Episode 415: Full Course Sinnoh Battle!
Sometime after Sora's battle with Marnie, Lucas was getting set for his battle against Conway.
Studying up on his opponent, he also studied up on Sora, looking over every Pokémon he has at his disposal. He adjusted his glasses.
"Hm. Lucas has the basic six, while Sora has many to use. Most of them are fully evolved, with an exception of his Rhydon and Pikachu. I'll work a strategy on Sora soon after I defeat Lucas," Conway said, chuckling to himself.
Not too far off, a young Zeraora, has arrived to Lily of the Valley Island. This Zeraora is in search of something, or rather someone. The Zeraora then makes its way to Trainer's Village and made its way to Sora's room.
Sora rejoins the group as Tidus and Yuffie were getting ready for their battle.
"Up next, we have our next battle! It's Tidus against the great ninja, Yuffie! These two has bested their previous opponents in this tournament so far, but now we are having a field change after the battle Sora and Marnie had, and it will be an Ice battlefield!" The announcer announced. Tidus and Yuffie both enter the battlefield. Yuna along with Rikku, and Paine are watching the battle as it was just getting started.
"This will be loads of fun," Tidus said.
"Give me everything you got, Tidus," Yuffie said.
"Choose your Pokémon and begin!" THe referee called out. Tidus and Yuffie both took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Shedinja!" Yuffie called out. Her Shedinja came on out to battle.
"Go! Krockorok!" Tidus called out. His Krockorok came on out to battle.
"Yuffie sends out Shedinja, as Tidus sends out Krockorok!" The announcer annoounced.
"Shedinja is a Bug Type, so it's got the advantage over Krockorok since it's a Dark Type," Gatomon said.
"Right, but because Krockorok is a Dark Type, Shedinja is going going if Krokorok knows a Dark Type move," Riku said.
"Shedinja! Use Solar Beam!" Yuffie ordered.
"Krocorok! Use Crunch!" Tidus ordered. Krokorok comes at Shedinja, while charging up for Solar Beam. Before Shedinja coould fire, Shedinja has taken a hit from Crunch, earning an instant knockout. The referee raises the red flag.
"Shedinja is unable to battle! Krockorok wins!" The referee announced.
"Shedinja never stood a chance against Krockorok! Yuffie will have to come up with a quick win!" The announcer announced. Yuffie calls back Shedinja and took out her next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Accelgor!" Yuffie called out. Accelgor came right out to battle. Tidus calls back Accelgor and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Unfezant!" Tidus called out. Unfezant came right out to battle against Accelgor.
"Tidus's second Pokémon is his Unfezant!" The announcer announced.
"Acelgor! Water Shuriken!" Yuffie ordered. Accelgor forms shurikens made of water and threw them.
"Dodge it, Unfezant! Use your Sky Attack!" Tidus ordered. Unfezant begins to glow brightly.
"Accelgor! Use Hyper Beam!" Yuffie ordered.Accelgor unleashed Hyper Beam and it heads right towards the proud Pokémon. Unfezant avoids Accelgor's Hyper Beam and lands a hit onto Accelgor,landing a hit.
"That was great, Unfezant! Now, use Air Slash!" Tidus ordered. Unfezant unleash Air Slash and sent it right at Accelgor.
"Doouble Team!" Yuffie ordered. Accelgor made several images of itself and avoids Air Slash.
"That was a close call for Accelgor! Unfezant misses its mark!" The announcer announced.
"Aerial Ace!" Tidus ordered. Unfezant darts right Acccelgor, finding the real one. Accelgor had been taken down with a strong hit. The referee raises the red flag.
"Accelgor is unable to battle! Unfezant wins!" The referee announced.
"Yuffie is now doen to one Pokémon left in reserves! Which one will it be?" The announcer asked. Yuffie took out her last Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Greninja!" Yuffie called out. Her Greninja came on out to battle against Unfezant.
"And Yuffie's last Pokémon is her Greninja! Greninja has served her well during the tournament, so we shall see how her Greninja will help her out!" The annoucner announced.
"Greninja! Use Water Shuriken!" Yuffie ordered. Greninja forms shurikens made of water and they head right towards Unfezant, landing a few hits. "Now, use Ice Punch!" Greninja jumped and landed an Ice Punch onto Unfezant. The proud Pokémon fell right to the ground. "Water Shuriken!" Greninja forms Water Shuriken again and threw them againa and again.
"Unfezant bombardes Greninja with Water Shuriken!" The announcer announced. Unfeazent had been beaten by the water attack, so the referee raises the green flag.
"Unfezant is unable to battle! Grenjinja wins!" The referee announced.
"Yuffie is starting to make a comeback! SHe is putting a huge dent into Tidus's chance for victory with Greninja!" The announcer announced. Tidus grinned as he took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Samurott!" Tidus called out. Samurott came on out to battle.
"And now, we're seeing Samurott! Both these Water Types will bring us quite a show in this battle!" The annoucner announced.
