Episode 409: Sora vs Ash Round 3
A couple of days had passed since the Arrowroot Contest. By then, Lucas and Dawn had departed from the group once again, so both of Lucas and Dawn had left for a date. Sora has exchanged Electrode for his Rapidash. Kairi has exchanged her entire team for Glaceon, Leafeon, Slowking, Flapple, and Appletun.
The couple were training hard for the upcoming tournaments coming up. The Digimon were happy to help them out anyway they could.
Elsewhere in Ash's world, he Brock along with their own version of Dawn were walking down a path. Ash was thinking about Sora, Kairi, and the rest ever since their interdimensional escapades. Ash wore a black vest with a white collar and yellow stripe, a white short-sleeved undershirt, blue cargo jeans, and black and red sneakers. He couldn't help but smile. Brock stopped and turned. Brock is now wore green collared shirt, an orange vest with brown trim, khaki pants with knee stitching, and blue high-top sneakers.
"Ash?" Brock asked. Dawn stopped as well.
"Why did you stop?" Dawn asked.
"Piplup," Piplup said.
"Just thinking," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"What about?" Dawn asked.
"Probably about him again," Brock said.
"About who?" Dawn asked.
"You remember that one kid we told you about?" Brock asked.
"You mean the one you met before once against the Shadow Empire and again when you went against the Brotherhood of Darkness?" Dawn asked.
"That's him. Ash has been thinking about him lately, and he wondered how he's been doing ever since we came back here," Brock said.
"I still find it hard to believe that you and Ash went through that whole experience," Dawn said.
"Well, we couldn't believe it either, but it was a thrill we couldn't forget," Brock said.
"I hope we can meet up with them. i would like to meet them one day," Dawn said.
"Lup," Piplup said.
"I can't help but wonder what they're up to," Brock said.
Back in Sora's world, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were wondering a field of flowers when they came across a skinny young girl with very pale skin, short black hair with a white bow in it and blue eyes. She wears a black and white gothic-style thigh-length dress with white-ended black sleeves that leave her hands, the upper part of her arms, and a little bit of skin just above her cleavage bare, along with black tights and black boots with white cuffs and gray soles. She looked right at the group.
"Hello," the greeted.
"Um, hi. We just happen to notice you here," Sora said.
"Is there any particular reason that you're just sitting there?" Meowth asked.
"No reason. I simply love nature," the girl said. "Unlike people, nature is kind and caring." The group saw there was no harm in that. "What are your names?"
"I'm Sora, and this is my girlfriend Kairi and my cousin Ventus, but we call him Ven," Sora introduced.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"It's nice to meet you," Kairi said. "This little Eevee is Angel."
"Eevee" Angel said.
"I'm Terra."
"I'm Aqua."
"Meowth."
"Agumon."
"Gabumon."
"Biyomon."
"Tentomon."
"Palmon."
"Gomamon."
"Patamon."
"Gatomon."
"Veemon."
"Wormmon."
"Hawkmon."
"Armadillomon."
"I'm Marley," the girl introduced. Marley looked right at Pikachu and Angel. "They look fast."
"Yeah, they're pretty fast," Ventus said. Marley took out a Pokéball.
"And so is this one," Marley said, opening her Pokéball and revealed her Arcanine.
"Wow, an Arcanine!" Ventus said, excitedly. Arcanine walked up to Ventus and sniffed him. The legendary Pokémon gave him an affectionate lick. Ventus laughed between licks. Marley seems to smile lightly, but her expression turned sour when a young man came walking up to her. With him is an amphibious Pokémon that resembles an upside-down squid. It has sinister-looking yellow eyes with light purple eyelids that have a squinted appearance. It has a magenta beak for a mouth. It has a fringe of bluish tentacles sprouting from its head, and an oblong deep purple body with yellow patches and spots that form a pattern on its belly. Two long arm-like tentacles sprout from its shoulders; they are magenta and pastel purple in color, with white fins at the tips. The Pokémon stands upright on two large white sharp-edged fins on either side of its lower body, which it uses as legs.
