Prompt:
Sonic grumbled, seeing Shadow and Amy getting along so well made him, for some odd reason, nervous…
Tails walked by, cheerful as ever, before Sonic grabbed his head and pulled him back. "Tails. Talk."
Tails looked confused, and blinked a moment or two, before stopping and turning around to him. "W-what's wrong, Sonic?"
"…That.." He slightly snarled as he stared over to Amy and Shadow's direction.
She was laughing as he was apparently showing or telling her something, but they were too far out of earshot to hear anything. He still seemed himself, but was definitely talking more than usual.
Sonic tapped his finger against his arm, lowering his head… "How long have they been talking..?"
"Oh, Shadow and Amy? They went on some missions together and have been pretty good friends ever sense. I needed Amy's for tactical stratagem. You see, Shadow's brute chaos strength was good for force, but Amy's well balanced in both speed and power. I thought, hey! If I put Amy and Shadow together, not only could she keep up with him, but she could guard his back too! What do ya think, Sonic?"
Sonic was consumed in aura that could only be hatred and neverending doom.
Tails stepped back. "I.. I guess you kinda worried about her then.. huh?"
Sonic was used to Amy's attention… having it suddenly pulled away from him…
He gripped his hands tighter against his arms, before letting go and sighing frustratedly, walking away.
"I want the next mission with her. Stat."
"S-stat? B-but you told me to never assign you alone with-!"
"That's changed."
"B-b-but I don't know where to put-"
"Anywhere! As long as we're far away from- Shadow!" Sonic spun around, seeing Shadow walking down the open corridor to the outside, suddenly… heading back down to the underground base.
He froze a moment, watching him pass by, not sure how much he heard…
Shadow kept a causal frown upon his face… and the two locked eyes for a long minute while he passed, before he continued on and Amy ran up to Sonic.
"Hey, Sonic!" she smiled.
"…" he folded his arms, and looked away. "Hello, Amy."
"…Huh?" she tilted her head.
Later, on the mission, Sonic tried to gauge how close Shadow and Amy were. When Amy started saying kind things about Shadow, he fidgeted and looked enraged, jealous even, and started planning ways to kick out Shadow.
Setting up traps, Sonic first accused Shadow of sabotage.
When that plan busted, thanks to Amy's speech of 'he's not a villain' Sonic had to take more serious precautions…
the plans kept getting worst, and soon, Shadow found out Sonic was behind them, and started to fight back.
He wasn't sure why Sonic was so against him, but when Sonic asked him why he was being such a 'goody-two-shoes' all the sudden, he admitted his reason was Amy.
In pure shock, pride took over Sonic, and he fought him for real this time.
Everyone was now worried about Sonic's behavior, as they took Shadow's side, and Sonic was left… utterly alone…
Feeling betrayed, he took matters too far, going so far as to kidnap Amy and hide her in a section of the storage units deep within the underground base.
When he came back to find her awake, she was furious.
"What on earth are you doing!?"
"This is for your own good!" Sonic leaned down, looking fairly ticked. "If Shadow hadn't of-!"
"Shadow? So… it's true then. You really… I can't believe it." she shook her head. "You're the one that's been trying to hurt Shadow?"
"I'm trying to protect everyone!"
"You're trying to protect yourself!"
He leaned back, flinching…
Sweat dripped down the side of his face, and he looked away, his eyes shaking.
"You have to know Sonic… you took this too far!"
He continued to hold back his anger… his jealousy… his…
He looked back to Amy's hurt and angry face.
He looked away again.
"Why are you so against Shadow? He's done nothing wrong!"
"He's done everything wrong!" Sonic turned around, gripping his head. "He's… he's taking who I am away from me… the team, leadership… even… even you."
Amy's eyes widened, but still looked confused. "Me? How so? Sonic? What are you talking about-"
"Oh, don't get me started!" Sonic flung around, bending to his knees to speak directly to her face, as she was sitting on the ground too. "Ever since I went off to fight solo, you and Shadow got close! You've barely noticed me around, and you keep his beck and call! I won't be yesterday's desert! I'm not letting him take over my place!" he slammed his hand down and got up.
"If I can't be the hero here.. then I'll take the longer road…"
"Sonic.. you have to know what you're doing… what you're saying is wrong!"
"What's wrong about it?" Sonic had held this back for so long… it was coming out in waves. "Amy… if I can't be myself… then who am I?"
"You certainly are right, Sonic. You're not yourself. You've consumed yourself in envy of Shadow! Just because he was my friend doesn't mean-"
Sonic shot his head up, a glare directly her way.
…With the rising and falling of his chest from shouting, she suddenly realized what this all was.
"..No.. not envy…" Amy leaned her head back.
"Jealousy."
Sonic pushed his lips together into a fine line, and turned away.
"You… you think I'd fall for someone else that fast..?" Amy stood up, shaking her head and putting her hand to her heart.
