Episode 426: Miror B's Groove Part 1
A few days came and went after the addition of Dwebble after helping him get his home back. A Golett is running as fast as its feet could carry it. Golett ran pass a couple of sleeping Purrloin, and over a tree full of Joltik and Galvantula. Golett kept on running. Giving chase were a Mightyena and a Houndoom. A couple Team Shadow peons were chasing after it as well.
"Don't let it get away!" One of the Team Shadow peons said. Golett ran out from the Desert ruins and right through the woods.
As it turns out, Golett was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Golett was living happily in the Relic Castle, right in the Desert Resort. Golett was listening in on their conversation about the Meteonite. They assumed that Golett was sent by PHOP and they chased right after it.
Golett hid behind some trees to avoid the Team Shadow peons. The peons along with the Houndoom and Mightyena had lost track of it.
"Where the hell did it go?" The second Team Shadow Peon asked.
"It can't be too far," the first Team Shadow peon said. He looked over to Mightyena and Houndoom. "You two keep looking for that Golett. Tear the whole forest apart until you find it!" Mightyena and Houndoom left to find the Golett and bring itback to them.
Golett was miles away form them, so it stopped to take itself a break.
A little bit not too far, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew make a stop for a break when they're approached by a wondering trainer. He has his eye on Kairi.
"Hey, you're that girl who won the Striaton Contest, aren't you?" The trainer asked.
"Yes," Kairi said.
"Good, because I came looking for a match. So, how about it, girl?" The trainer challenged.
"My name is not 'girl', the name's Kairi," Kairi said.
"Whatever," the trainer said.
"How do you want to do this?" Kairi asked.
"Let's make it a three-on-three match! WHat do you say?" The trainer asked.
"Fine," Kairi said, getting ready. The trainer took out a Great Ball and threw it. "You're going in first, Purrloin!" Her Purrloin came on oout to battle.
"Go! Sawk!" The trainer called out. Sawk came on out doing a series of chops.
"A Sawk," Ventus said.
"Using a FIghting Type against Purrloin is a strong flavor. I am wondering what sort of recipe Kairi has to go in this matchup," Cilan said.
"Sawk! Use Karate Chop!" The trainer ordered. Sawk came at Purrloin with Karate Chop.
"Dodge and use Night Slash!" Kairi ordered. Purrloin came at Sawk with Night Slash, but the karate Pokémon dodged and lands a chop onto her.
"That was great, Sawk! Now, use Rock Smash!" The trainer ordered. Sawk lands a brutal hit onto Purrloin. The devious Pokémon gets back up on her feet. "That Purrloin took some heavy hits from both FIghting Type moves, how is it still able to stand?"
"Purrloin! Use Hone Claws, and then Night Slash!" Kairi ordered. Purrloin's claws extend and glow red as Purrloin swipes the air with her claws. Purrloin then comes right at Sawk with Night Slash, ready to go.
"Dodge and use Low Sweep!" The trainer ordered. Sawk tried to dodge, but Purrloin came too fast for it to dodge, and she lands a hit onto Sawk, earning a knockout.
"Yes! Purrloin has overcome her weakness to Fighting Types, and won!" Ventus said.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, Ven!" Iris said. The trainer called back his Sawk and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Whirlipede!" The trainer called out. A Whirlipede came on out to battle. Kairi calls back Purrloin and took out Pidove's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Pidove!" Kairi called out. Pidove came on out flying. "Okay, Pidove, start up with Air Cutter!"
"Whirliperde! Use Protect!" The trainer ordered. Whirlipede forms a protective barrier and Air Cutter bounces right off. "Now, use Toxic!" Whirlipede unleashed Toxic and it struck the tiny pigeon Pokémon, poisoning her. "Pidove's poisoned!"
"Now, use Venoshock!" The trainer ordered. Whirlipede unleashed Venoshock and lands a heavy blow onto Pidove.
"Pidove has taken even more damage than usually," Ventus said.
"Of course. Damge from Venoshock doubles when the opponet's poisoned," Cilan said.
