Chapter 270

.

Killer Frost looked at her doppleganger, one of them at least. She saw that they were clearly two different people. This other Frost had been a villain, Lex Luthor believed she had joined his Secret Society simply because she enjoyed killing people. Eventually Frost betrayed Luthor and sided with Gorilla Grod in his attempted mutiny. When that failed, and Luthor threatened to execute all of the mutineers, Frost immediatey froze her former comrades, earning herself a pardon from Lex. After Darkseid destroyed the Secret Society, Frost was amongst the few survivors. Luthor and what remained had a very brief alliance with the Justice League to fight against Darkseid's invasion of the Earth, Lex even sacrificed his own life to save the world and destroy Dakseid. This Frost only did as much good as she had to do to survive, and earn herself a five minute head start from the Justice League. But now she was once again serving Evil, seemed to have little problem killing others to get the best deal she could for herself in Hell. She was currently up against this other Killer Frost. This one, emerged as the alter ego of Caitlin Snow, and did indeed start as a villain. But she and Caitlin shared the same body, they eventually learned to coexist. Frost became an anti-hero, eventually a hero, and became an artist. After Frost and Caitlin emerged in seperate bodies, Frost was arrested for her past crimes. The prosecutor wanted to force her to take a cure for meta humans, partly to set a precedant about forcing metas even accused of a crime to take this cure. Frost sacrificd herself, agreed to serve life without parole in order to protect other meta humans. In prison she developed her art skills, and adapted as best she could. Now the two Frosts were in battle, it seemed unlikely that people would notice a little extra ice in Antarctica. In the end the good Frost won, and brought her more evil doppleganger to her new prison. Killing her would likely just send her back to Hell, where Evil would just send her back. Frost believed that Buffy was probbaly right, this incident might very well be part of a trojan horse strategy. And it seemed unlikely that this other Frost could find redemption before the final battle. But it was the best they could do right now. And she figured that if she deserved a chance at redemption, so did her evil twin.
