Episode 397: Kairi's Unbeelieveable Adventure
Where we last left off, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Meowth, and the Digimon all got separated from each other. Sora was having a not-so-nice chat with the Dragon Deva Majiramon, about how love will bring him nothing but hardships while Riku dealt with the Dracomon Brothers in their Ultimate forms and Digivolved right into their new Mega forms.
Sora was letting Majiramon's words get the better of him until Pikachu spoke some sense into him, translated by Meowth. With a reminder of the past, he was able to snap out of his doubts. Enraged that he was unable to break Sora's spirits, Majiramon attempted to kill Sora, only to be killed by MetalGreymon in the process. Meanwhile over to Riku, WarGrowlmon, Rapidmon, Taomon, Antylamon, MachGaogamon, and Lilamon were overpowered by the Mega level Dracomon, and made a promise to rule over the Alola region as an act to get to Riku, but Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon Digivolved into their Mega forms and defeated the both of them. Slayerdramon and Breakdramon reverted back to their Rookie forms and were forced out of Sakkakumon. How will Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, and Gomamon be able to find them?
Sitting in a lounge chair by a lake, Ranamon was admiring herself in a hand mirror.
"Ooh, I really am gorgeous," Ranamon said. She gave a kissy-kissy face to her reflection. "Now, wait a minute, why am I looking at this little thing when I can use the whole lake as a mirror." A mirror shield appeared on the water. "Looks like I have another fan. Okay, sugar, who is the fairest of them all?" It is revealed to be one of Mercurymon's mirror shield.
"Prepare thyself," Mercurymon said, speaking through the mirror.
"Hey, that's Mercurymon!" Ranamon said.
"It takes not a genius to see the fairest in all the land is thee," Mercurymon said.
"Now, that's what a girl likes to hear," Ranamon said.
"Or I would have said, before another has entered the land; and she is far fairer than thee," Mercurymon said.
"What?!" Ranamon exclaimed with her rage building up.
"Perhaps I shall show thee whom I speak of," Mercurymon said, showing the image of Kairi. "It is the maiden known as Kairi who is the fairest of the fair." Ranamon puffed up her cheeks in jealousy.
"Her?! Prettier than me?! Just imagining anyone more gorgeous than I am is a crime I won't let go unanswered! When I get done her, she won't be as pretty as anyone!" Ranamon said. Mercurymon chuckled.
"This is too easy. No matter the outcome, the less problem I shall have," Mercurymon said.
Over to Riku, Eevee, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon, they made it to what looks like a darker forest. Riku knew it wasn't a natural thing. Without warning, an ape-like Digimon covered in golden fur came out from nowhere. It has a gold ring on its left index finger, a green band on its right arm, has red marks on its face, arms, and legs. It is carrying a large bone on its back.
"Vee," Eevee growled. Riku took out his Digidex and analyzed it.
"Let's see. Apemon. An animal Digimon, and a Champion level. His main weapon of choice is his bone," Riku said.
"What do you want?" Guilmon asked.
"Merely to bash you to death!" Apemon said. "Get ready to die! Mega Bone Stick!" He swings his stick at them. Renamon jumps and gave the bone a kick.
"Try me out for size!" Renamon said.
"With pleasure! Magical Monkey Fist!" Apemon shouted, throwing his fist at the fox-like Digimon. Renamon dodges and gave him another kick.
"Nice try, monkey boy," Renamon said. Apemon pounds his chest as he roared in anger. "My turn! Spin Kick!" Renamon gave Apemon several kicks to Apemon. She jumps up and spreads her arms out. "Diamond Storm!" She showers Apemon with her signature attack and he dissolves into bits of data.
"Gotta hand it to you, Renamon, you sure gave him a real shave," Terriermon said. An eyeball opens and they went through.
Over to Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, and Gomamon, they end up in a desert, but with thunderstorms.
"Kairi! Kairi! Where are you?!" Sora called out to his girlfriend. Just then, lightning strikes down in their way. They belonged to several red sea serpent Digimon. Some of them has a yellow mask and green hair while the dark red ones all has a black mask and orange hair. Leading them is an automated armored sea serpent Digimon with long flowing hair. It is clad in gold and silver armor with fins protruding out. Its nose houses a cannon barrel and above its head are two horns attached. It has two tails ending in a harpoon-like shape. "You gotta be kidding."
"Why can't anything in here ever come out small and cute?!" Meowth exclaimed. Sora took out his Digidex and analyzed them.
"Okay, MegaSeadramon. Seadramon is just a little fish compared to those guys. They fire Thunder Javelin at their enemies. And those are WaruSeadramon. They're definitely MegaSeadramon's evil twin. They have Dark Blast. Both are Ultimate level And the last one is MetalSeadramon. And he's a Mega level. He fires River of Power at his enemies," Sora said.
"Out of all the Seadramon in the world, you can't deny that I'm the big fish in this or any pond!" MetalSeadramon said.
"Not unless we cut you down to size!" Gabumon said. All of the Digimon started to Digivolve right into their Mega forms.
"Agumon Double Warp Digivolve to... WarGreymon!"