"Venoshock, one more time!" Ther trainer ordered. Whirlipede unleashed Venoshock and lands a heavy blow onto Pidove, earning a knockout. Kairi calls back Pidove. "Get some rest, Pidove, you earned it."
"You were awesome as always, Whirlipede. That's enough excercise for right now," the trainer said, calling back Whirlipede. He took out one more Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn now, Palpitoad!" A Palpitoad came on out of its Pokéball. Kairi took out her next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Petilil!" Kairi called out. Petilil came on out to battle.
"Paliptoad! Use Supersonic!" The trainer ordered. Palpitoad unleashed a soundwave right at the bulb Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Stun Spore!" Kairi ordered. Petilil avoids Palpitoad's attack and unleashed Stun Spore, paralyzing the vibration Pokémon. "Now, use Leech Seed!" Petilil shot a small seed at Palpitoad, and roots emerge from inside, sapping Palpitoad's energy.
"Using Yes, Stun Spore and Leech Seed makes for a tangy combination!" Cilan said.
"Now, use Magical Leaf!" Kairi ordered. Petilil unleashed Magical Leaf and it struck Palpitoad hard. The vibration Pokémon wasn't going down that easily, so it got back up on its feet.
"Palpitoad! Use Sludge Bomb!" The trainer ordered. Palpitoad tried to unleash Sludge Bomb, but it was too paralyzed to unleash it.
"Palpitoad's paralysis is getting the best of it!" Terra said.
"Magical Leaf, one more time!" Kairi ordered. Peitlil unleashed another Magical Leaf and it struck Palpitoad hard. Palpitoad was now down and out. The trainer called back Palpitoad and walked up to Kairi.
"That was impressive, gir- I mean, Kairi. I can see why you won that Contest," the trainer said.
"Thanks. You were pretty good, too," Kairi said. The trainer smiled at the kind compliment.
Meanwhile, Miror B and his forces were settled in the Relic Castle as Miror B has set up his own dance studio with his Ludicolo joining in.
"Yeah! Ooh!" Miror B said as he was moonwalking and dancing to the beat. "Hee-hee!" The Ludicolo were also dancing to the beat.
Elsewhere, Ghetsis along with six other men wearing the same kind of robes as Ghetsis sat in their charis as a Team Plasma grunt has entered the room.
"Seven Sages! Seven Sages!" The Team Plasma grunt said. He bowed his head in resect. "Forgive me for entering without permission, but it is urgent!"
"Speak," Ghetsis said.
"Yes. We have word that a a band of strangers had arrived in Unova not too long ago," the Team Plasma grunt reported.
"Who? International police?" One of the other sages asked.
"No, sirs. They wear uniforms like which I have not seen before! They have been seen in the Relic Castle in the Desert Resort," the Team Plasma grunt reported.
"Go there and deal with them. Take a hanful of our people with you," Ghetsis ordered.
"Yes, sage Ghetsis. I shall get there at once!" The Team Plasma grunt said. The grunt took his leave of the Seven Sages.
Back to the group, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew were walking besides a river when they heard a familiar voice.
"Outta my way! Outta my way!" Bianca called out. She bumped right into Sora, making him fall right into the water.
"Sora!" Kairi called out. Sora spat out some water as he stood up.
"Better to make a splash than to take tree in the face," Sora said. Sora got out of his wet clothes as they dry.
"I'm so ver sorry, Sora," Bianca said.
"Accidents happens. Anyway, what's the hurry? Why did you bump into me like you did?" Sora asked.
"Actually, I was looking for you. Professor Juniper sent me to find you," Bianca said.
"Professor Juniper?" Sora asked.
"Couldn't she just contact us through her lab?" Iris asked.
"She's not at her lab. She said she wanted me to direct you to the nearest Pokémon Center. She said she has someone who says that knows you. He has silver hair, and he has an Eevee with him," Bianca said.
"And didn't he happen to have a girl with blonde hair with an Azurill with him?" Sora asked.
"Yes he did as a matter of fact," Bianca said.
"Riku and Naminé are with her?" Terra asked.
