Episode 437: Sora and Iris vs the Dragon Buster
A few days had passed since dealing with Team Plasma again, they were making their way through the forest when it strtaed to rain without warning.
"Crap! It's raining!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"We're going have to find someplace out of the rain!" Riku said.
"Agreed! Somewhere that's war and dry!" Cilan said. The group all ran through the forest, finding somewhere nice and dry to stay until it stopped raining. They came across an old mansion in the middle of forest. It reminded Sora and Kairi of the mansion they stayed in that one night when they were being played with by a mischievous and lonely Haunter.
"Wow! What a mansion!" Ventus said.
"It's better to be in here than out there in that weather," Aqua said.
"You're right, Aqua. I'm taking my chances in a haunted house rather than catching a cold," Iris said.
"I'm not certain that this house is haunted. It's unscientific to say so," Cilan said.
"This kind of house has Ghost Type Pokémon lurking around here. That's something Kairi and I learn the hard way," Sora said.
"You mean you had experince in this before?" Iris asked.
"Yeah. We were victims of pranks from a Haunter, until Sora caught him," Kairi said.
"You mean that was the same Haunter you used in the battle against Sally?" Ventus asked.
"That's him," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Unaware, they were being spied on by a small group of Litwick. The larger Litwick is leading the other Litwick. They started to make their move towards the group. Eevee's ears perked up.
"Eevee!" Eevee said.
"What's wrong, Eevee? What do you hear?" Riku asked. He got his answer when he saw the Litwick. "Guys! We got trouble!" The group all turend to look at him.
"Those are Litwick," Cilan said.
"Wait a minute! Don't Litwick drain the life energy of living things?" Terra asked. Sora and his friends all winced.
"You're right, Terra, they do!" Riku said. He took out his Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Lampent!" Sora and Kairi did the same thing.
"Go! Oshawott!" Sora called out.
"Go! Purrloin!" Kairi called out.
Oshawott and Purrloin both came on out to join Lampent.
"Oshawott! Razor Shell! Sora ordered.
"Purrloin! Night Slash!" Kairi ordered.
"Lampent! Use Night Shade!" Riku ordered.
Oshawott came at the Litwick with Razor Shell as Purrloin slashes at them. Lampent unleashed Night Shade. They all struck the Litwick. All of the Litwick had retreated except for the leader. The Litwick has unleashed Ember in blue a purple flame.
"Block it, Oshawott!" Sora called out. Oshawott blocked with his scalchop. "Use Water Gun!" Oshawott fires Water Gun right at the big Litwick. It gets struck hard. "Now, use Razor Shell!" Oshawott swipes at the candle Pokémon with Razor Shell. "One more Water Gun!" Oshawott fires Water Gun at the Litwick. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it at the Litwick. Litwick flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Litwick with him. He chose to send Litwick over to Professor Oak's lab. Hopefully those Litwick will stay away."
"After what we did, they would have to think twice before the mess with us," Riku said.
The group stayed in the mansion for the night. On the next morning, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and Axew woke up feeling refreshed form their sleep, and stepped out in the morning light.
Not too far, an Emolga is up in a tree, and spotted a gang of Patrat climbing up an apple tree, shaking down some apples. Once they had enough apples, the Patrat climbed down the tree and they were about to dig in when the Emolga flew right by them.
"Oh, cruel fate!" - Emolga subtitle. The Parat went up to the sky squirrel Pokémon.
"Is something wrong?" - Patrat 1 subtitle.
"Nothing's wrong since you're here." - Emolga subtitle. She uses Attract on the first Parat, mesmerizing the first Patrat.
"Here, take mine." - Patrat 1 subtitle.
"Thank you!" - Emolga subtitle. Emolga uses Attract on the other two Partrat, making them hand over all their apples to her. Emolga happily accepts them and takes off. It ddn't take long until Atrract wore off and they start fighting each other.
A little further, Sora, Kairi Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and Axew were walking through the forest when a familiar voice yells out in the distant.
"Look out!" A familiar spoke shouted. It turns out to be Bianca. "Look out, look out, look out, look out, look out, look out!" Bianca shouted, bumping into Sora again. He lands right on his face. Bianca looked right at Sora. "Aah! Sora! I'm so sorry! You're not hurt, are you?"