"Greninja! Use Night Slash!" Yuffie ordered. Greninja comes at Samurott with Night Slash.
"Samurott! Use Sacred Sword!" Tidus ordered. Samuraott draws a seamitar from a sheath on one of its arms. The sword glows light blue and grows bigger. Samurott slices Greninja with it, causing heavy damage.
"Samurott lands a super-effective hit with its Sacred Sword!" The announcer announced.
"Now, use Razor Shell!" Tidus ordered. Samurott uses its seamitar and forms blue blades, made of water. Samurott comes at Greninja to land a hit.
"Greninja! Use Night Slash!" Yuffie orderd. Greninja comes at Samurott with NIght Slash, and both has clashed. Both did a stance for a moment. Everyone was anxiously waiting to see who was still standing. Greninja fell to the ground, beaten. The referee raises the red flag.
"Greninja is unable to battle! Samurott wins! The winner of the battle is Tidus!" The referee announced.
"Seven out of eight top trainers has been decided, and it is Tidus! Only one more match will be detemined on the quarter finals!" The announcer announced.
"Wow, Tidus is better than I remember. I know I'm going to have such a hard time against this guy," Sora said in his thoughts.
A little while after the battle, Sora was sitting on the bench and doing some thinking. He noticed two statues. One being of Arcues, and the other being a small, rabbit-like Pokémon with large, pointed ears which form the letter V. It has large, blue eyes and a round, cream-colored head, which is comparatively large compared to its small, cream body, while the tops of its ears, crest, and extremities are all orange. Its bulbous arms and legs are rounded to make a sort of "cuff" before ending with small, three-fingered hands and two-toed feet. It has two pointed teeth that can be seen on its upper jaw. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the statues.
Arcues, the Alpha Pokémon

A legend has surround around this Pokémon that suggested that it created the universe. Legends says that the birth of the universe has resulted from Arcues hatching out from an egg.
Victini, the Victory Pokémon
Type: Psychic/Fire
When it shares the infinite energy it creates, that being's entire body will be overflowing with power. This Pokémon brings victory. It is said that trainers with Victini always win, regardless of the type of encounter.
Is that something?" Sora asked.
"Sora?" Kairi asked. He turned to se his girlfriend. "Is something wrong?"
"No, just thinking. About stuff. Anyway, I think we should talk my next battle plan later," Sora said.
"Okay. I just wanted to let you know that the next one is getting started, so let's go," Kairi said.
"Sure," Sora said. The couple returns to the stadium, just in time to witness the battle between Lucas and Conway.
"Ladies and gentlemen, our final battle before the quarter finals is about to begin! In the red corner we have Conway against Lucas!" The announcer announced.
"I am looking forward to this. I am hoping that I get to battle Sora, and make my plan," Conway said, chuckling.
"I know you're cooking up something, Conway. After watching Sora, I know I can overcome you," Lucas said in his thoughts.
"And now, we will have a random change, and both trainers will be battling on a Grass battlefield!" The announcer announced.
"Choose and begin!" The referee announced.
"Shuckle! Here we go!" Conway called out. Shuckle emerged from its Pokéball.
"Conway's starting with Shuckle," Dawn said.
"Now, it's Lucas's turn," Kairi said.
"Go! Luxray!" Lucas called out. Luxray came on out to battle against Shuckle.
"Conway starts things off with his Shuckle, and Lucas begins with Luxray! This should be an interesting matchup!" The announcer announced.
"Conway gets the first move!" The referee announced.
"Shuckle! Use Withdraw!" Conway ordered. Shuckle withdrew into its shell and builds up its defenses.
"Luxray! Begin with Charge Beam! Build it up!" Lucas ordered. Luxray begins to build up Charge Beam.
"Use Withdraw again!" Conway ordered. Shuckle continues to build up its defenses.
"Shuckle uses Withdraw to withstand Luxray's attack!" The announcer announced.
"Fire now!" Lucas called out. Luxray unleashed Charge Beam.
"Withdraw again!" Conway ordered. Shuckle builds up its defenses again and Charge Beam sruck. Luxray stops firing and Lucas was shocked to see Shuckle was still standing.
"What?!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Lucas!" Dawn gasped.
"Come on, Lucas, what did you expect from Shuckle's great defense?" Conway asked. "Now, use Power Trick!" Shuckle's body glows multicolored. Shuckle grinned.
"What was that move?" Veemon asked.
"That was Power Trick," Riku said.
"What's Power Trick?" Armadillomon asked.
"Power Trick's a move that can switch the user's attack and defense stats. And because Shuckle's defense was higher than Shuckle's attack, this will mean big trouble for Lucas," Riku said.
"Conway wants to end this in one fell swoop," Lobomon said.
"Luxray! Use Thunderbolt!" Lucas ordered. Luxray unleashed Thunderbolt right atShuckle.
"Gyro Ball, let's go!" Conway ordered. Shuckle spins around and cuts through Luxray's Thunderbolt.
