Episode 408: Dawn of a Royal Day
On the way to Lake Valor for the Grand Festival, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were traveling and training for the big event. Sora was training hard for the Sinnoh Pokémon League. In the process, Voltorb has evolved into an Electrode.
Kairi was trying to decide on which one of her Pokémon she was going to use for the first round of the Grand Festival. As they were training, a couple of girls with two small Pokémon had approached both of Sora and Kairi. One of them that resembles a deer fawn. The pelt on it is coat is pink. It has a yellow flower on its head. Another resembles a fully grown deer with antlers like a reindeer. It has pink flowers on its twig-like antlers.
"Excuse us," one of the girls spoke. The group turned to see her.
"We were wondering if you would like to have a tag battle with us," the other girl said.
"We were on our way to Lake Valor to participate in the Grand Festival, so why not?" Kairi said.
"How wonderful, because my Deerling could use a warm-up," the first girl said.
"As well as my Sawsbuck," the second girl said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned them both.
Deerling, the Season Pokémon
Type: Normal/Grass
Depending greatly on the seasons, Deerling changes its color to match the seasons. People uses them to mark the year. Flowery pink matches with the pink flowers in spring. Lush green matches with the summer leaves. Brilliant orange matches with the leaves in autumn. And dull brown matches with winter. When Deerling senes hostility, it will hide in the grass.
Sawsbuck, the Season Pokémon
The evolved form of Deerling
Type: Normal/Grass
They migrate according to the seasons. People can tell the season by looking at Sawsbuck's horns. The leaders of the herd possess magnificent horns. In spring, Sawsbuck's antlers has pink flowers. In summer, Its antlers has leaves on them like trees. In autumn, the leaves become orange. And in winter, the antlers become completely white and it gathers drifts of snow around its neck and hooves.
"Pokémon that can change with the time of year. Now that's something," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. "I can take you up on that offer, too," Sora said.
"Great! We'll be using Deerling and Sawsbuck of course!" The second girl sasaid.
"Fine with us," Kairi said. The couple each took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Flareon!" Kairi called out. Flareon has entered the battle.
"Go! Lucario!" Sora called out. Lucario has entered the battle alongside Flareon.
Unknown to anyone, a young man with blue eyes and black hair. He wore a black jacket that he keeps unzippe withskull buttons, zipper tag and sequin details on the pockets. The jacket has leopard print on the inside. Underneath, he wore a steel gray shirt with skull prints. He wore black cropped trousers and black buckled boots with red soles along with a black motorcycle glovelet on his left hand. He was looking at the battle closely.
"It's him," the young man said. "The son father told me about." He took out a photo of Sora's father and his father. With him is a rapidly aging man with gray hair and green eyes. He wore a black suit with thin white stripes and a black cape. He wore a gold knee guard on his right leg and black shoes. He is holding a cane to walk, and wore a silver, hornlike crown on the right side of his head, held behind his ear. He looked right at the battle about to begin.
"You have the first move," the second girl said.
"Flareon! Use Fire Fang!" Kairi ordered.
"Lucario! Use Force Palm!" Sora ordered. Lucario came at Deerling with Force Palm as Flareon comes right at Sawsbuck with Fire Fang.
"Deerling! Dodge and use Jump Kick!" The girl ordered.
"Sawsbuck! Use Megahorn!" The second girl ordered.
"Deerling jumped in the air to land a kick as Sawsbuck came at Flareon with Megahorn.
"Lucario! Use Double Team!" Sora ordered.
"Flareon! Dodge and use Flamethrower!" Kairi ordered. Flareon avoids Megahorn and unleashed Flamethrower at the evolved season Pokémon. "Flareon! Use Quick Attack!" Flareon dashed right at Sawsbuck and landed a hit. "Now, use Flame Charge!" Flareon darts right at Sawsbuck.
"Deerling! Unleash Bullet Seed!" The first girl ordered. Deerling fires Bullet Seed to find the real Lucario.
"Lucario! Use Bone Rush!" Sora ordered. Lucario swings a bone around and blocks Bullet Seed. "Now, use Aura Sphere!" Lucario unleashed Aura Sphere and it struck Deerling hard. The girl gasped.
"Dear, Deerling!" The first girl gasped.
"Force Palm!" Sora ordered. Lucario lands a hit with Force Palm, earning a knockout.
"Sawsbuck! Use Horn Leech!" The second girl ordered. Sawsbuck lowers its head and its horns become surrounded in orange. Sawsbuck'shorns then start to glow gold and it charges at Glareon with its horns pointed athim.
"Flareon! Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Flareon dodges with Quick Attack being faster than before thanks to Flame Charge. "Now, use Flamethrower!" Flareon fires Flamethrower right at Sawsbuck and lands a hit. This earned a knockout.
"Way to go, Flareon!" Kairi praised.
"You too, Lucario!" Sora said.
"Cario," Lucario said.
"Flare," Flareon said.
The young man was impressed by how well he battled. He wanted to put Sora's skills to the test.
A litte later after the battle, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu. Angel, and Meowth continued on towards Lake Valor. Along the way, they made it to Arrowroot Town and they saw all sorts of Coordinators training for the final Contest. There were some Pokémon there that the group hasn't come across while in Sinnoh. One of the Pokémon is a small bipedal feline Pokémonthat has circular, unblinking pinkish-purple eyes with round deep purple pupils. Its body is covered in lavender-colored fur. Its paws and ears are tipped with white fur, and it has a short curled tail. Beneath its folded ears are yellow ring-shaped glands that contain its psychic powers. Also there's a seem to be completely inverse of each other; one of them is mainly deep blue-colored with some white patches, while the other is mainly white-colored with some deep blue patches. appearance which indicates their gender: the blue one has long, upright, fluffy tails, while the white one has shorter curled tails. There's a trainer with a bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon that bears a resemblance to chipmunks, groundhogs, and meerkats. It has small black eyes surrounded by hypnotic red and yellow rings. It is mainly rust-colored, with its puffy cheeks and neck a light beige color, and yellow stripes wrapping around its torso and tail. Its front and hind paws are white, as is the furry tip of its tail. Its arms seem to be crossed over its chest, possibly hiding a white tuft of fur. The yellow patterns on its chest resemble a worker's yellow safety vest. Watchog uses bio-luminescence to illuminate its eyes and the yellow patterns on its body. Another is a is a birdlike Pokémon that resembles a vulture or buzzard. Its head and neck are featherless and pink, with a gray beak, while its body is covered in dingy brown ruffled feathers. It has slightly squinted eyes with dark eye-shadow and red pupils, and it appears to be grinning mischievously, giving it a sinister look. It has a ponytail-like tuft of feathers atop her head, adorned with a small bone. It has a sandy brown ruff of feathers around her neck, and a skirt made of bones around her waist. Its legs and talons are pinkish with sharp black claws. Another is a large six-winged insectile Pokémon that resembles a fiery moth. It has a small black face and a segmented black abdomen. It has two beady, diamond-shaped blue eyes and two segmented red feelers or antennae on either side of its head. It has a fluffy ruff of white fur covering its chest and back, and four stubby arms tucked inward. It has light teal outer sections on its abdomen. It has six magnificent fiery orange wings that allow it to fly. Its entire body, including its wings, are speckled with black dots that resemble cinders.
