Inuyasha grumbles on the way to the well, rubbing his ear.
"Stripey," Kagome mutters, shooting him a dark look.
The hanyou pulls a face and opens the well house door. "You'd know better than anyone."
"Rude."
"Doesn't mean it ain't true." He stops in front of the well, his hand suddenly going to the back of his neck. "Listen, before we go back, we need to talk."
She turns to him, waiting.
"You said you love him."
Cheeks pinking, she nods.
"Okay." A breath puffs his cheeks, and Inuyasha exhales slowly. "Well, you need to understand how serious he is."