"Shuckle cuts through Luxray's Thunderbolt and lands a blistering attack fro the use of Power Trick!" The announcer announced. Lucas calls back Luxray and brings out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Staraptor!" Lucas called out. Staraptor came on out to battle.
"Lucas's second Pokémon is his Staraptor!" The announcer announced.
"Staraptor! Aerial Ace!" Lucas ordered.
"Aerial Ace cannot be dodged, but it can be stopped. Shuckle! Use Sludge Bomb!" Conway ordered. Shuckle unleashed Sludge Bomb. Staraptor avoids Sludge Bomb, much to Conway's frustration. "What? Okay, use Gyro Ball!" Shuckle uses Gyro Ball and they clashed into one another. Staraptor was overpowered. Lucas calls back his Staraptor and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Floatzel!" Lucas called out. Floatzel came on out to battle.
"Lucas switches from Staraptor to Floatzel!" The announcer announced.
"Floatzel! Use Hydro Pump!" Lucas ordered. Floatzel unleashed a powerful Hydro Pump.
"Taking advantage of Shuckle's weakness to water, Floatzel unleashed Hydro Pump!" The announcer announced. Shuckle was struck hard by Hydro Pump and earned a knockout. The referee raises the green flag.
"Shuckle is unable to battle! Floatzel wins!" The referee announced.
"Conway loses his very first Pokémon with his third Pokémon! How will Conway respond?" The announcer questioned.
"Impressive. That Floatzel has impressive power," Conway said, taking out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Lickilicky! Let's go!" Conway called out. Lickilicky came opn out to battle.
"Conway's second Pokémon is his Lickilikci!" The announcer announced.
"Floatzel! Use Razor Wind!" Lucas ordered. Floatzel unleashed Razor Wind right at Lickilicky.
"Okay, Lickilicky, dodge and use Thunderbolt!" Conway ordered. Lickilicky unleashed Thunderbolt to strike Floatzel. Floatzel felt heavy damage.
"Conway takes advantage of Type weaknesses as well!" The announcer announced. Lucas calls back Floatzel and took out Luxray's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Luxray!" Lucas called out as Luxray reentered the battlefield.
"Lucas resends Luxray out to battle!" The announcer announced.
"Lickilicky! Use Power Whip!" Conway ordered. Lickilicki sends its togue right at Luxray to land a hit.
"Luxray! Dodge and use Charge Beam!" Conway ordered. Luxray unleashed Charge Beam and it lands a hit onto Lickilicky, causing it to go flying. Lickilicky lands on the ground, beaten. The referee raises the green flag.
"Lickilicky is unable to battle! Luxray wins!" The referee announced.
"Lucas has once again taken down Conway's Pokémon without losing a single one!" The announcer announced.
"Impressive. Luxray, Floatzel, and Staraptor all have incredible speeds. You have played right into my hands, Lucas," Conway said, adjusted his glasses. He took out his third Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Dusknoir!" His Dusknoir came right out to battle.
"So his third Pokémon is a Dusknoir. He must have been saving that for last," Riku said.
"What do you mean?" Ventus asked.
"Conway must have been planning this battle before it started," Riku said. Lucas calls Luxray back and took out Staraptor's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Staraptor!" Lucas called out. Staraptor came back out to battle. "Use your Wing Attack!" Staraptor comes right at Dusknoir with his wings, sticking out.
"Use Trick Room!" Conway ordered. Dusknoir's eye glows red and a large light blue rectangle with light blue transparent walls and ceiling appear around the battlefield. Then, the light blue glow fades, and the walls and ceiling becomes invisible. Staraptor was flying slower than normal as Dusknoir avoids it.
"What they?!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Dusknoir has used Trick Room! Now, the slow-moving Disknoir will be moving faster than normal!" The announcer announced.
"Dusknoir! Use Thunder Punch!" Conway ordered. Dusknoir unleashed Thunder Punch and lands a hit onto Staraptor, earning a knockout. The referee raises the red flag.
"Staraptor is unable to battle! Dusknoir wins!" The referee announced.
"Thanks to the effects of Trick Room, Dusknoir has overcome Staraptor!" The announcer announced. Lucas calls back Straptor and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Floatzel!" Lucas called out. Floatzel came back out to battle.
"Don't forget, Lucas; Trick Room is still in play," Conway said.
"Floatzel! Use Aqua Jet!" Lucas ordered.
"Dusknoir! Dodge it!" Conway called out. Floatzel launched himself towards Dusknoir, but the gripper Pokémon successfully avoids Floatzel's Aqua Jet. "Now, Thunder Punch!" Dusknoir lands a hit with THunder Punch. Lucas was about to call Floatzel back when Conway adjusted his glasses. "Use Mean Look!" Dusknoir uses Mean Look and Lucas's attempt to call back Floatzel.
"Lucas tries to call back Floatzel, but Conway has different plans when it comes to Mean Look!" The announcer announced.
"With Mean Look in effect, Lucas won't be able to switch Pokémon!" Ventus said.
"No need to worry, Lucas will win it," Dawn said.