"Gabumon Double Warp Digivolve to... MetalGarurumon!"
"Biyomon Double Warp Digivolve to... Phoenixmon!"
"Tentomon Double Warp Digivolve to... HerculesKabuterimon!"
"Palmon Double Warp Digivolve to... Rosemon!"
"Gomamon Double Warp Digivolve to... Vikemon!"
Sora took out his Pokéballs and threw them.
"Torterra, Empoleon, Infernape, Porygon-2, Golem!" Sora called out. His five Pokémon came right out to battle against MetalSeadramon and his followers.
Over to Kairi, Angel, Veemon, Patamon, Gatomon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon, they kept looking out for Sora.
"Sora, please be okay," Kairi said.
"I'm sure he's fine. He has Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, and the others with him," Veemon said.
"I know, but I just want to be certain," Kairi said.
"I know Sora's your boyfriend, but why aren't you concerned about Riku all the same?" Hawkmon asked.
"Because I know Riku will be just fine without me or Sora. He has Eevee, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon with him. Sora would be lost without me. And I remember that talk we had before," Kairi said.
"What talk?" Gatomon asked.
"It's like this," Kairi said.
(Flashback)
"It was on the day that Sora was having his Gym battle with Morty to earn his fourth Johto Gym Badge, when I noticed something bothering him," Kairi narrated.
"Morning," Kairi greeted back to her boyfriend. "Did you sleep okay?"
"I did, thanks for asking," Sora said. He looked at Kairi and he knew she was very concerned look on her face. "Something on your mind?"
"You know very well there is," Kairi said. "You mentioned your little dream to us and I could tell something happened. So, I woke up early and I knew you would come looking for me. So, I came to the lobby and waited for you."
"Why?" Sora asked.
"Just so as we can talk. I want to know. What happened to you in that dream of yours?" Kairi asked.
Sora looked at Kairi and he knew he couldn't get out of it even if he wanted to. He took in a deep breath and he had to tell her everything that happened not caring if she would believe him or not.
"Okay Kairi. I'll tell you. After the Rainbow Wing started glowing and a flash of light came out almost bllinding me, I found myself in a big void. Nothing and nobody was there. Not you, not Pikachu, not anybody. I had no idea where I was. I was all alone in there, until they came," Sora said.
"Who came?" Kairi asked.
"Suicune, Entei, and Rakou. They all came to me and they all talked," Sora said. She looked at him knowing there was more coming. "And not like Meowth; in a more intelligent way."
"They talked to you?" Kairi asked.
"Pikachu?" Pikachu tilted his head.
"They did. And they told me they know all about us because of Ho-Oh," Sora said. Kairi was getting more amazed.
"Keep going," Kairi said.
"The reason Ho-Oh flew by us twice was because Ho-Oh saw it coming. It knew about our meeting before we did. And Ho-Oh knew we would be a couple," Sora said.
"That's why Ho-Oh gave us the Rainbow Wing," Kairi said.
"Yeah. And because I was holding it, they were able to talk to me," Sora said. "After that, they shown me something else."
"What they did they show you?" Kairi asked.
"They showed me the day the Brass Tower burned down. Lugia was there when it happened. Also Entei, Raikou, and Suicune before Ho-Oh came and brought them back to life," Sora said. Kairi was awestruck by what her boyfriend was saying. "Lugia flew away, but the three Pokémon died in the fire." Sora's eyes filled with tears just thinking of them dying right in front of him. Kairi's eyes filled with tears as well, she knew it was painful for him to watch that. "It was because some people tried to destroy Lugia and Ho-oh if they couldn't have them. When the fire went out, Ho-Oh came from the sky and brought them back to life. And you know how the rest of the legend goes."
"I just can't believe it," Kairi said.
"They also told me we were brought together because of our desires to help out Pokémon from being poached and sold. And they said something about us making our own future and I don't know if there's a right way of explaining it," Sora said. Kairi placed her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm not sure either, but I believe you," Kairi said. Sora looked at her and she saw the tears in her eyes and he knew what caused it. "Your tears saids it. I thought it was a coincidence that we met and fell in love, but after hearing about your experience, I don't think that anymore. I'm glad that we met." Kairi smiled.
"Yeah. Me too," Sora said smiling. Sora kissed Kairi on the cheek.
"And I promise that I'll never leave you, Sora," Kairi said. "Ever since we met, I thought there will be a point that we would part ways, but when we came to Viridian City and grandma packed up our things to move to Pallet Town, that sadness went away, because that meant I can see you whenever I wanted." She giggled. "I don't ever want to imagine my life without you."
"And I don't want to imagine my life without you, either," Sora said as he and Kairi kissed on the lips. Pikachu and Togepi smiled warmly as the couple kissed while the two Pichu just blushed and covered their eyes. They peeked through their little fingers. "I love you more than anything, Kairi."
"I love you too, Sora," Kairi said. They held hands and went off to the messhall to get some breakfast. The couple smiled as they walked with Pikachu, Togepi, and the Pichu joined them. They both knew this whole experience made them closer than ever.
"Wow, what a story," Veemon said.
"And it's very sweet," Gatomon added.
