Episode 431: Sewaddle Burgh and the Pinwheel Forest
After earning his second Gym Badge from Lenora in her Gym, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Cilan, Iris, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth all made it to the Pinwheel Forest.
"Well, this is the Pinwheel Forest that Lenora has told us about," Sora said.
"Wow, it's huge," Iris said.
"Axew," Axew said.
"How come it's called the Pinwheel Forest?" Ventus asked.
"As long as we got straight on the path, we can find our way out no problem, but if we wonder off, we can end up wondering around in a natural maze," Cilan said.
"In other words, Ven, it'll be easy to get lost in there," Terra said.
"And it's a good reason to stay close to us," Aqua said.
"I'll stay close," Ventus said.
"There's no way we can get lost. I happen to be a froest expert," Iris said.
"That's good to know since we're going to need your expertise through this forest," Sora said.
"So, the question is, do we find our way out of here, or do we get lost in the maze?" Cilan asked.
"How about we avoid getting lost in the maze," Kairi suggested.
"I second that," Meowth said.
"I third that," Sora said.
"I fourth that," Ventus added.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee, Vee," Angel added.
"Okay, the only way to get to Castelia City is through the PinWheel Forest, so here we go," Sora said.
With that said, the group start to venture throught the Pinwheel Forest, hoping not to get lost.
Elsewhere in Team Shadow HQ, two of its members Kefka was playing with some toys as he laughed.
"This is fun! I'm having so much fun! And here is what will make it even more fun!" Kefka said, taking out a gun and shoots at some stuffed animals and fluffs starts to erupt as soon as the bullet comes out. He laughed some more. "They had the stuffing shot out of them!" He laughed again. Ultimecia watches in disgust.
"Ugh, why is that clown even one of us?" Ultimecia asked.
"Even though he has a mind like a child, he has proven to be a good alley," Sephiroth spoke.
"Only when he wants to be," Ultimecia said. "He finds all forms of pain amusing. Sometimes I question Master Mateus's wisdom," Ultimecia said.
"I have found it quite curious that he allowed Kefka to join in. I was even curious about him bringing in Gorigan since he walks on all fours like either an animal or a Pokémon; and I was curious about Miror B espcially with his failure at the hands of Sora Ketchum and his friends. We may not have the Metoenite in our hands, but there are other potential weapons we can use," Sephiroth said.
"Maybe that is true, but we could have used the Blue and Red Orbs on Groudon and Kyogre if he hadn't destroyed them. The Lustrous and Adamant Orbs are no use to us since Cyrus's poor excuse for a plan to destroy the world and remake it just because he's a crybaby who couldn't handle feelings like the rest of us. And we don't even know what Team Plasma is even planning," Ultimecia said.
"Even if we did know, Team Plasma's plan would be doomed to failure," Sephiroth stated. Sephitorh grinned. "I wonder what Mateus has in store next?"
Over to Matues, he is in his old clothing as man with white hair and dark blue skin with bright yellow eyes. He appears with great muscle mass shown by his exposed upper body, he wore a white cape, orange pants, an orange and blue sash wrapped around his waist with what appears to be a cat-shaped buckle at the top-center of it, and brown boots.
"You summoned me, Emperor Mateus?" The man asked.
"I did, Xande. We sat in this very room a few centuries ago. I summoned you here because you are the only one who knows my secret," Mateus said.
"Yes, emperor. I remember our very first conversation like it was yesterday. You granted me a gift to help me combat my fear of death by granting me immortality," Xande said.
"Yes. It was after you have suffered a defeat by the hands of Sir Aaron's blood descendant," Mateus said.
(Flashback, hundreds of years ago)
Mateus sat in front of Xande as they spoke for the first time.
"Who are you? Why have you saved me?" Xande asked.
"Would you know my name if I have spoken it to you, wizard?" Mateus asked.
"That depends on what your name is," Xande answered.
"I am Mateus. Formally, I was the emperor of the most feared empire in the world: Palamecia," Mateus said. Xande stood from his chair and he kneeled to him.
"Your imperial highness. I have thought you have perished," Xande said.
"The rumors of my death was greatly exaggerated, my friend. It has been quite some time since I have been defeated by Sir Aaron. You were led to believe that his power has destroyed me, but I was only weakened," Mateus said.