"Hey, what Pokémon are those?" Agumon asked.
"Okay, here," Sora said, taking out his Pokédex.
Espurr, the Restraint Pokémon
Type: Psychic
The organ that emits its intense psychic power is sheltered by its ears to keep power from leaking out. It has enough psychic energy to blast everything within 300 feet of itself, but it has no control over its power.
Meowstic, the Constraint Pokémon
The evolved form of Espurr
Type: Psychic
Revealing the eyelike patterns on the insides of its ears will unleash its psychic powers. It normally keeps the patterns hidden, however. Females are a bit more selfish and aggressive than males. If they don't get what they want, they will torment you with their psychic abilities.
Watchog, the Lookout Pokémon

Type: Normal
When they see an enemy, their tails stand high, and they spit the seeds of berries stored in their cheek pouches. They make the patterns on their bodies shine in order to threaten predators. Keen eyesight lets them see in the dark.
Mandibuzz, the Bone Vulture Pokémon

Type: Dark/Flying
They fly in circles around the sky. When they spot prey, they attack and carry it back to their nest with ease. Watching from the sky, they swoop to strike weakened Pokémon on the ground. They decorate themselves with bones.
Volcarona, the Sun Pokémon
The evolved form form Larvesta
Type: Bug/Fire
A sea of fire engulfs the surroundings of their battles, since they use their six wings to scatter their ember scales. When volcanic ash darkened the atmosphere, it is said that Volcarona's fire provided a replacement for the sun.
"That answers that," Sora said.
They spotted some other Pokémon there as well. One Coordinator had three bug-like Pokémon with her. One of them is a small, worm-like Pokémon. Its skin is black, except around its neck. Another is a Pokémon that hassmall cotton on its body, which emits sprinkles. And the third one has a round, grayish head with large, black, pixelated eyes and a pair of skinny antennae. The tips of the antennae each have an ovoid scale that is dark gray on the upper half and beige on the lower half. Its thorax is an ovoid and divided into three segments; each segment is a different shade of gray. Its legs are also ovoid and are dark gray on the lower half, beige on the upper half, and have a black band in the middle. It has two black, circular hands and no visible arms. It has large pink wings.
"What about those?" Patamon asked.
"Way ahead of you," Sora said, scanning them.
Scatterbug, the Scatterdust Pokémon
Type: Bug
The powder that covers its body regulates its temperature, so it can live in any region or climate. When under attack from flying predators, it spews a poisonous black powder that causes paralysis on contact.
Spewpa, the Scatterdust Pokémon

Type: Bug
The beaks of bird Pokémon can't begin to scratch its stalwart body. To defend itself, it spews powder. lives hidden within thicket shadows. When predators attack, it quickly bristles the fur covering its body in an effort to threaten them.
Vivilion, the Scale Pokémon
The evolved form of Spewpa
Type: Bug/Flying
The patterns on this Pokémon's wings depend on the climate and topography of its habitat. It scatters colorful scales. Vivillon with many different patterns are found all over the world.
"Wow, a Pokémon that has appearances depending on where it's from," Veemon said.
"What about those?" Gomamon asked.
Gomamon spotted a couple of Pokémon they weren't familiar with. One of them appears to be a cross between a bush and a goat; it has small horns and a "leaf" cape, which covers the top of its somewhat chubby brown body. Another quadrupedal mammalian Pokémon that resembles a goat. It has large horns, bush-like shrubbery growing on its back, and a sturdy, somewhat chubby body. Sora used his Pokédex again.
Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon
Type: Grass
Thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with humans, it has a placid disposition. If it has sunshine and water, it doesn't need to eat, because it can generate energy from the leaves on its back.
Gogoat, the Mount Pokémon
The evolved form of Skiddo
Type: Grass
They inhabit mountainous regions. The leader of the herd is decided by a battle of clashing horns. It can tell how its trainer is feeling by subtle shifts in the grip on its horns. This empathic sense lets them run as if one being.
"And those?" Veemon asked.
Veemon was pointing at a Pokémon that resembles a tree, with bushes around its wrists and on its head. Its body is inside broken parts of wood, and it has two branches on its head. It has a giant red eye, which resembles Dusclops'. It walks on its roots, which look like many legs. Another is a small, gray, rock-like creature embedded with many blue crystals. On the top part of its body, it has long, diamond-shaped, ear-like formations on either side of its head, small, bright blue eyes, and a light-blue crystal embedded in the middle of its forehead. The two sections of its body are separated by a white, collar-like formation. Its underside is rocky and rough with blue crystals protruding from within it. Another is a rounded cell-like Pokémon. Its inner body is pale green in color with a darker green, jelly-like membrane surrounding it. Its outer membrane is thick and has two rounded bubble-like protrusions on either side of its bottom half. An unattached pale green segment floats above its head. It now has what appears to be a developing torso, and two stubby arms. Its head now has a seam running through the middle. Another is a rounded cell-like Pokémon. It has visible limbs and ears, as well as a fully-formed body mass. Its light green body mass is surrounded by a translucent, green gelatinous membrane. It has a large round ovular head with a crease running down the center to the tip of its mouth. Its eyes are ovular and black, and its mouth is triangular-shaped and red with a visible pink tongue. Its internal body mass is relatively small with short stubby paws and feet. Despite this, it has four round particles of matter floating next to its paws. On the outside, these particles form long arms and hands with three finger-like digits on each. The gel-like membrane forms a rounded tail-like appendage at the base of its body mass. Another is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon. Its body is mostly black with a purple face and hands. Its main body is covered in a black "dress" which consists of four segments, and each one has a white bow on the front. There is also a white bow on its head. Around its wrists are white and disc-like. Its head has four "hair" on each side of its head, and it has round, blue, half-closed eyes and a mouth consisting of two red lips. Sora uses his Pokédex again.