"Shadow Punch!" Conway ordered. Dusknoir unleashed shadowy fists and lands the finishing blow onto the sea weasel Pokémon. The referee raises the red flag.
"Floatzel is unable to battle! Dusknoir wins!" The referee announced.
"Both trainers are down to one Pokémon remaing! Only one of them is going to move on to the quarter finals!" The annoucner announced. Lucas took out Luxray's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Luxray!" Lucas called out. Luxray came back out to battle against Dusknoir. "Luxray! Thunder Fang!" Luxray came right towards Dusknoir.
"Dodge!" Conway ordered. Dusknoir avoids Luxray's Thunder Fang.
"Dusknoir avoids Luxray's Thunder Fang!" The announcer announced.
"Shadow Punch!" Conway ordered. lands a hit with Shadow Punch. "Very good! Shadow Punch again!" Dusknoir moves in to delievera Shadow Punch onto Luxray.
"Thunder Fang!" Lucas ordered. Luxray lands a Thunder Fang onto Dusknoir, paralyzing it.
"No! Dusknoir's paralyzed!" Conway exclaimed in shock.
"Now, use Thunderbolt!" Lucas ordered. Luxray gives Dusknoir a huge Thunderbolt shock, and it was enough to bring Dusknoir down. The referee raises the green flag.
"Dusknoir is unable to battle! Luxray wins! The winner is Lucas!" The referee announced.
"And that's that! Lucas has defeated and has been chosen as the eighth and final trainer to make it to the top eight! We will have a few moments until we have the results in to decide to who will be facing off against who in the quarter finals!" The annoucner announced.
"Way to go, Lucas!" Dawn cheered. Conway calls back his Dusknoir and he smiled.
"I may not have defeated Lucas, but I think I should stick around for a little while longer. Sora's next battles should provide some excellent data," Conway said.
A few moments came and the results had finally come in.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the factor has finally been decided! Here we have our top eight trainers in the quarter finals! And bow we shall shuffle our results and see!" The announcer announced. Sora, Lucas, Barry, Tidus, Paul, and the others were shuffled and it was decided. Sora and Tidus were pinned up as Lucas was battling Paul. Barry was having his battle against another trainer. Sora and Tidus were having theirs before Paul and Lucas. "And here they all are! These battles will take place first thing tomorrow! Be sure to be here if you don't want to miss the excitement!"
It was the moment of truth. Sora and Tidus were having their battle first and the battle between Lucas and Paul was going on third, while Barry's battle was second. When everyone left the stadium, Tidus approached Sora.
"Hey, Sora," Tidus said. They turn to see him. "Just wanted to say I wanna wish you luck tomorrow."
"Thanks. You too," Sora and Tidus shook hands.
"Just think of my of settling the score for the last time," Tidus said. Sora laughed a bit as both trainers had left. As soon as they got to their place, they saw a man standing at the door with a package. The man turned to Sora.
"Excuse me, are you Sora from Pallet Town?" The man asked.
"Yes, I'm Sora," Sora said.
"I was asked to deliever this to you," the man said. The package has a note on the top. Sora takes the package.
"Thanks," Sora said.
"Not a problem," the man said, taking his leave. "Have a nice day."
"Who's it from?" Ventus asked. Sora opened the note.
"It's from Edgar," Sora said.
"We haven't seen him since that one time," Aqua said.
"What does he have to say?" Kairi asked. Sora opened the envelope and read the contents on the paper.
Sora read, "Sora, I have done some research on all of your Pokémon and I thought the contents in this package would be of some assistance to you. These particular items for a specific Pokémon. So, I wish you luck in the tournament. Edgar." Sora opens the box and he sees the package is full of Mega Stones for a specific Pokémon. He saw some more and it regarded Kairi. "PS, there are also some for Kairi. You can use them if you want to." The couple took the Mega Stones. Sora and Kairi took theirs and a band. The couple each used their Pokémon Boxes and gave the Mega Stones to each one of them.
Sora made up his mind on who to use. He decided to go with Sceptile, Glalie, Alakazam, Rillaboom, and Electivire. The Zeraora from before came out of its hiding place and approached Sora.
"What is that?" Agumon asked.
"It's a Zeraora," Sora said. "And a young one by the looks of it."
"You think it's a baby?" Ventus asked.
"Seems like it," Terra said. Zeraora went up to Sora and took him by the hand and smiled. Sora smiled back.
"You wanted to meet me, right?" Sora asked. Zeraora nodded. "You wanna be my Pokémon?" Zeraora nodded again. He took out a Pokéball, making Zeraora flow inside. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Zeraora with him. He chose to send Zeraora to Professor Oak's lab.
It was now time for the battle between Sora and Tidus. Sora looked over to Pikachu and both trainer and Pokémon both nodded to each other.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"How right you are, buddy. Let's get out there and do what we do best," Sora said.
"Pi," Pikachu said.