"Looks like we'll be meeting him sooner than expected," Cilan said. "By the way, how did your rematch go?"
"I won my Gym Badge. Cress almost had me. And he wanted me to tell you that he says hello when I see you," Bianca said, holding out a Trio Badge.
"Glad you did great, Bianca," Sora said, putting hs now dried clothes. "We should go and see what got Professor Juniper so worked up."
Everyone all nodded with agreement as the a snarl is heard.
"You hear that?" Meowth asked.
"It sounded very close," Ventus said.
They got their answer when Golett came running out with a Mightyena and a Houndoom trapping it.
"A Golett!" Iris exclaimed.
"Axew!" Axew said.
"But who are those Pokémon?" Bianca asked.
"It's a Houndoom and a Mightyena," Aqua said.
"It's strange to see them here because not one of them can be found here in Unova," Cilan said.
"Cilan, we can discuss that later, because Golett's in trouble!" Sora said, taking out a Pokéball.
"He's right, because it needs help," Kairi agreed, taking out a Pokéball as well.
"Go! Panpour!" Sora called out.
"Go for it, Deerling!" Kairi called out.
Sora and Kairi's Pokémon came right out and waited for instructions.
"Panpour! Use Water Gun on Houndoom!" Sora ordered.
"Deerling! Use Tackle on Mightyena!" Kairi ordered.
Panpour unleashed Water Gun as Deerling charged right at Mightyena. Houndoom and Mightyena charges at the two Pokémon with Thunder Fang.
"They're using Thunder Fang!" Cilan said.
"Dodge!" Sora and Kairi called out. Panpour and Deerling dodged the attacks.
"Use Aqua Tail!" Sora ordered.
"Use Double Kick!" Kairi ordered.
Panpour swipes his tail at Houndoom as Deerling gave a couple of kicks to Mightyena.
"Now, use Water Gun!" Sora ordered. Panpour unleashed Water Gun, and it washes the canine Pokémon, making them flee. Houndoom turned and barked at them. Houndoom proceeded to go.
"What did Houndoom just say?" Aqua asked.
"Houndoom just said that they won't forget this; so you'll see our friends soon," Meowth translated. Sora looked over to Golett.
"You don't have to be scared. You're safe," Sora said.
"Golett, Gol, Gol, Golett, lett, Golett, Golett, Golett, Gol, Gol," Golett said.
"Meowth? Translation?" Sora asked.
"Golett just said that those two Pokémon belonged to some humans that wore funny looking outfits," Meowth translated.
"Could it be Team Plasma again?" Terra asked.
"I hope not. And if it is, then I won't have a problem in teaching them a lesson again," Sora said.
"Shouldn't we meet with Professor Juniper?" Iris reminded everyone.
"She's right. We can worry about Team Plasma later," Kairi said.
"And what about Golett?" Ventus asked.
"It's coming with us. There's a chance that they'll be still after it," Sora said.
"I agree. Golett will be much safer with us protecting it," Cilan said.
With that said, the group made their way to the nearest Pokémon Center with Professor Juniper, Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill waiting for them. Officer Jenny was also with them.
"Riku!" Sora said.
Naminé!" Kairi said.
"Sora, Kairi!" Riku said.
"It's good to see you," Naminé said.
"I brought them like you requested, Professor," Bianca said.
"Good, because we are in need of your assistance," Professor Juniper said.
"Riku has filled us in on how you dealt with criminal organizations that are based in Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh," Officer Jenny pointed out.
"Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh?" Iris asked.
"She means Team Rocket in Kanto, Team Magma and Team Aqua in Hoenn, and Team Galactic in Sinnoh," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu nodded.
"Anyway, why did you call for us?" Kairi asked.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"We called for your assistance since there is trouble in the Relic Castle, located in the Desert Resort. We got a tip from a couple of witnesses who says that they spotted a band of suspicious-looking people entering the Relic Castle. They arrived there no too long ago," Officer Jenny explained.
"Suspicious-looking people? Wait, you mean it has something to do with Team Plasma?" Sora asked.