"Sonic… Sonic, I would never!"
His face turned sorrowful, as he closed his eyes.
"Sonic! How could you think me so… so wishy-washy!?"
"…How could I not? You spent every waking second with him." Sonic kept his face looking away.
Then, almost with a devil's rage, he turned back to her. "If I can't see you smile for me anymore… than you won't smile for anyone." he shook his head.
"It wouldn't be fair… that smile.. it's not meant for people like Shadow… why does he deserve it!? Why… Why can't you just smile like that for me?"
He looked down.
"…Sonic… listen to yourself."
He closed his eyes again, ashamed.
"…Do you hear that?"
He slowly,… but assuredly nodded.
"I'm not well." he looked up, and then to the door.
"You should go sleep." she put her hands up to his face.
The sensation of her touch almost instantly carried every bit of hatred for Shadow away… all he had wanted was her attention again… he hadn't realized how obsessive he had become in the process of it…
"I was being childish." he admitted.
"No." Amy corrected. "You felt you were being cheated."
He grit his teeth, and quickly held her arms on both sides. "I… I'm…" He shook violent… before collapsing.
"I'm so sorry…" his shoulders bounced, seeing clearly for the first time.
"I just didn't… I didn't want…"
She embraced him back. "First, apologize to Shadow. Then… then let's talk."
Sonic nodded.
The team took a while to forgive Sonic, and Amy made sure to stay close by him this time.
Shadow… on the other hand…
Gripped his own hand tightly. "Tsk." he flung his head to the side, and walked off.
"It's going well, Doctor. They're all on my side."
"Excellent! All you need to do now is stay put. We've got robots swarming the area to surround their precious little base of there's~"
"We still have our deal?"
"Yes, of course! I don't care what you do with Amy. As long as I have SONIC."
Shadow nodded, closing his eyes.
"Then we have an agreement."
"Excellent… excellent, excellent, excellent.." The speaker in Shadow's ear grew grave… almost as if Eggman was reclining his chair,.. lifting his feet up.
"If I'd had known how much you'd want that little pink speck, I would have just kidnapped her and given her to you and solved this whole 'convincing you to join me thing' years ago! Hahah! Sonic was right to suspect you. I'm even more surprised Amy calmed him down and didn't trust his judgement. Whohoho! Maybe she's also turned a blind-eye without knowing it…"
Shadow stopped in the middle of the hallway, looking down, his eyes covered in the darkness thereof…
"I wish you luck, Shadow… with Sonic gone, nothing will be keeping you from taking her far, far away from here…"
He looked up, a serious goal upon his face.
"Anyway, I should leave you to your work. Just a little while longer now. Until then… STALL'EM. Bye bye~"
(But she will be mine or shhheee~ willl~ burn!)

The last SonAmyShad prompt was really good! Do you think you could do a part two please?

Prompt – Part 2 of (x)
The fireworks began late into that afternoon, as Sonic and Amy were trying to ran and block the large flaming metal rocks from damaging the shield any further.
"This isn't helping!" Sonic called out, turning one connecting dome on, but the other one suddenly shutting off. "Something's wrong!"
"Sonic!"
He quickly turned, "Amy!"
She was backing away from some driller robots, coming out of the ground in swarms, looking like small blocky moles as they drilled up and started to move towards her on their little wheels.
"Urk!" Sonic glared, and quickly began to spin dash them down, before circling and taking out a large number of them by having them fling into each other.
He then jumped and reached for Amy as she jumped as well, directly into his arms, and the two raced off to the roof.
"Tails!" Sonic called up to the tower.
Nothing… just the flag of their team waving, since Eggman had discovered the shield, they're was no reason to disguise it anymore.
The two worriedly stopped looking up and to each other.
"Something's seriously not right, Sonic." Amy agreed with him. "It's like something's destroying us from the inside."
Sonic nodded, and quickly scaled up the tower.
Tails fell with his arms tied up, as Shadow's shoes moved acrossed the camera, his gun hilt being placed in, and he quickly shot around the screens and the control panels.
"Shadow!"
He shot his head up, and turned around.
"Tails!" Sonic's attention turned to his friend, but Amy's was stuck on Shadow.
"You…" she moved out of Sonic's grasp, as he looked surprised by her action. "What are you doing?"
"Amy! Don't-!" he grabbed her arm, but she looked back at him, and shook her head. "You take care of Tails."
"…Amy…" he lowered his head, looking serious. "I can't just leave you to-!"
"I don't believe he's evil, Sonic."
Shadow's eyes bent slightly forward.
Sonic's widened, and then looked upset.
"Why are you still defending him!" He stepped forward from bending his knees, speaking through gritted teeth. "Look at him!" Sonic gestured out to Shadow. "He truly is a traitor."
Shadow glared deeply to Sonic.
"It would be wise for the both of you to choose your words wisely." he threatened, calmly, as he then looked back to Amy. "But if you ask for an audience… I wouldn't turn you down… Amy."