Both Sora and Pikachu both entered the battlefield, ready to give it what they got.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the first battle of the quarter finals is about to begin! As we get started, each trainer will be using all six Pokémon each! Susbsitutions are permitted anytime, and the battle is over when all six of either trainer's Pokémon are unable to continue battling! In the red corner, we have Tidus, and in the Green Corner we have Sora!" The announcer announced.
"Choose your Pokémon and begin!" THe referee announced. Sora and Tidus each took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Palpitoad!" Tidus called out. Palpitoad came right out to battle. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Rillaboom!" Sora called out. Rillaboom came right out with his drum set.
"Sora sends out a Rillaboom as Tidus's first call is Palpitoad! Rillaboom is the obvious choice against Palpitoad!" The annoucner announced.
"Tidus has the first move!" The referee declared.
"Palpitoad! Use Hyper Voice!" Tidus ordered. Palpitoad unleashes a powerful soundwave from its mouth.
"Palpitoad starts off with a powerful Hyper Voice!" The announcer announced.
"Rillaboom! Use Drum Beaating!" Sora ordered. Rillaboom bangs on his drums as roots emerged from the ground. The roots struck the vibration Pokémon
"Rillaboom's Drum Beating gave Palpitoad such a smacking!" The announcer announced.
"Palpitoad! Use Sludge Wave!" Tidus ordered. Palpitoad unleashed a wave of sludge right at Rillaboom and struck the ape-like Pokémon. "Now, use Mud Bomb!" Palpitoad unleashed Mud Bomb right at Rillaboom.
"Dodge and use Drain Punch!" Sora ordered. Rillaboom lands a punch and saps Palpitoad's energy. Palpitoad fell on its back, only to get back up.
"Rillaboom recovers from Palpitoad's attacks, but it looks like Palpitoad is still standing on its feet!" The announcer announced.
"Palpitoad! Sludge Bomb again!" Tidus ordered.
"Rillaboom! Use Drum Beating!" Sora ordered. Rillaboom bangs on his drums again and the roots struck the toad-like Pokémon. "Now use Energy Ball!" Rillaboom forms a ball of enrgy and sends it right at Palpitoad. When it made contact, Palpitoad goes flying and fell on its face, beaten. The referee raises the green flag.
"Palpitoad is unable to battle! Rillaboom wins!" The referee announced.
"Sora takes the lead! Which one will Tidus choose next?" The announcer asked. Tidus calls back Palpitoad and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Heatmor!" Tidus called out. Heatmor came on out to battle against Rillaboom.
"Tidus's second Pokémon is his Heatmor! Tidus has made the smart decision in sending Heatmor out to battle Sora's Rillaboom!" The announcer announced. Sora calls back RIllaboom. "Sora is making a switch!" Sora took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Electivire!" Sora called out. Electivire came out with a swirl of stars.
"Now Sora is sending out an Electivire! And it's a Shiny Electivire!" The announcer announced.
"Heatmor! use Fire Punch!" Tidus ordered. Heatmor came at Electivire with Fire Punch.
"Electivire! Use Thunder Punch!" Sora ordered. Electivire lands a Thunder Punch onto Heatmor as he lands a Fire Punch onto Electivire.
"Heatmor and Electivire both lands a heavy hit with the Punches Fire and Thunder! This is a real clash of power!" The announcer announced.
"Man, that Electivire looks very strong. Doesn't mean it'll be a match for my Heatmor! Okay, Heatmor! Use Fire Lash!" Tidus ordered. Heatmor unleashed Fire Lash and used it to whip Electivire.
"Heatmor is giving Electivire such a good whipping!" The announcer announced.
"Electivire! Use Charge Beam!" Sora ordered. Electivire unleashed Charge Beam and it struck Heatmor hard. "That was great! Now, use Seismic Toss!" Electivire grabs Heatmor and jumps into the air and swings his body before throwing the anteater Pokémon right towards the ground. Heatmor struggles to stand back up on his feet.
"Heatmor has taken a lot of damage from that Seismic Toss!" The announcer announced.
"Heatmor! Flamethrower!" Tidus ordered. Heatmor unleashed Flamethrower right at Electivire.
"Use Thunder!" Sora ordered. Electivire unleashed Thunder and it cuts through Heatmor's Thunder and lands a hit, and became paralyzed from the attack.
"Now Heatmor's paralyzed!" The announcer announced.
"Seismic Toss!" Sora ordered. Electivire grabs Heatmor and gave the anteater Pokémon a toss to the ground again. Heatmor has been taken down. The referee raises the green flag.
"Heatmor is unable to battle! Electivire wins!" The referee announced.
"Now Tidus i down to four more Pokémon! Looks like Sora is staying in the lead in this battle!" The annuncer announced. Tidus calls back Heatmor and took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Not if I have anything to say about it! Krokorok! Go!" Tidus called out. Krockorok came on out to battle against Electivire.
"Now, it's Krokorok's turn against Electivire! Electivire's Ground Type moves won't have any effect on this Krokorok!" The announcer announced. Sora calls back Electivire and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Glalie!" Sora called out. Glalie came on out to battle the desert croc Pokémon.
