How did she find me?

Mephisto pinches Sussurro's ear and says "To be honest, you look like an old friend of mine, and she gladly agreed to be my first test subject in order to assist me with my research. Sussurro's eyes widened, "What did you do to them?!"

After speaking, he observes the changes in her expression with interest. "How is that even possible? Who else can find Faust?" Although he is perplexed, he appears calm on the surface. Even if Silverash returned, Faust couldn't send anyone out to help, no matter who he met outside. He needs to hurry, so he instructs a man to re-carry Irene.
"We need to hurry," Mephisto looks at Irene, and says with some regret, "I originally wanted to leave this bomb at the end to let the Kjerag people. Has no one else followed them?" He asked him.
The butler, Green nods, and then leads Mephisto and the Yeti Squad to the back of the mountain, along with an unconscious Irene.
Only Sussurro is the only one left with a single member with her. The member takes out a sharp dagger from his pocket.
At that moment, Sussurro felt that her life had come to an end, so she closed her eyes in despair and waited for the pain. However, she didn't feel anything happen to her.

She hears some gunshots, and then she feels that she is being carried.
She opens her eyes and the person who tried to kill her has fallen to the ground with two holes in the back of his head.
"Goddammit. That was loud. I should have asked Swire for a silencer." A familiar voice cursed.
The familiar voice sounds above Sussurro. She quickly turns her head and sees Lin Ye carrying her. Sussurro immediately showed a surprised expression, An immediate change from her despairing emotions earlier, "Doctor Lin Ye! You-!"
But, she immediately got cut off by Lin Ye.
"Don't talk," Lin Ye carries Sussurro and runs to the room next to them.
After waiting in the room for a while, he is relieved to see that Mephisto didn't bring anyone back. He turned back to look at Sussurro when she spoke again.
Sussurro says in a low voice, "Doctor Lin, you're still alive?"
Lin Ye rolls his eyes, "Of course, does it look like I'm a ghost?"
"What about Miss Lappland?" She asked.
Lin Ye is a little confused, "Did you not see her? Didn't she get here first?"
Sussurro shakes her head.
Strange, huh...No, where did Lappland disappear to? She didn't go after them, did she? Where has she gone?... Damn, I'm tired.
Lin Ye tries to calm his breathing.
"Doctor Lin Ye, are you injured?" Sussurro notices Lin Ye's discomfort. She pulls on his sleeve.

He doesn't know if it's geographical or Maple. The last Wave Leaping Strike had rather consumed more of Lin Ye's stamina than the usual,it hasn't been able to replenish. Even the gun he's still holding is shaking. Having said that, Lin Ye knows that he can never be as strong as Messiah or Skadi. After all, even if he has Maple and Vector, he is still weak. But even so, he can't let Irene die.
Sussurro tries to stop him but he pats her head and walks out, "Don't worry. I'll be fine." He reassured her with his words
But, when he enters the room, he freezes because Mephisto is sitting at the dining table waiting for him.