Trevenant, the Elder Tree Pokémon

Using its roots as a nervous system, it controls the trees in the forest. It's kind to the Pokémon that reside in its body. It can control trees at will. It will trap people who harm the forest, so they can never leave.

Born from the temperatures and pressures deep underground, it fires beams from the stone in its head. It has slept underground for hundreds of millions of years since its birth. It's occasionally found during the excavation of caves.
Duosion, the Mitosis Pokémon
The evolved form of Solisis
Type: Psychic
Since they have two divided brains, at times they suddenly try to take two different actions at once. When their two divided brains think the same thoughts, their psychic power is maximized.
Reuniclus, the Multiplying Pokémon
The evolved form of Duosion
Type: Psychic
When Reuniclus shake hands, a network forms between their brains, increasing their psychic power. These remarkably intelligent Pokémon fight by controlling arms that can grip with rock-crushing power.
Gothitelle, the Astral Body Pokémon

Type: Psychic
Starry skies thousands of light-years away are visible in the space distorted by their intense psychic power. They can predict the future from the placement and movement of the stars. They can see trainers' life spans.
"And those?" Armadillomon asked, pointing at four more Pokémon.
One of them is a small oval-shaped metallic Pokémon that resembles a spiked acorn. It has three horizontal black lines encircling it, and many sharp green thorns covering its body. Its eyes are yellow and have green rims around them. Another is is a large metallic Pokémon with a saucer-shaped body covered in green spines. It somewhat resembles a flattened durian fruit. Its metallic body is covered in sharp green thorns. It has three black stripes encircling its body; the middle stripe located below its eyes, is triangular. Its eyes have green rims, yellow scleras, and black pupils. There is a green spike at the top of its head. Long, thin green vine-like appendages tipped with spiky metal disks extend around it. Another is an aqua-green extraterrestrial Pokémon with an oblong head with depressions on either side. It has black, symmetrical lines going down the front of its head. On the front of its head are shiny, green button-like eyes. Its hands have three finger-like digits: one red, one green, and one yellow. It has short, stubby legs and a small tail. Another is a tan extraterrestrial Pokémon with an oblong head that features depressions on both sides. It has black, symmetrical lines going down the front of its head. Under the rim of its head, there lay two glowing green eyes with small black pupils. It has a tan "collar" and four dots on its chest of the same color. Its arms have three finger-like digits: one red, one green, and one yellow. It has a rim underneath its main body, under which are two small legs. Sora uses his Pokédex once again.
Ferroseed, the Thorn Seed Pokémon
Type: Grass/Steel
They stick their spikes into cave walls and absorb the minerals they find in the rock. When threatened, it attacks by shooting a barrage of spikes, which gives it a chance to escape by rolling away.
Ferrothorn, the Thorn Pod Pokémon
The evolved form of Ferroseed
Type: Grass/Steel
They attach themselves to cave ceilings, firing steel spikes at targets passing beneath them. It fights by swinging around its three spiky feelers. A hit from these steel spikes can reduce a boulder to rubble.
Elgyem, the Cerebral Pokémon
Type: Psychic
Rumors of its origin are linked to a UFO crash site in the desert 50 years ago. It uses its strong psychic power to squeeze its opponent's brain, causing unendurable headaches.
Beheeyem, the Cerebral Pokémon
The evolved form of Elgyem
Type: Psychic
It uses psychic power to control an opponent's brain and tamper with its memories. Apparently, it communicates by flashing its three different-colored fingers.
"And that answers that," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. "Now, let's get a move on."
"Right," everyone agreed. Just when they were about to keep going, they bumped into Dawn.
"Hey Dawn," Sora greeted.
"Sora, Kairi. It's good to see you! Are you here to watch the Pokémon Contest here?" Dawn asked.
"No, we're just passing by. What about you?" Sora asked.
"Same. I have been training for the Grand Festival non-stop since I won my fifth Ribbon. How about you, Sora? Did you earn your Gym Badge yet?" Dawn asked. Sora grinned as he took out his Badge case and showed it to her.
"I have," Sora said.
"Awesome! Lucas will be impressed!" Dawn said.
"Speaking of Lucas, where is he?" Terra asked.
"Probably at Sunyshore City about now. I told him I was going to meet him here after he won it. He said he has something to tell me," Dawn said. The group wondered if it was a confession of love. Just then, a young woman approached the group. She wore a purple gown.
"Pardon me," the young woman spoke with a British accent. "You must be Lady Dawn. We've been waiting for you."
"Waiting for me?" Dawn asked, confused.
"Yes, excuse me. My name is Frita. I've come out here to escort you to be crowned as Princess Dawn just as soon as possible," Frita said.
"Princess?" Dawn asked, dumbfounded.
"Yes," Frita said. She turned her attention as well. "And Sir Sora, your presence is also requested."
"Me? By who?" Sora asked.
"You have been personally requested by Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum," Frita said.
"Prince?" Sora asked.
"Pikachu?" Pikachu asked.
The group are escorted to a huge mansion, and inside they are standing before a girl who looks an awful lot like Dawn. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were surprised since they thought they were literally seeing double.
"It's like a dream come true. I can't believe I'm finally meeting you in person, Dawn. You were magnificent in the Wallace Cup. The same can be said for your Piplup as well," the girl said.
"Allow me to introduce you, if you please. The lady standing before you is Princess Salvia," Frita introduced.
"It's a priveledge to meet you, Dawn, Sora, and Kairi," Salvia said, doing a curtsee. "I'm sop honored."
"You know about those two?" Ventus asked.
"Oh my, of course. I have watched all the Contests and Tag battles she has cometed in. There were some that you were one of the Contest judges. I was very surprised to hear that you are the Pokémon League Champion I have heard so much about. And the same can be said for Kairi since she has won the Hoenn Grand Festival. I am a huge fan of all three of you," Salvia said.
"Princess Salvia is making an appearence in Arrowroot Town as a royal ambassador of good will. However, her highness wishes to compete in today's Pokémon Contest," Frita explained.
"Wow, she does?" Dawn asked.
"Correct. But official duties makes her participation in the Contest impossible," Frita explained. "Which is why we wish for Lady Dawn to stand in for her highness."
"You want me to pretend that I'm the princess?" Dawn asked.
"Oh, I do! Please say that you will!" Salvia pleaded.
"Well..." Dawn paused. She has been dreaming to be a princess since she was a little girl, but she never thought she was going to be living it. Just then, the young man from before walked in.
"I hope I'm not interuppting anything," the young man said.
"Not at all, Noctis," Salvia said. Sora turned to look at him. He looked right back at Sora.