"It pleases me to finally to know the truth. And I feel honored to be in the prescence as one as powerful as you," Xande said. "May I ask why you have summoned me here?"
"Yes. I have summoned you here because I am in need of your service. We can both regain what we have both lost to the bloodline of Sir Aaron. We are both weakened from our confrontaions from them," Mateus said.
"Yes. The knight's triumph over me is unforgivable. I would want nothing more than to exact my revenge on them and then destroy them once and for all," Xande said.
"We have a common enemy. That is one of the reasons I have summoned you here. The other reason is that I can grant you something that no ordinary man can ever hope to gain," Mateus said. XAnde was skeptical.
"And that is?" Xande asked. Matues grinned.
"Immortality. Like you, I have feared death. During my time as emperor, I was growing old. I had to conquer time itself, so I would remain young, and rule my empire forever. I found the spell to make me forever young, and I could never grow old nor die," Mateus said.
"I think it is a generous offer, your majesty, but why offer me something so generous?" Xande asked.
"You said you would like nothing more than revenge. Sir Aaron's descendant has defeated you and rendered you weak and helpless, but not powerless. I manged to use my power to summon you here, and then, we will have our revenge when the time is right. And do, we will plunge this world into darkness. But for now, we shall hide in the shadows to bide our time. I will only grant you immortality if you swear your undying loyalty to me," Mateus said. Xande looked up to the fallen emperor.
"I swear my alligence you and you alone, my emperor," Xande vowed.
"You have made a wise decision," Mateus said.
(Flashback end)
"I am grateful to your generosity up to this day," Xande said.
"You and I founded Team Shadow, and began our quest. Team Rocket was a major threat to our plans at the time, so we had to hide in the shadows, but only temporarily," Mateus said.
"Yes. That was until Team Rocket's destruction, and the Brotherhood of Darkness to raise," Xande said.
"They simply believed that this world would be thiers to rule, like Giovanni has. You and I are more powerful than all of them put together. Even the Shadow Empire has made the mistake of targeting this world. And thanks to Sora and his friends, those obstacles has been cleared for us," Mateus said.
"I have been waiting, but I am curious to know. What is it that they seek?" Xande asked.
"They believe that they will conquer the world with their modern technology, and with an army of Pokémon, but we have so much more. More than their mortal minds can conceive," Mateus said. "But when the truth comes around, they shall be honored to make the world into the world of darkness I seek, like before." Xande grinned.
Back to the Pinwheel Forest, the group came across a Venipede. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Golett!" Sora called out. Golett came right out to battle. Venipede unleashed Poison Sting right at the golem-like Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Shadow Punch!" Sora ordered. Golett avoids Venipede's Poison Sting and unleashed Shadow Punch and it lands a punched onto Venipede. "Now, use Mud-Slap!" Golett hulrs a blob of mud at the centipede Pokémon, and blinds it. "Now, use Mega Punch!" Golett lands a Mega Punch onto Venipede. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Venipede flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Venipede with him. He chose to send Venipede over to Professor Oak's lab. "There." Sora smiled. "Good work, Golett. You take a rest." He calls back Golett.
"Now, let's go," Terra said.
With that said, the group were making their way as they all followed Iris through the Pinwheel Forest.
"This the forest here is so lush," Iris said.
"It will be just as long as we don't get lost," Meowth said.
Just them a Sewaddle came swinging down and gave Sora a kick, making him tumble off the path.
"Sora!" Kairi gasped, going oafter him. Angel went after Pikachu as well.
"Guys, stay on the path!" Aqua called out. The whole group went after them. Meowth sighed.
"So much for avoiding getting lost," Meowth said. Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt, but Sewaddle avoids it, and struck Sora instead.
"Watch the friendly fire, Pikachu!" Sora said. Sewaddle used Bug Bite on Pikachu's head.
"Is that a Sewaddle?" Ventus asked.
"It is. Sewaddle are popular among clothing designers because of the way they sew their own clothes from leaves," Cilan said.
"He's just as cute as a Caterpie," Kairi said.
"Pikachu! Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Sewaddle unleashed String Shot right at Sora, covering his whole body into silk. Pikachu came at Sora again, so he rolls even more off the path, making his friends chase after him.
"We're going even further off the path," Terra said.
