33, was it?
33. Sonic is trapped by Eggman while he's off on one of his regular runs, causing the team to, first realize he's gone, and then go find him. Amy gets worried after not seeing him for some time, and convinces the team somethings wrong and amiss with his 'long departure'. Tails finally gets concerned as Knuckles still thinks Sonic is fine. Eggman tries to do some experimenting to see what hurts Sonic and could be useful information in the future (basically torture in a nutshell) as Sonic is shocked to see what range of electrical attacks he can endure and those he can't. The team show up, Blasting down the wall/door to see Sonic hurt and strapped to a protruding and slightly angled upward wall. Amy at first looks shocked and almost heartbroken, before turning into a raging hammer-slammer and fighting Eggman. Tails and Knuckles join in too, but Eggman's got enough research to blast them back as well, hurting them as well. "WHOHOHOHHO! With all that I've learned from Sonic, there's no way the three of you ALONE can stop me now! WHOHOHOHO!" he flicks on another electrical serge, but before it hits Sonic, Amy looks to him from the ground, "NOO!" she jumps up and lays over him, taking the blunt of the hit. "A..Amy…" Sonic squints his eye to try and see her, as the electrical current is still effecting her, she winces and looks down at him, kindly. "Sorry we couldn't get here…. sooner…" she then falls and seems to faint. Sonic is untied by Tails's last minute effort to shoot the straps off his arms and legs, as he gets down, eyes shaking in horror as he looks to Amy, and then his friends. Eggman laughs evily again. "With this new data at my control, I'll finally take over the world!" Sonic then summons the 'Enerbeam' from the power within him that can only happen at certain moments (From what I've learned about the show from interviews, they can only use it at certain times, I'm thinking when a moral lesson is learned or something) and starts blasting and whipping it around. In shock, Eggman looks around to find he's destroying his research, "NOO!" unable to salvage anything, he is then blasted by Sonic, sending him flying outside, "THIS ISN'T FAAAIRRR!" Eggman is then turned into a twinkling star in the distance -much like team rocket from pokemon-. Sonic, with his last bit of energy left, creates a field around his friends and faints. When they awaken, Tails explains that the field was probably to protect them till they recovered. Touched by his selfless last act, the team carries a still unconscious Sonic back to the hub, where they wake him with stacks upon stacks of chilidogs, showing him how grateful they really are for him. "Heh, you think I'll forgive you over a few chilidogs?" Sonic teases. "Well,…" Amy begins cheekily, before Knuckles intervenes. "It's actually more like 80 chilidogs, 20 have a different chili on it, 20 more have different types of hot dogs, and 20 more from that have different bread buns. So let me ask you, is that a few?" "We used half of our savings to get you the different types and flavors Sonic. We're really sorry we doubted that you were really in danger! And you can't blame us… you usually fair pretty well on your own…" Tails also added, as Sonic wasn't really even paying attention, drooling over the chilidogs in front of him. "Uhhh…. Sonic?" "All is forgiven..hehe~" he scoops up a big number of them and just hugs them on the table. "You guys are the best!" he starts chowing down, as the team has awkward anime sweat drops on their heads, but end up laughing at Sonic's eating habits.
34. (this probably won't happen but it would be FANTASTIC if they did do it in the show lol! XD) Amy gets Sonic alone and finally, and rather bluntly, asks him if he likes her in that way or not. Being cutely nervous, she tries to not look him dead in the eye. Sonic, on the other hand, is not saying a word, and looks pretty uncomfortable too. "W-well…" Sonic begins, scratching his head before Tails calls him on his communicator, requesting backup on a failed mission that Eggman had to intervene on. Being glad to be pulled away, Sonic spends the next few days avoiding Amy, worried she'll ask for an answer again. At long last, Amy finally traps him using his kind heart and faking a mission that people we're being terrorized by Eggman. Feeling betrayed, he folds his arms and glares at her, "Lying to a hero that people are endanger, but really, the people AREN'T EVEN REAL is a crime inexcusable!" he huffs out. "Here me out! You've been avoiding me for DAYS!" she angrily stomps her foot. "I was afraid too you know…" she looks away. "You? Afraid? Of WHAT?! You're not the one being asked to answer here…" he looks away again too, as the awkwardness sets in, and his flight response starts kicking in. "Besides…" he tries to rest his feet from wanting to take off by kicking them in the ground (Like a baseball player) so he has more stability. "Why do you need to know this now?" Amy turns to him, hurt and upset he would ask such a thing. "Because don't you think, after all this time, I have the right to know!?" The two bicker over this and that for a bit, before Sonic finally admits, "Well, it's not like either of us even KNOW what love is anyway!" he turns around, still upset as he folds his arms from letting them move upward