"Please allow me to introduce you to Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum. He has personally requested your presence here, Sir Sora," Frita said.
"It's really you," Noctis said.
"Um, yeah, it's me," Sora said.
"Sorry, it's just I wanted to meet you for a long time," Noctis said.
"Why me?" Sora asked.
"Is there some kind of connection between him and Sora?" Agumon asked. Veemon shrugged his shoulders.
"Why are you so interested in Sora?" Kairi asked.
"The thing is, I have been wanting to meet him for a long time. I only know about you through your father," Noctis said. Sora got wide-eyed.
"You know my dad?!" Sora exclaimed.
"Yes. I knew him even before you were born. He and my father were good friends," Noctis said. Sora was surprised to hear this bit of news.
"My mom never said anything about this," Sora said.
"No. Your mother never told you because she wanted you to grow up living a normal life," Noctis said.
"And judging by what's going on, a normal life is highly overrated," Meowth said. Pikachu gave him a kick. "Ouch!"
"Your father and my father has been friends for a long time, since their younger days. My father and I were even there on your parents' wedding. My father was with a heavy heart when he died in the tragic accident," Noctis said. Sora was letting this bit of new information in his mind. He didn't know how he should take this. "You are aware of your bloodline, aren't you?"
"There's the fact I'm descended from Sir Arron, and the blood of a knight flows in my veins. That's what my mom told me," Sora said, placing his hand over his necklace. "This necklace belonged to him. I had it for as long as I can remember."
"I thought as much," Noctis said.
"You wouldn't know why my mom never told me, right?" Sora asked.
"Like I said, your mother wanted to live a normal life. I'll explain it," Noctis said.
(Flashback)
We go back to Noctis as a boy at the age of ten. He was with his father. They are being driven to Professor Oak's lab for Noctis to retrieve his very first Pokémon.
"It all began when my father, King Regis Lucis Caelum and I were coming to Pallet Town to retrieve my beginning Pokémon," Noctis narrated.
Arrving in the lab, Noctis and his father stepped out to see Professor Oak, waiting for them.
"Your highness, good of you to come. And you have come at the most opportune time," Professor Oak said.
"My son is ready for his Pokémon, professor," Regis said.
"Of course. They are all waiting for you," Professor Oak said. He escorted both father and son inside the lab and they see three Pokéballs waiting for them. Professor Oak has let out each one of the starter Pokémon. "Now, Prince Noctis, which one of these would you like to be your first Pokémon? Would you have Charmander, the Fire Type? Squirtle, the Water Type? Or Bulbasaur, the Grass Type?" Noctis looked at all three of them. He looked right at Charmander and he smiled at it. The lizard Pokémon smiled back at him.
"I'll pick this one. Charmander," Noctis said, choosing Charmander. "Charmander and I will be a great team from now on."
"Charmander, Char," Charmander said. Professor Oak smiled.
"It would seem that Charmander agrees with you completely," Professor Oak said. He took out a Pokédex and five additional Pokéballs for him. "And have these. This device is known as the Pokédex. The Pokédex shall serve as your encyclopedia, proving you information on any Pokémon you come across. And these Pokéballs are tools to contain wild Pokémon after you weakened them in battle."
"Thank you, Professor," Noctis said.
Just when he and Noctis were about to take their leave, Delia walked in. Regis looked at her with a heavy heart.
"I am sorry for your loss. Your husband was a very good man. The offer is still standing if you change your mind," Regis said.
"Thank you, but I think my son is better off. All he needs to know is the knowledge of his legacy," Delia said.
"If that is your desicion, than I understand," Regis said.
"And with that said, me, Charmander, and my father left Pallet Town and we began our life together. Me and Charmander has been an inseparable team. I even introduced Charmander to my fiancé, Princess Lunafreya Nox Fleuret," Noctis narrated.
Noctis is sitting in his bedroom with a girl with short blonde hair. She wore a white dress with a ruffled hem and a zipper at the back.
(Flashback end)
"Ever since you won the Indigo Plateau, your name has traveled far and wide. And so, I wanted to meet you after so long," Noctis concluded.
"I can bet that it's way deeper than a simple friendship," Terra said.
"Yes. Your ancestor, Sir Arron and the kingdom of Rota has been allies with the Kingdom of Lucis," Noctis said. "When I have learned you are in the Sinnoh region, I had to come and make this desicion. I have come to challenge you for a full six-on-six Pokémon battle." Sora was stunned to hear that a prince has traveled from a faraway kingdom just to challenge him.
"I guess I accept," Sora said. Both have shook hands.
"We can have it right after the Contest," Noctis said.
"I was going to suggest that anyway," Sora said.
A little while later, Dawn was dressed in the princess's dress.
"Awesome! I have always wanted to dress up, just like a real princess," Dawn said, admiring herself.
"If Lucas were here, he would go nuts," Ventus said.
"Pika," Pikachu agreed with his trainer's cousin. She twils right next to Salvia.
"My subjects," Dawn playfully said, standing next to Salvia.
"Hey, you two can pass yourselves off as twins," Noctis said.
"I was thinking the same thing," Sora said. Dawn and Salvia looked right at each other.
"Who would have thought?" Dawn asked.
"Now then, princess. It's time to get dressed, Frita said, holding Dawn's clothes. It didn't take long until Salvia got dressed in Dawn's clothes.
"Oh wow! It feels like I'm looking right into a mirror!" Dawn said.
"You two look so much alike I can bet my charm even your own mother won't tell ya apart," Meowth said.
"I'm so honored," Salvia said. She took a moment to examine the skirt. "Although, I can say your skirt is less than regal. It embarrasses me a bit."
"Your highness, it suits you well," Frita said.
"True? Well, if you say so, I;m sure that it's fine," Salvia said. She took out a Pokéball and opens it. "Togekiss, come on out." Her Togekiss has come out.
"Hey, a Togekiss," Ventus said. "Doesn't Togetic evolve into a Togekiss?"
"Yes it does, Ven. The Togetic I have is a boy, while this one is a girl," Kairi said.
"The truth is, my dear Togekiss has been training hard with the hopes of one day, our chance to would come. Right, Togekiss?" Salvia asked.
"Tog," Togekiss, chirped. A knock on the door came. Salvia quickly calls back her Togekiss, before a butler enters.
"Your highness, pardon me," the butler paused when he saw the group.
"Alright, dear guests, please step this way," Frita said. The looked at the Digimon quite oddly. He regained his posture.
"Curious. Your highness, I don't seem to recall that you would have any sort of meeting scheduled.
