"Ankhselam!" Nashi called.

"Dragneel!" Ankhselam called. They were putting all they had into one last attack. This could be where it all comes to an end. They crashed their attacks into each other in a blaze of fire and darkness. A large power surge could be seen in the sky. Neither side was giving away. Neither of them was backing down. Both sides were putting all they had into this. With such a power struggle, they both were taken in by the power.

...

Hargeon

All of them could see the power struggle as a bright light. None of them knew what to think. They're all just hoping that Nashi really does make it out of there.

"Come on, Nashi. Come on..." Storm said as he wanted nothing more than for her to come out of this alive. Everyone continued to hope and that hope is what everyone needs. Suddenly, the light just disappeared. It wasn't just that light either. The two smaller lights that were Ankhselam and Nashi couldn't be seen either.

"What just happened up there?!" Gale said.

"I don't know. Where's Nashi?" Simon questioned. It wasn't a good sign that there was no sight of Nashi.

"No..." Lucy said as she would have taken it harder than anyone. She looked around for any sign that Nashi was still alive, but there was nothing. "No, no, no, no, no. Please no." She kept looking, but there was nothing out there. Was the power too much for her? Is Nashi really gone?"

...

Nashi

Nashi and Ankhselam were swallowed by the light. When that happened, Nashi lost consciousness for a moment. Perhaps the power would be too much for her to handle. When Nashi opened her eyes, she noticed something strange. She was no longer up in the atmosphere of the world. All she could see was fog.

"What just happened?" Nashi questioned. She looked at herself as well and saw she was her normal self. "What's going on? Where am I?" Nashi didn't like this one little bit.

"How strange. What is all of this?" Nashi looked ahead and saw she wasn't alone. Ankhselam was with her as well.

"Ankhselam!" Nashi shouted as she was ready to keep the fight going, but Ankhselam didn't seem interested.

"Calm yourself, Nashi." Ankhselam said. "I don't think it would do us much good to keep fighting. Look at where we are. It doesn't look like we're in Fiore or anywhere in Earthland anymore."

"I can see that. What have you done?" Nashi asked.

"I've done nothing." Ankhselam said. "I have no idea where we are." As weird as it was, Nashi believed him.

"What happened to us? Are we... Are we dead?" Nashi questioned.

"I don't think so." Ankhselam said as he looked at his hands. "I'm immortal. I can't be here if this is the other side. However, I don't really feel alive either. Is this somewhere in the middle? Is this some sort of limbo?"

"How did this even happen?" Nashi questioned.

"It had to have been from our colliding powers." Ankhselam said.

"Don't tell me we're stuck here." Nashi said as she didn't like this one little bit. "Is this really the end for both of us? We're neither alive or dead? Great."

"What's wrong with you? Isn't this what you wanted?" Ankhselam said. "I thought you didn't care if you had to go down as long as you took me down. Were you just all talk?"

"Don't turn this all around one me." Nashi said. "This whole thing is your fault to begin with. You had this crazy ambition to destroy the whole world. None of this would happened if it weren't for you. So many people died because of you! Look where it's gotten you! Was it worth it?!"

"Ignorant brat." Ankhselam said. "You know nothing about my goals. You humans cling to the illusion of hope. I was merely trying to reveal the truth behind all this ignorance. Hope is something we don't need. It doesn't exist. I was trying to show you all the world for how it really is. I would have led all of you through this world."

"Don't try to justify your actions!" Nashi said. "There's nothing you could have done to excuse all of the horrible things you did! Hope is needed because it gives us the strength and will to live. It helps us fight for a better future, the types of futures that each one of us want. You think it's not needed? Who are you to decide something like that for everyone?"

"I'm the one that sees the truth!" Ankhselam said. "This is why you are so ignorant. You have no idea how harsh the real world can really be, you and everyone else in the world. Earlier you claim that I was chasing some sort of false happiness, but you and everyone else are happy because you believe in lies."

"What are you talking about?" Nashi questioned as she was getting annoyed with all that Ankhselam kept saying.

"I have seen it with my own eyes." Ankhselam claimed. "Everyone shares hope with others. They keep telling them things they only want to hear, no proof that it will come true. Everyone goes on with their lives, continue to spread these lies. All this happiness they had was fake because they kept waiting for things that will never happen."

"You don't know that!" Nashi said. "It might be hard for you because I know you never had a family. The happiness I have with my family wasn't fake! You're the one living in lies and illusions Ankhselam. It's just like I said before. You fell into darkness and despair and just gave up on life. I do get that life is unfair and harsh, but you only see the world as such a horrible place because you gave up on yourself, gave up that your life would get better. You are only human. We can't keep fighting these struggles forever, I do get that."