"I'm fine. I'm fine," Sora said, standing back up on his feet. "Either she's cursed, or I'm carrying a magnet that attracts her my way."
"Again, I'm so sorry," Bianca said.
"What brings you here, Bianca?" Kairi asked.
"I'm just doing some training for my Gym battle when I started running out of control and rammed right into you. What about the rest of you?" Bianca asked.
"We were heading for Nimbasa City for a Gym battle when we had a few run-ins," Sora said, standing up. "Anyway, how much Gym Badges did you win?"
"I just heppen to win two Badges," Bianca said. "How many did you win, Sora?"
"Sora won four," Ventus said. Bianca was shocked when Ventus say that.
"What?! You won four Badges already?" Bianca asked.
"Yeah," Sora said, showing Bianca his Gym Badges.
"Oh my goodness! The Trio Badge, the Basic Badge, the Toxic Badge, and the Insect Badge! You have to be really good if you won four already!" Bianca said.
"Thanks a lot," Sora said.
"I was wondering if you would like to have a battle against me?" Bianca challenged.
"Sure. I'm happy to help you out," Sora said. "How do you wanna do it?"
"I was thinking of two-on-two," Bianca said.
"Okay," Sora said. He and Bianca took out a Pokéball each as they got ready for battle. "Go right in, Krokorok!" Krokorok came out with his arms crossed.
"Go! Pignite!" Bianca called out. Pignite came on out to battle. "If I remember right, Krokorok is a Dark Type, so it's weak against Fighting Types! I have the advantage!"
"True, but you know that Krokorok is a Ground Type, so it's fifty-fifty," Sora said. "You have the first move, Bianca."
"Thank you, Sora. Pignite! Use Heat Crash!" Bianca ordered. Pignite jumps into the air and becomes surrounded by a sphere of yellow-orange flames. Pignite then shoots at the desert croc.
"Dig!" Sora ordered. Krokorok dug through the ground to avoid Pignite's Heat Crash.
"That's no fair, dodging with Dig!" Bianca exclaimed. Krokorok came right out and lands a hit onto Pignite.
"Now, use Stone Edge!" Sora ordered. Krokorok hurls Stone Edge right at the fire pig Pokémon. "You know, you could have told Pignite to dodge!" Sora pointed out.
"Oh? Right! Bianca said.
"Korokorok! Stone Edge again!" Sora ordered. Krokorok hurls Stone Edge right at Pignite again.
"Dodge it, Pignite! Bianca ordered. Pignite avoids Krokorok's Stone Edge. "Hey, that was a great dodge!"
"That was great, Pignite!" Sora agreed. "Now, show me what other move your Pignite know!"
"Right! Pignite! Use Arm Thrust!" Bianca ordered. Pignite came right at Arm Thrust right at the desert croc Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Bite!" Sora ordered. Krokorok dodges and bites Pignite's arm. Krokorok with Shadow Claw. Pignite was struck down.
"That was Shadow Claw," Ventus said.
"Pignite! Arm Thrust!" Bianca ordered.
"Krokorok! Shadow Claw!" Sora ordered. The two Pokémon came right each other. They struck each other and resulted in a double knock out. Sora and Bianca call their Pokémon back. "You're even better than you think you are, Bianca."
"Thank you, Sora," Bianca said. She took out another Pokéball and threw it. Go! Minncino!" Minncino came on out to battle. Sora looked right at Pikachu.
"You're up, Pikachu," Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said, entering the battle.
"Oh, Pikachu is such a little cutie! Cute or not, Pikachu is going down!" Bianca said.
"You wanna make the first move again, Bianca, or should I?" Sora asked.
"I'll make the first move! Minncino! Use Double Slap!" Bianca ordered. Minncino came at Pikachu with Double Slap.
"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodges and swings his tail right at the chinchilla Pokémon. Minncino has gotten hit.
"Use Hyper Voice!" Bianca ordered. Both of Minccino's ears roll up, first one then the other. It then takes in a deep breath and shouts loudly. As it shouts, the inside of its mouth glows white and a beam of wind with turquoise rings inside them come out from Minccino's mouth and heads right at Pikachu. The mouse Pokémon covers his ears. "Now, use Pound!" Minncino came at Pikachu with Pound.
