Chapter 419 Snatch

At Toriel's house, Mom who was invisible was creeping around the place looking for Isaac. Mom made her way to what appeared to be a living room and saw Isaac sitting on the floor coloring in a coloring book. Sheo was standing a few feet away painting a picture and Jenka and Sly were sitting at a table playing checkers. It was all quite and peaceful making the perfect opportunity for Mom to strike and fulfill her holly mission. Mom readied her knife as she crept towards Isaac. No one sensed Mom's presence. Just a few more steps and a quick stab and it would all be over.
"Hey everyone I have snacks." Said Toriel as she walked into the room carrying a tray with cookies and milk on it.
Mom turned to face Toriel and a surge of anger went through her body. This monster had attacked Mom and prevented her from completing her mission. Mom's desire for revenge against Toriel overruled her mission goal and she changed at Toriel and stabbed her in her right shoulder! Toriel screamed in pain as she dropped the tray and fell to the ground grasping her shoulder. Everyone stared at Toriel in shock and concern. Jenka quickly got up and went over to Toriel to heal her with her magic. Isaac shot to his feet with tears in his eyes as he began to head towards Toriel. Sly took notice of one of the cookies Toriel had dropped shattered to bits as if someone had stepped on it. The veteran warrior quickly realized something was up and grabbed a jar of blue paint from Sheo and began to fling it's contents around the room. The paint splashed the floor, furniture, and some got on Mom's body.
"What in the world?!" Said Sheo looking at the paint that seemed to be floating in midair.
"An invisible assassin!" Said Sly before he leaped into the air and kicked the floating paint.
Sly's kick struck Mom in the chest knocking her to the ground and making her turn visible for everyone to see.
"Mom!" Cried Isaac in alarm.
"It's you." Said Toriel with a glare as Jenka helped her to her feet fully healed.
"I will accomplish my holly mission!" Snarled Mom as she scrambled to her feet knife at the ready.
"You're insane! We will not allow you to kill Isaac! Drop the knife and surrender!" Said Toriel.
Mom replied by reaching into her pocket and pulled out a bottle of growth potion. She uncorked it and chugged the potion in one gulp. Mom's body began to rapidly grow and expand. Toriel eyes went wide in alarm as she grabbed Isaac and she and the others fled the house. Mom continued to grow until she smashed through the roof of the house and toward over it and everyone else in the area.
"Behold the size of my resolve and devotion!" Bellowed Mom.
Isaac and everyone else looked up at the giant woman in horror. Unfortunately for Isaac and Toriel they ended up looking up Mom's skirt and saw Mom's thick flabby thighs and sweat stained panties. A very disturbing sight to behold. Toriel covered Isaac's eyes and quickly moved herself and Isaac to a different position, so they wouldn't have to to look at the horrid sight.
Mom glared down at the sight of the fleeing figures and tried to stomp on them, but Toriel managed to dodge them. This angered the giant woman, who raised her knife up to stab them, but Sly came leaping in and deflected Mom's knife with his big sword. Mom snarled at Sly and swatted at him, but he just flipped out of the way. Toriel and Isaac went over to Jenka and Sheo as they all watched Sly dodge about Mom and keep her distracted.
"How are we supposed to fight something like this?" Asked Toriel looking worrie.
"You must set aside your kindness and mercy and set our enemy ablaze, Toriel." Said Jenka.
"Alright I'll give it a shot." Said Toriel taking a deep breath and conjured up two large fireballs.
Toriel hurled the fireballs at Mom and they set her dress on fire! Mom screamed in both pain and surprise as she jumped around the area batting at the flames on her dress. Her jumping caused Toriel and the others to dodge about to avoid being stepped on and some of the sparks from the fiery dress caught the house remains on fire. Jenka used her magic to make some rocks rise up in front of Mom's path making her trip and fall to the ground and lose her knife. Mom rolled around on the ground snuffing out the flames and shrunk back to normal size.
Jenka and Sly focused on putting out the house fire as Toriel faced Mom. Mom staggered to her feet and faced Toriel with her knife. Isaac coward near Toriel not sure what to do, when suddenly a vine shot out of the ground, knocked Toriel down, and grabbed Isaac. The boy cried out in alarm as the vine carried him over to Mom and dropped him at her feet. Flowey then appeared before Mom.
"Alright here's the deal lady, I give you the kid in exchange for one of those growth potions of yours." Said Flowey.
"Deal." Said Mom pulling out a bottle of potion.
Flowey took the potion and Mom grabbed Isaac. Toriel got to her feet and tried to stop them, Flowey fired some pellets at her forcing to jump back. Mom took Isaac and ran into the tunnel and Flowey disappeared underground. Toriel cried out in dismay as the house fire was put out. Mom had snatched Isaac and escaped.
Miles away in the Gunslinger Lich's lair, the Gunslinger Lich was making plans with Laser Wizard to deal with the Gravity Falls explorers and find Horror's Hand. Laser Wizard's group was introduced to the Gunslinger Lich's advisor a elderly Minion named Gnarl. Gnarl was an old Brown Minion with a grey beard, who wore a tattered red cloak with some armor on the shoulders, and had a stick sticking up from the cloak with a glowing yellow stone tied to it that hung over Gnarl's head. The advisor told Laser Wizard's group about the various areas and environments in the Underground and the factions that operated in them. He also told them about the four classes of Minions and what they were capable of. Brown Minions were the brutes and soldiers, Green Minions were the quick assassins, Red Minions were capable of flinging fireballs and absorb fire, and Blue Minions were capable of breathing underwater and breathing.