"You're Marley, aren't ya?" The young man asked.
"Yes, that's me," Marley said.
"Let's have a match, unless you're afraid to lose," the young man challenged. Marley stood up.
"You're going to be sorry," Marley said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the new Pokémon.
Malamar, the Overturning Pokémon
The evolved form of Inkay
Type: Dark/Psychic
It wields the most compelling hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, and it forces others to do whatever it wants. It lures its prey close with hypnotic motions, then wraps its tentacles around it before finishing it off with digestive fluids.
"At least it's not a Water Type," Sora said.
"Malamar! Start things up with Liquidation!" The young man ordered. Malamar swings its tentacles at the legendary Pokémon.
"But it can use a Water Type move," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Arcanine! Extreme Speed!" Marley oprdered. Arcanine dashed right at Malamar and lands a heavy hit. "Now, use Flamethrower!" Arcanine unleashes a powerful Flamethrower, engulfing the overturning Pokémon in flames. Arcanine stops spewing fire and Malamar puffs up some smoke. Malamar fell to the side, beaten.
"And Malamar didn't even land a single hit," Ventus said. The young man calls back his Malamar in a Dusk Ball and ran off crying.
"I won't forget this!" The young man cried, running off.
"Maybe he thought he could find an easy win," Aqua said. Marley looked at the group.
"I'm sorry you had to see this side of me," Marley apologized.
"Don't apologize. I figured that you were good. I didn't even need to battle you to see for myself," Sora said. Marley smiled.
"You are kind," Marley said.
With that said, the group took their leave as Marley went off to admire more of nature. As the group pressed on with some training, unaware of Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers being asleep in a nearby tree. Sora has let out his Rapidash to practice.
"Okay, Rapidash! Megahorn!" Sora ordered. The Shiny fire horse Pokémon charged right at the tree with his horn growing a little and giving off a lime green glow. Rapidash rams into the tree, shaking it. This woke up the three Digimon in the tree.
"What was that?" Vorvomon asked.
"That was great, Rapidash! Now use Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Rapidash charged right at the tree again, and shook even violently. Vorovomon and the Dracomon Brothers looked down and saw Sora below the tree.
"Oh no, it's him!" Vorvomon gasped.
"What's he doing here?" The first Dracomon asked.
"He must be here to finish us off," the second Dracomon said.
"One more time!" Sora said. Rapidash rammed into the tree one more time and the three Digimon fell right out of the tree. Sora winced when he saw them. "You three?!"
"Crap!" Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers exclaimed as the other Digimon saw them and tied them up and places collars on them.
"You're not going anywhere!" Agumon said.
"You placed anti-Digivolving collars on us?" Vorvomon questioned.
"Better safe than sorry," Veemon said.
"You guys are in a lot of trouble," Sora said.
A little while later, Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers were being tied to a tree and being watched by Meowth. Kairi has prepared a meal for all of them and it is a beef stew.
"This is great as always, Kairi," Wormmon said.
"Hey! Aren't you going to untie us and feed us?!" Vorvomon exclaimed.
"Yeah, we're hungry too!' The Dracomon added.
"That depends. Are you sorry for bullying us and joining Myotismon against us?" Veemon asked.
"We don't apologize!" Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers exclaimed.
"Then no food for you," Veemon teased, wolfing down his bowl.
"Stop making fun of us and untie us!" Vorvomon said.
"Bullying us is one thing, but joining Myotismon is a whole different story!" Biyomon said.
"Come on, this is no way to treat some old friends," Vorvomon said.
"You were never our friends!" The Digimon all said at once.
"Even we know they got us there," the first Dracomon said.
"Shut up!" Vorvomon said.
"Come on, stop that. You guys are just being mean to them," Kairi scolded the Digimon.
"They were mean to us," Gabumon argued.