"Sora switches Electivire with Glalie! Will Tidus's choice be his downfall?" The announcer asked.
"Krockorok! Use Rock Slide!" Tidus ordered. Krokorok unleashed Rock Slide right at the face Pokémon.
"Dodge and and use Frost Breath!" Sora ordered. Glalie blew a cold breath right at Krockorok. Krokorok gets struck, resulting in heavy damage.
"Glalie has dealt lots of damage with its Frost Breath! Not only a critical hit, but also super-effective!" The announcer announced.
"Sora isn't going to get the better of me! Krocorok! Rock Slide again!" Tidus ordered.
"Dodge and use Ice Beam!" Sora ordered. Glalie avoids Rock Slide and lands a heavy hit with Ice Beam, knocking out Krocorok. The referee raises the green flag.
"Krocorok is unable to battle! Glalie wins!" The referee announced.
"And that makes three Tidus has lost! with half of Tidus's team eliminated, he is in a real corner!" The announcer announced. Tidus took a Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Samurott!" Tidus called out. Samurott came right out to battle against Sora's team.
"Glalie! Use Frost Breath!" Sora ordered. Glalie unleashed Frost Breath right at the samurai otter Pokémon.
"Samurott! Use Sacred Sword!" Tidus ordered. Tidus avoided Glalie's Frost Breath and lands a hit with Sacred Sword, dealing some heavy damage. Glalie has been taken down with just one hit. The referee raises the red flag.
"Glalie is unable to battle! Samurott wins!" The referee announced.
"Tidus has finally taken down one of Sora's Pokémon! Which one will put a dent into Tidus's comeback?" The announcer asked. Sora calls back Glalie.
"Get some rest, Glalie. You earned it," Sora said. He took out Electivire's Pokéball and threw it. "Electivire! Back to action!" Electivire came back out to battle.
"Electivire comes back out to battle against Samurott! Sora has the Type advantage against this formidable fighter!" The announcer announced.
"Electivire! Use Thunder!" Sora ordered. Electivire unleashed Thunder right at Samurott.
"Dodge and use Aqua Jet!" Tidus ordered. Electivire misses as Samurott dashed right at the thunderbolt Pokémon with heavy damage.
"Samurott is giving it to its opponent! Electivire is in real trouble now!" The announcer announced.
"Finish it off with Razor Shell!" Tidus ordered. Samuraott lands a heavy blow with Razor Shell, finishing off Electivire. The referee raises the red flag.
"Electivire is unable to battle! Samurott wins!" The referee announced.
"Sora has lost two of his and is now down to four! Sora has better come up with something or else it's not going to go his way!" The announcer announced. Sora calls back Electivire and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Back to action, Rillaboom!" Sora called out. Rillaboom came back out to battle.
"Rillaboom comes back out to battle!" The announcer announced. Tidus took out Samurott's Pokéball.
"Don't overdo it, come back," Tidus said, calling Samurott back. He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn, Unfezant!" Tidus called out. Unfezant came on out to battle.
"Tidus has sent out Unfezant to go against Sora's Rillaboom!" The announcer announced.
"Rillaboom! Use Double Hit!" Sora ordered. Rillaboom jumps to deliever a couple of beatings to Unfezant.
"No you don't! Unfezant! Dodge and use Aerial Ace!" Tidus ordered. Unfezant avoids Rillaboom's Double Hit and lands a hit with Aerial Ace. "Use Sky Attack!"
"If Rillaboom gets hit by that move, then he'll be wiped out. I better call him back just to play it safe!" Sora said in his thoughts. He calls back RIllaboom and looked over to Pikachu. He spoke out loud, "Your turn now, Pikachu!"
"Pika!" Pikachu said, entering the battlefield.
"Now Sora has sent out Pikachu out to go against Unfezant!" The announcer announced.
"Doesn't matter to me. Pikachu is still going down. Let it out now!" Tidus called out. Unfezant flew to land a hit with Sky Attack.
"Pikachu! Go head-to-head with Volt Tackle!" Sora ordered. Pikachu ran towards Unfezant with Volt Tackle.
"Unfezant heads right towards Pikachu with Sky Attack, and Pikachu heads right towards Unfezant with Volt Tackle! Talking about a clash of power!" The announcer announced. Both of Pikachu and Unfezant land a hit onto each other and both has taken loads of damage to one another. Pikachu suffered some recoil damage due to Volt Tackle's effects.
"Man, that Pikachu is tough. It has to be since it was with Sora since the Indigo Plateau. Unfezant! Use Air Slash!" Unfezant unleashed Air Slash right at Pikachu.
"Can't risk Volt Tackle since he took lots of damage from Sky Attack. And that recoil damage was no help. Pikachu! Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu avoided Air Slash with Quick Attack. "Now use Iron Tail!" Pikachu jumped and swings his tail around to land a hit.
"Dodge!" Tidus called out Unfeazant avoids Pikachu's Iron Tail.