"I kept that promise even now," Kairi said. Kairi, Angel, Veemon, Patamon, Gatomon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon continued on to find their friends.
Not too far away, small bee-like Digimon were watching them from the trees. It was obvious that they were fans of Ranamon. The bee-like Digimin has a couple of spikes.
"There she is. The evil one Ranamon told us about," one of the bee Digimon said.
"It's hard to beelive that someone like her could bee so beeastly to our beeloved," the second bee-like Digimon said.
"It's just beecause she's just jealous of Ranamon. But we'll put her where she beelongs, right, guys?" The third bee-like Digimon were.
"Yeah! We're number one fans of Ranamon! We're not called FanBeemon for nothing!" The FanBeemon all cheered.
Outside, Slowbro and Slowking were following the trail were Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Meowth, and the Digimon had gone. As they kept going they're greeted by a Latios and Latias hovering before them.
"Excuse us, but did you two see some humans with a Pikachu, two Eevee, a Meowth, and some other creatures with them?" - Galarian Slowbro subtitle.
"I think we saw them go down this way. But There's something else down with them." - Latios subtitle.
"What do you mean?" - Galarian Slowking subtitle.
"It's best you come with us." - Latios subtitle.
Larios and Latias carried the Galarian Slowbro and Slowking to what they meant. It turns out that they were looking at Sakkakumon.
Back over Kairi, Angel, Veemon, Patamon, Gatomon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon, they kept looking for their friends when the FanBeemon spotted them. They were getting a cage ready to trap her.
"Here she comes!" The second FanBeemon said.
"When she gets under the cage, we'll have her for sure!" The first FanBeemon said.
"And Ranamon will reward us!" The third FanBeemon said. Kairi, Angel, and the Diigmon turn on the right. "Shoot! She's making a turn!" The FanBeemon flew down and they get trapped in their own trap.
"Help!" The FanBeemon cried. Kairi heard their cries and went over to the wooden cage.
"You look like you could use some help," Kairi said.
"That'll bee nice," the FanBeemon said. Kairi turned to Angel. Angel nods.
"Back up, or you'll get hurt," Kairi said. The FanBeemon backed up. "Angel, use Iron Tail on the cage, breaking it. "There you go. You're free."
"Thank you so much," the FanBeemon said in unison.
"We would have been in real trouble if you hadn't rescued us," the first FanBeemon said.
"You're welcome," Kairi said. She went back to find her friends.
"Can you beelive that? Pretending to be so nice," the third FanBeemon said.
"Yeah. Let's make the next plan to catch her," the first FanBeemon said.
"And Ranamon will give each of us a kiss!" The second FanBeemon said.
"Let's do it!" The FanBeemon all said in unison.
They set up a net to trap her, so they get ready, but they once again, ended up trapping themselves. Kairi spotted them.
"In trouble again?" Kairi asked.
"Sorry to ask again, but think you could help us out again?" The second FanBeemon asked.
"Not a problem," Kairi said. She turned to Angel. "Okay, Angel, Swift to cut them out." Angel uses Swift to cut the net.
"Thank you very much!" The FanBeemon said.
"No problem," Kairi said. She gave a cute smile, making their wings flutter along with their fluttering hearts. They flew off again.
"That didn't work," the first FanBeemon said.
"Okay, we'll try even harder," the second FanBeemon said.
"Like they say, the third time's usually the charm," the third FanBeemon said.
"Yeah!" The FanBeemon all cheered. They were chopping down the tree once Kairi was in sight, but it was coming down in the opposite of where they wanted it. Kairi rushed and saved the FanBeemon from being crushed by the tree.
"Are you three okay?" Kairi asked.
"Yes, thanks to you," the first FanBeemon said.
Back to Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Waragreymon, MetalGarurumon, Phoenixmon, HerculesKabuterimon, Rosemon, and Vikemon, they have dispatched the MegaSeadramon and WaruSeadramon with ease, and then set their sights on MetalSeadrmon himself.
"River of Power!" MetalSeadramon shouted, firing a beam of energy from his snout.
"Brave Tornado!" WarGreymon shouted as he cuts through MetalSeadramon's attack and cuts him into ribbons with his clawed gauntlets. MetalSeadramon fell to the side, beaten.
"Not even the most powerful Seadramon is a match for us!" WarGreymon said. MetalSeadramon dissolves into bits of data aong with the MegaSeadramon and WaruSeadramon. And eyeball appeared again as the Mega level Digimon reverted back to their Rookie forms. Knowing there's a chance to they might find either Kairi or Riku, they went on through.
"You think we can find them if we go down further?" Meowth asked.
"We're never going to know by standing around here," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu agreed.
"Then, let's go," Sora said. Sora and his squad went on forward to find his girlfriend and hopefully if Kairi isn't in any danger, he was going to shower her with kisses.
Back at the lake, the FanBeemon were very grateful to Kairi for helping them out, so they gave her some honey treats. Veemon, Patamon, Gatomon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon joined in for the meal.
"Have some honey bread, beautiful one," the second FanBeemon said.
"Before that, try some honey ice cream," the third FanBeemon said.