"Blame me. I asked them to meet with them," Noctis told the butler.
"Prince Noctis. Forgive me," the butler said.
"I have a request. I want you to make arrangements for a battle later, posthaste. And see to it that neither of us are disturbed," Noctis ordered.
"At once, your highness," the butler said, taking his leave. Noctis turned to Dawn.
"That should buy us some time," Noctis said.
"That was a close shave," Dawn said.
"Yes, but it will buy us some time," Noctis said.
On the way to the Contest Hall, Salvia was curious about the Digimon, so the group filled the prncess in on the war in the Digital World. Salvia was surprised to hear.
"Oh my, this Myotismon seems rather horrid by the way you described him," Salvia said.
"Horrid would be too kind a word to use for him," Gatomon said.
"To be honest, I still can't believe you and Gabumon merged together to destroy him. I had no idea you Digimon could do that," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Neither did we," Agumon said.
"Since Myotismon and AxeKnightmon are gone for good, peace in the Digital World has been returned," Ventus said.
"But I am curious on why are they still with you?" Salvia asked.
"We wanted to see the Grand Festival and the Sinnoh Pokémon League," Veemon said.
"And cheer on Sora and Kairi all the way," Biyomon said.
"Of course cheer for Dawn, Barry, and Lucas," Palmon said.
"Is this Lucas someone special to Dawn?" Salvia asked.
"That's one way of putting it," Kairi said. She turned to her boyfriend. "Don't you think they make a cute couple?"
"Yeah, I do. Those two are obviously nuts for each other," Sora said.
"From we can gather, they've known each other since kindergarten," Terra said.
"If only they would just tell each other," Aqua said.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but was it easy for you to confess your feelings?" Salvia asked.
"To be honest, it was pretty hard. At first, Kairi and I just denied it, but then, one night, Kairi and I told each other our feelings and we have been a couple since," Sora said, putting his arm around Kairi's shoulder.
"You're sweet," Kairi cooed. She gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek, making Salvia blush a bit, witnessing a romantic moment.
"Well, it was pretty much the same for me and Terra. We kept our relationship a secret for a while, but then we revealed our secret to them after for a while," Aqua said.
"I can already imagine our parents busting some buttons when they hear about us," Terra said. Salvia couldn't help but giggle. Upon reaching the arena, Salvia was nervous.
"It won't be long now. It's almost time. I'm starting to get a little nervious," Salvia said.
"As Dawn would say, no need to worry. We'll be cheering you on all the way," Ventus said.
"We have our support, one hundred percent," Agumon said.
"Thank you. You're all wonderful friends,' Salvia said.
"Let's get going," Terra said.
They all entered inside the Contest hall with "Dawn" getting prepped.
Over to Noctis, he was getting ready for battle with Sora. His Pokémon team consisted of his Charizard, along with his Greninja, male Pyroar, Aegislash, Glalie, and Noivern.
"Okay, everyone, we'll be up against the trainer I have mentioned before. Trust me when I say he will not be easy to defeat. He has some powerful Pokémon, so we have to be ready for anything he has coming at us," Noctis said.
Watching him is a young blonde woman wearing a casual knee-length white dress that has a single lace sleeve surrounded by a black strap with an intricate design. A metal patch of a insignia is worn over her left breast. With this outfit, she wore white high-heeled sandals. With her are two Ninetales; one being Kantonian and the other being Alolan. She went up to Noctis.
"Preparing something, Noctis?" The young woman asked. Noctis turned around and smiled.
"Luna. Didn't notice you there. Been there long?" Noctis asked his fiancé.
"Just long enough to know you're going to have that battle with that boy, Sora Ketchum," Luna said. Noctis smiled nervously. "I also know you played a role in having that girl pretend to be Princess Salvia."
"I never could fool you," Noctis said, nervously.
"No, you couldn't," Luna said. "I could tell just by how nervous she is. She doesn't even know which utensil to use."
"I just hope Salvia is having a good time. I had to since she is my cousin," Noctis said.
"And that is pretty much why I love you, Noctis," Luna said. "How much longer will she be out there?"
"Salvia said she'll be back as soon as the Contest is over. And she'll bring Sora with her," Noctis said.
Over to the Contest Hall, Marian is on stage. The others has done their performances. Salvia and her Togekiss were up next.
"And our next entrant is Dawn!"
Marian announced. THe crowd cheers hardily for Salvia, unaware of her true identity. SAlvia comes to the stage with a Pokéball in a Ball Capsule with a Line Seal.
"Togekiss, enter please!" Salvia called out. Togekiss has come out with a lines emerging from the Pokéball. "First, Aura Sphere, let's go!" Togekiss has formed Aura Sphere and hurls it right into the air. "Next, use Sky Attack!" Togekiss darts right at the Aura Sphere, making it split twelve balls of energy. "Now, it's time for an elegant finish. Use Air Slash!" Togekiss spins around and unleashed Air Slash, creating light raining down on the ground. Togekiss descends on the ground as well, striking a pose.
"Incredible! The rays of beautifully colorful and shimmering light are pouring down on the stage, almost like an aurora!" Marian announced.
"Simply brilliant! I fully enjoyed one of Togekiss's moves!" Contesta said.
"And I will add, remarkable!" Suziko said.
"I don't ever recall ever seeing a light show that was more stunning or wonderful," Fantina said.
"She is doing better than I thought she would," Sora shispered.
"After watcghing Dawn, she must have been taking notes," Kairi whispered back.
After making it through the first round, the group went to the princess and her Togekiss.
"So, how was your first taste as being a Pokémon Coordinator, your highness?" Sora asked.
"I was more wonderful than I thought. I was so nervous. I just can't believe it. My heart is still pounding," Salvia said. She turned to her partner. "Dear Togekiss, is yours still pounding, too?"
"Togekiss," Togekiss responded.
"You have nothing to worry about, princess. After making that performance, there's no doubt you made it to the second round," Aqua said.
"She's right. It wouldn't surprise us if you won the whole thing," Hawkmon said.
"You really think so? Thank you. I'm so glad I came. I'm so grateful I was able to compete in this Contest," Salvia said. She looked right at the Coordinators and Pokémon. "Such inspiring Coordinators and their Pokémon working toward their dreams. I hope you won't mind, but I must confess. I never had this much fun in my life."
"Not really. I can imagine having a nice day off from living in a fancy castle," Kairi said.
"Speaking of fancy castles, how is Dawn handling it?" Tentomon asked.
"Probably living it up," Gomamon said.
"If you say so," Wormmon said.