"Pikachu and Unfeazent are matching speed for speed!" The announcer announced.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Tidus ordered. Unfeazent flew right at Pikachu, landing a hit. "Aerial Ace again!" Unfeazent readies himself to land a hit with Aerial Ace.
"Thunderbolt! Spread it around!" Sora ordered. Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt all over the battlefield, shocking Unfezant.
"Pikachu is making a comeback against Unfezant by unleashing Thunderbolt all around!" The annoucner announced. Unfeazent ends up being paralyzed by Pikachu's attack.
"Unfeazent's paralyzed! I gotta do something fast!" Tidus said.
"Use another Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt and lnads a heavy hit onto the proud Pokémon. Unfezant has been taken down. The referee raises the green flag.
"Unfezant is unable to battle! Pikachu wins!" The referee announced.
"Pikachu takes down Unfezant! Now Tidus is down to two more Pokémon in reserves!" The announcer announced. Tidus calls back his Unfezant and took out a Dive Ball.
"Your turn now, Floatzel!" Tidus called out. His Floatzel came on out to battle.
"Tidus's sixth Pokémon is his Floatzel! Will Pikachu be able to take down Floatzel or will it fall like Glalie and Electivire?" The announcer asked.
"You should come back, Pikachu.. You shouldn't overdo it," Sora said. Pikachu comes right back to Sora's side.
"Sora calls back his Pikachu! What Pokémon is he planning on sending out?" The annoucner asked. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Sceptile!" Sora called out. Sceptile came out to battle. Sceptile puts his twig in his mouth.
"Now it's Sceptile who is sent out to battle against Floatzel!" The annoucner announced. Sora took out his part of Sceptile's Mega Stone and he held it tight.
"Now to give it a test! Let mine and Sceptile's strengths be one! Mega Evolutions!" Sora called out. Sceptile's entire body gave off a glow as Sceptile has suddenly began to transform. Sceptile's head crests become more pointed with a round portion missing from the middle. Red marking surrounds his eyes, which become smaller and more narrow. The yellow seeds down its back grow larger. The last pair of seeds turn red, while the pair above it turns orange. Red stripes encircle the base of its tail and run across his lower belly. The leaves on his wrists become more pointed, and the upper ones have red tips and half-circles cut out of the middles. Covering his chest and shoulders are plates of leaves similar to those that form its tail. Sceptile's tail grew longer and developed a red stinger at the tip.Tidus wasn't expecting this to happen.
"Holy crap! It's Mega Evolution!" Tidus exclaimed in his thoughts.
"Ladies and gentlemen, what we are seeing is Mega Evolution! Sceptile is now a Mega Sceptile, making its attacks more powerful than before!" The announcer announced.
"Mega Sceptile! Use Seed Bomb!" Sora ordered. Mega Sceptile unleashed Seed Bomb, and it was way powerful than normally, landing a heavy blow onto Floatzel.
"Incredible! What incredible power!" The announcer announced.
"Now, use Leaf Blade!" Sora ordered. Mega Sceptile came at Floatzel with Leaf Blade and lands a heavy hit.
"Floatzerl! Use Ice Fang!" Tidus ordered. Floatzel came at Mega Sceptile with Ice Fang, ready to land a bite. Floatzel lands a heavy bite onto Mega Sceptile.
"That was super-effective! Because that Sceptile is now a Dragon Type, it retcieves twice as damage as it normally would!" The announcer announced.
"Mega Sceptile! Dragon Claw!" Sora ordered. Mega Sceptile slashses right at Floatzel. "Now, use Leaf Blade!" The four leaves on Mega Sceptile's wrists glow light green and form into two. Mega Sceptile then slicesFloatzel. The sea weasel Pokémon tries to get back up, but fell back down. The referee raises the green flag.
"Floatzel is unable to battle! Mega Sceptile wins!" The referee announced.
"Tidus is now down to one more Pokémon to use, while Sora still has four!" The annoucner announced.
"Wow, Mega Evolution is way more amazing than I thought. Looks like I'll have to finish off that Sceptile and fast," Tidus said, taking out Samurott's Pokéball and threw it. "Come back out, Samurott!" Tidus's Samurott came back out to battle. Sora call back Mega Sceptile and looked at Pikachu.
"You good to go, Pikachu?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu nodded. He re-enters the battle to battle against Samurott.
"And Pikachu is back out to battle! Now Let's see what Pikachu can do against Samurott!" The announcer announced.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Samurott! Dodge and use Razor Shell!" Tidus ordered. Samurott drew his sseamitars and swipes them at Pikachu, causing some heavy damage. "Now, use Hydro Cannon!" Samurott unleashed Hydro Cannon and it struck Pikachu hard. Pikachu had been taken down. The referee raises the red flag.
"Pikachu is unable to battle! Samurott wins!" The referee annoucned.
"Now Sora has three in reserves! Which one is next?" The announcer asked. Sora went ot pick up Pikachu and placed him by his side.
