This was officially election day in America. However, many americans had already voted with mail-in ballots. Each state had already decided how to handle this. Some states counted mail-in ballots before in-person ballots, likely for the sake of convenience. Others counted in-person ballots before cointing mail-in ballots. Patricia Turner and her nazi thugs had already spent years spreading lies about the "unreliability" of voting by mail, how the liberals were using this to cheat somehow. And now, president Odonnell still did best amongst the working poor. Most were doing better than they were before the arrival of alien refugees, many had been in a much worse position before Odonnell became president. Nevertheless, many worked minimum wage jobs, their schedules changed on a weekly basis. As such, they found it easier to vote by mail before election day. Thus, in states such s Georgia and Pennsylvania, president Odonnell's lead increased when they began counting mail-in ballots. In Ohio however, the president's lead decreased after they began couting in-person ballots. In the end however, it didn't matter. President Odonnell won the election with just over 80% of the popular vote, and won the electoral votes of every single state. He was 91 years old, and not the most charismatic candidate. But the american people chose him, and his vice-president Jed Bartlett, over a nazi. But Turner and the SBA refused to concede. They made up stories of election fraud, of votes which suppossedly appeared out of nowhere. This greatly worried president Odonnell. Although the clear majority of americans wanted nothing to do with the nazies, millions of americans still demanded that Patricia Turner become their next president. They were becoming more vocal, more aggressive, and more violent. The president feared that this would be a bad time, for everyone.