The Contest moves on towards the second round. Salvia has moved on to the second round. Togekiss has bested a Coordinator with a Probopass.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Arrowroot Contest now moves on in the second round has delievered some excelelnt promise! Now, it is Dawn against our final Coordinator, Marco!" Marian announced.
Outside, Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers are in Arrowroot town, hiding from the Resitance after Myotismon's defeat.
"How much further do we have to keep going, Vorvomon?" The second Dracomon asked.
"As often as the sun goes up and down, but quit your yapping and keep flying! We don't want to risk being seen by them!" Vorvomon said.
"Why can't we just go back home? I mean, it's always nice there," the first Drcomon said.
"Because we can't! We can't go back to the Digital World, because we're war criminals! We'll be put in jail for the rest of our lives! And I don't want that!" Vorvomon said.
"Me neither. I heard we'll be served nothing but bread and water for every meal," the second Dracomon said.
"Ugh, bread and water. Not exactly a nutritious meal," the first Dracomon said.
Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers kept on flying, hoping no one would see them.
Over to Team Shadow HQ, all their members gathers around.
"We should count ourselves fortunate that Team Galactic's plans for a brand new world has ended in misery. Not only that, but Digimon sightings has gone down since Myotismon's demise. And Hunter J has met her end at the bottom of Lake Valor. Another example of why we should not underestimate our enemies. "Treat all these individuals as any other threat. But we mustn't be as careless as Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua, or Team Galactic. The same shall await for Team Plasma and Team Flare if they prove themselves as potential enemies as well."
Back to Arrowroot Town, Salvia has defeated her last opponent of the Contest. Salvia had a quarter of her points left. Dawn was present in the Contest, watching the match closely.
"And the winner of the Arrowroot Contest is Dawn!" Marian announced. The crowd cheers for Salvia's win. Salvia held her very first Contest Ribbon.
In the back, the Coordinator she was battling against sat and sulked.
"After everything I did to get here, I tripped at the finish line," the Coordinator said. Salvia entered the room and presented the Ribbon to him.
"Here. I just want to thank for the wonderful battle. Please take it," Salvia said. Her opponent was stunned.
"Why are you giving it to me? You won it," the Coordinator said.
"I will never forget this day for as long as I live. It was a thrill," Salvia said, bowing her head in respect.
"Thank you. You're incredibly nice, princess," the Coordinator said. Salvia looked at him shocked. "Yeah, I knew the whole time. Wasn't any of my business, so that's why I kept my mouth shut. And thanks. I'll never forget this either."
After the Contest had concluded, Dawn and Salvia has switched back and Noctis and Sora still had their match to take.
They go outside and get set for the match.
"We'll make this a full six-on-six Pokémon battle. How about it, Sora?" Noctis asked.
"Fine with me," Sora said.
"Also, the battle will be over when all of our Pokémon are unable to go on," Noctis stated.
"I can go with that, too!" Sora said. Noctis has taken out his first Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Glalie!" Noctis called out. Glalie has entered the battlefield. Sora made his choice and went with it.
"Go! Lucario!" Sora called out. Lucario has entered the battlefield.
"Lucario is a good choice, since he's a Fighting Type and a Steel Type," Kairi said.
"Maybe, but his Glalie is going to be beaten with ease," Luna said.
"Glalie! Begin with Ice Beam!" Noctis ordered. Glalie unleashed Ice Beam right at the aura Pokémon.
"Double Team!" Sora ordered. Lucario made several copies of himself to catch Glalie off guard.
"Starting to throw me off. I expect no less. Glalie! Iron Head!" Noctis ordered. Glalie charges right towards one of the duplicates and misses the real one.
"Lucario! Aura Sphere!" Sora ordered. Lucario forms a ball of aura and threw it at Glalie, landing a hit. "Now, use Force Palm Lucario came at Glalie with Force Palm.
"Glalie! Dodge and use Ice Beam!" Noctis ordered. Glalie avoids Lucario's Vacuum Wave and fires Ice Beam and lands a hit onto Lucario.
"Lucario! Use Bone Rush!" Sora ordered. Lucario runs towards Glalie to land a hit with Bone Rush.
"Glalie! Use Gyro Ball!" Noctis ordered. Glalie charges at Lucario with Gyro Ball. They both landed hits on each other. "Gyro Ball again!"
"Lucario! Force Palm!" Sora ordered. Lucario came at Glalie as it was using Gyro Ball again. Lucario lands a hit into the face Pokémon and has been taken down. Noctis calls back his fallen Glalie.
"Get some rest. You earned it," Noctis said. He puts his Pokéball away and took out a Dusk Ball. "Go! Aegislash!" He threw it and Aegislash has entered the battlefield in its Shield Forme. Sora calls back Lucario and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go right in, Electrode!" Sora called out. Electrode has entered the battlefield. "Electrode! Use Charge Beam!" Electrode fires Charge Beam right at the royal sword Pokémon.
"Protect!" Noctis ordered. Aegislash forms a protective barrier and bounces right off. "Now, use Sacred Sword!" Aegislash gets into its Blade Forme and glows light blue and grows bigger. Aegislash then comes down to slice Eletrode with it.
"Dodge and use Rollout!" Sora ordered. Electrode avoids Aegislash's Sacred Sword and rolls around and comes at Ageislash, landing a hit.
"Rollout is a Rock Type move, so it won't have much affect since it's a Steel Type," Terra pointed out.
"Right, but Rollout gets stronger from each hit," Aqua said.
Electrode lands a hit with Rollout, and each hit was stronger than the last.
"Aegislash! Protect!" Noctis ordered. Aegislash forms a protective barrier around itself and Rollout bounces off. "Now use Solar Blade!" Aegilash begins to build up sunlight to store in itself.
"Aegislash is preparing to use Solar Blade!" Kairi said.
"That'll do some bad damage once it's fully charged.
"Electrode! Use Spark!" Sora ordered. Eletrode comes at Aegislash with electricity emitting from Electrode's body. Aegislash lands a slash with Solar Blade, causing heavy damage to it, and earned a knockout. Sora and Noctis calls back their Pokémon and threw their next Pokéballs. It was Noivern and Empoleon.
"Noivern! Use Supersonic!" Noctis ordered.
"Dodge and use Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Empoleon came at Noivern lands a hit with Metal Claw. "That was great, Empoleon! Use Metal Claw again!"
"Noivern! Use Dragon Claw!" Noctis ordered.
Noivern and Empoleon clashed with Metal Claw and Dragon Claw. Both were taken aback as they glared at each other.
"Empoleon! Use Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered.