"No! I'm no longer considered human!" Ankhselam claimed. "I am unable to die! You saw that I brought the dead back to life! I am a god, the god of life and death!"

"What life?!" Nashi shouted. "You never gave life! You kept taking it! Even when you brought Acnologia back, he wasn't really alive. If he was, I don't think things would have gone the way they did. You're not a god. You're a human with intense magic and you know it."

"You don't know anything about me." Ankhselam said.

"I know more than you think." Nashi said. "I know what you went through in Crimson Unicorn when you were a child. The way they treated you was wrong and unfair. That might have been painful, but what I don't understand is that if you didn't want that pain, why would you want to bring it upon others?"

"Stop this!" Ankhselam said as he didn't want to hear anymore of it. "Why does any of that matter?! What do you want from me?!"

"I'm trying to remind you who you really are! You're not Ankhselam, you're Romero!" Nashi said.

"That man died years ago." Ankhselam claimed. "This is who I am. This is who I want to be."

"It's just you and me here. There's no reason to keep this up." Nashi said. "You're not a god. You're human."

"This is who I am." Ankhselam said. "That other life meant nothing to me. It was one of despair and misery. I had nothing. I had no family or home. Orphaned and alone in the world, this Romero worked in that guild. Working there meant harassments and torment on a daily basis. The me back then was just a child. I did nothing wrong, I did nothing to anyone. Why was I treated that way?"

"Some people just can't see beyond what they see." Nashi said. "Those guys were rotten jerks who thought they were above you. Some people take what they have for granted and don't see that people like you are people too."

"You don't understand what that was like." Ankhselam said. "You might know about it, but it's not the same as understanding. Someone who has lived a happy life you couldn't possibly understand."

"Happy? Happy?!" Nashi said as she felt like he had some nerve to say that. "Okay, maybe my life was happy compared to my parents and yours, but I've had it hard myself. For a while, I hated myself because I had an actual monster inside me! Everyone has a little sob story, but that alone doesn't make what we do right!"

"But it was through that pain and torment that made me what I am today." Ankhselam said. "I had nothing in that old life. I was only a mere child who had nothing and no one seemed to care. What hope was there for me? What did I have to look forward too? After leaving that worthless guild, I began to see the world as it really was. Even after I left, it was a struggle for me to live and survive. When I saw people happy like they had no worries, that's what helped me realize how ignorant people are of the world."

"It just sounds like to me you were jealous and upset. You saw things you didn't believe you could have." Nashi said. "You had every right to feel the way you did, but it's what we do with those feelings that matter. You chose to become this demented madman that wanted to ruin everything for everyone. You gave up on life because you thought you couldn't have a good life when you could have the whole time. It's like I told you before. You fell into despair and just gave up while my friends and I never gave up. We always believed things would get better for us."

"I've had enough of all this nonsense of yours. What about your uncle? His power was the same as mine." Ankhselam said. "He fell into darkness as well."

"But he didn't want this life like you did." Nashi said. "He felt like he had no choice at the time. He didn't know he would be cursed and be forced to suffer for over four-hundred years. You did. You knew about all of that and you still wanted it. My uncle just wanted his brother back. You just wanted to ruin everything for everyone. Everything you fought for was for nothing, all of it was hypocritical."

"Was it?" Ankhselam said.

"Yes. You claim you want to destroy hope, but how can you say you wanted that when you had it with you the whole time." Nashi said. That seemed to have gotten to Ankhselam. "You had hope you could obtain the same sort of power my uncle had. You had hope that Acnologia would be revived. You had hope that you could use his power. How can you say you wanted to destroy hope, you were against hope, when you had it all along?" Ankhselam didn't really know what to say about that. "You might think we're living in an illusion, but you were living in one yourself. I told you that the kind of happiness you were trying to obtain is an illusion as well You would have thought you be happy, but the kind of happiness you were aiming for would have been temporary, only lasting a short while. It comes from the things you do that you would end up regretting for the rest of your life. That's what happens when you give into despair and hatred. You want to know something else? There were people that cared about you."

"Say what?" Ankhselam questioned.

"It's true. There were people that cared about you, but you were too wrapped up in your own pain and misery to see that." Nashi said. "I get that it might have been hard for you to open up and trust people, hard to believe that people actually cared about you, but there were. You're living in your own fantasies and illusions just like you thought we all are. Everything you fought for was hypocritical. Do you know why that is? It's because hope is something that can't be destroyed. As long as we live, there is always hope. That's because hope is alive just like us. Even if you were the last person living in the world, hope would still be alive. Hope is something that not even an actual god can destroy." Ankhselam didn't know what to think. Nashi took all the things he stood for, all the things he fought for, and used it against him. Hope is a force that can't be destroyed by anyone, and even when he wanted to destroy it, he still had it.