She gripped her hammer tighter.
"Sonic."
He was about to go and attack Shadow, but looked back at Amy, ticked off.
"Get Tails… let me handle this."
"What!? Are you crazy!? Amy, he's-!" he tried to appeal to her, but she shot him a look that he knew meant there was no talking her out of this.
Sonic held his tongue back, before shaking his head and letting out a harsh sound. "If he hurts you… I won't hold back." it was a threat, hissed out and everything.
He wouldn't let this go twice.
Sonic moved over to Tails, and started helping him out of his bounds and getting him up.
Amy sighed, and walked towards Shadow. "How could you do this?"
Shadow kept his peace, lifting his head as he side-glanced to Sonic…
"Don't feel you have to hold back your tongue for him." Amy put her hammer in his line of sight, and he looked directly back up at her.
He tilted his head with a smug grin to her, liking her antics.
"Very well then." he lost his smile and put his gun behind his leg. "I'm taking you and letting this base fall. Every brick."
Sonic twitched, and Amy stepped in front of him, as he looked over his shoulder.
"Don't interfere." she whispered back to him.
Sonic wasn't good at holding himself back, but quickly trusted her, and got up with Tails over his shoulder.
"…Be careful."
He jumped out the tall window, going to find the others.
Amy looked over her shoulder, and then charged Shadow.
He was amazed by her boldness for a moment, and jumped back.
She swung her hammer down, "I trusted you! I stood up for you!"
He just kept dodging, until…
His eyes widened as a tear drop went by his vision.
"I cared about you!" her swing also had her head reel up, as he suddenly realized…
The hammer swung down, but he quickly reached a hand up to block it.
"A….Amy…" his eyes shook in amazement.
"I… You're horrible… I really thought… you'd be our friend… that we'd all hang out together. Sonic was beginning to try and see you differently. Everyone was happy to have you around… I was… I was rooting for you…" Both hands gripped the hammer, giving it double the power as Shadow recognized her strategies from the missions he'd spent with her.
He widened his eyes a moment, expecting what she'd do next, and jumped back, letting his grip go.
She swung her hammer so hard to the right that it looked like she had skated into a twirl, but both feet were skimming the ground.
"Now… just like Sonic said… I won't hold back! You hurt my friends, Shadow!" she called up, seeing him on the control panel.
He smiled.
"I was hoping you would fight back a bit… but I was secretly under the impression that you would still have some hope left."
That caught her off guard, as she stepped back.
"W..What?"
Shadow jumped down, and began walking to her.
she walked back, but kept her hammer out. "Stay…S-stay back.." her eyes twitched, she didn't want to hurt him, and he knew it.
When she got close to the window's opening, she looked back and realized she had no choice. "RAH!" she swung.
He caught it again, and then turned her to fire down at some drill moles below them.
Her eyes widened.
He turned back to her.
"You really think I would just give into my darker impulsives again? After what you and Maria taught me?"
She started to cry even harder, "Shadow…" she was so happy, so relieved…
"SHADOW!" she leaped into his arms, and started bawling.
He lightly placed a hand on her head, and leaned his head down, smiling.
"Hmph… you always were emotional."
He looked up, and out the window, pulling away. "Now's not the time."
"But you knocked out Tails..?" she looked confused.
He turned his eyes back, "We're being watched."
"…Wait." she pulled away, releasing her grip on him. "You sound like you could be lying… how can I know for sure?" she looked serious, her tears turning into pain and distrust.
"…Trust me… Amy." he held out his hand.
She looked down at it.
"Amy!"
She turned behind her. "Sonic!"
Shadow gripped his hand closed, showing his teeth and frustration at the interruption.
He turned and peered down with every bit of rage in his being.
"That blue hedgehog sure knows when to make his entrance." he growled.
"Sonic! Shadow says he's a double-AH!"
Shadow swiped a hand around her waste, as a heliocopter dropped a rope, and he caught it, putting his foot through a loop and pulling up.
"AH! What, Shad-OOOFFH!" he threw her over his shoulder.
"Keep quiet. Just act like your resisting me again." he whispered to her, before looking down to Sonic.
Sonic's eyes gave a powerful glare his way, and he knew the ruse was working.
"If you want to save your friend, come to the island with the three silver stones." Shadow shouted down, as Sonic's eyes widened, but anger took over him.
"WHAT?! AMY!" Sonic raced up the tower, trying to get enough leverage to jump and grab them.
His streak spread across the sky, as his hand reached for Amy.
Amy looked down at it, as Shadow's head turned, "You can't. I need them to take out Eggman."
Her eyes widened…
She reached out.
He stretched forward.
"Amy.. trust me!" Shadow whispered into a shout.
Amy's eyes showed her heartbreak.
Her hand… retreated.
Faking a slip of the fingers, she watched his eyes widen, as he fell with her tears below.
