Frank Castle had never been a fan of keeping these enemy prisoners and trying to rehabilitate them. He did understand the logic, killing them merely sent them back to Hell, and Evil had every reason to send them back. But Frank had to excercise more restraint than he was used to, that was never easy for him. But now, the evil ones were being pulled back to Hell. Most of these dissapearences came as no suprise to Frank, or to much of Antarctica. Lobo for instance, the man wiped out his own planet for fun, he was almost certainly beyond redemption. And ofcourse mr Burns, who blocked out the sun and sold weapons to the nazies. Others were somewhat more suprising. Kimerly Bauer for instance. Frank's friend Jack Bauer had never given up hope that she could be saved. Frank didn't know if Kim ws part of the alleged trojan horse strategy, or if she'd genuinly been trying for redemption and fell short. In any event, she was apparently back in Hell now. Admittedly, some of those prisoners were not pulled back to Hell. Jessica Jones' sister Trish, Luke Cage's brother Willis, all stayed in Antarctica. As a patriot Frank Castle found it ironic that Karli, the leader of the Flag Smashers, somehow remained. He was a lot angrier about the return of his former friend turned traitor Billy.

Frank: How the hell are you here?
Billy: How the hell would I know?
Frank: Seems wrong to me. You get this chance, but Hope aborts the child of her rapist, she remans in Hell.
Billy: The real question Frank, are you willing to fight alongside me against Evil?
Frank: I'd sooner fight with the taliban.
Billy: That's not what I asked.
Frank: Let's call it a temporary truce. What are the odds we'll both survive the final battle?
Billy: Probably not good odds.
Frank: I always figured you and I were going to the same afterlife, I guess we do have to learn to live together. Okay, let's fight Evil together.