"No choice but to go after him," Iris said.
"Agreed," Cilan said.
The group went after him. Sora kept on rolling in the ball of silk. When he came to a stop, Oikachu cuts him out with Iron Tail.
"Thanks, buddy," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Are you okay, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah. Wasn't expecting that to happen to us," Sora said.
"Now, we're lost," Aqua groaned.
"This forest is a natural maze. it's too dangerous," Cilan said.
"You're right we should get back on the path," Sora said.
The group ventured through the forest, but so far, they ended up getting more lost than before.
"That's really strange. We should have made it to the exit by now," Iris said.
"We've gone the wrong way, I know it," Aqua said.
"No, it's right," Iris defended.
"You sure about that?" Aqua asked.
"Of course. My sixth sense is never wrong," Iris said. "I just know."
"More non-scientific explanations," Cilan said.
"Well, I hope it'll get us out of here and soon," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Shh," Iris shushed everyone. She turned. "I just heard the forest speak."
"What?" Ventus asked.
"Listen," Iris instructed. Everyone all listened closely, but they heard nothing.
"I'm not hearing anything," Sora said.
"Perhaps the voice of the forest is just the wind blowing in the trees," Cilan said.
"Stop, smarty! I know the forest's voice when I hear it. This way," Iris said. The rest of the group all followed her.
"Things would have been a whole lot smoother than lotion if we stayed on the path. I never had this problem when I was with Team Rocket. Wait a sec, yeah I did," Meowth said.
"Meowth! Stay close!" Sora called out.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Meowth said, cathing up.
Iris has led the group to some gray cliffs.
"Oopsie-doopsie," Iris said.
"Iris, are you sure the voice of the forest told you to come here?" Aqua asked.
"Of course I'm sure. The voice told me to lead you all here, because it wanted to show us its magnificent scenery," Iris said.
"Whatever you say, Iris," Terra said.
"Looks like what they say about this true is true. We got off the path for one second, and we're lost," Cilan said.
"The best thing to do in situations like this is to get to higher ground," Iris said.
"Huh? Higher ground?" Kairi asked.
"That's right. That way, we can see where we are. Over there," Iris said, pointing to her left. Everyone all looked and they saw the tallest tree in the forest.
"She's right. We can see far from the top of that tree," Cilan said.
The group ventured through the forest right towards the tree. They eventually reached the tree and they were amazed by the size of the tree.
"Look at the size of this tree," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"This is the biggest tree I have ever seen in my life," Ventus said.
"I'll go check it out," Iris said, climbing right up the tree. Sora, Ventus, and Pikachu all climbed right up with her.
"We're right behind you," Ventus said.
"Careful, Ven," Sora said. Sora, Ventus, Iris, and Pikachu cliimbed higer to the tree. They looked down at the forest. "I'm not seeing a path down there. How about you, Ven?"
"No. How about you, Iris?" Ventus asked.
"Not much I can see. Maybe we should climb even higher," Iris said.
"Good idea," Sora said. They were about to do that when they saw something that is dark green, haning from one of the branches. "What the?"
"Guys, what's going on up there?" Terra asked.
"There's something weird up here!" Ventus asked.
"Something weird?" Cilan asked.
"How weird?" Terra asked.
The odd thing is revealed to be a tall, thin young man, with bright green eyes and chin length, thick honey brown, wavy hair. He wore a cider green V neck shirt, with long sleeves, as well as a white undershirt. He also wore a red scarf around his neck, a brown belt with a butterfly-design buckle, red pants with dark green and black vertical stripes, dark socks and flat pointy shoes matching his pants' color. He was also wearing a dark green cape. This surprises Sora, Ventus, Iris, and Pikachu.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"Shh," the man responded. This confuses them. "You don't want to scare the forest Pokémon, do you?" The young man asked. Sora, Ventus, Iris, and Pikachu were confused. They all climbed down for the whole group to talk. "What were you doing up there?"
"I surround myself with nature by living like a forest Pokémon, the young man answered.
"But why do you do that?" Iris asked. He stood up and he was doing some poses.
"If I tell you, will you understand? It's my pure heart, that's what it is," the young man said.
"Huh? Pure heart?" Cilan asked.
"That's a good reason, I guess," Meowth said.