"Dodge and use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dashed right at Minncino. "Now, use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu sends out a Thunderbolt right at Minncino. Minncino had been taken down. Bianca calls back her Minncino.
"Oh my poor Minncino. Are you okay?" Bianca asked.
"Cinno," Minncino said weakly.
"You battled enough, Minncino. Get some rest," Bianca said, calling back the chinchilla Pokémon. Sora went up to her.
"Hey Bianca," Sora said. Bianca looked right up to him. "You did great." Bianca didn't feel bad about losing to Sora anymore.
"Thank you, Sora. I mean it," Bianca said. "You really think I'm did great?"
"Sure I do. Those attacks you just used and the way you executed them is proof that you're learning," Sora said.
"He's right," Riku spoke up. "The way you battled is how much you learned in a short time." Bianca smiled.
"Thank you both," Bianca said.
"Say how about we get lunch underway?" Ventus suggested.
"Not a bad idea, Ven. I could use something tasty," Meowth said.
Kairi and Cilan were making some lunch for the group as the Emolga from before was up in the tree. The Pokémon were eating some apples Iris and her Axew has picked out for them. Emolga eyed the apples and decided to have them all for herself. The sky squirrel Pokémon came gliding down.
"Emolga!" Emolga said, cathing the attention of the other Pokémon. They all looked right at her.
"Hey, you okay?" - Krokorok subtitle.
"Nothing's wrong as long as you're here." -Emolga subtitle. Emolga used her Attract on Krokorok, Sora's Axew, Tepig, and Oshawott. They gave her all of their apples. Emolga happily takes them as Meowth saw them.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Meowth asked. Emolga uses Attract on the scratch cat Pokémon, making him fall for Emolga. "Whoa! What a peach!" Pikachu, Angel, and Snivy saw what was going on as did Riku's Pokémon.
"Eevee!" Eevee called out.
"What's up?" Riku asked. The rest of the group all notced.
"Hey, it's an Emolga!" Kairi said. Binaca cooed and went to cuddle the flying squirrel Pokémon.
"I just wanna cuddle you forever and ever!" Bianca said. Emolga broke out of Bianca's arms. Angel stepped in.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fires Swift right at Emolga, hitting her. "Now, use Headbutt!" Angel ran towards Emolga and lands a Headbutt onto her. Emolga forms a ball of electricity and hurls it right at Angel.
"That's Electro Ball!" Aqua said.
"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Kairi ordered. Angel swings her tail right at Emolga, sending her down. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Emolga flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box goes off asking her if she wants to keep Emolga with her. She chose to send Emolga over to Professor Oak's lab.
"Good catch," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora," Kairi said.
With Emolga captured the effects of Attract wore off. Meowth was looking around.
"Did something happen while I was asleep?" Meowth asked.
"Not too much, Meowth," Ventus said.
The group all started to proceed with their lunch without any interuptions. After the meal had concluded, Bianca had started to head for Castelia City to challenge Burgh into a battle.
A couple of days later, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and Axew continued to heard for Nimbasa City when they were approached by a girl with pink hair and teal eyes. Georgia wore a long dark-teal dress, underneath a teal blouse with yellow buttons. She also wore dark teal socks, teal boots with black heels, as well as a yellow cap and gloves. She also has a small black collar around her neck.
"Hey, you're Iris from the Village of Dragons, right?" The girl asked. "I've been looking for you. The name's Georgia, and I'm a Dragon Buster."
"Dragon Buster?" Ventus asked.
"What does that mean?" Aqua asked.
"I'll be glad to answer, blue. My thing is to defeat Dragon Type Pokémon; espcially if they came from the Village of Dragons," Georgia said.
"Why are you obsessed with Dragon Type Pokémon, Georgia?" Cilan asked.
"A long time ago, my Pokémon and I were beaten by a trainer from the Village of Dragons," Georgia said.
"And that makes you a Dragon Buster?" Sora asked.
"What's it to you, spike?" Georgia asked. Iris gave a look that says that she sin't amued.
"Wow, what a kid," Iris said.
"So what I'm just a kid?! Go right ahead. Run away if you're scared," Georgia dared Iris. Iris growled.