"That's who we suspected at first, but it's someone entirely different," Professor Juniper said.
"Any idea who it is that we're dealing with?" Riku asked.
"I am not exactly sure, but we were able to indentify one of them," Officer Jenny said, holding out a mugshot of Miror B. "From what we could gather, this person calls himself Miror B; his true identity is unknown. We believe that he is leading this strange band of people. What they're doing there is unknown."
"Miror B?" Sora asked.
"I never heard of that guy," Riku said.
"Neither have we until now. Regardless, he is in possession of two Ludicolo. And the witnesses says that he is apparently dancing with them through some sort of music," Officer Jenny said.
"He might not be with Team Plasma, but he's definitely trouble," Sora said.
"The people inside are skilled Pokémon trainers, and they were able to defeat anyone who entered inside; even the police," Officer Jenny said.
"Your recent fight with Team Galactic is the reason we asked for your help, Sora. We believe you and your friends would stand a much better chance against them then we wouldn't" Professor Juniper said.
"I don't know who those guys, or what they're planning, but it's a good thing were here to clean them out," Sora said.
"You're not thinking of taking them on all by yourself, are you, Sora?" Iris asked.
"Of course not. You, Cilan, and Bianca should be more than welcome to tag along," Sora said.
"What about us?" Ventus asked.
"You should stay behind, Ven," Sora said.
"He's right. The Desert Resort is too dangerous, and you might end up getting lost inside the Relic Castle," Aqua added.
"And there's a chance that Miror guy or someone working for him that will kidnap you and use you to blackmail me," Sora said. "I would be in so much hot water with your mom and dad if something bad happens to you."
"We all would," Terra said.
"Naminé, you should do the same," Riku said. "Your parents trusted me and I will never forgive myself if something happens."
"Riku, I worry about you every time you go and fight some bad guy," Naminé said.
"And I'm sorry. I just want to keep you safe," Riku said. He hugged Naminé, and she hugs him back. With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Iris, Cilan, and the Pokémon all board a helicopter and they fly to the Desert Resort.
"I don't think we been introduced. My name's Bianca," Bianca said.
"Riku. You already met Naminé, my girlfriend. And this is my partner, Eevee," Riku said.
"Vee," Eevee said.
"I just wanted to say, your Eevee is just so adorable! Especially with that hairdo!" Bianca said.
"It would seem that you have an exquisite taste, Riku," Cilan said.
"Thanks, Cilan, wasn't it?" Riku asked.
"That's right. It's good to finally be meeting you in person at last. Sora and Kairi has shared some delicious stories about your adventures," Cilan said.
"I don't doubt it," Riku said. Riku looked right at Golett. "Anyway, what's the deal with this Golett?"
"We met this Golett when it was being chased by a Houndoom and a Mightyena," Kairi said.
"And we know those can't be found in Unova," Sora said.
"That would mean they belong to someone else," Riku said.
"We already got that idea when Golett filled us in about some weird humans. I think that Miror B fits the bill perfectly," Meowth said.
"It's stange that they would attack a Pokémon for no reason, but it makes sense for a couple of Dark Type Pokémon to be used against it since Golett is a Ghost Type," Cilan said, stroking his chin.
"You think it might be someone i the Relic Castle?" Kairi asked.
"Most likely. I suspect that there's a secret recipe cooking in the Relic Castle even as we speak," Cilan said.
"And that gives us more reason to look into it," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"We make a landing in the desert, close enough to the Relic Castle, but you'll have to get the rest of the way by foot," Officer Jenny said.
"Also, you can keep in touch with us with your Xtransceivers, so keep those on your wrists at all times. That way, you can make contact with us if anything happens," Professor Juniper said.
"Gotcha," Sora said.
The helicopter makes a landing in the sand as Sora, Kairi, Riku, Cilan, Iris, Bianca, and the Pokémon exits off. Sora access his Pokémon Box and exchanges his Pansage for his Pidove. Golett comes along as a guide.
"Golett," Golett said.
"You're going to lead the way, Golett?" Sora asked.
"Lett," Golett nodded.