"That's no excuse," Kairi said, untying Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers. "Besides, that would only make you the bullies for bullying them in return." She gave each of them a bowl. "Here you three go. Have some. You need to eat too."
"What's the catch?" Vorvomon asked.
"No catch. Just because the war's over doesn't mean we have to keep fighting," Kairi said.
"And don't forget that you three are considered to be war criminals in the Digital World," Aqua said.
"And she got us there," the second Dracomon said.
"Shut up!" Vorvomon said.
"It does look good," the first Dracomon said, taking a bite of the stew. He smiled as he's savoring it. "Hey, this is great! Guys, you should try this!" Vorvomon and the second Dracomon were skeptical, but they took a bite and they savored the stew.
"Hey, this is great," the second Dracomon said.
"It's fine," Vorvomon said.
"Enjoy it. It's for everyone to enjoy," Kairi said. The Dracomon Brothers were enjoying the meal, but the other Digimon weren't liking that they had to eat with them. Meowth saw this before, so he sat next to them.
"Give them time. They'll come around," Meowth said. Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers looked at him.
"I don't know. I don't they'll ever forgive us," the second Dracomon said.
"They will. I know because I was in the same boat as you guys," Meowth said.
"What do you mean?" The first Dracomon asked.
"I was once part of an evil organization myself. Team Rocket it was called. That was until I found out they sent us out on a mission that wasn't even real to begin with," Meowth explained.
"Not a real mission?" The first Dracomon asked.
"Yup. Our files were erased like we weren't even there and they said that we were dead. And we decided to get them back for it," Meowth said.
"If you were enemies, then why did you join up with those guys?" The first Dracomon asked.
"They thought it wouldn't be right if I was left all alone, so they let me come along with them. That was during the Hoenn region after Team Aqua and Team Magma broke up," Meowth said. "And then there was that matter us going through the multiverse, saving everything from Ganondorf and those other villains, but that was after the Hoenn Pokémon League and putting Team Rocket out of business once and for all."
"What's the p[oint to all this?" Vorvomon asked.
"The point is, you have a chance to turn over a new leaf. It wasn't easy to earn their trust, but I did, and I know you guys can. Trust me," Meowth said. Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers were letting it all sink in. A few hours later, everyone was fast asleep, but Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers were still wide-awake. They looked up in the night sky and they looked at the sleeping humans, Pokémon, and Digimon. They saw how Pikachu and Angel were snuggled together, same as Sora and Kairi.
"You something, I have been thinking," the first Dracomon said.
"What?" Vorvomon asked.
"Fill us in," the second Dracomon said.
"I was starting to think that cat Pokémon was right. Maybe we can turn over a leaf. I mean I feel bad about bullying Agumon and the others when we were little. And we joined up with Myotismon after everything else," the first Dracomon said.
"Come to think of it, I feel bad too. And to be honest, I don't think Myotismon was going to even consider us even once," the second Dracomon said. Vorvomon was stunned to hear it.
"You guys are joking right?" Vorvomon asked.
"No. I don't wanna be a bully anymore. I wanna change for the better," the first Dracomon said. "And let's face it, we would have ended up like the others even if we fought them."
"I don't wanna be a bully either, and I wanna change my way too," the second Dracomon said.
"Am I suddenly invisible? I'm not going to allow this!" Vorvomon said. "So, let's go!" Vorvomon saw the Drcomon fast asleep. "How did you fall asleep so fast?" He gave a big sigh and hung his head in defeat. "I might as well face it, I've been alone since day one, and this is no different." He fell right to sleep as well.
On the next morning, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon are joined by Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers as they continued on towards Lake Valor.
"So, any idea on why we're going to Lake Valor?" Vorvomon asked.
"That's where the Grand Festival is being held," Meowth said. "Kairi won the Grand Festival there and she's been training hard to compete in this one."
"Ooh, how fun," Vorvomon said sarcastically. "I wonder what other fun we'll have here."
Over in Ash's world, he and his friends were still heading for their Lake Valor when, Ash made his stop again. He thought of Sora again.
