Episode 428: Miror B's Groove Part 3
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Golett all head down to the center of the Relic Castle to drive out Miror B while Iris and Bianca stayed behind to deal with Ferma and Reath, which leads us to this point. They stared at the two Team Shadow members.
"Okay, spill it! What's this Meteonite?" Iris asked.
"That's for you to know, and for you not to worry about it," Ferma said.
"That doesn't make any sense!" Iris said.
"Axew!" Axew said.
"What she means is, children shouldn't be getting into the business of grown-ups," Reath said.
"We can take you on!" Bianca said.
"You are welcome to try! Aipom! Use Shadow Claw! Yanma! Use Sonicboom! Furret! Use Iron Tail! Mantine! Use Wing Attack!" Ferma ordered.
"Remoraid! use Bubble Beam! Luvdisc! Use Water Pulse! Ariados! Use Night Shade!" Reath ordered.
The Pokémon all launched their assault on Deino and Pignite.
"Dodge!" Iris called out. Deino moved, but Pignite was struck hard by Mantine's wings and Ariados's Night Shade.
"That Deino is too fast for us," Reath said.
"The Pignite's our target! We'll deal with it first, then Deino," Ferma said.
"Deino! Dragon Rage on Luvdisc!" Iris ordered. Deino unleashed Dragon Rage on Luvdic. She turned to Bianca. "You got to do better or they're going to win!"
"I'll try! Pignite! Use Arm Thrust on Remoraid!" Bianca ordered. Pignite thrusts his arms forward towards Remoraid.
"Dodge and use Psybeam!" Reath ordered. Remoraid unleashed Psybeam and struck Pignite hard. Ariados strung Pignite in its webs, same with Deino.
"Deino!" Iris cried.
"Pignite!" Bianca cried.
"That was great, Reath," Ferma said.
"Thank you," Reath said.
"String them up along with the other two!" Ferma said.
"With pleasure," Reath said. Just then, Riku, Cilan, Shane, Eevee, and Psyduck show up.
"Eevee! Swift!" Riku ordered. Eevee unleashed Swift. The stars cuts through the webs, much to the frustration of Ferma and Reath. The Pokémon were now loose. "Where are Sora and Kairi?"
"They went after Miror B by themselves," Iris said.
"You are such a pain!" Reath said.
"We're going to teach you some respect!" Ferma said. "Aipom! Use Shadow Claw!" Aipom came at the Pokémon with Shadow Claw.
"Eevee! Quick Attack!" Riku ordered. Eevee lands a Quick Attack onto Aipom. "Now, use Swift!" Eevee unleashed Swift onto Aipom, Yanma, and Mantine. Cilan threw his Pokéball.
"Go! Pansage!" Cilan called out. Pansage came on out to battle. "Use Bullet Seed!" Pansage unleashed Bullet Seed and struck the attacking Pokémon.
"Furret! Use Super Fang!" Ferma ordered. Furret came at Pansage with Super Fang.
"Deino! Dragon Breath!" Iris ordered. Deino unleashed Dragon Breath and struck Furret. "Dragon Breath again, Deino!" Deino unleashed Dragon Breath once again.
"Detect!" Ferma ordered. Yanma uses Detect to dodge.
"Shadow Ball on Yanma!" Riku ordered. Eevee unleashed Shadow Ball and it struck Yanma on the spot.
"Pignite! Use Flamethrower!" Bianca ordered. Pignite unleashed Flamethrower and it hits Yanma on the spot, knocking it out.
"You're going to pay for that, blondie! Mantine! Use Aerial Ace!" Ferma ordered. Mantine dashed right at Pignite.
"Deino! Dragon Rage!" Iris ordered. Deino unleashed Dragon Rage and it struck Mantine hard.
"Vine Whip!" Cilan ordered. Pansage smacked Mantine with Vine Whip.
"Aipom! Shadow Claw on Pansage!" Ferma ordered.
"Deino! Tackle on Aipom!" Iris ordered. Deino tackles right into Aipom before it could use Shadow Claw on Pansage.
"I appreciate the assistance, Iris," Cilan said.
"Aariados! Night Shade on Deino!" Reath ordered.
"Eevee! Shadow Ball on Ariados!" Riku ordered. Eevee unleashed Shadow Ball and struck the spider-like Pokémon before he could land a hit.
"Thanks, Riku," Iris said.
"Don't thank me yet. We can end this by combining our moves; How about it?" RIku suggested.