"Okay," Sora said.
The trainers follows the automation Pokémon through the Desert Resort.
"Be careful," Professor Juniper said.
As they kept on going, they came across a Maractus. It was shaking its arms, sounding like maracas. It attacks the group, making Kairi step in.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel unleashed Swift at the cactus Pokémon. "Now, use Iron Tail!" Angel swings her tail and struck Maractus hard on the spot. "Headbutt!" Angel headbutts Maractus. Kairi prepares a Pokéball and threw it. It struck Maractus, making it flow inside. The Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box goes off asking her if she wants to keep Maractus with her. She chose to send Maractus to Professor Oak's lab. "That was close."
"That Maracus must have thought we were either invading its territory, or it thinks we were with whoever it was," Cilan said.
"Either way, we must be getting close," Sora said. They spotted the Relic Castle in the desert, and saw there were no gaurds standing outside. "No gaurds. Either they couldn't stand the heat, or they're just lazy."
"We'll we gotta get in," Iris said.
"She's right. BUt we should be careful, because we don't exactly know who we're dealing with, but we shouldn't be careless," Riku said.
"How is it going to go down?" Bianca asked.
"We'll do this in teams of three. Sora, Cilan, you're with me. The girls will be a team. Meowth will go with the girls," Riku said.
"Okay," Kairi said.
"We split up as soon as we enter. And we can make contact on our Xtransceivers if anything happens," Riku said.
"Roger that,' Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
With that said, the group went inside the Relic Castle and wne their own way. Golett went with the boys as they searched around. Cilan was astounded by the sights.
"This is outstanding! This is the most wondrous thing I have ever seen! Not only I am a connoisuer of Pokémon, but of also of ancent ruins! The discoveries we make here!" Cilan said.
"Cilan, this isn't a field trip. We're on a serious mission," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"He's right, Cilan. This isn't the time to do some exploring," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Over to the girls and Meowth, they searched around for any clues of Miror B or anyone else.
"We better keep our eyes open. We don't know who or what we'll bump into," Kairi said.
"Not even sure if I want to," Bianca said.
Just when the girls were about to keep going, a boy with a light blue Psyduck show up in front of them, startling them. They all screamed. The boy has blonde hair and has a pair of small round glasses. He wore a white shirt with a Pokéball on the center, and colored blots. He wore blue, green, and yellow pants, and white shoes.
"Don't do that!" Iris exclaimed.
"What are you all doing in here?" The boy asked.
"We could ask you the same thing," Meowth said. The boy looked at Meowth.
"A talking Meowth? Too bad, it's not Shiny, because I would have added one to my collection of Shines," the boy said.
"Um, I don't mean to be rude, but who are you, and how did you get in here?" Kairi asked.
"Of course! My name is Shane Seeker! I am seeking the world to collect Shiny Pokémon!" Shane said.
"Shiny Pokémon?" Bianca asked.
"Pokémon that are in a completely different color than normal. Just like that Psyduck," Kairi said.
"I never seen a Psyduck like this before," Bianca said.
"It's nice to meet you, Shane. My name's Kairi, and this is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Vee," Angel said.
"My name's Iris, and this is Axew," Iris said. Axew came out of her hair.
"Axew!" Axew said.
"And I'm Bianca," Bianca introduced. "How did you get in here?"
"Through the door, of course. How did you get in?" Shane asked.
"Same way," Kairi said.
"I see. As you probably already know, I am searching for Shiny Pokémon that dwell here in the Relic Castle. The most common Pokémon that live here are Yamask, Cofagrigus, Golett, and Golurk. Are you searching for some Pokémon to catch as well?" Shane asked.
"Not exactly. We got some word that some guys lurking around here; bad guys to be exact. You haven't seen any have you?" Meowth asked.
"Bad guys? Not any I have seen," Shane said.
"Of course it would be too easy," Iris groaned.
"But you got to admit, it was worth a shot," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel agreed.
"Good luck with whatever it is you're doing, because I got some Shiny Pokémon to find," Shane said.