"I can't wait to see Sora again," Ash said.
"Maybe you can," a voice spoke. Ash, Brock, and Dawn looked around and saw nothing.
"Who said that?" Brock asked. He got his answer when Discord has appeared before them.
"That was me! How do!" Discord greeted.
"Who are you?" Dawn asked.
"And what are you?" Ash asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Discord, the Lord of Chaos and Disharmony! And I am known as a Draconequus," Discord said.
"So, that's what you are," Brock said.
"What's a Draconequus? Is that a Pokémon?" Ash asked.
"No. A Draaconequus is a creature of chaos. It is said that they have the power to bend reality and make anything happen, and I do mean anything," Brock said.
"And allow me to demonstrate," Discord said, snapping his talons. Ash is then dressed as Aladdin, Dawn as Jasmine, and Brock as Genie, having his skin blue and everyhting. Pikachu is wearing Abu's fez and vest. He snaps his fingers again, having Ash they're back in their normal clothing. "Now, what else can I do?"
"That won't be necesarry!" Brock said.
"Just what di you mean you can make what happen?" Dawn asked.
"Well, if you must know, I simply heard Ash say that he can't wait to see Sora again, and then Idea!" Discord said in a singing tone and his head turning into a light bulb. The bulb turns bright and turns it off. Discord appeared to Ash,wrapping himself around him. "I simply send you to Sora directly."
"You know Sora?" Brock asked.
"Well, of course I know him. I am his biggest fan!" Discord said, summoning a banner of Sora's face. "And what a wonderful idea that you and he would have a third battle!"
"Really?! You can do that?!" Ash exclaimed happily.
"Just how do you know his name?" Dawn asked.
"Well, if you know, Dawn, I happen to read his mind like an open book," Discord said, taking out a book that reads "Ash's Life" in huge letters. "And it is funny to see those twos stories almost simliar." He laughed. "Now, you looking forward to this?"
"You bet I am!" Ash said.
"Well, hold on to your hats! Because I can take you there in a snap!" Discord said, snapping his talons making Ash, Brock, Dawn, and Pikachu vanish. "There! Job well-done."
In Sora's world, Ash, Brock, Dawn, and his Pikachu suddenly appeared before them. Sora and Kairi were delighted to see them again after so long.
"I don't believe it! Ash!" Sora said happily. Ash looked right at Sora and he laughed.
"Sora, Kairi!" Ash said. "Long time no see!" He noticed Ventus, Terra and Aqua with them. "Ven, Aqua, Terra!"
"Hi Ash!" Ventus said. The Digimon were dumbfounded. Sora noticed Brock and Dawn with them.
"Hey Brock! And hey Dawn," Sora greeted.
"Hey Sora," Brock said, leaving Dawn confused.
"You know my name?" Dawn asked confused. Brock sees Aqua and dashed right over to her.
"Aqua! Fate has been kind to us since we are meeting again. I cannot count the minutes nor the months that we've been apart!" Brock flirted, feeling Croagunk jabbing him in his rear. "And I can't count the times Croagunk has done that." Croagunk drags him away and chuckles.
"Some things never change," Sora said in his thoughts.
"So, are these the Sora and Kairi you and Brock were telling me about?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah. And those three are Terra, Aqua, and Sora's cousin Ventus, but we all call him Ven," Ash introduced. Dawn blinked twice.
"Cousin? For a sec there, I thought you were brothers!" Dawn said.
"You are the first to say that," Terra said.
"And you won't be the last," Aqua added.
"So, what brings you here again? Haven't seen you since taking down the Brotherhood of Darkness," Sora said.
"After we said goodbye again, I went back to the Battle Frontier and May went on with her Contests. I turned down the offer to be a Frontier Brain, so May and Max went back home and I decided to try my luck in the Sinnoh League," Ash explained. He looked at the Digimon. "Hey, who are those Pokémon?"
