They are a funny yet clashing pair in a way. Shadow would have information that may clash with Tails's data, but at the same time, they would could work together really well.

Shadow is a 'no nonsense' kinda guy, and Tails always states it how it is, the facts are facts. I think if they quickly swapped data, then that would be where there light interaction may occur.

In other words, here you go! :D

( I won't be able to watch it cause I'll most likely be on my Mission D: but if I can, I'll find it online somehow :) there's always some way to get it xD sorry I couldn't help out much there. :( )

(I couldn't find them in the same pic, because their an unlikely pair so XD here's a shadow with chihuahua-complex~! haha)

The gang was planning an assault on one of the HQ's Eggman had scattered around the place for hideouts.

Tails was trying to get information to find out the easiest entry, so he was typing on his laptop and looking at a computer simulation of the inside of Eggman's HQ they wanted to infiltrate.

"Surprisingly, there is a straight route to the main engine layout, where the villagers are being forced to labor." he had hacked the security cameras, or at least, a few of them, and only had a small time to look around before being caught and disconnected. "But I can't help but think that's a-"

"Trap. You'll never make it by the iron doors, nor through the layers of guardbots Eggman has stationed there." Shadow came walking right out from behind the gang, as they stepped back in amazement.

"When did you-?" Sonic looked confused, but also very surprised he survived that last battle. "And how did you know about the trap..?" Sonic was always suspicious of Shadow, not fully trusting him, but always being forced into a situation where he had to work with him. Regardless of Biases. (Like being a 'faker' XD)

"You're not dead!" Amy cheered, putting her hands together in happy relief. "We were worried…"

"Oh, looks whose back. And iron doors? Heh, no problem." Knuckles grinned at seeing Shadow back safely, but pounded his fist together at the thought of 'barging in' unannounced.

"Hmm… in that case…" Tails began to try and look for another route, as Shadow leaned over to scan the screen, also needing a secret route. "Ah-ha! There's a shaft right here! We can get in through the ventilation like in those spy movies! I think we can get in with a minor distraction…" he looked at his watch, as the X-Tornado flew over head, being piloted automatically before Tails's switched it to manual on his watch. "I can create that, you, amy, and Sonic take to the shaft. Knuckles will deal with helping the villagers head back after you get them out, and I'll lead you to Eggman from here!"

"Hmph, I never said I was going to help you." Shadow stated, and took off.

"A-ah…W-wait! You can't just go alone!" Tails pushed his laptop down slightly to lean up and try to stop him, but he was already half way down there. "Man…" his ears bent down. "Why does he always have to do it alone?"

"Don't worry, Tails. I know his type." Sonic stepped up, hands on his hips as he looked down to Tails. "He's not interested in being the hero. He's probably after something else."

"Oh.. I guess your right." Tails accepted that reality sadly, but continued. "Good luck then, you too."

"Right!" Sonic and Amy stated, as Amy quickly looked to Knuckles.

"I think you should plan a way to get those villagers out safely once we free them."

"Got'cha covered!" Knuckles winked and gave her a thumbs up, ready for action.

Later on…

"Tails, do you copy?"

"H-huh?" Tails looked to see one of his communicator watches gone, and quickly clicked on his microphone attached to his headset. "Shadow?"

"Hope you don't mind, I may have borrowed a bit of your tech."

"O-oh, I see…" He awkwardly smiled, "What's wrong?"

"I need your help."

Tails guided Shadow to an artifact he needed, before Shadow was tricked and lead to Sonic and Amy, as Tails wagged his twin tails and 'suggested', "Well, since you're all together and already here… you might as well work with them too!" Tails chimed.

Shadow looked annoyed, replying, "I'll aid you only because of your service to me. But that's all."

"Yay! Shadow joins the team! All according to plan!" Amy jumps up happily, but sees Shadow and Sonic have an 'unfriendly' history together, and grabs their hands to put them together. "We're a team now! So no death glares, okay?" she cutely tilts her head, before turning serious again. "Tails? What next?"