"Wait, I don't think we should let you go alone. The people here might spot you if you're not careful," Kairi said.
"I haven't seen any people here, so I'm off," Shane said.
"Psyduck!" Psyduck said,
He and the Shiny Psyduck took off to seek more Shiny Pokémon.
Over to the boys, they searched around for any signs of Miror B.
"Man, how hard is it to spot someone with a giant afro?" Sora asked.
"Pika, Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I think it'll be too easy for them to just show up, Sora," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
They entered a chamber, filled with masks and coffins. The masks were of Yamask, and the coffins were Cofagrigus. One of the Yamask woke up as the boys looked around. Golurk grabs Sora and shook its head.
"You odn't want us going this way?" Sora asked.
"Lett," Golett nodded.
"Why not?" Sora asked. Golett pointed to the masks and coffins on the floor. "You odn't want us going there because of those?" Golett nodded. "They're just masks and coffins."
"Wait a minute, Sora. I don't think those are ordinairy masks and coffins. I can bet you that those are Yamask masks laying around. And the coffins are Cofagrigus," Cilan said.
"Cilan's right. Yamask and Cofagrigus are known to hang around in old ruins," Riku pointed out. "The same with Golett and Golurk." The Yamask became curious of the humans in the chamber.
"They must be sleeping. So, if we wake them up, they might attack," Cilan said.
"You're right. They'll do the same thing just like that Maractus Kairi caught earlier," Sora said.
"We better sneak out before they do," Riku said. With that said, Sora took Golett by the hand as they tiptoed through, hoping not to make a peep. The Yamask follows them as Cilan turned around.
"Guys?" Cilan asked.
"Shh," Sora and Riku shushed. The boys kept going as some more Yamask masks started to float up. Cilan turned again.
"Sora, Riku," Cilan said.
"Shh," Sora shushed. "You want the bad guys to hear us?" It didn't take long before the Cofagrigus start to wake up. Cilan turned again.
"Guys," Cilan squeaked. Sora and Riku turned as they heard the Yamask and Cofagrigus shushing them.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Eevee! Shadow Ball!" Riku ordered.
Pikachu and Eevee launched their attacks at the ghost Pokémon. The Yamask and Cofagrigus avoids their attacks. Cofagrigus unleashed their ghostly hands to salsh at them.
"Watch out! Shadow Claw!" Cilan gasped.
"Eevee!" Riku calle dout. Eevee jumped and he isn't affected by the attack.
"Good thinking, Riku! Ghost Type attacks don't affect Normal Types!" Sora said.
"Deliciously clever!" Cilan said.
"You can jump in any time now!" Riku said.
"Of ccourse," Cilan said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Pansage! Go!" Pansage came on out. "Use Bullet Seed!" Pansage unleashed Bullet Seed, and they struck the Yamask and Cofagrigus. Golett unleashed a shadowy fist and lands a hit on a Cofagrigus.
"That was Shadow Punch," Sora said.
"Super-effective on other Ghost Type Pokémon!" Cilan said.
"Let's get out of here while we still can!" Sora said.
"I second that," Cilan said.
The boys and the Pokémon retreats downwards while the first Yamask follow them. The other Yamask and the Cofagrigus fell back to sleep.
The boys and the Pokémon had made sre there was distance between them and the ghost Pokémon.
"They're not following us, so I'm going to guess they lost interest in us," Sora said.
"Either that or they're too sleepy to deal with us," Riku said.
"That just means one less problem for us," Cilan said.
"Then, let's get going before we run into anymore problems, or it runs into us," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
Over to the girls and Meowth, they serched around for some clues.
"Nothing. I just hope the boys has much better luck than we are right now," Iris said.
"Me too. Shouldn't we go and meet up with them?" Bianca asked.
"The problem is, we don't know where to meet them exactly," Kairi said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Axew," Axew said. Angel's ears perk up.
"Eevee, vee?" Angel asked. She runs in a direction.
"Angel?" Kairi asked.
"She must have heard something," Meowth said. The girls and the two other Pokémon ran towards her when they heard a couple of voices talking.