"A delicious idea, Riku! Let's do it!" Cilan said.
"Iris, start us off!" Riku said.
"Deino! Use Dragon Breath!" Iris ordered.
"Pansage! Use Bullet Seed!" Cilan ordered.
"Pignite! Use Flamethrower!" Bianca ordered.
"Eevee! Use Shadow Ball!" Riku ordered.
"Psyduck! Use Water Gun!" Shane ordered.
"All of the Pokémon unleashed their attacks and they combined into each other and lands a heavy hit on all of them. Ferma and Reath were even caught in the blast.
"Now, to get to Sora and Kairi," Riku said.
"Right," the rest of the group agreed and went to look for their friends.
Meanwhile, Miror B was presented the Meteonite by a Team Shadow peon.
"Here it is, sir. The Meteonite," the Team Shadow peon said.
"Groovy, baby! Master Mateus is going to bust a button when I present this bad boy to him," Miror B said. "And I'm going to bust a move, before I do!" He starts to celebrate as the music starts playing.
OVer to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Golett, they hear music playing.
"What's that?" Kairi asked.
"Sounds like someone's having his own private party," Sora said.
"And we're just the bunch who are going to crash it," Meowth said.
"You're right, Meowth. We can sneak right on Miror B while he's doing whatever it is," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
The couple and the Pokémon followed the music right to its source. They could tell they were getting closer when the music was growing louder. As they were getting closer, they looked and saw Miror B getting down to his bad self to the beat.
"Feel the beat, ya'll! Feel the beat ya'll! Feel the beat ya'll! Hee-hee!" Miror B sang. His com starts going off, but he wasn't hearing it. The Team Shadow peon answers.
"Yeah?" The Team Shadow peon asked. He listened. "What? How could you let them slip by you?" The Team Shadow peon listened. "Yeah, I figured he needs to know. Yeah, I'll tell him!" He broke contact and he killed the music. Miror B stopped dancing when the music has stopped.
"Hey, who killed the music?" Miror B asked. He turned to the Team Shadow peon. "What's the idea turning off the groove?"
"I apolgize, sir, but we got word that the intruders has gotten pass most of our forces and they're heading this way," the Team Shadow peon said.
"What?! Find those fools and deal with them! We can't have any gremlins in our operations!" Miror B said.
"On it, sir!" The Team Shadow peon said. He goes off in the direction of Sora and Kairi, but he doesn't notice them, hiding in the shadows.
"I hope those little darlings made it this far, because I would like nothing more than to give those lovebirds a well-deserved spanking!" Miror B said.
Meanwhile, over to Team Shadow HQ, Golbez is receiving a transmission.
"Report," Golbez ordered. A Team Shadow peon is on screen.
"Golbez, sir! We just gotten word that Sora Ketchum and his friends has infilatrated the Relic Castle. They have already defeated most of us," the Team Shadow peon said.
"Have you recovered the Meteonite as instructed?" Golbez asked.
"The Metoernite is in Miror B's possession as we speak. What should we do with Sora Ketchum and the others?" The Team Shadow peon asked.
"Allow Miror B to deal with him. In the meantime, take what remains of our forces and deal with the rest," Golbez instructed.
"As you wish, sir," the Team Shadow peon said, breaking contact.
"Is what I heard right? Sora Ketchum is in Unova?" A voice spoke. It belonged to Kuja.
"It is true, Kuja. It would appear that Sora Ketchum has been in the Unova region for quite some time," Golbez said.
"This is an intersting turn of event. We should let Master Mateus know about this at once," Kuja said.
"Indeed," Golbez agreed. Golbez makes contact with Mateus in his office.
"What is it, Golbez?" Mateus asked.
"Master Mateus, I have gotten a report that Sora Ketchum is currently in the Unova region. Our forces in the Relic Castle has been defeated," Golbez reported.
"What of Miror B?" Mateus asked.
"His defeat has not yet been reported, but I shall instruct him to report to you as soon as I hear from him," Golbez said.
"See that you do," Mateus said, breaking contact. In his office he grinned evilly. "I knew it was only a matter of time before Sir Aaron's descendent will come along. Miror B will be the victim of his own ego when it comes to young Ketchum. I doubt very much he will be a match for him." He laughed evilly.
Back to the Relic Castle, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Golett waited for their chance to move as Miror B has five Ludicolo and a Sudowoodo out.
"Just who is this coot, and what is that?" Sora asked.
"I don't know about the guy, but I think that's what they looking for; the Meteonite," Kairi said.