"Get some rest, Pikachu. You earned it," Sora said.
"Pika, Pi," Pikachu said. He sat down next to Sora.Sora took out Alakazam's Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Alakazam!" Sora called out. Alakazam came out to abttle.
"Sora has sent out his Alakazam to battle against Samurott!" The announcer announced.
"Alakzam! Use Shadow Ball!" Sora ordered.
"Razor Shell!" Tidus ordered. Alakzam unleashed Shadow Ball, but Samurott cuts the ball of shadow in haf. "Now, use Aqua Jet!" Samurott uneashed Aqua Jet and it struck Alakazam hard.
"Samurott is making good use of its moves against this Psychic Type Pokémon!" The announcer announced.
"Sacred Sword!" Tidus ordered. Samurott lands a powerful hit. Alakazam has been taken down. The referee rraises the red flag.
"Alakazam is unable to battle! Samurott wins!" The referee announced.
"Tidus's Samurott takes down Alakazam! Now Sora is down to two more Pokémon to use!" The announcer announced. Sora took out Rillaboom's Pokéball and threw it.
"Rillaboom! Back to action!" Sora called out. Rillaboom came back out to battle. "Drum Beating!" Sora ordered. Rillaboom starts beating his drums, but Tidus has other plans.
"Sacred Sword! Use it to cut the roots!" Tidus ordered. Samurott cuts through the roots when they came out.
"Samurott has put a damper onto Rillaboom's Drum Beating! Could it be all over for Rillaboom?" The announcer asked.
"Now!" Tidus called out. Samurott finishes Rillaboom off with Sacred Sword. Rillaboom fell to the ground, beaten. The referee raises the red flag.
"Rillaboom is unable to battle! Samurott wins!" The referee announced.
"With Rillaboom eliminated, Sora has now one more Pokémon left to use!" The announcer announced. Sora took out Sceptile's Pokéball and threw it.
"Sceptile! Back to action!" Sora called out. Mega Sceptile came back out to battle. Mega Sceptile puts his twig in his mouth.
"Samurott! Sacred Sword!" Tidus ordered.
"Mega Sceptile! Use Leaf Blade!" Sora ordered. Mega Sceptile clashed Leaf Blade against Samurott's Sacred Sword. THe both of them held on. They kept clashing their blades against one another like they were swords.
"I don't believe what I am seeing, ladies and gentlemen, but it appears that Sceptile and Samurott are clashing their two attacks like they were swords! This is incredible!" The announcer announced. The two fully evolved starter Pokémon kept clashing against one another. A few times, each one of them smacked each other.
"Samurott! Use Razor Shell!" Tidus ordered.
"Mega Sceptile! Dragon Claw!" Sora ordered. Sceptile slashed at Samurott before Samurott could land a hit with Razor Shell.
"Both of these Pokémon are giving it everything they've got! It's anyone's guess on who will be moving on!" The announcer announced.
"Samurott! One more Razor Shell! Finish it off!" Tidus ordered. Samurott charges right at Mega Sceptile.
"Leaf Blade!" Sora ordered. Mega Sceptile charge at each other and they slash at one another. Both were doing a stance. Everyone were anxious to see who has won it. Mega Sceptile broke the pose and turned to Samurott. Samurott was still in his pose, but fell on his stomach. Tidus gasped as the referee raises the green flag.
"Samurott is unable to battle! Mega Sceptile wins! The winner of the first battle of the quarter finals is Sora!" The referee annoucned. The crowd cheers as Sora has won the battle.
"Sora has once again emerged victorious! He is the first to make it to the top four of the semi-finals!" The announcer announced. Tidus calls back his Samurott and walked up to Sora. The two trainers shook hands.
"You're even better than I remember, Sora. Nice battle," Tidus said.
"You too, Tidus," Sora said, shaking his hand. Tidus smiled.
Unknown to anyone, Jecht was wathing th battle from start to finish.
"You got sloppy, boy. You almost had him, and he still kicked your ass. Here I thought my son was better than that," Jecht said in his thoughts. He took his leave.
After the battle was over, Kairi waited for him and she embraced him. Sora embraces her back.
"That was a great battle, Sora," Kairi said.
"Thanks, Kairi. I'm just glad you were here to watch it," Sora said. Kairi smiled affectionatley.
"And here is a little something I owe you for winning," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a kiss on the lips. He kisses her back and they held each other in their kiss. Pikachu and Angel did the same thing as their trainers. Barry shows up and he is ready for his battle to get started.
"Hey, lovebirds, get a room!" Barry said. Sora and Kairi broke their kiss, as did Pikachu and Angel.
"Good luck in your battle, Barry," Sora said.
"Ha! I'm not going to need luck, because I'm going to win this thing!" Barry said.
"You have to win your battle first," Kairi said.
"I know, Kairi. You may have beaten Dawn in the Grand Festivl, but I'm going to come out on top!" Barry said. Barry took off to have his battle as the couples went off to rejoin their friends. They could only hope for the best for Lucas and Barry.
