Why Nyanta Isn't Jealous
On the top of a green mountain, Nyanta, Michael, and Purrcy have built a house for the three of them to live in, needing to have some "normalcy" to life. That is, to be able to live life in the normal Earth way they knew from the beginning. The house itself changes in the details as both Nyanta and Michael practice the magic of creation and transformation of things - a difficult magic for both of them to learn. However, there are a few things about the house that don't change. Purrcy created those things for them early.
The most important place they all agreed on very early was the porch. It's a small covered front porch with a railing and posts, usually painted white. Nyanta's lounge chair is there, next to the front door, as is Michael's chair, on the far side of the porch. That chair changes between a rocking chair, a high-backed captain's chair, and a lounge chair depending on Michael's mood. Between the two chairs is a short table. Sometimes that's a chair for Purrcy, but most of the time she's cat or felinoid in one lap and woman or fox in the other, so it's not common to see that chair on the front porch.
The kitchen in the back corner of the house was also a "required" from the beginning. Purrcy made them keep it small. Both she and Nyanta were willing to let it be an American country kitchen for Michael's sake, with a window over the kitchen sink. Purrcy can often be found washing dishes there (since the men cook), looking through that window over the world as it shows her whatever part of the world she wants to be seeing at that moment. Most of the time it's the calming green of the mountain the house is on, as it's the only time she gets to rest her brain from her own work.
The men asked for one other important room - to them. It's the living room, or perhaps "entertainment" room, set next to the kitchen so they can easily access the snacks. It was Michael's first room to create, with Nyanta's input and Purrcy's oversight. Again it's simple. A large screen "TV" is centered on the wall opposite the entrance to the kitchen. In the corner closest to the front of the house on that wall is a bookshelf with Nyanta's favorite books on it, and some of Michael's and Purrcy's favorite knick-knacks.
A small vase of flowers to match Purrcy's whims sits on one of the shelves. Sometimes a picture of the three of them on Earth with Nyanta's Earth family from their many vacation times together also appears when one or another of them gets nostalgic for Earth. They know it was Michael when David is also in the picture. Those are from the one time the teen David was able to visit Japan and they took him up to Sapporo to meet Nyanta's family and tour Hokkaido.
In front of the monitor is a comfortable couch. Nyanta takes the left side and Michael the right. They spend a lot of time there, with Purrcy joining them in the middle on occasion. She's usually far to busy to just sit with them, but they have the time to just sit quietly together, keeping each other company. Actually, they don't tell her what they watch - she doesn't usually care anyway - but it's rather an important part of their responsibilities.
On this particular day, the monitor goes from a multiple split window view to a single view of midwife-Purrcy, felinoid with her surgical gown and gloves on. She's focused on her current maternal patient. "Okay, now push!" Purrcy is saying. The cries of her patient are soon joined by the cries of a new infant, just born into the world of Theldesia.
As the volume is turned down on the monitor, Michael casually comments, "Best thing about Purrcy not being able to have children on Theldesia."
Nyanta agrees calmly, "Mm. A world full of children is already sufficient." They're both quite sure she would be both the mother and the midwife simultaneously if she was able to have children, and was willing - which they know she's not. They're both quite happy not having to live through the stress fathers have to live through during those moments of time.
Michael silently agrees the world-full of people is enough children for him to stress over as well and puts the monitor back to the multi-split screen. Each mini-window shows a different aspect of Purrcy and what each one is doing right at this moment in time (or through Time if an aspect happens to be time traveling at that moment). It's the simplest way to keep track of all of her at once. This is what they've always done, separately, but can now do together and truly keep each other company while they do it.
That is, they've always watched over Purrcy. They can do that now in comfort on the couch, even though it's only one of each of their aspects, since they do have a few other responsibilities to be attending to, particularly High Priest-Nyanta in the Temple of Creation.
There is one small bedroom in the house containing a twin-sized bed that an exhausted Purrcy will sleep alone in on occasion. If she's been particularly busy, she'll put that room outside of Time and pull all of her aspects there to sleep deeply for as long as she needs to recover fully. Nyanta, Michael, and Kishi-Mujin watch over Theldesia then, but to them it's often only a few hours at most.
There are two other rooms of the house that aren't really in the house. Those are the bedrooms of Nyanta and Michael. That was rather difficult, actually. In the end, they used those rooms as practice for not just creating things, but for creating spaces outside of the base space of Theldesia. Neither knows where the other's bedroom is, and each respects the privacy of the other in that matter. "Night" for each of them is relative, and like Purrcy, usually picked to be when rest is needed rather than based on the movements of the planet around its sun.
This particular day's night, a grateful Michael sits in his large comfortable bed, leaning against the dark mahogany headboard. He's not alone in that large bed. As he kisses his wife (human-Purrcy) he silently modifies the comment he made earlier in the day. "Second best." His other arm is holding foxtail-Purrcy, cuddled up to him on his other side. At his feet Purrcy-fox is curled up, keeping his feet warmed, the purr coming from her helping him relax enough to sleep. It's a guilty pleasure of his that on Theldesia he can have the three with him at the same time. It wasn't something she ever did on Earth. It's even better that none of them gets jealous of any other, since they're all aspects of the same person.
Nyanta's also modifying that comment in his own head this night, "Second best." He's enjoying one of his favorite prideful night-time vistas of Purrcy: his own harem of all the felinoid and deific Purrcys that are attending to him as he lounges on his Emperor-sized futon. The current number this night is six. Each one is displaying the full complement of his favorite busty views of her. Even better is that High Priest-Nyanta can be a separate aspect to enjoy High Priestess-Purrcy to his heart's content, and all in the same bed at one time.
In a far corner of Theldesia, on the night-time side of the world, small-cat misaki-Purrcy settles down to rest. She rolls her eyes at both of her husbands, but doesn't complain. She can't, but she also knows that it keeps the family harmony going - as long as Michael is left in the dark as to what Nyanta's doing.
Sprite-Kishi-Mujin pats her sympathetically on the head, promising once again to watch over all of Theldesia for Purrcy until the men are done occupying all of Purrcy's other aspects. The two of them have kept Theldesia safe enough before, they can do it again. Purrcy-cat sighs and goes to sleep with Kishi-Mujin's sprite for company, letting the other aspects deal with the two men who are far too happy to have an "enlightened" wife.