"Noivern! Use Brick Break!" Noctis ordered. Noivern comes at the emperor Pokémon with Brick Break.
"Block it with Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Empoleon uses Metal Claw to block Noivern's Brick Break. Both of Empoleon and Noivern held on with Brick Break and Metal Claw. "Use Flash Cannon!" Empoleon fires Flash Cannon right at Noivern.
"Hyper Beam!" Noctis ordered.
Empoleon and Noivern fires Hyper Beam and they both collided with one another. They both took a heavy hit from each other's attacks.
"You okay, Empoleon?" Sora asked.
"Poleon," Empoleon said.
"Noivern, hang in there," Noctis said.
"Empoleon! Drill Peck!" Sora ordered. Empoleon spins his whole body around and lands a hit onto Noivern and it results in a knockout. Noctis calls Noivern back and sends Aegislash back out, as Sora sticks with Empoleon.
"Sacred Sword!" Noctis ordered.
"Empoleon! Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Empoleon comes at Aegislash as the royal sword Pokémon came at the emperor Pokémon. Aegislash lands the first blow and has earned a knockout. Sora calls back Empoleon and took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Infernape!" Infernape came on out. "Use Flamethrower!" Infernape fires Flamethrower and lands a hit into the royal sword Pokémon. Noctis calls back Aegislash and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Greninja!" Noctis called out, letting Greninja out to battle. Sora called back Infernape. Sora knew Infernape was at a disadvantage, due to him being a Fire Type, but at the same time, had the advantage since being a Fighting Type. So, he took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Torterra!" Sora called out. Torterra came out to battle. "Use Energy Ball!" Torterra fires Energy Ball right at the Ninja frog Pokémon.
"Cut, and then, Aerial Ace!" Noctis ordered. Greninja cuts through Energy Ball and then darts right at Torterra, landing a hit. "Now, use Water Shuriken!" Greninja forms shurikens made of water and threw them at Torterra.
"Leaf Storm!" Sora ordered. Torterra unleashed Leaf Storm and the leaves heads right at Greninja.
"Dodge and use Ice Punch!" Noctis ordered. Greninja lands a punch onto Torterra. "Now use Cut!" Greninja lands a cut onto the continent Pokémon. "Ice Punch!"
"Leaf Storm!" Sora ordered. Torterra unleashed another Leaf Storm and lands on its back. "Earthquake!" Torterra slams on the ground and took a hit from the earth. "Energy Ball!" Torterra fires Energy Ball and lands a hit onto the ninja frog Pokémon. Greninja has been taken down. Noctis calls back Greninja and took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn, Pyroar!" Noctis called out. He unleashed a male Pyroar, letting out a mighty roar.
"Earthquake!" Sora ordered. Torterra slams on the ground and shakes the ground.
"Dodge and use Flamethrower!" Noctis ordered. Pyroar fires Flamethrower, landing a hit onto the continent Pokémon and earned a knockout. Sora took out Infernape's Pokéball and threw it.
"Infernape! Back to action!" Sora called out. Infernape came back out to battle.
"Pyroar! Fire Fang!" Noctis ordered. Pyroar comes at Infernape with his teeth emitting fire.
"Mach Punch!" Sora ordered. Infernape dashed right towards Pyroar and lands a punch onto Pyroar. "Now use Flame Wheel!" Infernape lets out a loud yell. Infernape's whole body becomes surrounded by red-orange fire and it shoots at the lion-like Pokémon like a missile, slamming into it with great force.Pyroar has taken a pretty bad hit, and Infernape has taken some recoil damage.
"That didn't look like Flame Wheel," Ventus said.
"That was Flare Blitz," Kairi said.
"What does Flare Blitz do?" Veemon asked.
"Flare Blitz is a powerful Fire Type move. It does real damage on the opponent, but suffers recoil damage as well," Terra said.
"That was Flare Blitz," Sora said. "Better not risk Flare Blitz because Infernape will suffer some more recoil damage. "Mach Punch!"
"Fire Fang!" Noctis ordered. Pyroar comes at Infernape to land a hit. Infernape lands the first hit and he deals heavy damage onto the royal Pokémon.
"Use Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Infernape fires Flamethrower right at Pyroar and lands a knockout. Noctis calls back Pyroar and took out his next Pokéball and held it.
"Not bad, Sora. I knew you are even better than I thought you were. Now, it's come down to this," Noctis said, preparing to throw his Pokéball. "I have been preparing for this for a long time. Now go! Charizard!" The Pokéball opens and lets out his Charizard enters the battle and awaits for his trainer's instructions. Charizard had a vest with a Mega Stone.
"I know Noctis has been saving Charizard for last. He planned to save Charizard for last against Sora for years. Does Noctis expect to win?" Luna questioned in her thoughts.
"Infernape! Mach Punch!" Sora ordered. Infernape dashed towards Charizard to land a punch.
"Charizard! Power-Up Punch!" Noctis ordered. Charizard heads towards Infernape and lands a punch onto Infernape. Charizard's attack has gone up. "Now, use Fire Pledge!" Charizard slams its hand on the ground, causing pillars of fire to rush towards Infsrnape. When the pillars reach him, they form a ring of pillars and then merge into one giant fire pillar, damaging the flame Pokémon. Infernape fell on his back, beaten. Sora calls Infernape back and took out Torterra's Pokéball and threw it.
"Torterra! Back to action!" Sora called out. Torterra pants from exhaustion. "Use Leaf Storm!" Torterra unleashed Leaf Storm.
"Use Power-Up Punch!" Noctis ordered. Charizard lands a punch onto Torterra and has earned a knockout. Sora calls back Torterra. He took out Lucario's Pokéball and threw it.
"Lucario! Back to action!" Sora called out. Lucario has re-entered the battle. "Aura Sphere!" Lucario hurls Aura Sphere at Charizard, landing a hit. "Force Palm!" Lucario comes at Charizard and used Force Palm on Charizard.
"Power-Up Punch!" Noctis ordered. Charizard lands a powerful punch onto Lucario and fell on his back. Lucario gets back up on his feet.
"Lucario! Use Aura Sphere again!" Sora ordered. Lucario forms Aura Sphere and hurls it right at Charizard and it lands another hit. "Now, use Force Palm!" Lucario comes at Charizard with another Force Palm.
"Use Breaking Swipe!" Noctis ordered. Charizard swings its tail at Lucario, landing a heavy blow. "Breaking Swipe again!"
"Double Team!" Sora ordered. Lucario uses Double Team and makes several copies of himself. "Aura Sphere!" Lucario unleashed Aura Sphere again and lands a hit onto Charizard along with the duplicates.