"Let her finish her honey juice," the first FanBeemon said.
"Thank you," Kairi said. She took a sip of the honey juice.
"It's our most beeloved drink," the second FanBeemon said.
"This is good," Kairi said.
"Bee sure that you have some ice cream beefore you get too full, I beeset you ," the third FanBeemon said.
"I will. If it's good as this, then I know I'll like it," Kairi said, smiling.
"And don't bee afraid to eat that it'll make you fat. That's what always worried Ra-" the first FanBeemon shuts the third FanBeemon up by shoving it in his mouth.
"It's just our way of thanking you for saving us from everything that beefell us," the first FanBeemon said.
"You don't have to thank me. I was happy to do it. I should be thanking you for this delicious food," Kairi said.
"It was our pleasure, miss," the second FanBeemon said.
"Say, how about you eat some, too. It's always better to share with your friends," Kairi said. The FanBeemon were moved by her kindness. They could see that she wasn't anything like what Ranamon told them.
"Really?" The FanBeemon all asked.
"Sure," Kairi said.
"Kairi is so much sweeter than the honey snacks," Armadillomon said.
"That's pretty much way Sora fell for her," Veemon agreed.
"Eevee," Angel said.''
Watching from the lake, Ranamon growled in frustration.
"Ooh, those little buzzing turncoats! It looks like I'll have to deal with them myself!" Ranamon stood up and took out an apple. "This will do it. This apple will show her some nightmarish visions," Ranamon said, laughing.
Kairi is brushing Angel's fur as the Digimon all had themselves a nap. Two of the FanBeemon were up in a tree, watching over her as the third one is picking some flowers for her.
"These are really pretty. She'll love these," the third FanBeemon said. Ranamon approached him. He turned and saw her.
"R-Ranamon!" The third FanBeemon said.
"What lovely flowers. Are those for me?" Ranamon asked.
"Uh, yeah, who else would they be for?" The third FanBeemon lied.
"Good. I have a small favor for you and your numbskull friends of yours. I want you to give that bratty girl this apple and make sure she eats it," Ranamon instructed.
"Why? What's so important?" The third FanBeemon asked.
"This apple will make her live her greatest fear, making it easier to break. And word to the wise, if you double cross me or blow it again, then you three are out of the fan club, you understand me, honey?" Ranamon asked.
"But-" the third FanBeemon said, before Ranamon cut him off.
"Just do it!" Ranamon said, giving him the apple. Ranamon took off to watch and make sure he gets to his task. He started to feel guilty for betraying Kairi after what she did for him and the other two, but he didn't have a choice.
Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, and Gomamon had arrived in at the lake to find Kairi, Angel, Veemon, Patamon, Gatomon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon.
"I hope she's here," Sora said.
"I have to guess, it's Kairi," a familiar voice spoke. Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, and Gomamon all turned to the fairy-like Digimon.
"Kazemon!" Meowth said.
"What are you doing here?" Agumon asked.
"Looking for you, Kairi, and Riku. Naminé, Ven, Terra, and Aqua filled us in on the situation," Kazemon explained.
"I'm glad that they're okay," Sora said.
"They're thinking the same thing since they're watching from the outside," Kazemon said.
"So, what is this thing we're inside of anyway?" Meowth asked.
"You're inside a Digimon called Sakkakumon; the Beast Warrior of Steel. I don't know why it's here, but you'll be in danger if you stay here any longer," Kazemon said. Sora was surprised to hear that they're inside a Digimon.
"We gotta find Kairi and fast!" Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"We all should hurry!" Agumon said.
Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, and the seven Digimon ran off to find her. Kazemon, Biyomon, and Tentomon flew ahead to find them.
Over to Kairi, she has finshed brushing Angel's fur. The third FanBeemon returned with the apple.
"An apple! And a shiny red one, too!" The second FanBeemon said.
"Is that for us?" The first FanBeemon asked.
"No. It's for her," the third FanBeemon said, handing her the apple.
"Wow, it looks delicious," Kairi said. She was about to take a bite when he spoke up.
"Wait!" The third FanBeemon said. She froze.
"What's wrong?" Kairi asked. The third FanBeemon looked at the ground.
"Nothing. Never mind," the third FanBeemon said.
"Okay," Kairi said, taking a bite of the apple. The other two looked right at him.
"Thanks very much. It turned out to be a great day," Kairi said. She froze when the effect of the apple started to kick in.
"Eevee!" Angel gasped. This woke up the Digimon.
"Kairi, what's wrong?" Veemon asked.
"Kairi, speak to us!" Wormmon pleaded.
Ranamon appeared before them, laughing.
"You're right about that, sugar. It is a good day- for me!" Ranamon said.
"Ranamon!" Gatomon hissed.
"What did you do?" Patamon asked.
"All I did was give her that little ol apple, making live through her worst nightmare. Consider it a lesson, darlings. No one is prettier than me!" Ranamon said.
"You witch!" Hawkmon snarled.
"How dare you call me a witch, you filthy bird!" Ranamon said.
"Diamond Shell!" Armadillomon shouted, rolling right at her.