"We're not Pokémon. We're Digimon," Agumon said.
"That one just talked!" Dawn exclaimed.
"Piplup!" Piplup added.
"They can all talk," Kairi said.
"Like he said, we're all Digimon. My name's Agumon," Agumon started.
"I'm Gabumon."
"My name's Biyomon."
"I'm Tentomon."
"I'm Palmon."
"I'm Gomamon."
"My name's Patamon."
"I'm Gatomon."
"I'm Veemon."
"I am Hawkmon."
"I'm Armadillomon."
"And I'm Wormmon."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Ash and this is my partner, Pikachu," Ash introduced.
"Pikachu," Ash's Pikachu said.
"I'm Dawn and this is Piplup," Dawn introduced.
"We already know who you are," Veemon said.
"And I'm Brock. I'm studying on becoming a Pokémon Breeder," Brock said. He looked at the other two Digimon. "And these are-?"
"Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers," Sora said.
"And we're not as nice as you may think we are," Vorvomon said.
"These three are our prisoners," Gatomon said.
"How did you meet them?" Ash asked.
"It's a long story," Sora said. Sora explained to the otherworldly trainers about the war in the Digital World when Myotismon planned on ruling over it. The same could be said when Sora mentioned AxeKnightmon to him. But the war was now over and Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers are now fugitives and war criminals. "And that's pretty much it."
"And I thought the Brotherhood of Darkness were bad news," Brock said.
"We were on our way to Lake Valor when we bumped into you three," Sora said.
"So are we. How many Gym Badges did you win since you started your travels in Sinnoh?" Ash asked.
"I got all eight. How about you?" Sora asked.
"I still have seven," Ash said.
"Then you're almost there," Sora said.
"I think I might be beating around the bush, but how did you get here? There haven't been any dimensional rifts opening in a while," Terra said.
"We were brought here by someone who said he knew you. He said he's a huge fan of yours," Brock said.
"An inter dimneional fan?' Sora asked.
"Yeah, he said his name was Discord," Dawn explained.
"Discord? How did he-" Sora pasued when he realized Discord's abilities, "Duh, Lord of Choas."
"The thing is, Ash has been wondering how you've been doing for a while and then Discord brought us here," Brock said.
"That pretty much sums it up," Meowth said.
"So, I thought maybe you and I could have a battle. Let's make it a six-on-six battle," Ash said. Sora smiled.
"You're on, Ash. I could use the excercise for the Sinnoh Pokémon League," Sora said. Both trainers got set for their full battle. Brock wanted to be the referee for the battle, but Terra thought it wasn't necessary.Both Sora and Ash each took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Rapidash!" Sora called out.
"I choose you, Buizel!" Ash called out. Rapidash came out and stars swirls around him upon entry. "Buizel! Water Pulse!" Buizel forms a ball of water and hurls it right at the Shiny fire horse Pokémon.
"Rapdiash! Dodge and use Megahorn!" Sora ordered. Rapidash avoided Buizel's Water Pulse and charged right at the sea weasle Pokémon.
"Aqua Jet!" Ash ordered. Buizel launched itself at Rapidash with Aqua Jet and they collided with each other. "Now, use Sonic Boom!" Buizel jumps and unleashed Sonic Boom at Rapidash.
"Dodge and use Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Rapidash dodges and charges right at Buizel.
"Dodge with Aqua Jet!" Ash ordered. Buizel dodges Rapidash's Flame Charge. "Now use Water Gun!" Buizel fires Water Gun and it struck Rapidash.
"A super-effective hit!" Dawn said.
"It sure was, but that Rapidash is still standing," Brock said.
"Rapidash! Use Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Rapidash charges towards Buizel again.
"Buizel! Aqua Jet!" Ash ordered. Buizel charges towards Rapidash with Aqua Jet. Both has collided and Rapidash has been taken down. Sora calls back Rapidash as Ash calls back Buizel. He looked right at Pikachu. "Your turn, Pikachu!"
"Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu said. Sora looked at his Pikachu.
"You're up," Sora siad.
Both Pikachu stood in front of each other.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora and Ash ordered. Pikachu launched their attacks at each other and resulted in an explosion. "Quick Attack!" Both Pikachu clashed at each other with Quick Attack and they both landed a hit. "Volt Tackle!" Both Pikachu charged at each other and they collided to each other with Volt Tackle. Both Pikachu pants, having to land a hit onto one another. Both Pikachu fell to the ground out of exhaustion.
"Wow, both Pikachu down for the count," Dawn said.
"Ash must have improved since the last time," Terra said.
Both Pikachu were resting as Dawn and Kairi were holding them. Sora and Ash waited for the other to move.
"Go! Lucario!" Sora called out. Lucario has entered the battle.
"A Lucario. Then, I'm going to use this! Infernape! I choose you!" Ash called out. Infernape has entered the battle.
"Hey Ash! You remember that egg I had? Lucario hatched from that exact same egg," Sora said. Ash looked right at Lucario and he smiled.
"It looks like you've been taking good care of the egg, Sora. Infernape! Mach Punch!" Ash ordered. Infernape comes at Lucario with Mach Punch.
"Double Team!" Sora ordered. Lucario makes several images of himself and Infernape has punched a doouble, making it disappear. "Now use Bone Rush!" Lucario comes at Infernape with Bone Rush.
"Dodge and use Flamethrower until you find the real one!" Ash ordered. Infernape avoids Bone Rush and fires Flamethrower all around and it hits all the copies, until the real one was found. "Mach Punch!"
"Lucario! Dodge and use Aura Sphere!" Sora ordered. Lucario forms an Aura Sphere and fires it right at Infernape. It lands a heavy hit onto him. "Now, use Force Palm!" Lucario came at Infernape and lands a Force Palm onto Infernape, paralyzing it. "Force Palm again!" Lucario uses another Force Palm and it lands a hit. "Now, use Bone Rush!"
"Dodge it!" Ash called out.Infernappe attempts to dodge, but it's too paralyzed to move. Lucario lands a hit with Bone Rush, resulting in a knockout. Ash calls back INfernape and took out another Pokéball. "That was awesome, Sora. Now, try this! Torterra! I choose you!" Ash called out, throwing another Pokéball. His Torterra comes on out to battle. Sora calls back Lucario and took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Infernape!" Sora called out. Sora's Infernape has come right out to battle.
"Hey, you have an Infernape too! So cool!" Ash said.
"Thanks. Your Torterra looks strong," Sora complimented.
"Thanks. Torterra! Razor Leaf!" Ash ordered. Torterra unleashed Razor Leaf to land a hit onto the fire monkey Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Infernape avoids Torterra's Razr Leaf and fires Flamethrower right at Torterra. "Now use Mach Punch!" Infernape lands a Mach Punch onto Torterra.
"Torterra! Use Rock Climb!" Ash ordered. Torterra's claws glow white and then grow longer. It then gets onto its hind legs and slams its front ones into the ground. The ground separates and protrudes from the ground under Infernape. Torterra then runs up the side of the protruded ground to land a hit onto Infernape.
"Use Mach Punch!" Sora ordered. Infernape waited for Torterra to get closer and lands a hit onto it. The protruded ground sinks back down and Torterra is taken down. Ash calls back his Torterra as Sora calls back his Infernape. "That was real good, Ash! What else you got?" Ash smiled as he took out his next Pokéball.
"Try this! Staraptor! I choose you!" Ash called out. Staraptor comes out to fly. Sora took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Empoleon!" Sora called out. Empoleon comes on out to battle.
"Staraptor! Use Arrial Ace!" Ash ordered.
"Empoleon! Use Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Staraptor darts right at Empoloeon as Empoloen prepares Metal Claw. Empoleon comes at Starpator, but the predator Pokémon has landed a succesful hit onto the emperor Pokémon.
