A/N: Almost missed the update because I got caught up in work. Hopefully this longer piece will make up for it~.

Disclaimer: You don't have to rub it in that I can't make a living though, thanks.

At the beginning of lunch, Risa had dropped down beside Riku to chatter on about the interesting news of the day and to bask in the fair spring weather. She had meant to enjoy the meal to the fullest, but she heard the approach of the storm and had no chance to react before he arrived.

Saehara squeezed himself between the twins without thinking to do more than grumble a greeting at them. Risa scoffed in displeasure, but he entirely ignored her and turned upon Riku, demanding, "Yo, where's Daisuke?"

"I don't know," Riku admitted, scooting further away from the boy crowding her. "He disappeared after class again."

With an explosive sigh, Saehara slammed his hand on his knee and exclaimed, "I've been chasing him all week and I can't seem to keep track of him! He's harder to find than that stupid Phantom Thief."

"Or maybe," Risa interjected, eyelids drooping, "you're just not as good at stalking people as you think you are."

"Oh yeah?" Slinging around to face her, he caught up his bag and rummaged in the mess within. "Then what do you think THIS is?"

He whipped out a photo and shoved it at her face, too near for her to make it out at first, but after she leaned back and squinted, she realized that the shadowy image included her—her standing in the beam of a street lamp, and a black, winged shape looming before her.

Her eyes shot wide and she snatched at the picture, but Saehara jumped up with a laugh and held it over his head.

"Saehara!" she cried and sprang up after him to try to get the photo. "You give that to me! Give it now!"

Cackling, he dodged her. "You wish! I'm keeping this for collateral, prin—"

Out of nowhere, Hiwatari-kun appeared behind Saehara and caught the photograph with ease. While Saehara staggered under the surprise of losing his blackmail, Hiwatari-kun observed the image, his expression blank, then declared, "From the angle of this photo, it appears you have trespassed behind police lines. I will have to take up the matter with Inspector Saehara."

The boy's eyes shot wide at the mention of his father, then he huffed, "Like I'm worried about my old man...!"

"Maybe not him, but what about the confiscation of your gear and a fine because of your trespassing?" Hiwatari-kun replied calmly.

After sucking in a breath to shout back his argument, Saehara deflated a little and blurted, "Fine! She can have the photo. You spoilspo—"

"And the film."

Caught, Saehara deflated more, and Hiwatari-kun passed the photo to Risa before nodding at Riku and excusing himself.

"He got you good," Riku pointed out, then turned back to her meal. "But I still think you both should get in trouble."

"Let's go get that film, Saehara," Risa said, locking her arm around his. "Unless you want me to have Hiwatari-kun get it for me."

"No, that's fine," he grumbled, glaring off after their classmate. "He is a spoilsport, though."

"Of course he is. He's Hiwatari-kun. And that's just how I like him," she declared, then dragged the grumbling reporter off towards the school building.