"Charizard! Fire Pledge!" Noctis ordered. Charizard slams its hand on the ground, causing pillars of fire to rush towards Lucario. When the pillars reach the reach Lucario, they form a ring of pillars and then merge into one giant fire pillar, damaging the aura Pokémon and earned a knockout. Sora calls back Lucario.
"Forgive me, master. I have failed," Lucario said, through the Pokéball with Aura.
"Don't worry about it too much, Lucario. You managed to hurt Charizard like I thought you would. Rest," Sora said through his aura. He took look at Pikachu. "Okay, Pikachu. You're going in."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said. He stepped in to battle Charizard.
"This is the battle Noctis wanted. Sora's Pikachu and Noctis's Charizard. Ever since Sora's name became well-known, he wanted this more than anything," Luna said.
"Now, this is time for this!" Noctis said, holding a Mega Stone. "Share my will and make it your strength! Mega Evolution!" Charizard has Mega Evolved into Mega Charizard X. The Digimon were awestruck by what they were witnessing.
"What is that?"! Agumon asked.
"It's Mega Evolution," Kairi said. The Digimon all looked at her.
"What's Mega Evolution?" Agumon asked.
"Mega Evolution is a phenomenon that occurs when both Pokémon and trainers shares a deep bond. Charizard is gotten even stronger than normally," Kairi said.
"Mega Charizard X! Power-Up Punch!" Noctis ordered. Mega Charizard X heads towards Pikachu with a punch.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Pikachu avoided Mega Charizard X's Power-Up Punch.
"Now that Charizard has Mega Evolved, that means it's now a Dragon Type, so Electric Type attacks won't do much damage," Aqua said.
"Noctis must have been planning this from the start," Terra said.
"Indeed. Noctis has been training hard for this battle," Salvia said.
"Fire Pledge!" Noctis ordered. slams its hand on the ground, causing pillars of blue fire to rush towards Pikachu.
"Dodge it! Hurry!" Sora called out. Pikachu tried to avoid Fire Pledge, but it lands a huge hit. Pikachu manages to barely to get back up.
"Now, use Breaking Swipe!" Noctis ordered. Mega Charizard X comes at Pikachu his tail ready to strike.
"Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodged Mega Charizard X's tail. "Now! Volt Tackle!" Pikachu ran towards Mega Charizard X with Volt Tackle and lands a hit onto the mega evolved flame Pokémon. Mega Charizard X had taken some heavy damage, but not severe enough, but he has become paralyzed from the hit.
"Yes! Mega Charizard X is paralyzed!" Ventus said.
"It's not over yet, Ven," Kairi said.
"This is even more intense than I thought. His Pikachu has paralyzed Mega Charizard X with Volt Tackle, but his Pikachu has taken some recoil damage as well. I have to end this now!" Noctis said in his thoughts. He spoke out loud, "Mega Charizard X! Fire Blast!" Mega Charizard X has fired a powerful Fire Blast, heading right towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Dawn, Meowth, and the Digimon all shouted.
Pikachu has unleashed Thunderbolt right at the Fire Blast and manages to push back Fire Blast. Thunderbolt came out even more powerful than before, so Pikachu pushes back Fire Blast and lands a hit onto Mega Charizard X, resulting in an explosion. Mega Charizard X has been defeated and reverts back to normal. Noctis calls back his Charizard and he smiled.
"This battle turned out even better way than I hoped. You battled hard, my friend," Noctis said. He walked up to Sora with a smile. "Thank you for this great battle, Sora. You raised your Pokémon well to defeat me."
"Thanks, Noctis. You did too," Sora said.
"I have to say, your father would be proud of the trainer you grew into. And the man you will become," Noctis said. Sora smiled again as he thinks about his dad.
With that settled, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all went to the Pokémon Center to heal up his team, but there was a matter that Dawn had to settle.
Over to Lucas, he had just arrived in town, and he waited for Dawn to come. The group enters the Pokémon Center and spotted him.
"Hey Lucas," Sora said.
"Hi Sora. Hi Dawn," Lucas greeted.
"Hi Lucas. Were you waiting long?" Dawn asked.
"I just got here," Lucas said. The group went off to the counter as Dawn and Lucas were talking. "Dawn."
"Lucas," Dawn said.
"Dawn, you there was something I wanted to tell you," Lucas said.
"What is it?" Dawn asked.
"You remember when we first met?" Lucas asked.
"Of course I do. It was back in kindergarten. When you stood up to those awful bullies," Dawn said.
"Well, I couldn't let them make you cry, so I sttod up to them. So, you and I became good friends," Lucas said.
"I'm glad, Lucas. I'm glad that you and I became friends. To be honest, you were the first real friend I had," Dawn said.
"Yeah. When I'm around you, it feels like I could be myself around you, just like Barry. But a whole lot more," Lucas said. Dawn blinked twice.
"What do you mean, Lucas?" Dawn asked curiously.
"There was something I have been wanting to tell you for the longest time. So, here it is and now," Lucas said. He took in a deep breath. "The truth is, I love you, Dawn." Dawn's lit up having to hear those words from her crush's mouth.
"Really? You love me?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah. The truth is, I had a crush on you ever since we were little kids. I wanted to tell you that since forever. And even if the world was nearly destroyed by Cyrus, I would be glad that the last thing I see is you," Lucas said. Dawn was moved.
"I feel the same way, Lucas. The truth is, I love you, too. I loved you ever since we were little," Dawn said. "Just what did you think of me?"
"I thought you were the cutest girl I have ever seen, and I knew how pretty you would grow. And you're even prettier than I would have thought," Lucas said. Dawn blushed as she smiled.
"I'm glad, Lucas," Dawn said, wrapping her arms around Lucas and moved her face towards his. She kissed him on the lips. Lucas was shocked to see Dawn kissing him. He shuts his eyes and kisses her back. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were watching the kiss and they all smiled.
"Way to go, Dawn," Kairi said in her thoughts.
"Good work, Lucas," Sora said in his thoughts.
They held their kiss, not caring who was watching. They parted lips and smiled.
"Would you like to go on a date with me sometime?" Lucas asked.
"I would love to," Dawn said. She hugged him tightly and he hugged her back.
Now that Lucas and Dawn are a couple, we can hope for the best from these two. And Sora has learned a little something about his father, and they helped out a member of a royal family. And on top of that, Sora had his battle with Prince Noctis and won, but what does Team Shadow have in store for them? And how will Kairi and Dawn do in the Grand Festival? Just you wait and see.
