TurkAme: Greatest Fear

"What did you do?" Alfred howled.

Sadiq snickered before he hugged Alfred.

"Are you scared?" Sadiq asked.

"I-I'm not scared of anything!" Alfred insisted.

"Great! Then you have no problem going to the dentist tomorrow."

Alfred narrowed his eyes.

"I don't need to go!" he insisted. "And you went behind my back!"

"If you don't need to go, fine," Sadiq said, holding out a piece of candy. "Then you'll have no problem taking this, right?"

Alfred's gaze flickered down to the candy, but he didn't take it. Sadiq smirked.

"You're going to the dentist tomorrow, and that's that," Sadiq said. "But don't worry. I'll come with you."

Alfred's eyes widened and he quickly shook his head.

"N-no!" he exclaimed. "That's okay! You don't have to do that!"

"Well, I'm going to," Sadiq said.

Alfred sulked as he waited in the car, his mouth feeling very thick. Sadiq climbed into the car again and passed on the prescription, snickering.

"I still can't believe you bit the dentist!" Sadiq laughed.

Alfred didn't reply. Partly because he still couldn't feel his mouth, and partly because he had no interest in giving Sadiq any more reasons for amusement.

The prompt is: 'Person 1 is terrified of the dentist and Person 2 is forcing Person 1 to go to the dentist.'

My dad never lets me forget that I once bit the dentist. In my defence, that spray they use was pointed towards my throat. It was simply a matter of protecting myself from drowning, and it was pure instinct.