"I draw, I design; picutres, clothes. Honestly, I am super-talented artist," the young man said, looking down at the ground with his eyes closed. "A true talented genius who is stuck in a slum."
"So, even geniuses goes through slums?" Iris asked.
"Shh," Cilan shushed. The young man turned to the group.
"Of course," the young man replied. "I figured that I might get some real inspiration if I lived out here among the forest Pokémon," the young man said.
"And that's why you've got a pure heart?" Ventus asked.
"Pika, Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Ee?" Angel asked.
"That's it! A pure heart makes for profound art!" The young man said, doing a pose.
"Okay..." The group all said.
"I have talked enought baout me. What are you doing in a place like this?" The young man asked.
"We strayed off the path and got lost," Cilan answered.
"I see. Have no fear, I can guide you here. And since you are here, how about you enjoy living in the forest for a while?" The young man asked.
"The thing is, we were on our way to Castelia City for a Gym battle. It's also on the way to Virbank CIty for a Pokémon Contest," Sora said.
"It's useless to go there now," the young man said.
"How come?" Sora asked.
"It's so happens that the Castelia City Gym Leader, Burgh, is me," the young man admitted. Cilan was surprised by the claim.
"Wait a minute! You mean to tell us that you're Burgh, the world famous Bug Type Pokémon trainer?" Cilan asked.
"I am not just any Bug Type trainer, I'm an artistic trainer!" Burgh said.
"Anyway, my name's Sora. And this is my girlfriend Kairi, and my cousin Ventus," Sora introduced.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Nice to meet you. This is my Eevee Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Hi there," Ventus said.
"I'm Terra."
"My name'a Aqua."
"My name's Iris."
"And I'm Cilan, a Pokémon Connoisseur," Cilan finished. Burgh looked right at Sora and Kairi.
"A loving couple traveling around together expanding to the horizons, spreading love everywhere they go!" Burgh took out a pencil and a pad of paper to work on his art. He tried to think, but he groaned.
"Something wrong?" Sora asked.
"My inspiration came and went. And to think I almost had it, safely in the palm of my artistic hand," Burgh said.
"How do you get your artistic inspiration by living out here like a forest Pokémon?" Kairi asked.
"I guess you can say it depends on the person," Burgh answered. "When you live forest, surrounded by nature in its most primitive form; your dull and long-forgotten senses come alive. You then realize how beautiful nature is; and you become one with the forest. All things become new and freesh." The group were awestruck.
"I think I know what you mean," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
The Sewaddle from before comes swinging down and gave Sora a kick, knocking him down.
"Ouch," Sora said. He looked right at the sewing Pokémon. "Oh, it's you again."
"You know it?" Burgh asked.
"We met him when we were trying to make our way through the woods. We ended up off the path when Sewaddle picked a fight with us," Kairi said. Sewaddle jumped on Sora's head and then right on Burgh's shoulder. Sewaddle starts to eat the leaves
"Sewaddle is a bit stubborn, but it's actually a sweet Pokémon," Burgh said.
"Is that Sewaddle yours?" Ventus asked.
"No, no, no. This Sewaddle is a wild Pokémon. It's just one of the discoveries I made while spending time here in the forest," Burgh said.
"Wow, living in the forest with forest Pokémon must be lots of fun," Ventus said.
"It's important for a trainer to get to know a Pokémon before they attempt to catch it. Would you all like to join me?" Burgh offered.
"There's still time before my Contest, so why not?" Kairi asked.
"Then we can set up camp right here. I'll set up for supper time," Cilan said. It didn't take long for him to get started with the meal.
"Beofre you even think of catching Sewaddle, you should introduce yourself," Burgh said.
"Introduce myself to Sewaddle?" Sora asked.
"Right. I'll demonstrate," Burgh said. He gets down to Sewaddle's level. He presses his forehead to Sewaddle's feelers. "That way, they're able to use the sensory nobs on their heads to detemine things and people." He stands back up. And by pressing your foreheads, you're saying hi." Piakchu and Angel went up to Sewaddle and they took turns with the forehead greeting.
"That's great, Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"You too, Angel," Kairi said.
"Axew!' Axew said.
"You wanna say hi, too?" Iris asked. Axew jumped out of her hair and gave the forehead greeting to the sewing Pokémon.