"Look, if you wann battle me, then I accept your challenge!" Iris stated. They both glared right at each other. Iris and Georgia stood in position to battle. Georgia took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Beartic! Let's go!" Georgia called out. Beartic let out a loud roar upon entry.
"A Beartic," Kairi said.
"So, she sent out an Ice Type. A good choice to make when going up against a Dragon Type," Terra said. Iris and Axew both shivered.
"I do ice all taht well. But, let's do it anyway!" Iris said.
"Axew!" Axew said, getting into battle. Axew flinched when Beartic has let out a cold breath.
"Don't worry, Axew, I'm right here with you!" Iris said. Axew took his position.
Georgia wasn't impressed. Beaartic just yawned.
"You could have used a Pokémon with more oomph! What kind of Dragon Buster will I be if I dont beat a humongous Dragon Type Pokémon?" Georgia asked.
"Save the attitude for after the battle! Axew! Use Scratch!" Iris ordered. Axew jumped to deliever a Scratch.
"Okay, Beartic! Use Slash!" Georgia ordered. Beartic swings its claw right at the tusk Pokémon. Axew fell right on his back. "Now, Icicle Crash!" Beartic unleashed icicle Crash, and it struck Axew hard.
"Axew, are you okay?" Iris asked. Axew got back up on his feet.
"Alright, Beartic! Use Ice Beam!" Georgia ordered. Beartic fires Ice Beam right at Axew.
"Dragon Rage!" Iris ordered. Axew fires Dragon Rage right at Beartic's Ice Beam, but it was overpowered, and he is struck, earning a knock out. "Axew, no!" Iris ran tup to him. "Axew, are you okay?"
"That was quick and easy. What a yawner! Now bring out your next Dragon Type. COme on!" Georgia said.
"You asked for it!" Iris said, takign out Druddigon's Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Druddigon!" Her Druddigon came on out to battle. Druddigon was in the same posioton and yawned. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all hung their heads.
"Should have known this would happen," Sora said.
"Is this some kind of joke? If it then it's real lame," Georgia said.
"Keep your nose out of my business," Iris said. Georgia rolled her eyes.
"So lame. Nothing's lamer than a weak Druddigon. That struck a nerve for her Druddigon as he stood on his feet. The cave Pokémon gave an angry look on its face.
"Uh-oh, it looks like Druddigon is mad," Meowth said.
"Druddigon! Use-" Iris was about to ordere when Druddigon went charging towards Beartic with Metal Claw. "Okay, just ignore what I'm telling you." Druddigon ran towards Beartic.
"Use Icicle Crash!" Georgia ordered. Beartic unleashed Icicle Crash right at Druddigon. Druddigon slashes the icicles coming right at the cave Pokémon.
"You're doing great, Druddigon!" Iris said.
"Now, use Ice Beam!" Georgia ordered. Beartic fires Ice Beam right at Druddigon, but he uses Dig to avoid Ice Beam. Druddigon came right out and lands a hit onto Beartic. Druddigon started to come at Beartic with Dragon Claw. "Use Rock Smash!" Beartic lands a hit with Rock Smash. Druddigon was hit bad. Iris ran rup to Druddigon. Druddigon turned his back on Iris. Beartic was confused. "What's the matter? You give up?"
"I have no choice but to give up," Iris said.
"Oh, great, after all that tracking wasted. Face it, you're weak. A Dragon Type that just does whatever it wants, is not worth the effort. So do me a favor and try to be a tad stronger the next time I see you," Georgia said, taking off.
"You okay?" Sora asked.
"Her demeanor is peppered by attitude," Cilan said.
"I'm fine. It's Druddigon I'm worried about. It's hard to believe that we got beaten by the same move," Iris said.
"Same move?" Kairi asked.
"Rock Smash," Iris said.
"Did something happen that made Druddigon like this?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, how come Druddigon doesn't listen to you?" Ventus asked. Iris sighed.
"I knew it was going to come out sooner or later. So, I might as well tell you. I was still living in the Village of Dragons when I first met Druddigon. At first, it was me and my Deino, along with our other friends, the forest Pokémon. One day, a Druddigon came around and scared off some of my friends, and it was a Druddigon; my Druddigon," Iris explained.
"You mean, that's how you met?" Riku asked.