"You think Miror B is going to cut us in on that Meteonite?" One voice asked. It belonged to Trudly.
"I don't think so, Trudly. He'll just blow our pay on his own private dance studio," Folly said.
"Yeah, you're probably right, Folly. Can't blame a guy for asking," Trudly said. The girls and the Pokémon got a good look at the two of them.
"What are they talkig about?" Iris asked.
"I don't know, but we might learn some more if we listen to," Kairi said.
"We only been here for like a couple of weeks, and the whole Meteonite business is going smoothly with that data the peons stole for us," Folly said.
"Yeah. I think Miror B pays more attentiopn to them more than he pays attention to us," Trudly said.
"What in the word is a Meteonite?" Bianca asked, tripping. The girls all fell forward, catching their attention.
"Someone's here!" Trudly said. Trudly and Folly went forward. "Didn't your mommies and daddies ever tell you it's not nice to spy on people?" Folly looked right at Kairi.
"Hey, doesn't she look familar?" Folly asked.
"Come to think of it, she does look familiar. I just can't put my finger on it," Trudly said.
"You know these guys, Kairi?" Iris asked. Trudly and Folly winced.
"No I don't," Kairi said.
"Ah! That's it! That's Kairi, the Pokémon Coordinator we were told about!" Folly said.
"And if she's here, then Sora's here, too! Miror B's going to bust a button when he hears about this!" Trudly said.
"I have a feeling they're not too fond of you," Iris said.
"You got that right! She and Sora has been our hit list for a while, since she and him took on Team Rocket!" Folly said.
"Miror B will be happy when we take you right to him," Trudly said.
"Not going to happen, you jerks!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel agreed.
"Yeah, you guys don't look like you could catch a cold!" Meowth said.
"A talking Meowth?" Folly asked.
"Hey, isn't that the Meowth who used to hang with those Team Rocket losers?" Trudly asked.
"Who cares? Let's just bring them down!" Folly said. They each took out a Pokéball as did Iris. Kairi turned to Bianca.
"What Pokémon do you have, Bianca?" Kairi asked.
"I have my partner!" Bianca said, holding out a Pokéball. "Go! Pignite!" She threw it and Pignite came on out to battle.
"Go! Deino!" Iris called out.
"Go for it, Angel!" Kairi called out.
"Go! Exploud! Lombre!" Folly called out.
"Go! Ariados! Dusclops! Machoke!" Trudly called out.
Trudly and Folly's Pokémon came on out to battle.
"That's five against three!" Iris said.
"Iris, don't worry about that now! Just focus on beating them!" Kairi said.
"Ariados! Use Sludge Bomb! Dusclops! Use Shadow Punch! Machoke! Use Frustration!" Trudly ordered.
"Exploud! Use Hyper Voice! Lombre! Use Hydro Pump!" Folly ordered.
The opposing Pokémon all launched their attacks. Pignite gets struck by Dusclops's Shadow Punch.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered.
"Deino! Use Dragon Rage!" Iris ordered.
"Pignite! Use Flamethrower!" Bianca ordered.
The girls' Pokémon all unleashed their attacks on their oppoents.
Over to the boys, they ventured through the ruins, and they all run into several Team Shadow peons.
"What the?" Sora asked.
"Sora Ketchum, right?" One of the Team Shadow peons asked.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"The ones who takes you down; along with your friends," the second Team Shadow peon said. Golett hid behind Sora. He then realized that they were the people Golett has been running from, and the ones who sent Mightyena and Houndoom after it.
"You're welcome to try," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
Back to the girls and to two of Miror B's flunkies.
"Dusclops! Use Psychic!" Trudly ordered.
Dusclops lifts Angel and Pignite up, but it doesn't affect Deino since being a Dark Type.
"Lombre! Use Energy Ball!" Folly ordered. Lombre uneashed Energy Ball and lands a hit onto Deino.
"Deino!" Iris gasped.
"Here comes Meowth!" Meowth said, running towards them.
"Machoke! Frustration!" Trudly ordered. Machoke gave Meowth some beatings and then tossed him to the side.