"Great, it's my turn," Iris said. She pressed her forehead to Sewaddle's. "Sewaddle, it's very nice to meet you." Kairi bent down and greeted Sewaddle with her forehead. Ventus, Terra and Aqua each did it as well. It was now Sora's turn as he bent down. Sewaddle tackled him in the forehead.
"Ouch," Sora said. Iris giggled.
"For some reason, Sewaddle likes to tackle into you," Iris said.
"Don't take it personal. A Tackle is kinda like a hello," Burgh said.
"Better than a being bitten on the noggin by a Turtwig," Sora said. Sewaddle turns around and crawks off. "Hey, where are you going?" They followed Sewaddle to a bush. Sewaddle sniffed some leaves.
"What's Sewaddle doing?" Ventus asked.
"Sewaddle looks like he's just standing there, but he must be doing something," Burgh said.
"Like listening to the forest," Iris guessed.
"It could be. You might be right," Burgh said.
"I am! Yippee!" Iris cheered.
"Sewaddle is eating those leaves," Sora said. Burgh and Iris looked at the bug Pokémon eating the leaves.
"I guess Sewaddle was trying to decide which leaf to eat first," Burgh said. Iris did an anime fall. Sewaddle starts to crawl off.
"Sewaddle is making a move again," Aqua said.
"I wonder where he's going this time," Iris said. They followSewaddle to a field and stopped. Sewaddle yamed and curled up into a nap.
"Nothing like a nap after eating a big meal," Burgh said.
"So, it's nap time, right?" Sora asked.
"Exactly," Burgh said. Everyone all lay on the filed, looking up in the sky.
"Does this feel nice?" Sora asked.
"It feels like heaven," Kairi said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"I haven't done this in a while," Iris said.
"Xew," Axew added.
"How does looking up in the ksy make you feel?" Burgh asked.
"Looking up in the beautiful blue sky, covered with white clouds," Aqua said.
"It's a great day," Terra said.
"It sure is," Sora agreed.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"And not only that. Doesn't the sky look amazingly huge?" Burgh asked.
"Since you brought that up, it really does," Iris said.
"Well, beyond that blue sky is outer space. Infinitely huge," Burgh said.
"Whoa," Sora and Ventus said. Sewaddle woke up with a yawn.
"He's awake," Kairi said.
"And on the move again," Burgh said. THey foolw Sewaddle to a bush and he started to eat the fruit growing.
"All Sewaddle did was eat and sleep," Iris said.
"That's the same for baby people. It's the natural life cycle of a Sewaddle," Burgh said. Rustling is heard as a Woobat came flying out.
"Uh-oh, a Woobat," Aqua said.
"And she looks angry," Kairi said. Woobat starts up with Double Team. Sewaddle uses String Shot. The string goes through them, but another Woobat came out from the other side.
"There's two of them!" Terra exclaimed. THe Woobat both used Air Cutter. Sora jumps and took the hit for him. Kairi was peeved.
"How dare you do that to my boyfriend, Woobat! Angel! Use Swift on the first Woobat!" Kairi ordered. Anel unleashed Swift and lands a hit on the first Woobat, as Sewaddle unleashed Razor Leaf and struck the second one. The second Woobat flew off to retreat as the first Woobat attacks with Air Cutter. "Dodge with Quick Attack!" Angel ran to land a hit onto the second Woobat. She was down, so Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Woobat flows iside and wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box goes off asking her if she wants to keep Woobat with her. She chose to keep Woobat in exchange for Tranquil. "Now, I have my own Woobat." Kairi went up to her boyfriend with concern. "Are you okay, Sora?"
"I'm fine, Kairi," Sora said. Sewaddle presented an apple for Sora to have. "Is that for me?" Sewaddle pretended not to care. Sora accepts it. "Thanks though." He accpets it.
The sun sets as Cilan has gotten the meal done in time.
"Looking good, Cilan," Terra said.
"Thank you, Terra. I have made a pasta noodle soup. Enjoy it to your heart's content," Cilan urged. And that's what everyone did.
"That was delicious," Aqua said.
"Thank you, Aqua," CIlan said, presnting the Castelia City Gym Leader a bowl of fruit salad. "And here is a bowl of fruit salad just for you." Burgh was mighty impressed.