"Right. I wasn't going to put up with Druddigon's attitude, so I picked a fight with him," Iris said. The rest of the group were surprised when they heard her say that.
"You fought with a Pokémon?" Cilan asked.
"I did. But I always gotten beaten by Druddigon when I tried. It took me ten tries in ten days. On the tenth day, I managed to finally beat Druddigon by kicking him in the gut. Druddigon gave off a good wheeze when I did that. WhenI went up to Druddigon, he just laughed it off, and somehow, I managed to win him over. After a while, Druddigon and I bonded, so he apologized to the other Pokémon for scaring them. Not long after that, Druddigon and I battled and we were on a winning streak. So we both entered the Village of Dragons Battle Competition. We trained as hard as we could, high in the mountains. It was on the competitions opening day, I was up against another Druddigon, and I won. And that was when we met Dragon Master Drayden. He was so impressed by the way I battled, I ended up challenging him into a battle; he accepted my challenge. Drayden has sent out a Haxorus against e. Druddigon couldn't land a good hit, but I ended up losing when Drayden's Haxorus used Rock Smash. After that, Druddigon has been acting real disntant towards me and ignored everything I said," Iris explained.
Sora and Cilan knew that might have been the reason why Druddigon was acting so distant with her.
"I can't believe that happened," Sora said.
"I couldn't either. Ever since I left to my home town, I tried to cheer Druddigon up, but nothing I did would take," Iris said.
"Maybe it's not about losing. It's clear that if Druddigon is angered, he'll battle, so it's something is. Perhaps it has soemthing to do with you, Iris," Cilan said. Iris glared right at the Pokémon Connisseur.
"What do you mean?!" Iris exclaimed, angrily.
"Think back with your battle with Haxorus. Maybe he didn't like your strategy," Cilan said. Iris did think back and saw how scared Druddigon was when battling Haxorus.
"My startegy?" Iris asked.
"I think he's right, because you might have misread Druddigon. Druddigon was feeling a certain way and you just missed it. You should give it a little thought," Riku said.
"Vee," Eevee said.
Iris was letting Riku's words sink in as she thought long and hard about what he just said to her.
"Druddigon's feelings?" Iris asked. That night, Druddigon was laying beside her. "Let's lay here under the stars just like the old days. You do remember that we used to train hard in the mountains, adn then fall right to sleep after that. But I guess we never worked on any long range moves, did we? Maybe if we had, we would have battled in a different way. Maybe..." Iris thought back to the battle with Drayden. "Maybe you knew that you didn't stand a chance from the first attack. Haxorus was too strong for you, even though you're strong. Druddigon, I'm sorry. I didn't even understand how you felt. I just kept telling you to keep battling." Druddigon could hear the saddness in Iris's voice. "Druddigon, I can hope that you can forgive me for pushing you too hard. If you don't want to battle again, I won't make you. I was too into the thrill of winning, I didn't once consider your feelings. That's a mistake I promise I will never make again. And maybe we can pick some fruit and spend time just like we used to." Druddigon lhas hung on to everyone of Iris's words. Druddigon looked right at Iris as she fell asleep. Druddigon stood up and went off somewhere. Iris instantly woke up and saw Druddigon gone. She followed the footprints the cave Pokémon has left behind. She saw Druddigon was working on Focus Blast.
"I have to work hard for Iris's sake. You have nothing to be sorry for, Iris. I was the one who gave up because deep down, I was a coward. I was too afraid to take on any Pokémon that are stronger than me. I saw how much you refused to give up. I didn't understand any of it, because I was too alone, but you beat me, and you eanred my respect. I got too cocky for my own good. Now I have to work even harder than before!" - Druddigon subtitle. The cave Pokémon kept working on Focus Blast.
"Druddigon?" Iris asked. Druddion turned to see Iris. "Was that Focus Blast you were just using?" Druddigon didn't know how long she was watching. "would it be okay, if I helped you train for it?" Druddigon nodded. "Druddigon!" She went to embrace her Pokémon, but he turned. "Sorry, you should concentrate on using that move. Now, use Focus Blast!" Druddigon unleashed Focs Blast. "Again!" Iris and Druddigon kept at it all night. As the sun came up, Sora and Kairi saw Iris and Druddigon training. "Focus Blast!" Druddigon has managed to finally form a ball of energy. "Keep it steady and throw!" Druddigon threw the ball of energy as a large boulder, shattering it. Iris went up to embrace Druddigon. "We did it, Druddigon!" Druddigon beamed.
