Boom!Sonamy prompt: Can you do a prompt where sonic kisses amy on the cheek and zooms off? Like just for some reason, idk she completes something. Kinda like that moment in bugs life when flik kisses atta on the cheek and zooms off (Sorry this is probably self explanatory)

He's not the 'kiss and run' kinda guy. He's the 'no kiss and all run.' kinda guy XD
To get even the SLIGHTEST interest out of Sonic is really hard and tedious because the 'before' scene needs to set up a ton of emotions in him first.
With Boom!Sonic, I'm still unsure of just how 'comfortable' he is with Amy, and not just that, but his attitude. Is he easy going? Or does he still get awkward and shy about Amy's affections for him? Does he even KNOW about Amy's affections for him?
So there's a lot of things I may get wrong, but I'll try and keep it as close to canon sonic as I can, but again, I may have to wiggle and loop-hole and go off of Canon to meet what you want. (I don't like doing that, but it happens. -shrugs-) If I didn't, then there wouldn't be a lot of 'fluffy' moments like you want. It would be more a 'touching moment' then anything else.
Anyway, here you go~
(It's not exactly easy finding Sonic kissing Amy on the cheek… mostly because it's not canon x lol and now… my job is so much harder xD)
At his wits end, Sonic is desperate to find a way to save all those people trapped within Eggman's vortex distorter that went haywire, making him trapped as well.
The only person who wasn't flung in was Amy and Sonic, because Tails tried to run to the device to turn it off, but was flung into a new vortex that was created. Knuckles rescued Sonic after seeing a vortex pop up behind him, and was thrown into it to protect him.
With two friends lost in time and space, Sonic is keeping a watchful eye out for both Amy and himself, but is right now losing it.
On his knees, holding himself up with his two hands, he hangs his head down and leans forward, breaking in spirit as they have no clue what to do.
The device that controls the vortexs popping up is gone, Tails isn't here to give some friendly and accurate advise, and Knuckles…
Well, he missed Knuckles.
"I just… I can't think of anything!" he cried out, losing faith in himself as Amy watched him break down, and held her hand up to herself, her heart breaking at the sight.
"Oh Sonic…" she looked away, respecting that he really didn't want to be seen like this…
"It's just… all the speed in the world… and I can't use it to save my friends.." he admitted.
"…If only… you could run into the vortex, grab people, and then zoom out before it closes… But then you'd have to be fast enough to catch the vortex, and that vortex may not lead to everyone, and-" Amy stopped herself. "If only there was a way to track it…"
Sonic's head slowly rose up. "…Like a signal."
"…Yeah.. but how would we-?"
Sonic dashed up to Amy, holding her with his hands gripping her arms, looking like he might be getting an idea… "Amy! was Tails and Knuckles still wearing their watches when they were taken?"
"Uhh… y-yeah, but… how would…" she gasped, getting what he meant. "They were! They were!" she turned on her watch.
"Amy! Sonic! repeat, can you hear me!?"
"Dudes! Someone respond!"
"Turn on you're watches already!"
"TAILS!" Amy cried out.
"KNUCKLES!" Sonic spoke right after her.
Looking up at each other, they smiled.
"I'll give the plan, keep you're watch on, and run, Sonic." she stated, smiling with enthusiasm and restored hope. "Run like the wind." she narrowed her eyes, seeing the challenge flare up inside of Sonic through his eyes and expression.
He was more than ready to be worthy of the title 'hero' again, after that last break down.
"Amy, you're a genius." he put his hands on her head, turning her head and moved on impulse.
He kissed the side of her cheek and dashed off, as she lightly and slowly reached up to touch her cheek…
"Amy! Amy, what's the plan Sonic was talking about just now? Amy? Come in, Amy! Oh brother…"