"Say, how did you know that dish was my favorite?" Burgh asked.
"I am a Pokémon Connoisseur," Cilan said.
"So, where's Sewaddle?" Iris asked.
"Up there, eating," Sora said, pointing upwards. Sewaddle was eating soe fruit on a leaf. Night same as the group were sleeping up in the tree.
"What a magnificent view," Cilan said.
"Never slept in a tree before," Ventus said.
"I slept in a hammock on a tree before," Sora said.
"A delicious touch," Cilan said.
"So how much have you discovered since you started your journey, Sora?" Burgh asked.
"What do you mean?" Sora asked.
"Ever since I was a young boy, I have been fascinated by Bug Type Pokémon. So fascinated, I ended up drawing and battling with them more times than I can remember," Burgh said. Sora smiled.
"More things than I could imagine. And I know how that feels. The first Pokémon that I have ever caught was a Bug Type. It was a Caterpie I caught in the Virdian Forest. It was just me, Kairi, and Pikachu back then," Sora said.
"And that Caterpie evolved all the way into a Butterfree," Ventus pointed out. Sora chuckled.
"That's right, Ven," Sora said.
"I remember how cute he was back then," Kairi said.
"Yeah. Caterpie and I got pretty close after a short time of getting know each other," Sora said. "The same with you and me, Kairi." Sora smiled and she smiled back. Sewaddle comes down to Sora and nuzzles him. Sora took him in his arms. "Come to think of it, you kinda remind me of Caterpie back then." He wondered how his Butterfree was doing since he's at Professor Oak's lab. Nowadays, he's spending loads of time with his mate.
It seems Sewaddle has taken a liking to you, Sora," Burgh said.
"I think so too," Kairi said. "I would like to hold you in my arms, if you don't mind." Sewaddle turned to Sora and he nods. Sewaddle crawls into Kairi's arms and she held him. "Oh, you're really cute." Burgh looked right at Kairi with a smile. He imagined Kairi holding Sewaddle like a mother holding her baby in her arms. Sora thought the same way. They laid down with Sewaddle bewteen them as Pikachu and Angel did the same thing. Meowth followed up as did the rest.
"A sweet inspiration! Thanks to Sora and Kairi, I finally have an idea for my next project," Burgh said.
On the enxt morning, Burgh decided to show the group on the way out of the Pinwheel Forest.
"We made it out," Meowth said.
"Thanks a lot," Aqua said.
"Think nothing of it, friends. I will be working on my art piece. And we can have our Gym battle if you like, Sora," Burgh said.
"Actually, I was thinking of having it after Kairi has her Contest in Virbank City," Sora said. Kairi smiled at how considerate her boyfriend was being.
"Thank you, Sora," Kairi said.
"It's good that you are putting her needs before your own. Also, I thought it would interest you to know that Virbank CIty also has a Gym there, so the Gym Leader there is named Roxie," Burgh said.
"Roxie?" Sora asked.
"Yes. She uses Poison Type Pokémon," Burgh said.
"That's good to know, Burgh. Thanks," Sora said.
"You are welcome, Sora. And there is one more thing," Burgh pointed out. Before Sora could ask what he meant, he suddenly remembered Sewaddle.
"That's right. You wanna come with us, Sewaddle?" Sora asked. Sewaddle nodded. He smiled as he took out a Pokéball. "Then you're coming right in the team!" He tossed it up as Sewaddle jumped up and taps the button on the Pokéball. He flows inside and it wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Sewaddle with him. He chose to keep Sewaddle in exchange for Dwebble. He lets Sewaddle out with a smile. "Welcome to the team, Sewaddle."
"Sewaddle is a fine addition to your team, Sora," Burgh said. "With proper training, Your new Sewaddle will be a fine Leavanny. I only ask that you take good care of Sewaddle," Burgh said.
"I promise," Sora vowed.
"And now, I'm off," Burgh said, taking off. He stopped to turn around. "Best of luck for your contest, Kairi. And the same for you in your battle against Roxie."
"Thanks," Sora and Kairi both said.
Now that Sora has a new Sewaddle, things will be quite fashionable with Sewaddle's sewing abilities. And Sora's Gym Battle in Castelia City has been postponed for the sake of Kairi, so we'll wish these two the best of luck.