"Iris," Sora said. Iris and Druddigon saw the couple walk up to them. "That's where you were."
"You must be pretty hungry," Kairi said.
"Cilan is whipping up some breakfast," Sora said. Iris beamed at the thought of a good breakfast.
"So, what do you say, Druddigon?" Iris asked.
"Gon," Druddigon said.
As they went back to the camp, Eevee had used Shadow Ball on Geoergia when she tried to sit down and eat the breakfast meant for the group.
"Hey, what's your attitude, you little furball?" Georgia asked, angrily.
"Eevee is saying that it's not yours," Riku said.
"I would have told you that," Meowth said.
"What's the biggie? Just make some more," Georgia said.
"Would you like it if we just ate some of your breakfast without thinking about it?" Riku asked.
"Also, if you would ask, I would have liked to give you a plate," Kairi said. Geogie turend and saw Iris.
"Well, if it isn't it, Iris, the lame-o wannabe Dragon Master," Georgia taunted. Iris puffed up her cheeks. Sora stepped in.
"You should save that kind of talk on the battlefield, because that's where it belongs," Sora said.
"Hey, what I say to anyone is no one's business but my own," Goergia said.
"Look, Georgia, how about you and I have ourselves a battle. One-on-one," Sora said.
"You got a Dragon Type, don't you?" Georgia asked.
"I have my own Axew, and I can guarantee that he won't go down so easily," Sora said.
"I can guess I can just humor you. Besides, I could use the excercise," Georgia said. Sora took out his Pokéball and threw it.
"Come on out, Axew!" Sora called out. Sora's Axew came on out.
"I have to admit, your Axew has some spunk, and looks stronger than Iris's Axew, but a Dragon Type Pokémon is a Dragon Type Pokémon," Georgia said. Both of Sora and Georgia got into posioton to battle. Georgia has sent out her Beartic.
"Ladies first," Sora said.
"Beartic! use Icicle Crash!" Georgia ordered. Beartic has unleashed Icicle Crash right at the tusk Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Dragon Rage!" Sora ordered. Axew avoids Beartic's Icicle Crash and fires Dragon Rage right at Beartic, landing a hit. "Now, use Dragon Claw!" Axew came right at Beartic with Dragon Claw. Georgia growled in anger.
"Your Axew is starting to piss me off! Beartic! Use Ice Beam!" Georgia ordered. Beartic fires Ice Beam right at the tusk Pokémon, landing a heavy hit. "Now, use Slash!" Beartic slashed right at Axew. He wasn't going to stay down that easily as he stood back up on his feet.
"Axew, use Dragon Claw!" Sora ordered. Axew came right at Beartic with Dragon Claw.
"Use Slash!" Georgia ordered. Beartic came right at Axew with Slash. They swiped their calws into each other. Beartic has fallen to the ground, beaten. Axew has let out a loud yell, causing Axew to evolve. Sora's Axew was now a Fraxure.
"Sora's Axew is now a Fraxure!" Cilan said.
"The battle with Beartic has caused Axew to evolve," Riku said. Druddigon was amazed by how well Sora's Axew battled, despite not standing a chance. Georgia calls back Beartic. She glared right at Fraxure.
"Okay, you won, but it's not over, because I plan on winning the next time we meet. Same goes to you, Iris," Georgia said, taking off.
"Way to go, Sora!" Ventus said.
"That was amazing, Sora. I am so jealous of you since your Axew evolved before mine did," Iris said. Axew went up to the newly evolved Fraxure. Fraxure smiled and rubbed his head.
"Thanks. I think Fraxure might have inspired Druddigon into battling some more," Sora said. Druddion nodded in agreement.
"I promise to do my best to pay attention to your feelings. Do you think you can hang in there in the meantime?" Iris asked.
"Druddigon," Druddigon said, hugging Iris.
"Thank you, Druddigon!" Iris said, hugging Druddigon back.
There's no limit telling how strong the bond between trainer and Pokémon can grow. With Iris and Druddion as shining examples, the journey continues.
