President Odonnell spoke with father Lucci and Superman, hoping they might have some strategy to defeat Evil.

Lucci: Evil greatly outnumbers us. We die in the final battle, we ascend into Heaven but are stuck there. They die in battle, they descend back to Hell, temporarily, they can come back fairly quickly.
Odonnell: How exactly do we defeat Evil gain?
Superman: Evil, like Good, has to take a coporial form, most likely a human one. If we can destroy that form, Evil is vanquished. It will likely be up to me to defeat this Evil.
Odonnell: And in the meantime they will destroy many of us.
Superman: I wish that could be avoided, it cannot.
Odonnell: Do you even know if you're stronger than it?
Superman: I have a plan. Evil will have to concentrate all it's energy to fight me. Right now it is using this energy to keep it's army under complete control.
Odonnell: And you think it won't be able to do both when the time comes.
Superman: That is my hope yes.
Lucci: Many of those who chose evil had delusions of wealth and power. They were gods, antichrists, they won't take kindly to being betrayed and having their minds enslaved. My guess is that they'll attack Evil, which would already be weakened by it's battle with Superman.
Odonnell: This could work. But how do you know that they won't kill you as well?
Superman: They probably will. I will most likely die in this final battle, but it is neccessary. All the rest of you have to do is stay alive long enough for the evil minions to get their free will back, and they will destory itself.
Odonnell: Is that all, easier said than done.
Superman: I know. Good luck.
Odonnell: Same to you.