"Why are you telling me any of this?" Ankhselam questioned. "You actually sound like you're trying to help me. Why would you after all that I've done?"

"I can't forgive you." Nashi said. "Not after what you did to my dad, my uncle, my friends... In fact, I almost gave into my despair and surrendered to you, but I snapped out of it. I wasn't going to make the same mistakes you made. Someone had to show you what I saw. That's what I'm trying to do with you. I might hate you, but I want to help you. Maybe the world is painful, but not as painful as you think." Ankhselam was amazed. Nashi is trying to help him despite all that he's done. She actually faced many hardships and kept pushing for a better future, the opposite of what he did.

"You really are something else, Nashi." Ankhselam said. It was at that moment that he clapped his hands together and unleash magic power.

...

Hargeon

As everyone begin to believe Nashi was gone for good, they all noticed something. A light shined from the sky and hundreds of other lights rained down and spread through the sky.

"What is this?" Storm questioned as it looked like it was something incredible. As Erik carried his dead son on his back, he too watched it all and missed something for a second.

"Urgh..." Erik heard something and felt something moving on his back. He couldn't believe it. It seemed impossible. "Dad? Why the hell are you giving me a piggyback?" Drake was moving and talking. He was alive.

"Drake! You're alive!" Kinana cheered with joy. Erik was practically in tears of happiness. Drake was alive, and he wasn't the only one. Others were getting up as well.

"The dead is coming back to life...!" Simon said as this was no less than a miracle.

...

Happy

It was happening outside of Hargeon as well as two lights went over to Zeref and Natsu with Happy getting spooked. Natsu shot straight up with Happy surprised.

"Natsu!" Happy said. Zeref was waking up as well with their wounds completely healed.

"What is this? We're alive?" Zeref questioned.

"Natsu! You're really alive!" Happy cheered with tears as he hugged Natsu, but there was only one thing on Natsu's mind.

"Happy, where's Nashi?!" Natsu said.

...

Nashi

"What did you do?" Nashi questioned.

"It didn't work on everyone, but those who died in this war by my power have been brought back to life." Ankhselam said. "That's including your friends and family." Nashi didn't know what to think.

"Why would you do that?" Nashi questioned.

"I have brought death, but I never truly brought life...until now." Ankhselam stated. He held out his hand and unleashed waves that were pushing Nashi back.

"What are you doing now?!" Nashi said.

"If you remain here for too long, you might never be able to leave." Ankhselam said. "You must go back."

"What about you?!" Nashi said.

"I will remain. I have much to think about what you just told me." Ankhselam said. "The world would be a better place without me anyway. You're a very special girl, Nashi. It needs more people like you." With that, Nashi was blown away and left Ankhselam to his isolation. Nashi was blown out of that limbo and was back among the living with Ankhselam gone, possibly forever. As Nashi begins to plummet back to the ground, she says farewell to her greatest enemy. At least she got to witness him do something right for once. Nashi was falling back to Hargeon. People began to see her, but it seemed like there was anything anyone can do to help her. As she falls closer and closer to the ground, she couldn't do much to stop herself.

"Snap out of it! Snap out of it, Nashi!" Nashi was wide awake from hearing that voice.

"Dad?!" Nashi said as she looked to the ground. Everyone looked and saw Natsu running as hard and as fast as he could.

"Nashi!" Natsu shouted as he jumped high into the air. Nashi smiled as she saw her father trying to catch her. As she fell right into Natsu's arms, they both crashed to the ground.

"Natsu! Nashi!" Lucy called as she ran as fast as she could to them. Nashi was resting right in her father's arms as he was able to get back up. As the sun began to rise, Natsu looked at his daughter with pride.

"You okay?" Natsu asked.

"Yeah..." Nashi said as she never felt as happy as she does now. "I somehow knew you would be there. You're always there when I need you."

"Natsu! Nashi!" Lucy called as she hurried to them. Natsu placed Nashi down as Lucy hugged both of them, joyful and grateful to have her family again.

"Nashi!" Nashi looked and saw others gather around with all of them just as amazed and happy as she was.

"You did it!" Storm said, but Nashi shook her head.

"It wasn't just me." Nashi said as she took notice of everyone. "It was everyone." With the light of a brand new day shining down, everyone was beyond thrilled. By all of them coming together, they impossibilities were made possible with hope still alive. The war is over, miracles have been made, and they managed to save the world. This long and ongoing story has finally reach the awaited conclusion with it just in sight.