"No you don't! Whipping Waves!" Ranamon shouted, manipulating the water and washes him right at the other Digimon. "And to make certain you little runts don't bother me, here's a little something for you! Draining Rain!" Ranamon creates a rain cloud and water pours down on them. She turned to the FanBeemon. "You three bug brains did something right for a change! Tie them up!" The FanBeemon flew and tied up the six Digimon.
"Sorry," the FanBeemon apologized.
"What are you doing working for her?" Veemon asked.
"Isn't it obvious, Veemon? They've working for Ranamon the whole time," Gatomon said.
"You got that right, kitty cat. They were sent to bring her to me," Ranamon said. She turned to Kairi. "Speaking of which." Kairi was going through her greatest fear.
In her vision, she saw Sora turning his back on her.
"Sora! Sora, it's you!" Kairi said. She smiled happily, but her joy turned to sorrow when he gave her a cold look.
"What do you want?" Sora asked.
"Sora?" Kairi was confused.
"You've been holding me back ever since we became a couple. I was too stupid to see it until now," Sora said.
"Sora," Kairi said, with tears coming down her eyes.
"The truth is, I never really loved you. No one really loved you. Your own parents abandoned you and shipped you off to your grandma's because they were sick of looking at your face," Sora said.
"Sora, how could you say such a terrible thing?!" Kairi exclaimed while crying.
"Because I'm breaking up with you. So, good luck with your life!" Sora said, vanishing.
"NO!" Kairi cried even harder. In reality, she was crying out loud, having her heart shatter in a million pieces. "How could you? After everything we've been through?" Ranamon laughed at her misery.
"The truth hurts, doesn't it, sugar?" Ranamon, gloated. The Warrior of Water bent down to her. "Not as much as being dumped by your boyfriend, after he went through and even after he saved your life from those hunters. Plain ungrateful on his part, after all the love he gave you."
"Kairi! Don't listen to her! You're not seeing what you think you're seeing!" Hawkmon said weakly. The FanBeemon got their stingers ready to sting him.
"I loved him. He is my whole world," Kairi said.
"Your whole world just shattered, because your man threw you out like yesterday's trash. Sad isn't it?" Ranamon asked.
Outside, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Lucas, Dawn, and Azurill were still watching from the outside and Sakkakumon shows Kairi and Ranamon.
"Ranamon!" Aqua gasped.
"What is she doing to her?!" Lucas exclaimed.
"I don't know, but it can't be good!" Terra said.
"I hope Sora can reach her in time," Dawn said.
Speaking of which, Sora could sense that Kairi is crying.
"Kairi!" Sora stopped.
"Sora, why did you stop?" Meowth asked.
"She's in pain," Sora said.
"What do you mean?" Gabumon asked.
"She's crying. More so than usual," Sora said.
"Sora, you got to help her," Palmon said.
"I know, but how?" Sora asked.
"You can talk some sense into her. You're the only one who can," Meowth said.
"He's right, Sora, you can," Gomaon said.
Sora had to go on further and get to her before something would happen.
Kazemon, Biyomon, and Tentomon eventually reached them.
"There they are!" Tentomon said.
"And they're not alone!" Biyomon said.
"Biyomon, Tentomon, you help the others and take care of the FanBeemon. I got the sea witch," Kazemon said.
"On it!" Biyomon said.
"You can count on us!" Tentomon said. Biyomon and Tentomon flew over to their friends. "Super Shocker!"
"Sprial Twister!" Biyomon shouted.
Their attacks struck the FanBeemon and they untied their friends. Kazemon flew over to Ranamon and gave her a deserved kick. She turned to Kairi.
"Kairi, thank goodness I found you!" Kazemon said. Kairi looked right at Kazemon with her all puffy from the tears she shed. "Kairi?" Kazemon turned to Ranamon. "What did you do?"
"Oh, just having her live through her greatest fear; being dumped by her boyfriend Sora," Ranamon said, laughing.
"Ranamon, you're rotten to the core!" Kazemon said.
"Sticks and bones!" Ranamon said, raising her hand. "Draining Rain!" She unleashed her water attack and water comes down hard from the cloud.
"Oh no! She's even more powerful when she's near the water!" Tentomon exclaimed.
"I'll stay here and go help Kazemon, you go and get Sora and the others," Biyomon said.
"On it!" Tentomon said. He started to Digivolve. "Tentomon Digivolve to... Kabuterimon!" Kabuterimon flew off to get Sora. Biyomon flew right in to fight beside Kazemon.
"Biyomon Digivolve to... Birdramon!" Birdramon flew right at Ranamon and brought her talons down. Ranamon dodged and she glares right at her.
"You're not getting in my way, you overgrown turkey!" Ranamon exclaimed. "Whipping Waves!" She manipulates the water and it struck her.
"Birdramon!" Kazemon gasped.
"Don't worry about me, Kazemon. Tend to Kairi," Birdramon said. Kazemon knew she was right and she flew right at Kairi.
"I don't know how she did it to you, but snap out of it!" Kazemon said.
"Sora hates me," Kairi said, still crying.
"What are you talking about? He loves you! I saw it first hand!" Kazemon said.