"Now, use Close Combat!" Ash ordered. Starptor gave Empoleon some beatings from Close Combat. Because Empoleon is a Steel Type Pokémon, he was taking some heavy blows.
"Empoleon! Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered. Empoleon prepares to fire Flash Cannon.
"Get out of there!" Ash called out. Staraptor flew as Empoleon unleashed Flash Cannon. Staraptor has managed to avoid Empoleon's Flash Cannon with incredible speed.
"You raised your Staraptor right, Ash," Sora said.
"Thanks. And you raised your Empoleon right too!" Ash said. "Starpator! Brave Bird!" Staraptor is surrounded by an orange aura comes right at the emperor Pokémon.
"Empoleon! Hydro Pump!" Sora ordered. Empoleon fires a powerful Hydro Pump and lands a hit onto the predator Pokémon, sending Staraptor in the sy. Staraptor lands on the ground beaten. Ash calls Staraptor back. And he took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"I choose you, Gible!" Ash called out. Gible comes out to battle. Sora took out his next Pokéball and tossed it.
"Go! Torterra!" Sora called out. Torterra comes out to battle against Gible.
"Gible! Use your Bite!" Ash ordered. Gible rushes over towards the continent Pokémon and bit on Torterra's leg. Torterra kicked Gible off.
"Use Leaf Storm!" Sora ordered. Gible was caught in the Leaf Storm and it takes Gible right in it. Gible manages to get back up.
"Use Draco Meteor!" Ash ordered. Gible opens its mouth and unleashed Draco Meteor and it doesn't come as powerful as he hoped and it heads back to Gible, landing a hit. Gible was taken down by its own attack. "Man, I lost again." He calls back his Gible and walked up to Sora as he calls back his Torterra. Ash smiled as he shook hands with Sora. "That was an awesome battle, Sora. I just wanna wish you luck in your Sinnoh Leage."
"Thanks Ash. And good luck in yours," Sora said. Dawn and Kairi were watching closely.
"That was an awesome battle. Sora is just as strong as he and Brock said," Dawn said.
"I'm sure Ash has gotten stronger since we loast saw him," Kairi said. Dawn looked right at Kairi.
"Say Kairi. I just wanna say that I'm going to wish you luc in your Grand Festival," Dawn said.
"Thanks. I wish you luck in yours," Kairi said.
"And I want to do the same for your Dawn. Ash told me that you won the Hoenn Grand Festival, so I hope you can give the other me everything you have," Dawn said.
"I know she will. The same can be said for all your rivals in your world," Kairi said.
With that said, Discord appeared before the group and he blurted an air horn.
"I knew you would pull I off, Sora! I never doubted you for a sec!" Discord said. The Digimon all looked right at the Draconequus.
"What is that thing?" Agumon asked.
"He's Discord. We met him when Sora and I were in Earthland," Kairi said. "He's the one who brought Ash and his friends here."
"Why?" Tentomon asked. Discord appeared before the buggy Digimon. "Oh, I'll fill you in. There is a deeper reason for bringing Ash here from his world and back here again. I thought to myself, I wonder how these two will fare if I brought them together again, and then when Ash mentioned it, I had this fun idea! I snapped them here and let them have themselves a battle, and they didn't disappoint." A flash came as the Digimon were all sitting on bleachers and face paint. "You got to admit, it was entertaining!"
"I'm glad you had fun and all, but don't you think you could send us back? Please?" Dawn asked. Discord stroked his goatee for a sec.
"Alright. Only because you said please,' Discord said.
"Good luck, Sora!" Ash said.
"You too, Ash!" Sora said.
The shook hands again as Discord napped his talons and Ash and his friends all vanished.
"THat is literally the oddest creature have ever seen," Vorvomon said.
"And I was thinking the same thing," Meowth said.
Ash got his wish in seeing Sora again and battled him. He didn't care that he lost to him again, but he had a great time. Now we continue on with the journey towards Lake Valor for the Sinnoh Grand Festival.