Thanks to the Beast feeding one of his special turtles to Six and making her into his servant to serve as his eyes and ears the villains knew the whereabouts of the Gravity Falls group and what they were doing. Gideon would also call in and report to Laser Wizard on the explorers actions and whereabouts. The villains began to come up with plans to deal with the heroes. The Beast began to make plans to ambush the heroes in Snowdin, LeChuck wanted to attack the heroes at Waterfall, and Toffee thought it would be best to observe the others attacks before launching taking any action against the heroes. Laser Wizard meanwhile focused on getting as much information on Hotland as he could to locate and obtain Horror's Hand.
As all of this was going on Chi and her friends decided to explore the lair. The little group walked around taking in all the sights. They saw an armory, a forge, a place used for archery, a kitchen, and a dinning hall. The group traveled around some more and came across what appeared to be a dungeon and a torture chamber. Chi and her friends began to look in the cells. All of them seemed to be empty, until they finally came across a cell with an occupant. The person in the cell appeared to be a human teenager with waist-length white hair and purple eyes. She was wearing a short pale blue gown, with black bracelets, and blue slippers.
"Um...hello?" Said the girl with a nervous voice.
"Who are you?" Asked Samantha.
"I'm Elise and I'm a loyal...member of the Gunslinger Lich's army." Said the girl.
Chi took notice of Elise's eyes and how they nervously looked around the dungeon. She had seen nervousness like this with Mimi back in the Land of Tainted Souls. Elise was being abused in someway by the Gunslinger Lich and his underlings. Chi couldn't stand someone being treated like that.
"Why are you in a cage?" Asked Nyx.
"It's my room." Said Elise.
"Are you being tortured?" Asked Chi with serious tone in her voice.
Before Elise could say anything Gnarl came into the dungeon accompanied by several Brown and Green Minions. Elise let out a whimper and scurried to the back of her cell.
"There you are. I see you've met Elise. She's a very special girl." Said Gnarl as he stopped before the cell.
"Special how?" Asked Samantha.
"Elise is from another universe and was snatched up by Spirit to join her army, but she escaped and we found and recruited her. We eventually learned that Elise had some unique abilities that could be useful on the battlefield, but her personality was problematic, but my master found a way to fix that." Said Gnarl.
"What did he do?" Asked Alcor.
"Oh I'll let him explain the process. His currently in the dining hall with the others and I was sent to come collect you. Now come along, we don't want to keep them waiting." Said Gnarl turning and walking away.
Chi and her friends cast one last look at Elise before following Gnarl and the Minions out of the dungeon.
Meanwhile miles away in Snowdin village, Loke and Viper had traveled to Grillby's with their prisoner Winter Windster and now they were all three in Grillby's basemen. The basement served as a makeshift holding cell and interrogation room. Grillby allowed the Royal Guard to use his basement to help keep the peace. Winter Windster was currently unconscious tied and gagged in a chair with Viper standing guard over him. Loke made the prisoner was secured, before going up to the bar to make a phone call on his cellphone. He called Undyne first to report to her.
"Hey captain, me and Viper were patrolling Snowdin and we encountered Mr. Dark and Dark Corvo, along with a freezing monster called Winter Windster. Mr. Dark and Dark Corvo got away, but we did manage to defeat and capture Winter Windster thanks to the help of a couple of newcomers. We are at Grillby's right now waiting for the prisoner to regain consciousness so we can interrogate him." Said Loke.
"You and Viper did a good job. Keep me posted on your progress." Said Undyne.
"Will do." Said Loke before hanging up.
It was then that three individuals entered the bar. Loke looked at the newcomers and scowled at the newcomers as he recognized them as Luminous and a couple of Legion of Light flunkies. Luminous was a bright yellow humanoid with red eyes with orange and yellow irises. He wore a white bodysuit, with grey armor with a yellow sun emblem on his chest, a grey cape, and a helmet with three large spikes and two small spikes. Accompanying Luminous were Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright. Mr. Shine was a yellow crescent moon with a sneering face with white arms, legs, gloves, and large curvy shoes. Mr. Bright was a burning, reddish-orange sun with yellow checks and a mean expression. He wore white gloves and got around by floating. Luminous and his flunkies walked over to Loke.
"Hello Loke, I heard you failed to capture Mr. Dark again." Said Luminous.
"We did, but we did manage to capture one of his underlings, so we should be able to track him down and deal with him and maybe a few more of Spirit's goons." Said Loke.
"I highly doubt that. The Royal Guard doesn't have a good track rate and they lack the numbers and resources to do any real progress against Spirit and her forces." Said Luminous.
"Oh our track record is pretty good. There might not be many of us in the Royal Guard, but at least we're loyal to one another and would never betray each other. We don't have traitors like
Jota." Said Loke.
Luminous' skin glowed brightly as his fist trembled with rage. Jota was a very touchy subject for the Legion of Light. He had once been a member of the group, before he betrayed them and joined Spirit's forces. Loke was prepared for Luminous to attack him, when Luminous' phone began to ring and he calmed down to answer it. Luminous got into a brief conversation on the phone that seemed to cheer him up. He hung up and he turned to leave followed by Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright.
"Where you going?" Asked Loke.
"We're going to snatch a victory from some of Spirit's flunkies." Said Luminous as he and his followers left the bar.