"Here goes Meowth," Meowth said in a daze.
"You're out of your league, girl! You're no match for us!" Trudly said, laughing.
"You don't know me as well as you think," Kairi said, taking out five more of her Pokéballs and threw them. "Go! Pidove, Petilil, Patrat, Purrloin, and Deerling!" Bianca took out two more Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Minncino and Shelmet!" Bianca called out. Minnino and Shelmet both came out. Iris thought about using her Druddigon since he's the strongest one she's got, but she knew Druddigon won't listen to her at all. Trudly and Folly laughed at Kairi's Pokémon.
"You think those pisqueaks are a match for our badass Pokémon? Don't make me laugh!" Trudly said.
"They look like they won't stand much of a chance!" Folly said.
"Don't underestimate them just because they're cute! Patrat! Use Bite! Pidove! Use Air Cutter! Purrloin! Use Night Slash! Deerling! Use Double Kick! Angel Use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Kairi's Pokémon all launched their attacks on their opponets, but they were overpowered.
"Don't worry, Kairi, I'll help you out! Deino! use Dragon Breath!" Iris ordered. Deino unleashed Dragon Breath.
"Ariados! use Signal Beam!" Trudly ordered. Ariados overpowers Deino's Dragon Breath, and lands a hit with Signal Beam, dealing heavy damage.
"Mincinno! Use Tail Slap! Pignite! use Arm Thrust!" Bianca ordered. Minnicno and Pignite all came at Exploud and Lombre.
"Dusclops! In front of Pignite and Minnino!" Trudly ordered. Dusclops gets in front of its oppoents and took the hit, doing nothing. Bianca was dumbfounded.
"Huh? How could that happen?" Bianca asked.
"Dusclops is a Ghost Type, so Normal and Fighting Type moves has zero effect on him!" Kairi said.
"That's so unfair!" Bianca pouted.
"We don't do fair!" Folly said. "Exploud! Use Earthquake!"
"Dusclops! use Psychic to lift up the others!" Trudly ordered. Dusclops uses Psychic to lift up the others as Machoke shook the ground. All of the girls' Pokémon were struck hard. Pidove was unaffected due to her being a Flying Type.
"You missed one!" Folly said.
"Quick Fix! Ariados! Use Sludge Bomb!" Trudly ordered. Ariados unleashed Sludge Bomb, landing a hit onto Pidove.
"No! Pidove!" Kairi gasped. Pidove fell right to the ground, but Kairi catches her. "Are you okay?" Pidove repsponded. She fought ouf Kairi's hold. "Pidove, no! You're too weak to keep going!" Pidove gave out a loud cry as she started to evolve.
"Pidove's evolving!" Bianca exclaimed.
Pidove was now a Tranquil.
"Pidove is now a Tranquil!" Iris said.
"Axew!" Axew said.
"It doesn't matter! It's still going down! Lombre! use Hydro Pump!" Folly ordered. Lombre unleashed Hydro Pump.
"Use Gust!" Kairi ordered. Tranquil flapped her wings and they took the jolly Pokémon in the wind. Kairi turned to Iris. "Iris, I know it's risky, but we're going to need all the help we could get."
"I know, but," Iris said.
"He's the only one you can go on," Kairi said. Iris knew she was right, but what other choice did she have? She took out Druddigon's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Druddigon!" Iris called out. Druddigon came on out to battle.
"Oh, so you did have another one," Trudly said. "That wipy Druddigon is no match for my Machoke! Use Frustration!" Machoke came at Druddigon, but he swipes at the superpower Pokémon with Dragon Claw. Druddigon has overpowered the rest of the Pokémon all by himself. Trudly and Folly were shocked to see that they were all beaten by a singel Dragon Type. They call their Pokémon back and ran off. "We'll remember this!"
"You haven't seen the last of us!" Folly said.
"After them!" Iris said.
Not needing to be told twice, the girls and the Pokémon all chased after Miror B's henchmen. Hopefully to lead them to Miror B himself. What about the boys, and how well they do against the Team Shadow peons? Just wait and see.