"How are we going to get to it since those Ludicolo are out and about?" Meowth asked. "Also, there's that Sudowoodo to deal with, too."
"I think I have an idea," Sora said.
"What?" Meowth asked.
"Kairi and I will battle Miror B and his Pokémon. While we're doing that, you can sneak up to the Meteonite and get to it, just so they don't use it," Sora said.
"Why would we wan to take that thing?" Kairi asked.
"I think we should hand it over to Professor Juniper, let her look into it. We can worry about that after dealing with him," Sora said.
"Let's go," Kairi said. Golett stepped up. Sora looked right at Golett.
"You wanna battle, don't you?" Sora asked. Golett nodded. "You're going to be at a huge disadvantage, because those Ludicolo are both Grass and Water Types, and you're weak against both. You sure you want to do it?" Golett nodded. "You're braver than you think you are. Okay, I'll let you battle them."
"You sure about this, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"To be honest, no. But I think Golett wants to prove itself," Sora said. He turned to Meowth. "You know what to do."
"You can count on me, Sora," Meowth said.
With that said, Meowth waited for his move when Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Golett approached Miror B and his Pokémon.
"Miror B!" Sora called out. Miror B turned to see Sora for the first time.
"Yeah, woot! It's about time, darlings! I'm so frightfully tired of waiting for you, Miror B said."Oh, you kept me waiting for so long, I decided to work up a little perspiration! But, my, you have been busy being naughty and messing up our plans. It was oh-so-close for everything to turn out just right, just the way we hoped. But I can salvage our plan by beating you, little man. And so… There's time for one last frantic dance before the grand finale! Let the music play!" Miror B's Ludicolo and Sudowoodo started to get their groove on along with him as soon as the music started to play. "Ooh!" Sora looked right at Golett and nodded.
"You ready to go, Golett?" Sora asked.
"So, that Golett did belong to you! I knew it when I heard it was roaming with you! Ludicolo! Use Razor Leaf!" Miror B ordered. The Ludicolo unleashed Razor Leaf right at Golett.
"Dodge and use Shadow Punch!" Sora ordered. Golet manged to avoid Razor Leaf and lands a Shadow Punch on one of the Ludicolo.
"Okay! Water Gun!" Miror B ordered. One of the Ludicolo unleashed Water Gun, and it hits Golett. "Ice Beam!" Another Ludicolo unleashed Ice Beam and it hit it.
"Golett! use Mud-Slap!" Sora ordered. Golett hurls mud right at the Ludicolo that hit it with Ice Beam. "Mega Punch!" Golett lands a Mega Punch onto the Ludicolo that used Water Gun. "Shadow Punch!" Golett lands a Shadow Punch onto another Ludicolo.
"Sudowoodo! Use Feint Attack!" Miror B ordered. Sudowoodo vanishes and then reappears and lands a hit onto Golett. It gets back on its feet to keep going.
"Golett! Shadow Punch on Sudowoodo!" Sora ordred. Golett lands a Shadow Punch onto Sudowoodo. "Now, use Mud-Slap!" Golett hurls some mud onto it. Yamask was watching the battle closely, and it was at awe. Meowth waited for Miror B to be distracted long enough and went for the Meteonite. He swiped it right from under Miror B's nose. He started to make off with it.
"I got it! I got it!" Meowth said.
"Not yet you don't," the Team Shadow peon said. Meowth flinched when he saw him. "You're going to get it, talking Meowth."
"Uh-oh," Meowth said.
The Team Shadow peon is struck from behind by a ball of shadow. It belonged to Eevee as the rest of the group were catching up.
"Meowth, what is that you got there?" Riku asked.
"It's what those clowns are after," Meowth said.
"Where are Sora and Kairi?" Cilan asked.
"Keeping Miror B busy. Golett is up against an enitre team at once," Meowth said.
"What's Sora thinking sending one Golett against all six at once?" Iris asked.
"Golett is the one who said that it wants to go," Meowth said. "Also, that Golett is pretty tough."
"Meowth, you're going to come with me and Eevee outside, and let Professor Juniper know. The rest of you, go back up Sora and Kairi," Riku said.
"On it," Cilan said.
With that said, Cilan, Iris, Bianca, Shane, Axew, and Psyduck went to back up Sora and Kairi as Riku, Eevee, and Meowth all rushed out to meet with Professor Juniper. He makes contact with Professor Juniper. The researcher of Unova answers.