"You don't know that," Kairi said, tearfully. Kazemon was taken aback.
Kabuterimon has shown up at last to Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Palmon, and Gomamon.
"Kabuterimon, did you find them?" Palmon asked.
"Yes. But Ranamon did something to Kairi, I don't know what exactly," Kabuterimon said. Sora was afraid for her now.
"What?!" Sora exclaimed.
"You're going have to see for yourselves," Kabuterimon said. Sora, Pikachu, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Palmon, and Gomamon climbed on him and he flew right to where they were. Sora spotted Kairi and he was right to be worried, because she was still in pain of her worst fear.
"Kairi!" Sora called out to her and he jumped off as soon as Kabuterimon landed. He ran right towards his girlfriend. "Kairi, I'm glad you're okay!" Kairi gave Sora a smack.
"Get away from me, you ungrateful brat!" Kairi hissed. Sora was confused by what he saw, and he didn't like it one bit. "How could you throw it all away, Sora? After everything we've been through together?"
"Kairi, listen to me, it's not like that! I would never throw away what we have!" Sora said.
"Shut up! I hate you, Sora! I hate you!" Kairi shouted.
"No you don't! I know you don't!" Sora said. He took her in his arms. Kairi tried to get out, but he kept on holding. "You love me, Kairi, and I love you."
"You're a lair! All you did was lie!" Kairi said.
"It was Ranamon who is making you say all that, not me! Remember when we met? Pikachu and I stumbled on the camp on those hunters! I thought it was a Pokémon they caught at first, and I realized it was a person in that sack! That person was you! I couldn't leave you in there, because no one should die like that! And that's when I first fell in love with you! And I'm still falling in love you," Sora said.
"Sure you are," Kairi said.
"I am!" Sora argued. "And remember when you met Ven, my aunt, and uncle? They welcomed you with open arms! My aunt and uncle loved you as soon as they met you! And that was when I told my aunt my feelings of you!"
(Flashback)
It was when Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and the Alolan nine all came to Porta Vista. He came down stairs and into the kitchen only to see his aunt on the table. "Aunt Cattleya."
"Hello Sora," Cattleya smiled. "What brings you down here?"
"Just came for some water," Sora said. He went over to the cupboard and grabbed a glass cup amd filled it with water. He sat down thinking about the tale he just shared with his cousin.
"You know, Sora," Cattleya said. "Kairi is a very nice girl. And I could easily see why you're sweet on her."
"Aunt Cattleya," Sora said. "It isn't like that."
"Don't try to hide it," Cattleya said. "You cannot fool me. I saw it back in the diner when you two were looking at each other. And when you were holding hands." Sora blushed at that and Cattleya giggled. "I thought for sure that you two would have become a couple by now."
"Well I..." Sora stammered.
"I even heard that you saved her life when you met," Cattleya said.
"She told you, didn't she?" Sora asked as he now knew that she knew.
"I was pretty surprised," Cattleya said. "But I have to say that it was a very brave thing."
"I didn't even know she was there at first," Sora said. Cattleya stood up from her chair and hugged her nephew. Sora hugged her back.
"Maybe so," Cattleya said. "It was a very good thing you've done for her. Her gallant knight coming to her aid."
Sora looked up to his aunt and blushed.
"Aunt Cattleya," Sora said.
"I would like to hear how you feel about her," Cattleya said.
"Well she's sweet and kind for one thing," Sora started. "I always liked it when she smiles. When she cooks, it's like when mom cooks. And when she sleeps, she's so peaceful."
"That doesn't answer how you feel," Cattleya said. "You can tell me."
Sora sighed as he knew that he can't hide it from his aunt.
"Okay you broke me," Sora caved in. "I do love her. There I've said it. But I don't know if she loves me."
"But you'll never know unless you tell her," Cattleya said. Sora looked at her. "I won't tell you to confess; but you should tell her when you feel that it's right."
"Thanks for that, Aunt Cattleya," Sora hugged hus aunt again. "I love you."
"And I love you," Cattleya said returning the hug.
(Flashback ends)
"She was the first person I have ever told about my feelings of love, Kairi," Sora said. Kairi felt his words get to her since she remembered telling his aunt about her feelings.
(Flashback)
It was back in Porta Vista. Kairi had stepped out to use the bathroom. On her way back, she took a look at some of the pictures on the wall. Some of them with Danny and Cattleya when they were younger and many of Sora and Ventus while they were little; especially their baby pictures. Kairi started to gush at how cute Sora was as a baby.
There was also one one with Delia along what appears to be Sora's father on the day of their wedding. She figured that out by looking at his face; he was a spitting image of Sora. And he had the same crown necklace. Both of Sora's parents looked so happy. Unknown to Kairi, Cattleya was standing right behind her. She gently tapped on her back getting her attention.
"Oh! Hi," Kairi said. "I didn't know you were back there."
"It's okay," Cattleya said kindly. "I was just on my way down for some tea when I saw you looking at our little gallery. Would you like to join me?"
"Okay," Kairi nodded.
Over to Danny's Bay of Burgers, he took out a couple of Pokéballs and let out a couple of Pinsir to do some damage.
