to tour Leni around the town this week dude?"

Michelle and Luna watch as Leni is helping Carol with the next kiddie table and then they place the table cloth on. "Yeah, I am. Leni needs a home for herself and Luan, and so I'm gonna be there to escort her around town to look for that one house that would be called her… they're home."

"She told me that Luan will be occupied in sharing her change to the others in the mental hospital, and that Luan is okay is Leni is off to run and errand, and that errand is the big surprise that she has for Luan when they both walk out of there."

Luna chuckles and then she has an idea. "You know what, let me tag along too dude. I could help in picking out some place for her and Luan to stay. As a mom, I know a house that could be livable and safe, and so I want in on the tour and possibly Sam too."

Michelle chuckles. "Alright, alright Luna." Just then they hear a vehicle engine stop, and it sounded like a truck and then they hear the twins yell out.

"The food is here!" They all head to the front yard to help get the food and the cake to the location of the party.

Lincoln then picks up Lily. "Come on, Lily. This is the day we all celebrate the day you turn 3." Lily giggles and she hugs Lincoln, the boy smiles and hugs her back. "Happy Birthday little sister, we all love you so much Lily."

They then go towards the front yard, and they see how the cake looks, and boy does the cake look like something Lily would love, and Lisa and Darcy as mesmerized by it. The cake looks like a chocolate fountain, or rather, the chocolate fountain is on top of the cake.

"Now this is going to be one messy and chocolate-y party!" said Luan, and this time they all chuckle. It has been a long time since they heard Luan crack a pun and this makes it feel like old times.

(A hotel somewhere in Pittsburg.)

We now see the manager of the summer rock tour, Katie Crest and she's going through some contacts on her notebook. "Let's see here…. There has to be someone who could do the job right and not get caught! But who?!"

Just then, she gets a notification from the Royal Woods Elementary School. Why? So she can keep track on what's going on there. She still wants to get rid of The Loud boy, and to do so, she wants to keep track of everything, and even the activities he does at school.

Katie Crest then sees something that makes her smile. "What's this? A tip for the 6th graders to go camping? Well, well. This should be very interesting. Time to see if someone is up for the task." She then pulls out her notebook and goes through more folks she knows who can do the job and she sees a few and smirks.

"Now these guys will do, the best in camouflaged and ambush assassinations." She makes the call to them. Now, this is going to be bad.