"Riku, thank goodness. I was about to make contact with you," Professor Juniper said.
"Professor, we managed to beat many of the weirdos. We even found out what they were going for," Riku said, showing Professor Juniper the Meteonite.
"A Meoteonite? That's what they were after?" Professor Juniper asked.
"Yeah. That still didn't give us any clue to who they are," Riku said.
"I'll meet you at the entrance," Professor Juniper said.
"Meowth, Eevee, and I are heading there now," Riku said. He breaks contact and started to head for the entrance.
"Ludicolo! Mega Drain!" Miror B ordered. One of the Ludicolo reached out and saps Golett's energy. The Ludicolo heals from its injuries.
"Shadow Punch!" Sora ordered. Golett unleashed Shadow Punch and struck the Ludicolo that used Mega Drain.
"Sudowoodo! Mimic!" Miror B ordered. Sudowoodo uses Mimic and learned how to use Shadow Punch. "Okay now, use Shadow Punch!" Sudowoodo unleashed Shadow Punch and lands a hit on the automation Pokémon. He laughed. "Use Shadow Punch again!" Sudowoodo unleashed Shadow Punch again.
"Golett! You use Shadow Punch to block!" Sora ordered. Golett used Shadow Punch to block Sudowoodo's Shadow Punch.
"You got lucky, kid, but it ain't gonna happen again! Sudowoodo! Rock Slide!" Miror B ordered. Sudowoodo unleashed Rock Slide right at the golem-like Pokémon.
"Dodge it, Golett!" Sora called out. Golett ran to avoid the rocks raining down. The rocks all struck Golett hard.
"Okay, Ludicolo! Use Razor Leaf!" Miror B ordered. The Ludicolo all unleashed Razor Leaf as something stops the leaves from reaching it.
"Huh?" Sora and Kairi asked.
"Pi?" Pikachu asked.
"Vee?" Angel asked.
The leaves all headed by to their owners and they struck the Ludicolo hard.
"That looked like Psychic," Kairi said. Sora checked his Pokédex and used it on Golett.
"That's weird," Sora siad.
"What?" Kairi asked.
"Golett can use Psychic, but it doesn't know Psychic," Sora said.
"Then, where did that Psychic come from?" Kairi asked.
Unknown to anyone, it was Yamask that actually did the deed. Golett stood back up on its feet. It can barely keep going.
"I don't know how that little Golett did it, but I know it did it! Get that Golett now!" Miror B ordered. Sudowoodo and the Ludicolo ran towards Golett to land a series of poundings on it.
"Mud-Slap!" Sora ordered. Golett hurls mud at Sudowoodo. "Now, use Shadow Punch!" Golett unleashed Shadow Punch onto the Ludicolo. "Now use Mega Punch!" Golett lands a Mega Punch onto one of the Ludicolo.
The rest of the group all made it to the party just in time.
"Okay, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu jumped and unleashed Thunderbolt, shocking the Ludicolo and Sudowoodo. They all fell to the ground, beaten. Miror B calls back his fallen Pokémon and gave Sora a scowl.
"How, how, how dare you! Don't you dare think you'll get away with your latest outrage! One of these days, I will take great pleasure in kicking your little ass with my elegant dance steps! Oh, and don't think you have seen the last of us, because there are guys that are just like me; or maybe a whole lot worse! So watch your back!" Miror B said, retreating. As he ran he remembered something he was neglecting. "Crap! The Meoteonite!" He turned and saw it gone. "What the?! It's gone!" He turned and glared at them. "So, that battle was only a trick to get me to drop my guard! You're not getting away with this!" He ran off again. Sora was about to go after him, but somehow he lost track of Miror B.
"Where did he go?" Sora asked.
"Let him go, Sora. He's not worth it," Kairi said.
Miror B got right out of the Relic Castle with a Team Shadow vehicle waiting for him. He boards inside it and he makes contact with Golbez.
"Golbez, we got a problem!" Miror B said.
"You have the Metoenite, do you?" Golbez asked.
"No. That Sora kid has gotten a hold of it while I wasn't looking! Those brats are going to pay through the nose!" Miror B said.
"You are to report to Master Mateus of your failure," Golbez said. He knew it was bad enough that he failed, but he feared it'll wreck his reputaion in Team Shadow.
Miror B sighed, "Fine." He breaks contact. He makes contact with Mateus. "Master Mateus, sir. We got a problem. That Sora Ketchum kid took the Meteonite and he foiled our plan. You could have told me that kid was in Unova, because it would have been a whole lost useful!"