"Okay Pinsir," Floyd said. "Cause some damage!"
Both Pinsir clamps its pincers thrice as it charged right in to cause some destruction.
Back at the house, Cattleya had poured some tea for heself and for Kairi. She sat down in the chair next to her and handed her a cup. Kairi took a small sip once she put in some cream for flavor.
"I would like to know," Cattleya said. "How did you and Sora meet?" Kairi paused when she was asked that. She looked at her cup for a moment but she didn't want to lie about their meeting, so she didn't.
"Sora actually saved my life when we first met," Kairi admitted.
"Saved your life?" She questioned. "What happened?"
"It started when I was doing a nature walk just outside of Viridian City when I spotted a Caterpie in a cage," Kairi started. "I couldn't leave her in the cage, so I broke the lock with a rock and the Caterpie got away. And that's when two Pokémon hunters grabbed me from behind and tied my hands and gagged me. They even kicked me at some point. They told me that they were going to kill me once they were done in the area. Sora had a run-in with the same hunters. He found me in their camp in a burlap sack and we tried to make a break for it. But that's when they sent their flock of Spearow after us. Sora's Pikachu ended up getting hurt bad by them. Sora was willing to give his life for Pikachu. Pikachu jumped out my arms and ran towards Sora and let out a powerful electric attack sending the hunters and their Spearow back. But we manged to get him to a Pokémon Center on time."
"Delia never mentioned anything about that," Cattleya said surprised and worried.
"She doesn't know about that," Kairi said. "Sora didn't want her to worry. And I don't want Sora to get in trouble for it."
"But does your mother and father know about it?" she asked.
"They died when I was just a baby," Kairi said sadly. "I lived with my grandma for my life. She even said that it was okay for me to go with Sora. And we've been traveling together since."
Cattleya was sad for the girl about her dead parents, but she smiled feeling proud that Sora had displayed some courage not only for some Pokémon, but for her as well.
"I have a question for you to answer," Cattleya said. "And you don't have to answer if you don't want to."
"What is it?" Kairi asked in curiosity.
"Do you love my nephew?" Cattleya asked. Kairi blushed at how she could be asked that. "I said that you don't have to answer if you don't want. But, I can tell how much Sora has feelings for you. I could tell by how my sister-in-law described you."
Kairi took a pretty big sigh.
"I might as well answer it," Kairi said. "I do love him. I've been in love with Sora ever since we met. Ever since he saved me from those hunters. And how I got jealous at how other girls would flirt with him. I even blushed when he called me a princess that one time. I don't know if he does like you said."
"Well, a knight's blood is flowing in his veins," Cattleya said. "And you would have to see for yourself though. I can only hope one day, Ventus will have a very special girl of his own and bring her here just so my husband and I can meet her." Kairi didn't know how to respond when Cattleya kissed her on the forehead. "But I do want you to think of me as your aunt, Kairi."
Kairi smiled at that. She hugged Cattleya knowing Sora's aunt loves her as much as she loves her son and nephew. She only knew his relatives for a short time and she was already treated like family.
(Flashback ends)
"I spoke with her about my feelings with her," Kairi said.
"And remember that night of our first real kiss?" Sora asked. Kairi remembered her confession of love well.
"I love you, Sora. I've been in love with you from the day when you saved my life from those awful hunters. From the day we met. I want you to know that I love you with all my heart and soul," Kairi said in her memories.
"And I remember our first real kiss being like this," Sora said, kissing Kairi on her lips. It was just as passionate as their first kiss. She kisses him right back.
Outside, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Lucas, Dawn, and Azurill were watching Sora and Kairi kissing each other.
"Sora, Kairi," Dawn said, blushing.
Slowbro, Slowking, Latios, and Latias were also watching. Latias was giggling all giddy. Out from the ground, came a tortoise-like Pokémon that with gray and orange spots on it along with a reddish-brownish color. It also has metal bangles on all four of its legs, four metal claws attached to its feet, an iron mask and orange eyes, and also possesses gray and yellow spots all over its body along with a gray underside. This Pokémon is Heatran. It was seeing the kiss as well. In the grass nearby, a small, white hedgehog-like Pokémon. It has green grass-like fur on its back and a pink flower with two leaves on each side of its head. This Pokémon is a Shaymin.
Back at the lake, the Digimon were satisfied to see Sora and Kairi making up. The same for Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth. Pikachu and Angel held each other. Ranamon was filled with rage, knowing her plan failed greatly. They parted lips, with Kairi back to normal.
"Sora, I'm so sorry for all those awful things I said. I should have known you would never say and do any of those things," Kairi said.
"You have nothing to be sorry about, Kairi. None of it was your fault," Sora said.
"I'm happy that you forgive me, Sora," Kairi said. Ranamon growled.
"You ruined my plans for the last time! I'm going to enjoy killing you both!" Ranamon shouted.
"I don't think so!" Kazemon said. "Hurricane Wave!" She unleashed her wind attack at the Warrior of Water. "Try this on for size! Tempest Twist!" She performs a handstand and unleashes a whirlwind kick. THat really pissed her off.