to show he was giving up, and getting frustrated by this talk… "…well… then maybe we should find out!" Amy states, as he looks behind his shoulder. "Beg your pardon?" She flips him around, startling him. "Kiss me." "…?!" the suddenness of her proposal makes him lunge back, gripping to a tree behind him. "WHAT!?" "Then we'll know…" "KNOW WHAT?!" "What love is like! And if we don't feel anything then… then it's… well, we'll just see, okay!?" "Not okay, NOT. OKAY." Sonic starts to have a mini-heart attack, moving away from her advances. "Oh, would you just hold still?" "Umm.. No!?" Sonic jumps up on a branch, dodging her. "Ohhh, you said so yourself, didn't you?!" "I didn't mean THIS!" They then play a game of cat and mouse as Amy chases Sonic, before finally giving up and yelling out, "If you don't like me then just..! JUST!" she starts to cry, not even wanting to go there. "FORGET YOU, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! AND…And forget the kiss too…." She simply gives up, knowing theres no way to catch him anyhow, and starts to turn around, walking slowly away. In a bit of regret, Sonic turns around, looking sad at her expression and words but not really knowing what to do. "A..Amy… can't we just.. go on like before all this-?" he dashed up behind her, trying to get things back to how they were and not deal with all these emotions running amok when Amy's eyes glare back, smiling. "Got'cha!" she leaps and tackles him to the ground, scaring him to death, before quickly kissing his forehead. He was fighting all this time, keeping his eyes closed as he put effort into trying to get her off of him when his eyes suddenly opened and he looked up to her. A moment goes by before Sonic finally says, "That's it?". Amy looks confused, "Well… I said we would just try it. Why… did you not… feel anything?" her ears bend down, worried he might not have felt anything for her then. "…" Sonic's eyes narrowed, as he got up to a sitting position with her, waving his arms out at her. "Wait, wait, wait. When you said 'kiss'… you meant…. that?" he pointed to the spot on his forehead where she kissed him. "Well… yeah. What did you think I meant!?" She says, almost insulted. Sonic looks to the camera, wide-eyed, before lowering his eyelids and looking upset and disappointed. "Nothing…" he grumbles out, and looking to her, shaking his head. "Nothing at all, Amy." "Well, did you at least feel something?" "OH,.. I felt something!" he stated with so much sarcasm and disappointment that anyone would of drop dead laughing at it. He folded his arms and pouted, "Yeah, some kiss." However, Amy didn't understand his body language nor tone of voice, and thought that maybe he did feel something. Putting her fists up to her mouth and blushing madly behind them, she looked away from Sonic, now covering her face and shaking herself back and forth. "This isn't happening! No, wait, it is! We're gonna get married, have 4 children, and live happily ever after!" she mumbled to herself, quickly too, before turning to Sonic, opening her arms wide for an embrace as she warmly said, "OH SONIC~ I-…Sonic?" She blinked her eyes. Sonic had made a speedy retreat, and was now rushing through the forest, mumbling angrily to himself. "A kiss. She considers that a KISS? I swear, the things i put up with! That was a 'peck' at most!"
35. The gang is having trouble keeping their feelings to themselves, as Tails has invented a device that is suppose to let your inner thoughts be forced into being spoken. Amy, Knuckles, and Sonic now all have to deal with Tails weird energy wave that is emitting out of his new device he wears to see what the others are thinking of if they come to close to him. "This is great! Hehe! Now I'll never have to guess what they're thinking again!" The device doesn't effect it's holder, so Tails is safe from it's effects. However, during the episode, Sonic and Amy are bickering when they suddenly pass Tails, resulting in this funny bit of dialogue. "Well you could of been faster on your attack!" "And what? Miss the fun of seeing you running for your life?" "He was right on my tail and I couldn't concentrate long enough to get an aim on him-" -they walk by Tails- "-cause you were distracting me with your gorgeous eyes." "Well, it's hard to save you when I find your quick maneuvering kinda cute, and besides, I just really wanted to have this fight with you cause I actually get a kick out of it, but besides all that I kinda, sorta-" -gets out of range from the device's energy waves- "-feel like that was odd." Sonic stops, wondering why the heck that mush came out of his mouth and Amy slammed her hands on her mouth too, blushing uncontrollably. "What was that!?" she blurts out. In the end, the team find out what Tails has done and as punishment, reversed the effects so only Tails was effected by it. "I secretly made a device to find out what you guys we're thinking and I'm not sorry!" Tails plugged his mouth. "What's going on!?" The team chuckled. "Oh… nothing more than sweet, sweet payback." Sonic evily snickered as the rest of the team joined in. "Guys! Get this thing off of me!" "Not in a million, gah-gillion years." Amy stated, walking away as the others did too. "Oh no! I ate all of Amy's cookies, I think Knuckles smells, Sonic is way to cocky, HEEEELP!"