"You shouldn't have expected to win the battle against him. Sora is a powerful Pokémon trainer. Not many could defeat him. But, it does not matter, because we still have the data we need. And we now know where he is thanks to you. Return to base, and await further instructions," Mateus ordered.
"Yes sir," Miror B said.
Mateus sat on his desk as he chuckled.
"The boy is just like his ancestor after all. He undoubtedly has come when there was trouble. And it's all thanks to Miror B's failure. I mustn't underestimate; I underestimated Sir Aaron, and that lead to my defeat," Mateus said.
Back to the Relic Castle, Sora, Kairi, Cilan, Iris, Shane, and the Pokémon all meet with Riku, Professor Juniper, and Officer Jenny outside.
"What have you learned from inside?" Professor Juniper asked.
"Not much. Just what they were after. Also, Miror B got away," Sora said.
"I will have to make contact to every police station all over the Unova region to keep an eye out for Miror B," Officer Jenny said.
"Anyway, Golett, that was a good battle you had," Sora said. Golett beamed. "We can have you healed up and maybe I'll talk to Officer Jenny in bringing you back home." Golett shook its head "No?"
"Lett, lett, lett, Golett, Gol, Gol, Golett, Golett," Golett said.
"Golett is sayig that it owes its courage to you, and it wants to keep proving itself by being your Pokémon," Meowth translated.
"You sure?" Sora asked. Golett nodded. Sora smiled. "If that's what you want, then welcome to the team." Sora took out a Pokéball as Golett pushes the button and flows inside. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Golett with him. He decides to send Pansear to Professor Oak's lab in exchange for Golett. "Welcome to the team, Golett." As they boarded the helicopter, they were unaware of Yamask entering the helicopter with them. They returned to the Pokémon Center with Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Naminé, and Azurill waiting for them.
"Sora, you're back!" Ventus said,
What happened?" Terra asked.
"We cleared the bad guys out of the Relic Castle," Sora said.
"There were also some Team Plasma guys there as well," Riku added.
"Team who?" Naminé asked.
"Team Plasma were there, too?" Aqua asked.
"It's true. I cleared them out," Cilan said.
"You think those guys were with Team Plasma?" Terra asked.
"I highly doubt it," Cilan said. "If they were with Team Plasma, they would have mentioned it. And the uniforms those other people were wearing didn't look like what Team Plasma would normally wear."
"Cilan's right. They seem really obessed with us," Sora said.
"Miror B did say that we'll be up against some people like him," Kairi said.
"This we don't need," Meowth said.
The group had their Pokémon healed up after a hard day of battling. They just couldn't figure out who they were and why they were so interested in Sora, Kairi, or Riku. They wondered who else they know has made thier list, whoever they are.
On the very next morning, Bianca has left to carry on with her own training for her Gym battle as Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill were taking off on their own way.
"Where are you heading?" Iris asked.
"Naminé and I are heading for Virbank City. We'll meet you there," Riku said.
"We just want to be there for you to win your second Contest Ribbon, Kairi," Naminé said.
"Okay. We'll head for Nacrene City for my second Gym Badge," Sora said.
With that said, Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill took off on their way to Virbank CIty as Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew took off for Nacrene City. They didn't know that the Yamask from the Relic Castle was following them. As they kept on going, Kairi has come across a Cottonee.
"Oh, how cute!" Kairi cooed. "I got to have her!" Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Patrat!" Patrat came on out to battle. "Patrat! Use Tackle!" The scout Pokémon lands a tackle onto the cotton puff Pokémon. "Now, use Super Fang!" Patrat lands a Super Fang onto Cottonee. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Cottonee flows inside the Pokéball and it wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box goes off asking her if she wants to keep Cottonee with her. She chose to send Cottonee to Professor Oak's lab.
"Good catch," Sora said. Kairi smiled.
"Thank you, Sora," Kairi said. She gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. Sora smiled as he hugged her.
Later, the group were near Nacrene City just by one day, so Sora exchaged Panpour for Oshawott since he found out that the Gym Leader uses Normal Types, so Scared Sword would be useful. To play it safe, he decided to stick with Scraggy to keep it safe. During the training Scraggy has learned how to use Focus Blast.
"That was good, Scraggy. Focus Blast will be a good move to use," Sora said.
"Scraggy, Scraggy!" Scraggy said
Since Nacrene City is closer than over, so how will Sora do in his next Gym battle? Well, just you wait and see until then.