"Why you poor excuse for a fairy! I'll pay for that!" Ranamon hissed.
"Oh yeah?" Kazemon asked. She started to transform. "Kazemon Slide Evolution... Zephyrmon!"
"She's pretty!" The FanBeemon said in awe.
"Oh, please! Ranamon Slide Evolution... Calamramon!" She laughed evilly. "How do you like that, sugar?"
"Ugly!" The FanBeemon said, repulsed by her appearence. Zephyrmon lands a kick onto her as Calmaramon grabs her with a tentacle.
"Let's how well you swim!" Calmaramon said. She sinks down and then comes back up for air. "Let's see how pretty you are after I'm done with you! And after I'm done you, I'll be going after that little bitch and her man!" Calmaramon said.
"I won't let you near them!" Zephyrmon said.
"Try and stop me!" Calmaramon said, throwing her in the water. "It's time I clipped your wings for good!" Her humanoid half sinks into her squid-like body and heads right up. "Titanic Tempest! She spins around and around. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Blissey!" Kairi called out. Blissey came on out. "Egg Bomb!" Blissey took her egg and threw it at Calmaramon and it struck the Beast Warrior of Water, breaking her concentration.
"Why you little!" Calmaramon shouted. "How dare you distract me!"
"And how dare you manipulate me into believing that Sora didn't love me!" Kairi said. "You are a bitter woman, Calmaramon! You took my love for Sora and used it against me! I will never forgive you for that!"
"Save it for someone who actually cares, sugar! You won't be so pretty when I get done with you! Acid Ink!" Calmaramon shouted, spewing her ink at Kairi. Sora gets in front of her to shield her, but the FanBeemon gets in front of them and they take the hit.
"FanBeemon!" Kairi gasped. They fell to the ground.
"Why you little traitors! You are so out of my fan club!" Calmaramon said.
"We quit anyway," the first FanBeemon said. She was surprised to hear that.
"What?! You quit?! You ungrateful little insects! I'm going to rip your wings off for your disloyalty!" Calmaramon said.
"You go ahead! We're not afraid!" The second FanBeemon said.
"We'll rather be smashed against a car window than be pushed around by you!" The third FanBeemon said.
"Why would you side with her over me?" Calmaramon asked.
"Kairi helped us when we were in trouble," the second FanBeemon said.
"And she was sweet to us," the first FanBeemon said.
"She doesn't go around and demand for any favors like you!" The third FanBeemon said.
"If you wanna die that badly, then I'll give it to you!" Calmaramon said, preparing to attack them. Zephyrmon flew right in front of her.
"Not going to happen! Hurricane Gale!" Zephyrmon shouted, unleashing her wind attack and it struck Calmaramon.
"This isn't supposed to be happening!" Calmaramon yelled, reaching the other side of the lake.
"Oh, but it is! And now, it's time to end it!" Zephyrmon said. She Plasma Paws!" Zephyrmon shouted, coming right at Calmaramon, striking her hard. She screams in pain as she reverts back into Ranamon.
"I'm too beautiful to die!" Ranamon shouted as she dissolved into bits of data.
"See ya, sugar," Zephyrmon said, reverting back to Kazemon.
"We won't be seeing her again anytime soon," Meowth said.
"And that's a good sign," Agumon said.
"Now that we're together again, we have Riku and the rest of the Digimon to find," Sora said.
"We sure do," Kairi agreed. She took Sora by the hand. "Sora, again, I just wanna say I'm sorry for what I said. I feel terrible for forgetting our promise back in Ectruteak City."
"Kairi, I already told you, it's okay," Sora said.
"No, it's not okay. I feel awful for those things. Even when Ranamon had tricked me, I should have known better," Kairi said, starting to cry again. Sora took her in his arms.
"Kairi, I love you no matter what. Nothing and no one is ever going to change it. That I can promise you," Sora said. Kairi looked right at her boyfriend and saw how he was being so sincere. "If it makes us even I was close to doubting us too, but that was until Pikachu snapped me out of it." Kairi looked right at Pikachu and the mouse Pokémon nodded.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said. Kairi smiled at Pikachu.
"Thank you for helping him for me, Pikachu," Kairi said. Pikachu went over to Sora and Kairi, joining the embrace. Angel did the same thing. The Digimon all saw how sweet it was. The FanBeemon were just as moved. They all looked at each other and they bowed their heads in forgiveness.
"We're sorry for what we did, Miss Kairi," the first FanBeemon said.
"We were only ddoing what Ranamon told us," the third FanBeemon said.
"We thought you were bad, but after what you did for us, we know we were wrong," the second FanBeemon said.
"We're hoping that you'll forgive us," the FanBeemon all said at once.
"You three have nothing to be sorry about. I'm grateful that you risked your lives to save mine," Kairi said. "I doubt Ranamon has ever said this to you, but you're very brave and you're also cute." The FanBeemon all smiled warmly for being called brave and cute, something Ranamon has never ever done before.
With the battle with Ranamon completed, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and their Digimon friends set out to find Riku, Eevee, and the rest of the Digimon. They could only hope nothing else can go wrong. That is until their next fight.
